3Effect of Niobium on Microstructure and Properties of the CoCrFeNb_xNi High Entropy Alloys显示文摘A series of CoCrFeNb_xNi(x values in molar ratio, x = 0, 0.25, 0.45, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0 and 1.2) high entropy alloys(HEAs) was prepared to investigate the alloying effect of Nb on the microstructures and mechanical properties. The results indicate that the prepared CoCrFeNb_xNi(x > 0) HEAs consist of a simple FCC solid solution phase and a Laves phase. The microstructures of the alloys change from an initial single-phase FCC solid solution structure(x = 0) to a hypoeutectic microstructure(x = 0.25), then to a full eutectic microstructure(x = 0.45) and finally to a hypereutectic microstructure(0.5 < x < 1.2). The compressive test results show that the Nb0.45(x = 0.45) alloy with a full eutectic microstructure possesses the highest compressive fracture strength of 2558 MPa and a fracture strain of 27.9%. The CoCrFeNi alloy exhibits an excellent compressive ductility, which can reach 50% height reduction without fracture. The Nb0.25 alloy with a hypoeutectic structure exhibits a larger plastic strain of 34.8%. With the increase of Nb content, increased hard/brittle Laves phase leads to a decrease of the plasticity and increases of the Vickers hardness and the wear resistance. 4Early Permian Tarim Large Igneous Province in northwest China显示文摘Tarim Large Igneous Province(TLIP)is the second Late Paleozoic LIPs in China after the recognition of Emeishan LIP,and is a hot research topic in geosciences.On the basis of the analysis of research history about TLIP,this paper summarizes the research result during last twenty years and suggests the key research area in the future.The residual distribution range of TLIP is up to 250000 km2,and the largest residual thickness is 780 m.The eruption of basalt happened during 290–288 Ma and belongs to LIPs magmatic event with fast eruption of magma.The lithological units of the TLIP include basalt,diabase,layered intrusive rock,breccia pipe mica-olivine pyroxenite,olivine pyroxenite,gabbro,ultramafic dyke,quartz syenite,quartz syenite porphyry and bimodal dyke.The basalt and diabase of TLIP exhibit OIB-like trace element patterns and enrichment of LILE and HFSE,and mainly belong to high TiO2series.There is an obvious difference in isotope among the basalt from Keping and the basalt and dibase from the northern Tarim Basin.The basalt from Keping with negative Nd and high REE value derives from enriched mantle,and the diabase and basalt from the northern Tarim Basin with positive Nd and low REE value are related to depleted mantle.The crust uplifting in the Early Permian and the development of picrite and large scale dyke and formation of large scale V-Ti-Magnetite deposit in Wajilitag area support the view that the TLIP is related to mantle plume.The TLIP has a temporal-spatial relationship with Permian basic to ultra-basic igneous rock,which is distributed widely in Central Asia,and they represent a tectono-magmatic event with very important geodynamic setting.This paper also suggests that the deep geological process,the relation with mantle plume,mineralization,the relation with environmental change and biological evolution,and the geodynamics of the TLIP will be the key research topics in the future.YANG ShuFeng CHEN HanLin LI ZiLong LI YinQi YU Xing LI DongXu MENG LiFeng 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12:12
5Genetic and biological characteristics of the globally circulating H5N8 avian influenza viruses and the protective efficacy offered by the poultry vaccine currently used in China显示文摘The H5N8 avian influenza viruses have been widely circulating in wild birds and are responsible for the loss of over 33 million domestic poultry in Europe, Russia, Middle East, and Asia since January 2020. To monitor the invasion and spread of the H5N8 virus in China, we performed active surveillance by analyzing 317 wild bird samples and swab samples collected from 41,172 poultry all over the country. We isolated 22 H5N8 viruses from wild birds and 14 H5N8 viruses from waterfowls. Genetic analysis indicated that the 36 viruses formed two different genotypes: one genotype viruses were widely detected from different wild birds and domestic waterfowls;the other genotype was isolated from a whopper swan. We further revealed the origin and spatiotemporal spread of these two distinct H5N8 virus genotypes in 2020 and 2021. Animal studies indicated that the H5N8 isolates are highly pathogenic to chickens, mildly pathogenic in ducks, but have distinct pathotypes in mice. Moreover, we found that vaccinated poultry in China could be completely protected against H5N8 virus challenge. 