| 1 | Zircon U-Pb geochronology of basement metamorphic rocks in the Songliao Basin显示文摘Zircon LA-ICP MS U-Pb dating of six metamorphic rocks and a metagranite (breccia) from southern basement of the Songliao Basin are reported in order to constrain the formation ages of basement. The basement metamorphic rocks in the Songliao Basin mainly consist of metagabbro (L45-1), amphibolite (SN117), metarhyolitical tuff (G190), sericite (Ser) schist (N103), chlorite (Chl) schist (T5-1), biotite (Bi)-actinolite (Act)-quartz (Q) schist (Y205), and metagranite (L44-1). The cathodoluminesence (CL) images of the zircons from metagabbro (L45-1) and metagranite (L44-1) indicate that they have cores of magmatic origin and rims of metamorphic overgrowths. Their U-Pb isotopic ages are 1808±21 Ma and 1873±13 Ma, respectively. The zircons with oscillatory zoning from amphibolite (SN117) and Chl schist (T5-1), being similar to those of mafic igneous rocks, yield ages of 274 ± 3.4 Ma and 264 ± 3.2 Ma, re-spectively. The zircons from metarhyolitical tuff (G190) and Ser schist (N103) display typical magmatic growth zoning and yield ages of 424 ± 4.5 Ma and 287 ± 5.1Ma, respectively. Most of zircons from Bi-Act-Q schist (Y205) are round in shape and different in absorption degree in the CL images, implying their sedimentary detritals. U-Pb dating yield concordant ages of 427 ± 3.1Ma, 455 ± 12 Ma, 696 ± 13 Ma, 1384±62 Ma, 1649±36 Ma, 1778±18 Ma, 2450±9 Ma, 2579±10 Ma, 2793±4 Ma and 2953±14 Ma. | 2 | Delamination and destruction of the North China Craton显示文摘This article presents an overview on recent developments in studies of chemical and physical processes of lithospheric delamination with respect to destruction of the North China Craton. It is emphasized that the pyroxenite source resulting from interaction between eclogite-derived melt and peridotite is a direct consequence of delamination. The pyroxenite source thus formed has unique mineralogical and geochemical features, which characterize Mesozoic basalts of the North China Craton. Melt-peridotite interaction played an important role in refertilization of cratonic lithospheric mantle, leading to density increase, weakening and final destabilization of the North China Craton. | 3 | Discovery of eclogite inclusions and its geological significance in early Jurassic intrusive complex in Xuzhou-northern Anhui, eastern China显示文摘The early Jurassic intrusive complex is chiefly made of monzodioritic porphyry in northern Anhui and northern Jiangsu, which emplaced in 191 Ma. The intrusive complexes contain a lot of eclogite inclusions which belong to eclogite and garnet-pyroxenite. The inclusions had undergone eclogite facies high-pressure metamorphism and am-phibolite facies retrogressive metamorphism. The garnets in eclogite inclusions are mainly almandine varieties and clino-pyroxenes are omphacite and augite. The mineral assemblage and P-T estimation results show that P-T conditions of eclogite facies metamorphism and amphibolite facies retrogressive metamorphism are over 1.2-1.5 GPa, 709-861°C and 0.7-1.03 GPa, 666-738°C, respectively. | 4 | SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating in Jingshan 'migmatitic granite', Bengbu and its geological significance显示文摘The petrographic characteristics of Jingshan 'migmatitic granite' and the occurrence of the magmatic zircons indicate that the granite was formed by normal crystallization of felsic melts. All zircons in the granite have inherited cores and fine-scale oscillatory zoning rims of magmatic origin. It is realized that the granite was formed at 160.2±1.3 Ma through dating magmatic zircons. The generation of the granitic magma could be related to the lithospheric mantle and/or lower crust delamination after the ultrahigh pressure metamorphism (UHPM) in Triassic. Most inherited zircons yield the ages of 217.1±6.6 Ma, which is consistent with the peak UHPM in the Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt. Some of the inherited zircons (433-722 Ma) constitute a discordia line with the upper intercept age of 850+85/-68 Ma and a lower intercept age of 261+100/-140 Ma. These ages imply that the granite could be derived from the partial melting of the crustal materials of the South China Block that was intensively superimposed by the UHPM. | 5 | LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating from granitoids in southern basement of Songliao basin:Constraints on ages of the basin basement显示文摘Seven LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb datings from granitoids in the southern basement of the Songliao basin were done in order to constrain the ages of the basin basement. The cathodoluminescence (CL) images of the zircons from seven granitoids indicate that they are euhedral-subhedral ones with striped ab-sorption and obvious oscillatory zoning rims. The dating results show that a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age