1Co-delivery of resveratrol and docetaxel via polymeric micelles to improve the treatment of drug-resistant tumors显示文摘Co-delivery of anti-cancer drugs is promising to improve the efficacy of cancer treatment.This study was aiming to investigate the potential of concurrent delivery of resveratrol(RES)and docetaxel(DTX)via polymeric nanocarriers to treat breast cancer.To this end,methoxyl poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(D,L-lactide)copolymer(mPEG-PDLA)was prepared and characterized using FTIR and 1H NMR,and their molecular weights were determined by GPC.Isobologram analysis and combination index calculation were performed to find the optimal ratio between RES and DTX to against human breast adenocarcinoma cell line(MCF-7 cells).Subsequently,RES and DTX were loaded in the mPEG-PDLA micelles simultaneously,and the morphology,particle size distribution,in vitro release,pharmacokinetic profiles,as well as cytotoxicity to the MCF-7 cells were characterized.IC50 of RES and DTX in MCF-7 cells were determined to be 23.0μg/ml and 10.4μg/ml,respectively,while a lower IC50 of 4.8μg/ml of the combination of RES and DTX was obtained.The combination of RES and DTX at a ratio of 1:1(w/w)generated stronger synergistic effect than other ratios in the MCF-7 cells.RES and DTX loaded mPEG-PDLA micelles exhibited prolonged release profiles,and enhanced cytotoxicity in vitro against MCF-7 cells.The AUC(0→t)of DTX and RES in mPEG-PDLA micelles after i.v.administration to rats were 3.0-fold and 1.6-fold higher than that of i.v.injections of the individual drugs.These findings indicated that the co-delivery of RES and DTX using mPEG-PDLA micelles could have better treatment of tumors.Xiong Guo Zhiyue Zhao Dawei Chen Mingxi Qiao Feng Wan Dongmei Cun Yi Sun Mingshi Yang 2019Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2019,14,1:4

3Ultrasonic characterization of ultra-thin elastic layer using retrieve function显示文摘Using frequency domain retrieve function, a method is presented for characterizing ultra-thin plate by low frequency ultrasound. 'Ultra-thin' means that the thickness of specimen is much less than the wavlength. The throughtransmission retrieve function is examined in detail. In conjunction with the method of least squares, the amplitude spectrum, phase spectrum and complex spectrum are all used to determine the best estimation. An analysis of some typical sources of the estimate deviation is presented. The sensitivities of the retrieve function to acoustical parameters and its significance in the propagation of errors have been derived and well discussed.In experimental study the technique is employed to characterize the brass sheets ranging from 25.4μm to 152.4 pm with a broadba-nd 2 MHz transducer. 10Low frequency ultrasonic multi-mode Lamb wave method for characterizing the ultra-thin transversely isotropic laminate composite: Theory and experiment显示文摘A low-frequency multi-mode ultrasonic Lamb wave method suitable for character- izing the thickness, the density and the elastic constants of the ultra-thin transversely isotropic laminate composite is presented. The 'ultra-thin' here means that the thickness of the plate is much less than the wavelength of the ultrasonic wave so that the echoes from the front and back faces of the plate can’t be separated in the time domain. The dispersion equations for the low frequency ultrasonic Lamb waves with the propagation directions parallel and vertical to the fiber direction are derived. In conjunction with the least square algorithm method, the secant algorithm is used to estimate the parameters of the ultra-thin fiber-reinforced composite layer. The evaluation errors and the sensitivity of the method to different paramters of the thin composite are analyzed. The technique has been used to characterize the ultra-thin grass fiber reinforced PES composite with thickness down to ten percents of the ultrasonic wavelength. 19Elasticity imaging for regularly spaced structures utilizing WT matched filtering method显示文摘Based on wavelet transform of time-scale domain, a new strain estimation method is presented to position the regular scatterers, calculate the local scatterer spacing and its change, and estimate the internal strain distribution of tissue mimicking phantom. Simulation and experiment results for uniform and nonuniform phantoms show the internal strain of regularly spaced structures can be estimated accurately using this method and the influence of global boundary condition on the estimated strain distribution can be eliminated by reconstructing the real elasticity distribution.