6Task space control of free-floating space robots using constrained adaptive RBF-NTSM显示文摘Trajectory tracking control of space robots in task space is of great importance to space missions,which require on-orbit manipulations.This paper focuses on position and attitude tracking control of a free-floating space robot in task space.Since neither the nonlinear terms and parametric uncertainties of the dynamic model,nor the external disturbances are known,an adaptive radial basis function network based nonsingular terminal sliding mode(RBF-NTSM)control method is presented.The proposed algorithm combines the nonlinear sliding manifold with the radial basis function to improve control performance.Moreover,in order to account for actuator physical constraints,a constrained adaptive RBF-NTSM,which employs a RBF network to compensate for the limited input is developed.The adaptive updating laws acquired by Lyapunov approach guarantee the global stability of the control system and suppress chattering problems.Two examples are provided using a six-link free-floating space robot.Simulation results clearly demonstrate that the proposed constrained adaptive RBF-NTSM control method performs high precision task based on incomplete dynamic model of the space robots.In addition,the control errors converge faster and the chattering is eliminated comparing to traditional sliding mode control.GUO ShengPeng LI DongXu MENG YunHe FAN CaiZhi 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,4:11
7Placement optimization of actuator and sensor and decentralized adaptive fuzzy vibration control for large space intelligent truss structure显示文摘Large space truss structure is widely used in spacecrafts.The vibration of this kind of structure will cause some serious problems.For instance,it will disturb the work of the payloads which are supported on the truss,even worse,it will deactivate the spacecrafts.Therefore,it is highly in need of executing vibration control for large space truss structure.Large space intelligent truss system(LSITS) is not a normal truss structure but a complex truss system consisting of common rods and active rods,and there are at least one actuator and one sensor in each active rod.One of the key points in the vibration control for LSITS is the location assignment of actuators and sensors.The positions of actuators and sensors will directly determine the properties of the control system,such as stability,controllability,observability,etc.In this paper,placement optimization of actuators and sensors(POAS) and decentralized adaptive fuzzy control methods are presented to solve the vibration control problem.The electro-mechanical coupled equations of the active rod are established,and the optimization criterion which does not depend upon control methods is proposed.The optimal positions of actuators and sensors in LSITS are obtained by using genetic algorithm(GA).Furthermore,the decentralized adaptive fuzzy vibration controller is designed to control LSITS.The LSITS dynamic equations with considering those remaining modes are derived.The adaptive fuzzy control scheme is improved via sliding control method.One T-typed truss structure is taken as an example and a demonstration experiment is carried out.The experimental results show that the GA is reliable and valid for placement optimization of actuators and sensors,and the adaptive fuzzy controller can effectively suppress the vibration of LSITS without control spillovers and observation spillovers.LI DongXu LIU Wang JIANG JianPing XU Rui 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,4:10
8Effect of Cyclocarya paliurus polysaccharides on streptozotocin-induced diabetic nephropathy in rats显示文摘OBJEVTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Cyclocarya paliurus(C.paliurus)polysaccharides on streptozotocin-induced diabetic nephropathy in rats.METHODS:Rats were divided into 6 groups,including group of normal control,group of diabetic control,group of metformin treatment,low-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides treatment,middle-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides treatment and high-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides treatment.Histological analysis of kidney was analyzed using hematoxilin and eosin.Levels of blood glucose,creatinine,urea,uric acid were determined by spectrophotometry.Anti-oxidative enzymes were measured by real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Advanced glycation end products(AGEs)and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)level was measured by ELISA.RESULTS:Abnormal changes were observed in the group of diabetic control characterized by atrophy of the renal glomeruli with