is 236±3 Ma for quartz diorite (sample No.T6-1) located in the western slope of the basin,that weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 319±1 Ma (2126 m) and 361±2 Ma (1994 m) for diorite (sample No.YC1-1) and granite (sample No.YC1-2) located in northern part of southeastern uplift of the basin,respectively,and that weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 161±5 Ma,165±2 Ma,165±1 Ma and 161±4 Ma for samples Q2-1,SN121,SN122,and SN72 granitoids located in southern part of southeastern uplift of the basin,respectively. The statistical results of ages suggest that the middle Jurassic granitoids con-stitute the main part of basement granitoids,and that the Hercynian and Indo-Sino magmatisms also occur in the basin basement. | 6 | Petrogenesis of Mesozoic High-Mg Diorites in Western Shandong: Evidence from Chronology and Petro-geochemistry显示文摘The high-Mg diorites, widely occurring in western Shandong, have important implications in the study of the relationship between the Mesozoic magmatism and the nature of the lithosphere and its thinning period in the eastern North China craton (NCC). The Tietonggou and Jinling intrusions are typically representatives. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating, major and trace element and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions of the Mesozoic intrusive rocks from western Shandong, eastern China, were analyzed. The weighted mean 206Pb/ 238U ages from LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating results for early norite-diorite, late pyroxene-diorite from the Tietonggou intrusion and biotite-diorite from the Jinling intrusion are (131.4±4.9) Ma(n=15), (134.5±2.3) Ma(n=13), and (132.8±4.2) Ma(n=12), respectively, implying that they were formed in the Early Cretaceous. The weighted mean 207Pb/ 206Pb ages for round zircons from late pyroxene-diorite in the Tietonggou intrusion is (2 513±54) Ma(n=8), suggesting that the basement of the North China craton should exist in the research area. The high-Mg diorites are characterized by enrichment in MgO, Na2O, and light rare earth elements (LREE), and they are poor in heavy rare earth elements (HREE) and high field strength elements (HFSE), being similar to adakite. The existence of the mantle peridotite xenoliths with a high-Mg feature for these intrusive rocks implies that their primary magma should be derived from the upper mantle. However, Sr-Nd isotopic compositions (I sr: 0.704 75-0.707 15; ε Nd(130 Ma) values: -3.95 to -13.30), depletion in HFSE, and the occurrence of Archean inherited zircons suggest that crustal materials could be involved in the derivation of the primary magma. The compositional difference between the diorites from the Tietonggou and Jinling intrusions could be attributed to those of magma sources and degrees of partial melting. | 7 | Petrogenesis of Shangyu gabbro-diorites in western Shandong:Geochronological and geochemical evidence显示文摘Chronology and geochemistry of the Shangyu gabbro-diorite in western Shandong were studied to understand their petrogenesis and the nature of the Mesozoic lithospheric mantle. The Shangyu intru-sion is mainly composed of a suite of gabbro-diorite. Zircons from the intrusion display eu-hedral-subhedral in shape and have high Th/U ratios (1.23―2.87), implying their magmatic origin. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating results for two samples indicate that they were formed in the Early Cre-taceous, yielding weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages of 129±1Ma and 134±2Ma, respectively. Except for early cumulate such as sample QT-19, their SiO2 and MgO contents range from 50.12% to 56.37% and from 3.52% to 6.37%, respectively. Moreover, the gabbro-diorites are characterized by high Mg# (0.54―0.63), enrichment in Na (Na2O/K2O ratios more than 1), Cr (73×10-6―217×10-6) and Ni (34×10-6―241×10-6), and intensive enrichments in light rare earth elements (LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements (LILEs) and depletion in high field strength elements (HFSEs). Their initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios and ε Nd(t) values range from 0.70962 to 0.71081 and from-16.60 to-13.04, respectively. Taken together with the Early Creta-ceous high-Mg diorites and the mantle xenoliths from the Tietonggou and Jinling as well as basalts from the Fangcheng and Feixian, it is suggested that the primary magma for the Shangyu gab-bro-diorites should be derived from the enriched lithospheric mantle intensively modified by conti-nental crust. | 9 | Spatial patterns of ecosystem vulnerability changes during 2001–2011 in the three-river source region of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China显示文摘The three-river source region(TRSR, including Yangtze, Yellow and Lancang rivers), located in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China, is a typical alpine zone