| 1 | Effects of electroacupuncture on microcirculatory blood flow and glucose transporter function in the hippocampus显示文摘Nerve cell metabolism in post brain ischemia depends on increased microcirculation perfusion and transport function of microvascular endothelial cells.In the present study,a rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion was established to investigate the influence of electroacupuncture(EA) on hippocampal CA1 cerebral blood flow and glucose transporter 1(GLUT1) expression in the microvascular endothelial cells.Following EA at Neiguan(PC 6),the cerebral blood flow in the ischemic hippocampal CA1 region was significantly elevated,the number and microvascular integrated absorbance of the GLUT1-positive cells were significantly increased,nerve cell damage was ameliorated,and GLUT1 protein expression in the ischemic hippocampus was significantly increased.Results demonstrate that EA increased the cerebral blood flow of the hippocampal CA1 region and improved the glucose transport function,thereby attenuating neuronal injuries. | Lu, Yan Han, Bingbing Wang, Shijun | 2011 | Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3: | 6 |
| 2 | Hybrid speciation via inheritance of alternate alleles of parental isolating genes显示文摘It is increasingly realized that homoploid hybrid speciation(HHS),which involves no change in chromosome number,is an important mechanism of speciation.HHS will likely increase in frequency as ecological and geographical barriers between species are continuing to be disrupted by human activities.HHS requires the establishment of reproductive isolation between a hybrid and its parents,but the underlying genes and genetic mechanisms remain largely unknown.In this study,we reveal by integrated approaches that reproductive isolation originates in one homoploid hybrid plant species through the inheritance of altemate alleles at genes that determine parental premating isolation.The parent species of this hybrid species are reproductively isolated by differences in flowering time and survivorship on soils containing high concentrations of iron.We found that the hybrid species inherits alleles of parental isolating major genes related to flowering time from one parent and alleles of major genes related to iron tolerance from the other parent.In this way,it became reproductively isolated from one parent by the difference in flowering time and from the other by habitat adaptation(iron tolerance).These findings and further modeling results suggest that HHS may occur relatively easily via the inheritance of alternate parental premating isolating genes and barriers. | Zefu Wang Yuanzhong Jiang Hao Bi Zhiqiang Lu Yazhen Ma Xiaoyue Yang Ningning Chen Bin Tian Bingbing Liu Xingxing Mao Tao Ma Stephen P.DiFazio Quanjun Hu Richard J.Abbott Jianquan Liu | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,2: | 4 |
| 3 | Novel hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites for dramatically enhanced electromagnetic absorbing properties显示文摘In order to prevent the microwave leakage and mutual interference,more and more microwave absorbing devices are added into the design of electronic products to ensure its routine operation.In this work,we have successfully prepared MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) hierarchical composites by one-pot hydrothermal method and focused on the relationship between structures and electromagnetic absorbing properties.Supported by comprehensive characterizations,M0S_(2) nanosheets were proved to be anchored on the surface and interlayer of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) through a hydrothermal process.Additionally,TiO_(2) nanoparticles were obtained in situ.Due to these hierarchical structures,the MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites showed greatly enhanced microwave absorbing performance.The MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites exhibit a maximum reflection loss value of -33.5 dB at 10.24 GHz and the effective absorption bandwidth covers 3.1GHz(13.9-17 GHz)at the thickness of 1.0 mm,implying the features of wide frequency and light weight.This work in the hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites opens a promising door to the exploration of constructing extraordinary electromagnetic wave absorbents. | Heng DU Qipeng ZHANG Biao ZHAO Frank MARKEN Qiancheng GAO Hongxia LU Li GUAN Hailong WANG Gang SHAO Hongliang XU Rui ZHANG Bingbing FAN | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,5: | 4 |

