| 3 | P-E hysteresis loop going slim in Ba0.3Sr0.7TiO3-modified Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3 ceramics for energy storage applications显示文摘(Ba0.3Sr0.7)x(Bi0.5Na0.5)1-xTiO3(BSxBNT,x=0.3–V0.8)ceramics were prepared to investigate their structure,dielectric and ferroelectric properties.BSxBNT ceramics possess pure perovskite structure accompanied from a tetragonal symmetry to pseudo-cubic one with the increase of x value,being confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Raman results.The Tm corresponding to a temperature in the vicinity of maximum dielectric constant gradually decreases from 110℃(x=0.3)to-45℃(x=0.8),across Tm=36℃(x=0.5)with a maximum dielectric constant(ɛr=5920@1 kHz)around room temperature.The saturated polarization Ps gradually while the remnant polarization Pr sharply decreases with the increase of x value,making the P-E hysteresis loop of BSxBNT ceramics goes slim.A maximum difference between Ps and Pr(Ps-Pr)is obtained for BSxBNT ceramics with x=0.5,at which a high recoverable energy density(Wrec=1.04 J/cm3)is achieved under an applied electric field of 100 kV/cm with an efficiency ofη=77%.Meanwhile,the varied temperature P-E loops,fatigue measurements,and electric breakdown characteristics for the sample with x=0.5 indicate that it is promising for pulsed power energy storage capacitor candidate materials. | Dongxu LI Zong-Yang SHEN Zhipeng LI Wenqin LUO Xingcai WANG Zhumei WANG Fusheng SONG Yueming LI | 2020 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,2: | 8 |
| 4 | Remarkably enhanced dielectric stability and energy storage properties in BNT–BST relaxor ceramics by A-site defect engineering for pulsed power applications显示文摘Lead-free bulk ceramics for advanced pulsed power capacitors show relatively low recoverable energy storage density(Wrec)especially at low electric field condition.To address this challenge,we propose an A-site defect engineering to optimize the electric polarization behavior by disrupting the orderly arrangement of A-site ions,in which Ba_(0.105)Na_(0.325)Sr_(0.245−1.5x)□_(0.5x)Bi_(0.325)+xTiO_(3)(BNS_(0.245−1.5x)□_(0.5x)B_(0.325+x)T,x=0,0.02,0.04,0.06,and 0.08)lead-free ceramics are selected as the representative.The BNS_(0.245−1.5x)□_(0.5x)B_(0.325+x)T ceramics are prepared by using pressureless solid-state sintering and achieve large W_(rec)(1.8 J/cm^(3))at a low electric field(@110 kV/cm)when x=0.06.The value of 1.8 J/cm3 is super high as compared to all other W_(rec) in lead-free bulk ceramics under a relatively low electric field(<160 kV/cm).Furthermore,a high dielectric constant of 2930 within 15%fluctuation in a wide temperature range of 40–350℃is also obtained in BNS_(0.245−1.5x)□_(0.5x)B_(0.325+x)T(x=0.06)ceramics.The excellent performances can be attributed to the A-site defect engineering,which can reduce remnant polarization(P_(r))and improve the thermal evolution of polar nanoregions(PNRs).This work confirms that the BNS_(0.245−1.5x)□_(0.5x)B_(0.325+x)T(x=0.06)ceramics are desirable for advanced pulsed power capacitors,and will push the development of a series of Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3(BNT)-based ceramics with high W_(rec) and high-temperature stability. | Zhipeng LI Dong-Xu LI Zong-Yang SHEN Xiaojun ZENG Fusheng SONG Wenqin LUO Xingcai WANG Zhumei WANG Yueming LI | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,2: | 3 |
| 5 | Gene expression profiling under different photoperiod/temperature conditions in a photoperiod-/thermo-sensitive genic male sterile line of rice(Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘Peiai 64S is a photoperiod- and thermo- sensitive genic male sterile (PTSGMS) line of rice, which is male sterile at long day/high temperature and partial fertile at short day/low temperature. A cDNA array representing 3328 unique rice genes was used to profile the gene expression patterns in the young panicles of Peiai 64S under these two condi- tions. The statistical data showed that up to 14.60% of genes exhibited up-or down-regulated expressions in the plants at long day/high temperature compared with plants at short day/low temperature. Only four genes were up-regulated while 482 genes down-regulated. Real-time PCR with all the up-regulated and 9 randomly selected down-regulated genes confirmed the differential expressions detected by the array, indicating that the constructed cDNA array is reliable. These differently expressed genes participated in almost all cell biological responses. Analysis of up- and down-regulated genes revealed distinctive changes between the mRNA abundances of MMK1 and MMK2, both of which are analogs ofMAPK, and significant down-regulation of several transcription factors. | 7 | Extreme Cold Events in North America and Eurasia in November-December 2022: A Potential Vorticity Gradient Perspective显示文摘From 17 November to 27 December 2022, extremely cold snowstorms frequently swept across North America and Eurasia. Diagnostic analysis reveals that these extreme cold events were closely related to the establishment of blocking circulations. Alaska Blocking(AB) and subsequent Ural Blocking(UB) episodes are linked to the phase transition of the North Atlantic Oscillation(NAO) and represent the main atmospheric regimes in the Northern Hemisphere. The downstream dispersion and propagation of Rossby wave packets from Alaska to East Asia provide a large-scale connection between AB and UB episodes. Based on the nonlinear multi-scale interaction(NMI) model, we found that the meridional potential vorticity gradient(PVy) in November and December of 2022 was anomalously weak in the mid-high latitudes from North America to Eurasia and provided a favorable background for the prolonged maintenance of UB and AB events and the generation of associated severe extreme snowstorms. However, the difference in the UB in terms of its persistence,location, and strength between November and December is related to the positive(negative) NAO in November(December). | 12 | Exosomes from young healthy human plasma promote functional recovery from intracerebral hemorrhage via counteracting ferroptotic injury显示文摘Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), as a type of life-threatening and highly disabled disease, has limited therapeutic approaches. Here, we show that exosomes derived from young healthy human plasma exhibiting typical exosomes features could facilitate functional recovery of ICH mice. When these exosomes are intraventricularly delivered into the brain after ICH, they mainly distribute around the hematoma and could be internalized by neuronal cells. Strikingly, exosomes administration markedly enhanced the behavioral recovery of ICH mice through reducing brain injury and cell ferroptosis. MiRNA sequencing revealed that microRNA-25-3p (miR-25- 3p) was differentially expressed miRNA in the exosomes from young healthy human plasma, compared with exosomes from the old control. Importantly, miR-25-3p mimicked the treatment effect of exosomes on behavioral improvement, and mediated the neuroprotective effect of exosomes against ferroptosis in ICH. Furthermore, luciferase assay and western blotting data illustrated that P53 as assumed the role of a downstream effector of miR-25-3p, thereby regulating SLC7A11/GPX4 pathway to counteract ferroptosis. Taken together, these findings firstly reveal that exosomes from young healthy human plasma improve functional recovery through counteracting ferroptotic injury by regulating P53/SLC7A11/GPX4 axis after ICH.