with apparent ecosystem vulnerability and sensitivity. In this paper, we introduced many interdisciplinary factors, such as landscape pattern indices(Shannon diversity index and Shannon evenness index) and extreme climate factors(number of extreme high temperature days, number of extreme low temperature days, and number of extreme precipitation days), to establish a new model for evaluating the spatial patterns of ecosystem vulnerability changes in the TRSR. The change intensity(CI) of ecosystem vulnerability was also analyzed. The results showed that the established evaluation model was effective and the ecosystem vulnerability in the whole study area was intensive. During the study period of 2001–2011, there was a slight degradation in the eco-environmental quality. The Yellow River source region had the best eco-environmental quality, while the Yangtze River source region had the worst one. In addition, the zones dominated by deserts were the most severely deteriorated areas and the eco-environmental quality of the zones occupied by evergreen coniferous forests showed a better change. Furthermore, the larger the change rates of the climate factors(accumulative temperature of ≥10°C and annual average precipitation) are, the more intensive the CI of ecosystem vulnerability is. | 10 | Use of gated myocardial perfusion imaging to assess clinical value of Xinmailong injection in chronic congestive heart failure显示文摘OBJECTIVE: This study used gated myocardial perfusion imaging(G-MPI) to assess the clinical value of Xinmailong injection in chronic congestive heart failure(CHF).METHODS: A total of 102 CHF patients were randomly divided into the control group(n=51) and the Xinmailong group(n=51). Patients in the control group were routinely treated. Patients in the Xinmailong group were additionally treated with Xinmailong injection in addition to routine treatment. Before and 3 months after treatment, G-MPI was used to determine changes in the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF), left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV) and left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV). Fourteen days after treatment, changes in plasma brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) levels were determined.RESULTS: Before treatment, there were no significant differences in LVEF, LVEDV, LVESV, and BNP levels between the two groups(all P>0.05). After treatment, LVEDV, LVESV, and BNP levels were significantly lower, and LVEF was significantly higher in the Xinmailong group than in the control group(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Additional use of Xinmailong injection in addition to routine treatment improves cardiac function of CHF patients. | 11 | Lineage tracing of direct astrocyte-to-neuron conversion in the mouse cortex显示文摘Regenerating functional new neurons in the adult mammalian central nervous system has been proven to be very challenging due to the inability of neurons to divide and repopulate themselves after neuronal loss.Glial cells,on the other hand,can divide and repopulate themselves under injury or diseased conditions.We have previously reported that ectopic expression of NeuroD1 in dividing glial cells can directly convert them into neurons.Here,using astrocytic lineage-tracing reporter mice(Aldh1l1-CreERT2 mice crossing with Ai14 mice),we demonstrate that lineage-traced astrocytes can be successfully converted into NeuNpositive neurons after expressing NeuroD1 through adeno-associated viruses.Retroviral expression of NeuroD1 further confirms that dividing glial cells can be converted into neurons.Importantly,we demonstrate that for in vivo cell conversion study,using a safe level of adeno-associated virus dosage(10^10–10^12 gc/mL,1μL)in the rodent brain is critical to avoid artifacts caused by toxic dosage,such as that used in a recent bioRxiv study(2×10^13 gc/mL,1μL,mouse cortex).For therapeutic purpose under injury or diseased conditions,or for non-human primate studies,adeno-associated virus dosage needs to be optimized through a series of dose-finding experiments.Moreover,for future in vivo gliato-neuron conversion studies,we recommend that the adeno-associated virus results are further verified with retroviruses that mainly express transgenes in dividing glial cells in order to draw solid conclusions.The study was approved by the Laboratory Animal Ethics Committee of Jinan University,China(approval No.IACUC-20180330-06)on March 30,2018. | Zongqin Xiang Liang Xu Minhui Liu Qingsong Wang Wen Li Wenliang Lei Gong Chen | 2021 | Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,4: | 9 |