However, the mechanism of capacity fading for NASICON-structured electrode materials has been rarely studied. In this paper, we synthesized the NASICON-structured Na3V2(PO4)3/C composite by simple sol-gel and high-temperature solid-phase method and investigated its electrochemical performance in Na-Zn hybrid aqueous rechargeable batteries. After characterizing the structure, morphology and composition variations as well as the interfacial resistance changes of Na3V2(PO4)3/C cathode during cycling, we propose a mechanical and interfacial degradation mechanism for capacity fading of NASICON-structured Na3V2(PO4)3/C in Na-Zn hybrid aqueous rechargeable batteries. | 5 | (Ca,Sr,Ba)ZrO_(3):A promising entropy-stabilized ceramic for titanium alloys smelting显示文摘A novel entropy-stabilized(ES)(Ca,Sr,Ba)ZrO_(3) ceramic has been designed and synthesized by pressureless sintering of CaZr03,SrZr03 and BaZr03 powders mixtures at 1450℃,1500℃and 1550℃for 3 h.X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy analyses collectively indicate that a single solid solution is formed with a homogeneous distribution of metal elements after sintering at 1550℃.The relative density and hardness of the ES(Ca,Sr,Ba)ZrO_(3) ceramic sintered at 1550℃are 97.79%and 10.840.33 GPa,re s pectively.This ES(Ca,Sr,Ba)ZrO_(3) exhibits lower thermal conductivity from 373 K to 1073 K than their constituting zirconates,CaZrO_(3),SrZrO_(3) and BaZrO_(3).Most importantly,the ES(Ca,Sr,Ba)ZrO_(3) ceramic possesses good corrosion resistance to TiNi alloy melt and no distinct reaction layer exists between TiNi alloy and ES(Ca,Sr,Ba)ZrO_(3) ceramic in the contact region.The combination of these properties indicates that ES(Ca,Sr,Ba)ZrO_(3) ceramic is promising for use as a novel crucible material for the melting of titanium alloys. | Shuaihang Qiu Mingliang Li Gang Shao Hailong Wang Jinpeng Zhu Wen Liu Bingbing Fan Hongliang Xu Hongxia Lu Yanchun Zhou Rui Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,6: | 3 |
| 6 | High-risk phenotypes of genetic disease in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit population显示文摘To the Editor: Genetic diseases contribute to 35% of deaths during the first year of life and are a significant cause of intensive care.[1] A previous study based on the China Neonatal Genomes Project investigated the genetic causes of early infant deaths and found that >25% of deceased neonates with genetic diagnoses can be cured if diagnosed in time.[2] Therefore, it is crucial to target and diagnose neonates with genetic diseases as early as possible. According to our experience, the typical phenotypes, such as special facial features or multiple congenital anomalies (MCAs), indicate a high risk of genetic disease and lead physicians to perform genetic testing in neonates as early as possible. However, in practice, infants without typical phenotypes typically undergo a long and costly diagnostic process before genetic diagnoses are confirmed. Moreover, a recent survey by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) and other national professional organizations indicated that there are insufficient numbers of qualified geneticists to fulfil genetic service needs.[3] The ACMG published the general clinical features for genetic testing indications. For example, patients with phenotypes or family history data that strongly implicate a genetic cause may undergo genetic testing.[1] However, the study indicated that many genetic conditions arise de novo or are inherited with no family history.[1] A previous study attempted to apply the non-phenotype-driven panel approach in neonates admitted to the neonate intensive care unit (NICU).[4] However, at present, the diagnostic yield is only 3.45% (1/29).[4] In addition, the economic and ethical issues associated with genomic screening remain challenging. | 7 | Elucidating the operating behavior of PEM fuel cell with nickel foam as cathode flow field显示文摘Metal foam material,which serves as an alternative replacement of the conventional flow distributor of proton exchange membrane(PEM)fuel cell,has been attracting much attention over last few decades.In this work,three-dimensional modeling work for PEM fuel cell containing metal foam as cathode flow distributor has been carried out.The fuel cell performance and operating characteristics of metal foam flow field and conventional parallel flow channel have been compared and discussed.The cell performance has been reasonably validated based on the corresponding experimental tests conducted in this study.The superior performance of PEM fuel cell with metal foam as cathode flow field benefits a lot from the uniform gas flow.The porous metal foam material provides more pathways for the water delivery at the interface of metal foam flow field and gas diffusion layer(GDL),accelerating water removal capability of cathode.Because of the significant oxygen transfer loss in diffusion limited parallel channel,the operation of PEM fuel cell with parallel channel is found to be more sensitive to cathode humidification and oxygen supply at inlet.Due to the more uniform and effective electron transport though the porous electrode,it is possible to use thinner GDL in metal foam PEM fuel cell.It is expected that this study could give a good baseline of operating behavior of PEM fuel cell with metal foam flow distributor. | HUO Sen SHI WeiYu WANG RenFang LU BingBing WANG Yang JIAO Kui HOU ZhongJun | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,5: | 2 |

