1Mapping a mammalian adult adrenal gland hierarchy across species by microwell-seq显示文摘Recently,single-cell RNA-seq technologies have been rapidly updated,leading to a revolution in biology.We previously developed Microwell-seq,a cost-effective and high-throughput single cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)method with a very simple device.Most cDNA libraries are sequenced using an expensive Illumina platform.Here,we present the first report showing combined Microwell-seq and BGI MGISEQ2000,a less expensive sequencing platform,to profile the whole transcriptome of 11,883 individual mouse adult adrenal gland cells and identify 18 transcriptionally distinct clusters.Moreover,we performed a single-cell comparative analysis of human and mouse adult adrenal glands to reveal the conserved genetic networks in these mammalian systems.These results provide new insights into the sophisticated adrenal gland hierarchy and provide a benchmark,low-cost strategy for highthroughput single-cell RNA study.Shujing Lai Lifeng Ma Weigao E Fang Ye Haide Chen Xiaoping Han Guoji Guo 2020Cell Regeneration2020,9,1:2
2Predictably synthesizing a library of white-light-emitting perovskites显示文摘The low-dimensional organic-inorganic halide perovskites with self-trapped exciton emission have promising prospects for single-phase white-light emitters. However, so far, these broadband white-light-emitting(BWLE) perovskites were synthesized by trial-and-error testing spacing molecules. Here, we developed a steric hindrance regulation strategy to predictably synthesize BWLE perovskites. The molecules containing C–C(–NH_(2))–C groups were introduced into low-dimensional perovskites, which brings a large steric hindrance in-plane orientation. The bigger C–C(–NH_(2))–C bond angle would induce larger structural distortion in perovskites, which leads to the higher rate of self-trapping of excitons and the deeper self-trapping depth. The photoluminescence spectra of the synthesized perovskites can cover the cool-to-warm white light region. Overall, we fabricated a material library consisting of 40 kinds of BWLE compounds according to this strategy. 3Circular RNA circFOXM1 triggers the tumorigenesis of non-small cell lung cancer through miR-132-3p/TMEM14A axis显示文摘Farlier studies indicated that circular RNAs(circRNAs)were found in various cancer clls,and circFOXM1 was reported to act as an oncogane in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).However,the function of circFOXM1 in NSCLC remains undear.The epression lewels of genes were measured using quantative real-time polymerase chain reactions(qRT-PCR).Cell prolferation and apoptosis were determined by 3-(4,5 dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-25 dipbenyletrazolium bromide solution(MTT)and flow cytometry assay.The rdative protein expression was assed by westen blot Moreower,transwell assays were employed to examine ell migration and invasion.The targeted relationship was confirmed by dual-luciferase reporter assay.The expression of circFOXMI was up-regulated in NSCIC tissues and cell lines.The depletion of circFOXM1 decreased the prolferation,migration,invasion,and induced cell apoptosis of NSCLC cells.MicroRNA-132-3p(MiR-1323p)was idenified as a target of dircFOXMl.The expression level of miR-132-3p was decrased in NSCLC tssues and cell lines and inversely corrdated with circFOXM1 expression.Furthermore,the efects of drdOXMl down regulation on NSCLC cell progression were abolished by mR-1323p inhibitor.Transmembrane protein 14A(TMEM14A)was verifed as a target gene of miR-132-3p.The efects of circFOXM1 depletion on NSCLC cell proliferation,apoptosis,migration,and invasion were reversed by TMEMI4A overexpression.Our study demonstrated that knodkdown of circFOXM1 suppressed NSCLC progression through rqgulating miR-132-3p/TMEMI4A axis,sugesting the drFOXM/miR-132-3p/TMEM14A axis may serve as the novd target for NSCLC diagnosis and therapy.WEIGAO ZHONG AIQIN CHEN XIAOHONG TANG YI LIU 2021BIOCELL2021,45,4:1
4Temperature-driven reversible structural transformation and conductivity switching in ultrathin Cu_(9)S_(5)crystals显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)materials with reversible phase transformation are appealing for their rich physics and potential applications in information storage.However,up to now,reversible phase transitions in 2D materials that can be driven by facile nondestructive methods,such as temperature,are still rare.Here,we introduce ultrathin Cu_(9)S_(5)crystals grown by chemical vapor deposition(CVD)as an exemplary case.For the first time,their basic electrical properties were investigated based on Hall measurements,showing a record high hole carrier density of~1022 cm^(-3) among 2D semiconductors.Besides,an unusual and repeatable conductivity switching behavior at~250 K were readily observed in a wide thickness range of CVD-grown Cu_(9)S_(5)(down to 2 unit-cells).Confirmed by in-situ selected area electron diffraction,this unusual behavior can be ascribed to the reversible structural phase transition between the room-temperature hexagonalβphase and low-temperatureβ’phase with a superstructure.Our work provides new insights to understand the physical properties of ultrathin Cu_(9)S_(5)crystals,and brings new blood to the 2D materials family with reversible phase transitions.Lei Zhang Zeya Li Ying Deng Li Li Zhansheng Gao Jiabiao Chen Zhengyang Zhou Junwei Huang Weigao Xu Xuewen Fu Hongtao Yuan Feng Luo Jinxiong Wu 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
5A Generic TC-Based Method to Find the Weakness in Different Phases of Masking Schemes显示文摘Masking is one of the most commonly used Side-Channel Attack(SCA) countermeasures and is built on a security framework, such as the ISW framework, and ensures theoretical security through secret sharing.Unfortunately, the theoretical security cannot guarantee practical security, because several possible weaknesses may exist in the actual implementation. These weaknesses likely come from the masking schemes or are introduced by the implementation methods. Finding the possible weakness of the masking scheme is an interesting and important issue for real applications. In this paper, the possible weaknesses for masking schemes in FieldProgrammable Gate Array(FPGA) design are discussed. It was found that the combinational circuit is the key to the security of masking schemes. The Toggle Count(TC) method and its extension are utilized to evaluate the security of masking schemes in the design phase and the implementation phase separately. Comparing different logic-level simulators for the Xilinx FPGA platform, the behavioral and post-translate simulations are considered as the analysis method in the design phase, while the post-map and the post-route simulations are used to find the weakness during the implementation phase.