| 14 | Seasonal and reproductive variation in chemical constituents of scent signals in wild giant pandas显示文摘Seasonally reproducing animals show many behavioral and physiological changes during the mating period, including increased signaling for intrasexual competition and mate attraction. We collected 102 anogenital gland secretions(AGS) from marking trees in Foping Nature Reserve, and used gas chromatography mass spectrometry to analyze these chemical composition. Of these marks, all but one were from males, confirmed with DNA analysis. We found that several chemical constituents, especially volatile compounds, were present only during the mating season and that the relative abundance of many compounds changed as a function of breeding season, whereas nonvolatile compounds were lower in the mating season. This seasonal variation in chemical composition of AGS most likely plays an important role in governing giant panda reproduction, including mate location, attraction, and male-male competition. The chemical properties of many of these putative chemosignals—such as volatility and longevity—are suggestive of these roles, and undoubtedly contribute to successful reproduction for this species with a characteristically sophisticated chemical communication system. An Interpulse Costas hopping and intra-pulse Slope coded linearly frequency modulated(IPC-SCLFM) waveform is designed and analyzed to decrease the autocorrelation and cross-correlation noise. Besides a novel acquisition mode of 'MIMO Coprime SAR'(MIMO-Cop SAR) is proposed with Coprime arrays(Co-arrays) in receive across the SAR line of flight based on digital beamforming. An improved processing by multiplying values at each pixel of two coarrays images is proposed to suppress the cross-correlation noise. MIMO-Cop SAR can effectively suppress the crosscorrelation noise, reduce the amount of data to be stored and get high signal-to-noise ratio in a simple way. | 18 | Mapping Detailed Soil Property Using Small Scale Soil Type Maps and Sparse Typical Samples显示文摘Soil type maps at the scale of 1︰1 000 000 are used extensively to provide soil spatial distribution information for soil erosion assessment and watershed management models in China.However,the soil property maps produced through conventional direct linking method usually suffer low accuracy as well as the lack of spatial details within a soil type polygon.This paper presents an effective method to produce detailed soil property map based on representative samples which were extracted from each polygon on the 1︰1000 000 soil type map.The representative sample of each polygon is defined as the location that can represent the largest area within the polygon.The representativeness of a candidate sample is determined by calculating the soil-forming environment condition similarities between the sample and other locations.Once the representative sample of each polygon has been chosen,the property values of the existing typical samples are assigned to the corresponding representative samples with the same soil type.Finally,based on these representative samples,the detailed soil property map could be produced by using existing digital soil mapping methods.The case study in XuanCheng City,Anhui Province of China,demonstrated the proposed method could produce soil property map at a higher level of spatial details and accuracy:1)The soil organic matter(SOM)map produced based on the representative samples can not only depict the detailed spatial distribution of SOM within a soil type polygon but also largely reduce the abrupt change of soil property at the boundaries of two adjacent polygons.2)The Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE)of the SOM map based on the representative samples is1.61,and it is 1.37 for the SOM map produced by using conventional direct linking method.Therefore,the proposed method is an effective approach to produce spatial detailed soil property map with higher accuracy for environment simulation models. | ZHANG Shujie ZHU Axing LIU Wenliang LIU Jing YANG Lin | 2013 | Chinese Geographical Science2013,23,6: | 2 |
| 19 | Achieving high conversion of syngas to aromatics显示文摘Realizing high CO conversion and high aromatics selectivity simultaneously in syngas-to-aromatics(STA)reaction is still challenging.Herein,we report a 57.5%CO conversion along with 74%aromatics selectivity over a composite catalyst consisting of Fe/ZnCr_(2)O_(4)(Fe modified ZnCr_(2)O_(4)spinel)oxide and H-ZSM-5 zeolite.Impregnation of only 3 wt%of Fe onto ZnCr_(2)O_(4)can remarkably increase CO conversion without sacrificing the aromatics selectivity.Oxygen vacancy concentration is improved after impregnating Fe.The highly dispersed iron carbide species is formed during the reaction over Fe/ZnCr_(2)O_(4)spinel oxide.The synergistic effect of oxygen vacancy and iron carbide results in a rapid formation of abundant oxygenated intermediate species,which can be continuously transformed to aromatics in H-ZSM-5.This study provides a new insight into the design of highly efficient catalyst for syngas conversion. | Yi Fu Youming Ni Zhiyang Chen Wenliang Zhu Zhongmin Liu | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3: | 2 |
