| 1 | Information flow and controlling in regularization inversion of quantitative remote sensing显示文摘In order to minimize uncertainty of the inversed parameters to the largest extent by making full use of the limited information in remote sensing data, it is necessary to understand what the information flow in quantitative remote sensing model inversion is, thus control the information flow. Aiming at this, the paper takes the linear kernel-driven model inversion as an example. At first, the information flow in different inversion methods is calculated and analyzed, then the effect of information flow controlled by multi-stage inversion strategy is studied, finally, an information matrix based on USM is defined to control information flow in inversion. It shows that using Shannon entropy decrease of the inversed parameters can express information flow more properly. Changing the weight of a priori knowledge in inversion or fixing parameters and partitioning datasets in multi-stage inversion strategy can control information flow. | 2 | Characterization of fine organic particulate matter from Chinese cooking显示文摘PM 2.5 samples were collected by a three-stage cascade impactor at two kinds of Chinese restaurants to characterize fine organic particulate matter from Chinese cooking sources. Major individual organic compounds have been quantified by GC/MS, including series of alkanes, n-alkanoic acids, n-alkanals, alkan-2-ones and PAHs. Alkanes and ketones make up a significant fraction of particle-phase organic compounds, ranging from C 11 to C 26, and C 9 to C 19, respectively. In addition, other organic compound classes have been identified, such as alkanols, esters, furans, lactones, amides, and nitriles. | 4 | Varying coefficient analysis for indeterminate species interactions with non-parametric estimation, exemplifying with a fig-fig wasp system显示文摘Research on species interactions has generally assumed that species have a fixed interaction and therefore linear or non-linear parametric regression models (e.g. exponential, logistic) have been widely used to describe the species interaction. However, these models that describe the relationship between interacting species as a specific functional response might not be appropriate for real biological communities, for instance, in a chaotic system, when the species relationship varies among different situations. To allow a more accurate description of the relationship, we developed a species correlation model with varying coefficient analysis, in which a non-parametric estimation is applied to identify, as a function of related factors, variation in the correlation coefficient. This was applied to a fig-fig wasp model system. When the effect of the factors on the relationship can be described with parameters, the new method reduces to traditional parametric correlation analysis. In this way, the new method is more general and flexible for empirical data analyses, but different by allowing investigation of whether a species interaction varies with respect to factors, and of the factors that maintain or change the species interaction. | 5 | RESIDENTS' ATTITUDES TO TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN ANCIENT VILLAGE RESORTS——Case Study of World Cultural Heritage of Xidi and Hong Villages显示文摘Tourism development surely has social, economic and environmental impacts on tourist destinations.The study on resorts residents' attitudes can help understand the nature of tourism development and the extent to which it may influence on tourist destinations. By now, researches on residents' perception and attitudes are plenteous in the international circle and achievements are great, yet few are found in developing countries. As a most representative cultural tourist destination, World Cultural Heritage-Xidi and Hong villages in Yi County of Anhui Province, are drawing the attention of both tourists and academic circles. This article, taking Xidi and Hong villages as examples, seeks to analyze ancient village residents' attitudes towards tourism impacts and then tries further to explore the connection between tourism development and residents' attitudes. Both qualitative and quantitative surveys are applied in the exploratory investigation into local residents' attitudes of tourism impacts. Based on abundant face-to-face interviews with the local households, tourism enterprises concerned, local government and tourists from July to August of 2002, we are able to have a better understanding of local residents' attitudes to community life, and perception of tourism impacts on society, economy and environment. | 6 | Pollution characteristics of the rivers in suburban Shanghai显示文摘Forty middle and small rivers in three towns of Fengjing, Songjiang and Zhujiajiao of suburban Shanghai were chosen as sampling sites for water quality research. Measurement results of DO, CODCr, TP, TN and so on show that the rivers are under heavy eutropic conditions, which are several times greater than the critical values of the worst level (Type V) of water. Water pollution situation has different temporal and spatial characteristics. This is the first example of benzotriazole polyoxometalates species. The compound crystallized in a triclinic space group P 1 with a =1 8378(4) nm, b =1 9078(4) nm, c =2 1037 (4) nm, α =\{63 41(3)°\}, β =64 31(3)°, γ =68 38(3)°, V =5 803(2) nm 3, Z =2, R 1=0 0486, wR 2=0 1357. The X ray crystallographic study showed that the crystal structure was constructed by electrostatic interactions and hydrogen bonds between dodecamolybdophosphorate anions and protonated benzotriazole cations. The emanative tendency exists in GPS solution when the filter equations are ill-posed. The deviation in the estimation cannot be avoided. Furthermore, the true solution may be lost in pseudorange positioning because the linearized pseudorange equations are partial solutions. To solve the above problems in GPS dynamic positioning by using EKF, a closed-form Kalman filter method called the two-stage algorithm is presented for the nonlinear algebraic solution of GPS dynamic positioning based on the global nonlinear least squares closed algorithm--Bancroft numerical algorithm of American.
