1Effect of auricular pressing treatment on myopia in children显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of pressing auricular points on myopia in children.METHODS:Myopic children aged 8-9 years were divided into two groups.The Chinese herb Semen Vaccariae was used to stimulate the auricular points of CO_(10),LO_5,TF_4,CO_(15),CO_(12),and CO_(13) for three treatment courses for the experimental group(n =39),while the same therapy was not given to the control group(n = 33).Binocular naked vision of the experimental group and the control group before and after the intervention was measured using a standard E visual acuity chart.RESULTS:There was no difference in the binocular naked vision between the experimental group and the control group before the intervention.In contrast,there was significant improvement in binocular naked vision in the experimental group after the intervention compared with the control group(P <0.05).CONCLUSION:When combined with external medical application,non-invasive auricular therapy could improve the function of myopia in children.Auricular pressing was well received by the children.Li Yachan Zhang Ou Liang Wenna Li Candong 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,3:10

3Lichong decoction inhibits micro-angiogenesis by reducing the expressions of hypoxia inducible factor-1αand vascular endothelial growth factor in hysteromyoma mouse model显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Lichong decoction(LD)from Traditional Chinese Medicine,on micro-angiogenesis in a mouse model of hysteromyoma.METHODS:A mouse model of hysteromyoma was developed by orthotopic intrauterine injection of primary human myoma cells isolated from patients from the Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital into CB-17 Scid mice.Mice were administered high-dose LD,low-dose LD,mifepristone or water(control)daily by gavage for 4 weeks.Uterine diameter and coefficient(uterine weight/body weight)were measured.Uterine morphology was assessed by light microscopy(hematoxylin and eosin)and transmission electron microscopy.Serum levels of estradiol,progesterone,follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone(LH)were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Uterine protein expression of hypoxia inducible factor(HIF)-1α,CD31 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)was detected by immunohistochemistry.VEGF and HIF-1αm RNAs were quantified by RT-PCR.RESULTS:High-dose LD,low-dose LD and mifepristone reduced uterine diameter and coefficient,and attenuated the morphologic abnormalities associated with hysteromyoma.High-dose LD,low-dose LD and mifepristone inhibited hysteromyoma-induced micro-angiogenesis,as evidenced by a decrease in the number of new microvessels co-immunostaining for CD31 and PCNA(P<0.01).High-dose LD and mifepristone lowered serum levels of estradiol,progesterone and LH(P<0.05).High-dose LD,low-dose LD and mifepristone down-regulated HIF-1αm RNA and protein expressions and VEGF m RNA expression(P<0.01).CONCLUSION:The inhibition of hysteromyoma by LD may involve reductions in HIF-1αand VEGF expression and suppression of micro-angiogenesis.Wang Wenna Zhang Wufang Li Donghua Qian Ruiya Zhu Lijuan Liu Yu Chen Chao 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6:6
4A Combining Call Admission Control and Power Control Scheme for D2D Communications Underlaying Cellular Networks显示文摘As device-to-device(D2D) communications usually reuses the resource of cellular networks, call admission control(CAC) and power control are crucial problems. However in most power control schemes, total data rates or throughput are regarded as optimization criterion. In this paper, a combining call admission control(CAC) and power control scheme under guaranteeing QoS of every user equipment(UE) is proposed. First, a simple CAC scheme is introduced. Then based on the CAC scheme, a combining call admission control and power control scheme is proposed. Next, the performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated. Finally, maximum DUE pair number and average transmitting power is calculated. 