1An ethnobotanical study of forage plants in Zhuxi County in the Qinba mountainous area of central China显示文摘In the Qinba mountainous area of Central China,pig farming has a significant impact on the growth of the rural economy and has substantially increased farmer incomes.Traditional knowledge plays an important role in the selection of forage plant species for pig farming by local people.This study aimed to identify the forage plants used for pig feeding and to catalog indigenous knowledge regarding their use.During 2016 and 2017,ethnobotanical surveys and inventories were conducted in Zhuxi County,Hubei Province,China.Data were collected using semi-structured interviews,key informant reports,free listings,guided field walks,and participatory observations with 77 households in 16 villages in 13 towns/townships.The obtained data were analyzed using a relative frequency citation(RFC)index.Overall,145 wild forage plants from 91 genera and 31 families were recorded.The most cited families were Asteraceae,Polygonaceae,Urticaceae,Amaranthaceae,Fabaceae,Cruciferae,Caryophyllaceae,and Lamiaceae.Whole plants(75.9%)and tender leaves(12.4%)were the most frequently used parts of the plants.Most of the forage plants were herbaceous(88.9%).Almost all forage plants could be collected throughout the year(62.7%).Raw and cooked were the two main preparation methods.The most frequently cited species were Taraxacum mongolicum,Bidens pilosa,Sonchus oleraceus,Pilea verrucosa,and Pilea pumila var.obtusifolia.A total of 14 species were identified as the top forage plants in Zhuxi County based on their RFC values(RFC value greater than 0.5).Local people possess rich traditional knowledge about the utilization and management of forage plants for pig feeding.However,the maintenance of this traditional knowledge may be seriously threatened by changes in pig feeding modes and the lack of successors.Appropriate strategies and action plans have been suggested for the conservation of traditional knowledge associated with biodiversity and the sustainable use of forage species resources.These include 1)taking targeted measures to protect forage resources and associated traditional knowledge;2)strengthening research on the forage plants with the highest RFC values for nutritional value,digestibility,other functions,and ecological status;and 3)enhancing the identification of poisonous forage plants.Jun Yang Jifeng Luo Qiliang Gan Leiyu Ke Fengming Zhang Hairu Guo Fuwei Zhao Yuehu Wang 2021Plant Diversity2021,43,3:3
2Fractal image encoding with flexible classification sets显示文摘Fractal image compression(FIC)technology is an interesting attempt at structure similarity-based image compression.It has been widely applied in many fields such as image encryption,image retrieval,image sharpening,and pattern recognition.However,overlong encoding time is the main difficulty for the application of FIC.In this paper,a new FIC speedup algorithm is proposed with two steps.Firstly,the simplified statistical variable expressions can speed up encoding twice more than the baseline fractal compression(BFC)without loss of image quality corresponding to BFC.Secondly,based on the fact that the affine self-similarity is equivalent to the absolute value of Pearson’s correlation coefficient,a new block classification strategy with flexible classification sets is proposed to speed up encoding further.The experiment results and theoretical analysis show that the proposed scheme achieves high performance in both image quality preservation and encoding efficiency.Jianji Wang Xuguang Lan Yuehu Liu Nanning Zheng 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,14:2
3Fabrication of a monolithic 4H-SiC junction barrier schottky diode with the capability of high current显示文摘There is a great interest in monolithic 4H-Si C Junction Barrier Schottky(JBS) diodes with the capability of a high forward current for industrial power applications.In this paper,we report large-area monolithic 4H-Si C JBS diodes fabricated on a 10 μm 4H-Si C epitaxial layer doped to 6×1015 cm3.JBS diodes with an active area of 30 mm2 had a forward current of up to 330 A at a forward voltage of 5 V,which corresponds to a current density of 1100 A/cm2.A near ideal breakdown voltage of 1.6 k V was also achieved for a reverse current of up to 100 A through the use of an optimum multiple floating guard rings(MFGR) termination,which is about 87.2% of the theoretical value.The differential specific-on resistance(RSP-ON) was measured to be 3.3 m cm2,leading to a FOM(VB2/RSP-ON) value of 0.78 GW/cm2,which is very close to the theoretical limit of the tradeoff between the specific-on resistance and breakdown voltage for 4H-Si C unipolar devices.SONG QingWen YUAN Hao HAN Chao ZHANG YuMing TANG XiaoYan ZHANG YiMeng GUO Hui ZHANG YiMen JIA RenXu WANG YueHu 2015Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,8:2