| 9 | Effects of Partial Replacement of Chemical Fertilizer by Bio-organic Fertilizer Kunyijian on Yield and Quality of Tobacco Leaves显示文摘To explore the application effect of bio-organic fertilizer Kunyijian in flue-cured tobacco and provide scientific basis for its application in production,a plot trial was conducted with K326,a flue-cured tobacco variety,in the Science and Technology Test Base of Xundian County,Yunnan.Taking local fertilizer consumption(control 1)and 70%local fertilizer consumption(control 2)as controls,the following replacement groups were designed:under uniformly replacement 70%local fertilizer consumption,(i)organic fertilizer∶microbial agent=80∶1(kg),+600 kg/ha,+900 kg/ha,+1200 kg/ha,+1500 kg/ha Kunyijian;(ii)organic fertilizer∶microbial agent=40∶1(kg),+900 kg/ha Kunyijian.The results show that in the treatment of 70%local fertilizer consumption+1200 kg/ha Kunyijian[organic fertilizer∶microbial agent=80∶1(kg)],the comprehensive performance of flue-cured tobacco was significantly better than that in the control groups,the yield of tobacco leaves reached 2237.1 kg/ha,the output value was 45505.2 yuan/ha,and the average price of the tobacco leaves was 20.53 yuan/kg.The performance of flue-cured tobacco in the treatment of 70%local fertilizer consumption+1500 kg/ha Kunyijian ranked second.The performance of other fertilization treatments was not good,but it did not differ significantly from that of control 1.In terms of chemical composition of tobacco leaves,partial replacement of chemical fertilizer by bio-organic fertilizer Kunyijian,was beneficial to increase the sugar content and reduce the nicotine and total nitrogen contents in tobacco leaves,especially the treatment of 70%local fertilizer consumption+900 kg/ha Kunyijian[organic fertilizer∶microbial agent=80∶1(kg)],and it was also beneficial to increase the chlorine content in tobacco leaves,especially the treatment of 70%local fertilizer consumption+1500 kg/ha Kunyijian[organic fertilizer∶microbial agent=80∶1(kg)].Therefore,it is feasible to use the bio-organic fertilizer Kunyijian to replace 30%of chemical fertilizer in tobacco production.The rate is recommended to be 900-1500 kg/ha[organic fertilizer∶microbial agent=80∶1(kg)].It is suggested to further strengthen the demonstration and promotion of Kunyijian. | Folin LI Bingbing LU Lina YANG Ronghui YANG Facong QIAN Xingyang XU Jie LI | 2020 | Asian Agricultural Research2020,12,3: | 1 |

| 14 | Decoration of C_(60) nanorods with nickel and their magnetic properties显示文摘We studied the coating of C60 nanorods with nickel by electroless plating method and investigated their magnetic properties. The morphology and structure of the nickel layer coated on C60 nanorods were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. The coated nickel is in the form of nano-sized crystals and becomes a continuous layer as reaction time increases. The hysteresis loop shows a super paramagnetic characteristic similar to that of nanometer-sized nickel particle. These results suggest that the average size of nickel particles on C60 rods is below 10 nm. | 15 | Aldosterone dysregulation predicts the risk of mortality and rehospitalization in heart failure with a preserved ejection fraction显示文摘Serum aldosterone is associated with cardiac remodeling,which contributes to morbidity and mortality in heart failure(HF);however,the prognostic value of aldosterone in HF with a preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF)is unclear.We used liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry to quantify serum aldosterone in 873 patients with HFpEF in a Registry Study of Biomarkers for HF.The retrospective study was conducted at Beijing Anzhen Hospital from May 2017 to October 2019.The primary endpoint was a composite of all-cause mortality and rehospitalization for HF.Aldosterone concentrations in patients with and without events were 124.22 pmol L^(-1)(interquartile range(IQR):48.62–256.20)and 96.33 pmol L^(-1)(IQR:37.33–215.76),respectively(P=0.023).Aldosterone independently predicted all-cause mortality(adjusted hazard ratio(aHR),1.55;95%confidence interval(95%CI),1.06–2.27;P=0.024)and the primary endpoint(a HR,1.43;95%CI,1.11–1.85;P=0.006).Patients with high aldosterone concentrations were at higher risk of concentric remodeling(adjusted odds ratio(aOR),1.45;95%CI,1.03–2.04;P=0.034).Patients with high aldosterone and B-type natriuretic peptide concentrations were at a higher risk of the primary endpoint(hazard ratio(HR),1.85;95%CI,1.29–2.66;P=0.001).We conclude that elevated aldosterone is associated with a risk of rehospitalization with HF and all-cause mortality in patients with HFpEF. | Bingbing Ke Xin Tan Lu Ren Yangkai Fan Yixin Zhang Fengjuan Li Qiqi Sun Tong Liu Lixin Jia Yuan Wang Jie Du | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3: | 1 |

| 20 | Structure, mechanical and thermal properties of BMI/E-44/CNTs ternary composites via amination method显示文摘Multi-walled carbon nanotubes(CNTs) were modified by an amination treatment with hexamethylenediamine(HMD), and then bismaleimide(BMI)/epoxy(E-44)/CNTs ternary composites were prepared using modified CNTs as the reinforcement via a simple mixing and curing molding method. The results show that the surfaces of CNTs are grafted polymer with the thickness of 3 nm and the dispersity of surface grafted carbon nanotubes(SG-CNTs) in the resin composites can be improved. The prepared composites contain C-C, C-N, C=O and-COOH groups and can keep a smooth surface. In addition, the composites have the flexural strength of 152 MPa, the tensile strength of 73 MPa and the impact strength of 87 k J m^(-2),respectively, when the weight ratio of BMI to E-44 is 1:8 and the content of SG-CNTs is 2 wt%.