hypercellularity,congestion of glomerular tufts,dilation of the renal spaces,and degeneration of renal tubule.Compared with that of normal group,blood glucose,creatinine,urea,uric acid level was significantly increased in the group of diabetic control.Superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase,glutathione reductase level was significantly decreased,but AGEs and TGF-β1 level was significantly increased.By contrast,administration of C.paliurus polysaccharides and metformin could reverse the above-mentioned results of the group of diabetic control,especially in the high-dose group of C.paliurus polysaccharides.CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that C.paliurus polysaccharides may play a protecting role for nephropathy of diabetic rats by lowering glucose,creatinine,urea,uric acid level,enhancing the antioxidative ability,and reducing AGEs and TGF-β1 expression.Xia Xichao Mao Dongxue Dai Hongmei Wu Xi Zhang Zuyuan Wang Huaying Zhou Wenwen Dong Yanmei Wang Mengqi Li Yuan Shao Xiangyang Ouyang Jingfeng 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6:9
9Experimental and numerical investigation on the thermal and mechanical behaviours of thermal barrier coatings exposed to CMAS corrosion显示文摘Calcium-magnesium-alumino-silicate(CMAS)corrosion is a critical factor which causes the failure of thermal barrier coating(TBC).CMAS attack significantly alters the temperature and stress fields in TBC,resulting in their delamination or spallation.In this work,the evolution process of TBC prepared by suspension plasma spraying(SPS)under CMAS attack is investigated.The CMAS corrosion leads to the formation of the reaction layer and subsequent bending of TBC.Based on the observations,a corrosion model is proposed to describe the generation and evolution of the reaction layer and bending of TBC.Then,numerical simulations are performed to investigate the corrosion process of free-standing TBC and the complete TBC system under CMAS attack.The corrosion model constructs a bridge for connecting two numerical models.The results show that the CMAS corrosion has a significant influence on the stress field,such as the peak stress,whereas it has little influence on the steady-state temperature field.The peak of stress increases with holding time,which increases the risk of the rupture of TBC.The Mises stress increases nonlinearly along the thick direction of the reaction layer.Furthermore,in the traditional failure zone,such as the interface of the top coat and bond coat,the stress obviously changes during CMAS corrosion.Dongxu LI Peng JIANG Renheng GAO Fan SUN Xiaochao JIN Xueling FAN 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,3:9
10P-E hysteresis loop going slim in Ba0.3Sr0.7TiO3-modified Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3 ceramics for energy storage applications显示文摘(Ba0.3Sr0.7)x(Bi0.5Na0.5)1-xTiO3(BSxBNT,x=0.3–V0.8)ceramics were prepared to investigate their structure,dielectric and ferroelectric properties.BSxBNT ceramics possess pure perovskite structure accompanied from a tetragonal symmetry to pseudo-cubic one with the increase of x value,being confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Raman results.The Tm corresponding to a temperature in the vicinity of maximum dielectric constant gradually decreases from 110℃(x=0.3)to-45℃(x=0.8),across Tm=36℃(x=0.5)with a maximum dielectric constant(ɛr=5920@1 kHz)around room temperature.The saturated polarization Ps gradually while the remnant polarization Pr sharply decreases with the increase of x value,making the P-E hysteresis loop of BSxBNT ceramics goes slim.A maximum difference between Ps and Pr(Ps-Pr)is obtained for BSxBNT ceramics with x=0.5,at which a high recoverable energy density(Wrec=1.04 J/cm3)is achieved under an applied electric field of 100 kV/cm with an efficiency ofη=77%.Meanwhile,the varied temperature P-E loops,fatigue measurements,and electric breakdown characteristics for the sample with x=0.5 indicate that it is promising for pulsed power energy storage capacitor candidate materials.Dongxu LI Zong-Yang SHEN Zhipeng LI Wenqin LUO Xingcai WANG Zhumei WANG Fusheng SONG Yueming LI 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,2:8