5A Text Zero-Watermarking Algorithm Based on Chinese Phonetic Alphabets显示文摘The text watermarking is a feasible method to protect the copyright from being copied and tampered. In this paper, a text zero-watermarking algorithm is proposed based on the connection between the Chinese characters and the Chinese phonetic alphabets. According to the predefined interval threshold, the proposed algorithm extracts the characteristics of the text content by valuing on the basis of the custom of Chinese phonetic alphabets. After being chaotic transformed, the algorithm combines the text characteristics with the embedded watermarking information in the Chinese text. 6A novel miRNA negatively regulates resistance to Glomerella leaf spot by suppressing expression of an NBS gene in apple显示文摘Glomerella leaf spot(GLS)of apple(Malus×domestica Borkh.),caused by Glomerella cingulata,is an emerging fungal epidemic threatening the apple industry.Little is known about the molecular mechanism underlying resistance to this devastating fungus.In this study,high-throughput sequencing technology was used to identify microRNAs(miRNAs)involved in GLS resistance in apple.We focused on miRNAs that target genes related to disease and found that expression of a novel miRNA,Md-miRln20,was higher in susceptible apple varieties than in resistant ones.Furthermore,its target gene Md-TN1-GLS exhibited the opposite expression pattern,which suggested that the expression levels of Md-miRln20 and its target gene are closely related to apple resistance to GLS.Furthermore,downregulation of MdmiRln20 in susceptible apple leaves resulted in upregulation of Md-TN1-GLS and reduced the disease incidence.Conversely,overexpression of Md-miRln20 in resistant apple leaves suppressed Md-TN1-GLS expression,with increased disease incidence.We demonstrated that Md-miRln20 negatively regulates resistance to GLS by suppressing Md-TN1-GLS expression and showed,for the first time,a crucial role for miRNA in response to GLS in apple.Yi Zhang Qiulei Zhang Li Hao Shengnan Wang Shengyuan Wang Wenna Zhang Chaoran Xu Yunfei Yu Tianzhong Li 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:4
7Effect of Chaihushugan San on expression of the Raf/mitogen-activated protein kinase/extracellular signal-regulated kinase pathway in the hippocampi of perimenopausal rats induced by immobilization stress显示文摘OBJECTIVE: We wished to study the impact of Chaihushugan San(CSS) on the behavior of perimenopausal rats with liver-Qi stagnation(LQS) and to investigate the effect of CSS on signal transduction of the Raf/mitogen-activated protein kinase(MEK)/extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK) cascade in the hippocampi of rats induced by immobilization.METHODS: Twenty 52-week-old female rats were divided into two groups by the random number table method: model control group(MCG) and CSS group(CSSG), with 10 rats in each group.Ten-week-old female rats were used as the normal control group(NCG). CSS effects were assessed using rats exposed to immobilization stress by measuring body weight and sucrose consumption, serum hormone levels, and observing performance in the open field test(OFT). Molecular mechanisms were examined by measuring the effect of CSS on expression of Raf1, MEK1/2 and ERK1/2 m RNA in hippocampi using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and by measuring levels of these proteins and related phospho-proteins using Western blotting.RESULTS: Perimenopausal rats with LQS had decreased locomotor activity; reduced sucrose consumption; and increased serum levels of corticotropin releasing hormone(CRH) and corticosterone(CORT). Activation of hippocampal Raf/MEK/ERK cascade was suppressed significantly in the MCG,and activation was increased after 21 days of CSS treatment.CONCLUSION: CSS has significant effects upon relief of the symptoms of LQS in immobilization-induced rats. 9Identification of hub genes and their novel diagnostic and prognostic significance in pancreatic adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective:The main reasons for the poor prognoses of pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PA)patients are rapid early-stage progression,advanced stage metastasis,and chemotherapy resistance.Identification of novel diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers of PA is therefore urgently needed.Methods:Three mRNA microarray datasets were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus database to select differentially expressed genes(DEGs).Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analyses for hub genes were performed using DAVID.Correlations between expression levels of hub genes and cancer-infiltrating immune cells were investigated by TIMER.Cox proportional hazard regression analyses were also performed.Serum hub genes were screened using the HPA platform and verified for diagnostic value using ELISAs.Results:We identified 59 hub genes among 752 DEGs.GO analysis indicated that these 59 hub genes were mainly involved in the defense response to viruses and the type I interferon signaling pathway.We also discovered that RSAD2 and SMC4 were associated with immune cell infiltration in the PA microenvironment.Additionally,DLGAP5 mRNA might be used as an independent risk factor for the prognoses of PA patients.Furthermore,the protein encoded by ISG15,which exists in peripheral blood,was validated as a potential diagnostic biomarker that distinguished PA patients from healthy controls(area under the curve:0.902,95%confidence interval:0.819–0.961).Conclusions:Our study suggested that RSAD2 and SMC4 were associated with immune cell infiltration in the PA microenvironment,while DLGAP5 mRNA expression might be an independent risk factor for the survival prognoses of PA patients.Moreover,ELISAs indicated that serum ISG15 could be a potential novel diagnostic biomarker for PA.Duo Zuo Yongzi Chen Xinwei Zhang Zhuozhi Wang Wenna Jiang Fan Tang Runfen Cheng Yi Sun Lu Sun Li Ren Rui Liu 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,7:1

12The molecular tumor burden index as a response evaluation criterion in breast cancer显示文摘Circulating tumor DNA(ctDNA)is a potential biomarker of prognosis and therapeutic response.We conducted this study to explore the role of the molecular tumor burden index(mTBI)in ctDNA as a therapeutic response and prognostic biomarker in a larger cohort prospective phase III randomized multicenter study.We collected 291 plasma samples from 125 metastatic breast cancer patients from the CAMELLIA study(NCT01917279).Target-capture deep sequencing of 1021 genes was performed to detect somatic variants in ctDNA from the plasma samples.The pretreatment mTBI value was correlated with tumor burden(P=0.025).Patients with high-level pretreatment mTBI had shorter overall survival than patients with low-level pretreatment mTBI,and the median overall survival was 40.9 months and 68.4 months,respectively(P=0.011).Patients with mTBI decrease to less than 0.02%at the first tumor evaluation had longer progression-free survival and overall survival(P<0.001 and P=0.007,respectively).The mTBI has good sensitivity to identify complete response/partial response and progressive disease based on computed tomography scans(88.5%and 87.5%,respectively).The patients classified as molecular responders had longer progression-free survival and overall survival than the nonmolecular responders in the overall cohort(P<0.001 and P=0.036,respectively),as well as in the cohort in which computed tomography scans were defined as representing stable disease(P=0.027 and P=0.015,respectively).The mTBI in ctDNA detected in liquid biopsies is a potential biomarker of therapeutic response and prognosis in patients with metastatic breast cancer.Zongbi Yi Fei Ma Guohua Rong Binliang Liu Yanfang Guan Jin Li Xiaoying Sun Wenna Wang Xiuwen Guan Hongnan Mo Jiani Wang Haili Qian Binghe Xu 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,8:1
13High-performance supercapacitors based on free-standing SiC@PEDOT nanowires with robust cycling stability显示文摘Conductive polymers as one of the candidate materials with pseudocapacitor behavior have inspired wide attentions,because of their high conductivity,fexibility,low cost and excellent processability.However,the intrinsically poor cycling stability induced by the volume change over the doping/dedoping redox process limits their practical applications.Herein,we report the exploration of electrodes with robust cycling capacity for supercapacitors(SCs),which are rationally designed by coating conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT)around free-standing SiC nanowires using an all-dry oxidative chemical vaper deposition(oCVD)method.The as-constructed SiC@PEDOT nanowire architecture enables a specific capacitance of 26.53 m F/cm^(2)at 0.2 m A/cm^(2),which is~370%to that of SiC nanowire counterpart(7.04 m F/cm^(2)).Moreover,their aqueous-based SCs exhibit robust cycling stability with104%capacity retention after 10000 cycles,which is among the highest values achieved for PEDOTbased SCs.Wenna Liu Xiaoxiao Li Weijun Li Yumin Ye Hong Wang Peipei Su Weiyou Yang Ya Yang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:1
