| 1 | Magnetic properties and large magnetocaloric effects of GdPd intermetallic compound显示文摘With the intention to explore excellent magnetocaloric materials, the intermetallic compound GdPd was synthesized by arc melting and heat treatment. The microstructure, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of the intermetallic compound of GdPd were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and the physical property measurement system(PPMS). A large reversible magnetocaloric effect is observed in GdPd accompanied by a second order magnetic phase transition from paramagnetism to ferromagnetism at ~39 K. The paramagnetic Curie temperature(θp) and the effective magnetic moment(μ_(eff))are determined to be 34.7 K and 8.12 μ_B/Gd,respectively. The maximum entropy change(|△S_M^(Max)|) and the relative cooling power(RCP) under a field change of 5 T are estimated to be 20.14 J/(kg·K) and 433 J/kg, respectively. | 3 | Au plasmon enhanced high performance β-Ga_2O_3 solar-blind photo-detector显示文摘Surface plasmon polariton(SPP) is electro-magnetic wave coupled to free electron oscillations near the surface of metal, and has been used to improve the photoelectric properties in many optoelectronic devices. In the present study, the Au nanoparticles(NPs)/β-Ga_2O_3 composite thin film was fabricated through depositing Au ultra-thin film on the β-Ga_2O_3 thin film followed by post-thermal treatment. Compared to bare β-Ga_2O_3 thin film, a significant absorption around 510 nm, which is attributed to SPP of Au NPs, was observed in the UV–vis spectrum of Au NPs/β-Ga_2O_3 composite thin film. | 4 | OsVP1 activates Sdr4 expression to control rice seed dormancy via the ABA signaling pathway显示文摘Pre-harvest sprouting(PHS)is a disadvantageous trait in cereal production worldwide,causing large economic losses each year.Its regulation mechanism is still unclear.We generated the Oryza sativa Viviparous1(OsVP1)mutant using gene editing technique,which shows increased PHS compared with that of the wild type Nipponbare.OsVP1 is localized mainly in the nucleus and expressed in various tissues and organs.Expression of Seed dormancy 4(Sdr4),a key gene controlling PHS,was sharply reduced in OsVP1 mutants.OsVP1 bound to the specific motif CACCTG in the promoter of Sdr4 and activated its expression in rice protoplasts.Overexpression of Sdr4 reduced the high seed germination rate of OsVP1 mutant cr-osvp1-1,showing that Sdr4 acts as a downstream target of OsVP1.Both OsVP1 and Sdr4 loss-of-function mutants were insensitive to exogenous ABA and employed the ABA signaling pathway in regulating seed dormancy.These findings shed light on the control of seed dormancy aimed at preventing PHS in rice. | Wenqiang Chen Wei Wang Yusong Lyu Yawen Wu Pingliang Huang Shikai Hu Xiangjin Wei Guiai Jiao Zhonghua Sheng Shaoqing Tang Gaoneng Shao Ju Luo | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,1: | 5 |
| 5 | Hollow Co_9S_8 from metal organic framework supported on rGO as electrode material for highly stable supercapacitors显示文摘Metal sulfides as a feasible candidate with high specific capacitance for supercapacitors suffer from sluggish ion/electron transport kinetics and rapid capacitance fading. Herein, we demonstrate a method to fabricate a composite of reduced graphene oxide(rGO) with hollow Co_9S_8 derived from metal organic framework(MOF). Due to the combined highly conductive rGO substrates and hollow shell, the prepared r GO/Co_9S_8 composite exhibits a high specific capacitance of 575.9 F/g at 2 A/g and 92.0% capacitance retention after 9000 cycles. | 15 | Porous Co_(2)VO_(4) Nanodisk as a High-Energy and Fast-Charging Anode for Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘High-energy–density lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)that can be safely fast-charged are desirable for electric vehicles.However,sub-optimal lithiation potential and low capacity of commonly used LIBs anode cause safety issues and low energy density.Here we hypothesize that a cobalt vanadate oxide,Co_(2)VO_(4),can be attractive anode material for fast-charging LIBs due to its high capacity(~1000 mAh g^(−1))and safe lithiation potential(~0.65 V vs.Li^(+)/Li).The Li+diffusion coefficient of Co2VO4 is evaluated by theoretical calculation to be as high as 3.15×10^(-10) cm^(2) s^(−1),proving Co_(2)VO_(4) a promising anode in fast-charging LIBs.A hexagonal porous Co2VO4 nanodisk(PCVO ND)structure is designed accordingly,featuring a high specific surface area of 74.57 m^(2) g^(−1) and numerous pores with a pore size of 14 nm.This unique structure succeeds in enhancing Li^(+) and electron transfer,leading to superior fast-charging performance than current commercial anodes.As a result,the PCVO ND shows a high initial reversible capacity of 911.0 mAh g^(−1) at 0.4 C,excellent fast-charging capacity(344.3 mAh g^(−1) at 10 C for 1000 cycles),outstanding long-term cycling stability(only 0.024% capacity loss per cycle at 10 C for 1000 cycles),confirming the commercial feasibility of PCVO ND in fast-charging LIBs. | Jinghui Ren Zhenyu Wang Peng Xu Cong Wang Fei Gao Decheng Zhao Shupei Liu Han Yang Di Wang Chunming Niu Yusong Zhu Yutong Wu Xiang Liu Zhoulu Wang Yi Zhang | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,1: | 1 |
