| 2 | Literature Review on Wireless Sensing Wi-Fi Signal-Based Recognition of Human Activities显示文摘With the rapid development and wide deployment of wireless technology, Wi-Fi signals have no longer been confined to the Internet as a communication medium. Wi-Fi signals will be modulated again by human actions when propagating indoors, carrying rich human body state information. Therefore, a novel wireless sensing technology is gradually emerging that can realize gesture recognition, human daily activity detection, identification,indoor localization and human body tracking, vital signs detection, imaging, and emotional recognition by extracting effective feature information about human actions from Wi-Fi signals. Researchers mainly use channel state information or frequency modulated carrier wave in their current implementation schemes of wireless sensing technology, called 'Walls have eyes', and these schemes cover radio-frequency technology, signal processing technology, and machine learning. These available wireless sensing systems can be used in many applications such as smart home, medical health care, search-and-rescue, security, and with the high precision and passively device-free through-wall detection function. This paper elaborates the research actuality and summarizes each system structure and the basic principles of various wireless sensing applications in detail. Meanwhile, two popular implementation schemes are analyzed. | 3 | Spatio-temporal Dynamic Patterns of Rural Area Development in Eastern Coastal China显示文摘The aim of this study is to evaluate the current state of rural area development at the county level in the eastern coastal China. An evaluation index system including 18 factors was developed, and a rural development index (RDI) was constructed to evaluate rural development state in 2000, 2004, and 2008. The quantitative evaluation indicated the following results. 1) This study derived four dominating components by means of principal component analysis, which can explain 78.2% of the total information, namely agricultural production input, the basic condition of agriculture, the comparative effectiveness of grain production, and the household′s own basic conditions. 2) Since the turn of the new millennium, the rural area in the eastern coastal China has experienced a rapid development in general. Well developed, developed, moderately developed and undeveloped rural areas respectively occupied 29.32%, 22.33%, 21.91%, and 10.51% in 2008. 3) The countryside had maintained a sound momentum of developing trend between 2000 and 2008, while the rural development in the eastern coastal China lacked sustainability. And 4) industrialization, urbanization, original economic basis, and location are four major driving forces of the disparity of rural area development in the eastern coastal China. | 4 | Calculation of Temperature Field During Laser Transformation Hardening of Cylindrical Bodies显示文摘A Two-dimensional transient heat transfer model for laser transformation hardening process of cylindrical bodies has been developed. The surface heat loss of the sample, the latent heat of phase transformation, and the temperature dependence of thermal properties of material were considered. The laser heat source was considered as a moving Gaussian heat flux with a constant velocity. Finite element method was used to calculate the transient temperature field. A program to calculate the temperature field was developed using FORTRAN language. The transient temperature field, the width and depth of laser transformation hardening zone of 42CrMo steel sample during laser transformation hardening process was calculated. The widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones of 42CrMo steel samples were also measured experimentally. | 6 | Visible characteristics of space-based targets based on bidirectional reflection distribution function显示文摘A precise modeling method of visible characteristics of the space-based target was presented based on bidirectional reflection distribution function (BRDF). The background characteristics of the space-based target were represented to build models of direct solar radiation and reflected radiation of the Earth based on blackbody radiation theory. The geometry characteristics of the target were analyzed to establish a surface equation of each surface based on its body coordinate system. The material characteristics of the target surface were described by introducing a BRDF model which considers the character of surface Gauss statistics and self-shadow and is obtained by measurement and modeling in advance. The relative positions of the space-based target, the background radiation sources and the observation platform were determined based on coordinate con- version to judge contributing surface of the target to observation system. Then a mathematical model on visible characteristics of the space target for the given optical system was built by summing reflection components of all the surfaces. Simulation of visible characteristics of the space-based target in orbit was achieved according to its given geometrical dimensions, physical parameters and orbital parameters. The adsorption dynamics of Cefoselis hydrochloride(CFH) on XR 920 C adsorbent in fixed bed was predicted by the model of modified film-pore diffusion(MFPD). The intraparticle diffusion equation and mass balance equation in fixed bed are discretized into two ordinary differential equations(ODEs) using the method of orthogonal collocation which largely improves the calculation accuracy. The MFPD model parameters including the pore diffusion coefficient(Dp), external mass-transfer coefficient(kf), and the axial dispersion(DL) were estimated. The kfvalue was calculated by the Carberry equation, in which the effective diffusion coefficient Dewas fitted based on Crank Model through experimental data. Moreover, three key operating parameters(i.e., initial adsorbate concentration; flow rate of import feed, and bed height of adsorbent) and the corresponded breakthrough curves were systematically studied and optimized. | 19 | An effective planting model to decrease cadmium accumulation in rice grains and plants:Intercropping rice with wetland plants显示文摘Cadmium(Cd)pollution affects plant growth and poses a serious threat to food safety and human health.Cadmium-contaminated rice is assumed to be the main source of Cd exposure to humans,with grave health risks.Phytoremediation is an efficient,cost-effective,and eco-friendly approach to minimize Cd accumulation in rice.However,research on the effect of rice intercropping with wetland plants that exhibit great capacity for phytoremediation in decreasing Cd concentrations in paddies is limited.A pot experiment in greenhouse was conducted to evaluate the effect of rice intercropping with two wetland plants(Pontederia cordata and Canna indica)under different soil Cd levels(0,1,10,and 25 mg kg^(-1))on rice growth and Cd accumulation and translocation.The results showed that rice intercropping with the two wetland plants significantly improved plant height,tiller,and biomass of rice,but reduced Cd bioconcentration factors(BCFs)and Cd concentrations in rice and wetland plants.Compared with rice monocropping,the BCF in rice grain under 25 mg kg^(-1)soil Cd level significantly decreased by 54.39%and 59.65%in the systems of rice intercropping with C.indica and P.cordata,respectively.In addition,intercropping inhibited the increase in BCFs in rice and wetland plants under increasing soil Cd levels.In conclusion,the systems of rice intercropping with P.cordata and C.indica can be considered two new and effective approaches for ameliorating Cd pollution in paddies,as well as minimizing Cd accumulation in rice and improving food safety.Of the two intercropping systems,rice intercropping with P.cordata performed better than intercropping with C.indica. | Huimin XIANG Ni LAN Fugang WANG Benliang ZHAO Hui WEI Jiaen ZHANG | 2023 | Pedosphere2023,33,2: | 0 |