14Genome-wide characterization of graft-transmissible mRNA-coding P450 genes of cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)显示文摘P450(cytochrome P450)is a supergene family,which is involved in various metabolic pathways in plants.Based on previous study,we found some of cucumber P450 mRNAs were systemic mobile in cucumber/pumpkin grafts.However,the reason that why P450 mRNAs were endorsed as signaling,and what specific motif(s)did they harbored is not clear yet.Here,we first identified 221 CsaP450 genes in cucumber genomewide level.Combining with graft-transmissiblemRNAs datasets in cucumber,we elucidated 15mobile-CsaP450-coding genes,of which 5 and 10 belonged to A-type and non-A type respectively.Compared with Arabidopsis and pumpkin(Cucubit moschata)graft-induced-transmissible P450 mRNAs,a phylogenetic treewas constructed and divided into eight clans by usingmultiple-sequence alignment.Gene ontology(GO)enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)annotations indicated that the expression patterns of the mobile-mRNA-coding CsaP450 genes in different tissues of cucumber was specifically enriched in oxidoreductase activity and secondary metabolic pathways.The structures and motifs of these 15 mobile-mRNA-coding CsaP450 genes and their types of regulatory elements told that the proportion of CU-rich motifs was higher than nonmobile-mRNA-coding CsaP450 genes.The integrated analysis of mobility direction and mRNA abundance of 15 mobilemRNA-coding CsaP450 genes allowed to conclude that there was rarely relationship between them.The study provided a new insight into the relationship between the motifs and functional characterization of mobile-mRNA-coding P450 genes of cucumber in genome-wide levels.Tao Wang Xiaohong Lu Chenggang Xiang Xiaojun Li Wenqian Liu QingWang Zixi Liu Lihong Gao Wenna Zhang 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,2:1

19Key nodes of the trust transitivity in social Internet of things显示文摘The trustee and the trustor may have no previous interaction. So,intermediate nodes trusted by both the trustor and the trustee are selected to transit trust between them. But only a few intermediate nodes are key nodes which can significantly affect the transitivity of trust. To the best of our knowledge,there are no algorithms for finding key nodes of the trust transitivity. To solve this problem,the concept of trust is presented,and a comprehensive model of the transitivity of trust is provided. Then,the key nodes search( KNS) algorithm is proposed to find out the key nodes of the trust transitivity. 20Based on network pharmacology to explore the mechanism of nephrotoxicity of Xanthii Fructus显示文摘Objective:To explore the potential mechanism of nephrotoxicity induced by Xanthii Fructus(XF)through network pharmacology.Methods:The active ingredients and targets of XF were screened through Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database,PubChem Database and Swiss Target Prediction Database,and the related pathogenic genes of nephrotoxicity were downloaded from Genecards,pharmGKB and OMIM databases.The potential target is the intersection of XF and the pathogenic gene of nephrotoxicity.Cytoscape software was used to construct a network of“XF-Potential active ingredient-Target-Nephrotoxicity network”.Protein protein interaction(PPI)network was constructed by String database,and the data was analyzed and sorted out to obtain the key active components and core target proteins of XF.GO functional enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis of key target proteins were performed by R software.Results:11 active components,167 targets,6839 nephrotoxicity related pathogenic genes and 139 intersection target genes were screened from XF.After constructing the network of“XF-Potential active ingredient-target-nephrotoxicity network”and PPI network,the key active ingredients of XF were identified as Moupinamide,Beta-sitosterol and Stigmasterol,and the core target proteins were CASP3,HSP90AA1 and TP53.There were 2072 GO entries(P<0.05),including 1876 Biological Process(BP),64 Cellular Component(CC)and 132 Molecular Function(MF).KEGG enrichment analysis revealed 138 pathways(P<0.05),mainly involving p53 signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway,PI3K-Akt signaling pathway were strongly correlated with the nephrotoxicity of XF.Conclusion:The core target protein of XF HSP90AA1,CASP3 and TP53 participate in p53 signaling Pathway,PI3K-Akt signaling Pathway,IL-17 signaling Pathway and other pathways to regulate apoptosis and induce inflammatory responses,resulting in kidney damage.Tao Chen Tengda Li Wenna Zhang Yulin Song Yuman Tang Rui Gong Hua Jin 2022Asian Toxicology Tesearch2022,4,1:0