11Analysis and Testing of Microvibrations Produced by Momentum Wheel Assemblies显示文摘The microvibrations produced by momentum wheel assemblies(MWA) can degrade the performance of instruments with high pointing precision and stability on spacecraft.This paper concentrates on analyzing and testing the microvibrations produced by MWA.We analyze the disturbance sources produced by mass imbalance,structural mode,bearing irregularity and nonlinear stiffness,and random noise;then,test a well-balanced MWA by a highly sensitive measurement system consisting of a Kistler table and an optical tabletop.The results show that the test system has a resolution of less than 0.003 N in the frequency range of 3-300 Hz.The dynamic imbalance of the MWA cannot excite the radial rocking mode,but there are dynamic amplifications when the poly-harmonic disturbances intersect with the structural modes.Especially at high rotational speed(>3 000 rev/min),the main disturbance sources of the MWA come from the bearing irregularity interacting with radial translation mode in the high frequency range.Thus,bearing noise deserves more attention for the well-balanced MWA,and alternative of high quality bearings are proposed to reduce the microvibrations.ZHOU Weiyong LI Dongxu LUO Qing LIU Kun 2012Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2012,25,4:8

13An overview of laser-based multiple metallic material additive manufacturing: from macro- to micro-scales显示文摘Additive manufacturing(AM)is an emerging customized three-dimensional(3D)functional product fabrication technology.It provides a higher degree of design freedom,reduces manufacturing steps,cost and production cycles.However,existing metallic component 3D printing techniques are mainly for the manufacture of single material components.With the increasing commercial applications of AM technologies,the need for 3D printing of more than one type of dissimilar materials in a single component increases.Therefore,investigations on multi-material AM(MMAM)emerge over the past decade.Lasers are currently widely used for the AM of metallic components where high temperatures are involved.Here we report the progress and trend in laser-based macro-and micro-scale AM of multiple metallic components.The methods covered in this paper include laser powder bed fusion,laser powder directed energy deposition,and laser-induced forward transfer for MMAM applications.The principles and process/material characteristics are described.Potential applications and challenges are discussed.Finally,future research directions and prospects are proposed.Chao Wei Zhizhou Zhang Dongxu Cheng Zhe Sun Menghui Zhu Lin Li 2021International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2021,3,1:7

16Enhanced antibacterial behavior of a novel Cu-bearing high-entropy alloy显示文摘Contact infection of bacteria and viruses has been a critical threat to human health. The worldwideoutbreak of COVID-19 put forward urgent requirements for the research and development of the selfantibacterial materials, especially the antibacterial alloys. Based on the concept of high-entropy alloys, thepresent work designed and prepared a novel Co_(0.4)FeCr_(0.9)Cu_(0.3) antibacterial high-entropy alloy with superior antibacterial properties without intricate or rigorous annealing processes, which outperform the antibacterial stainless steels. The antibacterial tests presented a 99.97% antibacterial rate against Escherichiacoli and a 99.96% antibacterial rate against Staphylococcus aureus after 24 h. In contrast, the classic antibacterial copper-bearing stainless steel only performed the 71.50% and 80.84% antibacterial rate, respectively. The results of the reactive oxygen species analysis indicated that the copper ion release and theimmediate contact with copper-rich phase had a synergistic effect in enhancing antibacterial properties.Moreover, this alloy exhibited excellent corrosion resistance when compared with the classic antibacterialstainless steels, and the compression test indicated the yield strength of the alloy was 1015 MPa. 18Surface curvature-confined strategy to ultrasmall nickel-molybdenum sulfide nanoflakes for highly efficient deep hydrodesulfurization显示文摘Size-controlled synthesis of two-dimensional(2D)catalysts with low stacking numbers and small nanoflake lengths is crucial for promoting the catalytic performance in diverse heterogeneous catalysis.Herein,we report a facile and general“surface curvature-confined synthesis”strategy to modulate the slab lengths and stacking numbers of 2D transition metal sulfides by controlling the strain induced by different surface curvature of supports.An efficient NiMo sulfide with shorter slab length(average 3.71 nm),less stacking number(1–2 layers)and more edge active sites is synthesized onto ZSM-5 zeolites with the average size of 100 nm,which shows superior kHDS value of dibenzothiophene(14.05×10^−7 mol/(g·s)),enhanced stability up to 80 h,and high direct desulfurization selectivity(>95%).This design concept is also proved to be generally applicable to modulate the slab lengths and stacking numbers of other 2D catalysts such as MoS2 and WS2 nanoflakes,which shows great potentials for developing more ultrasmall 2D catalysts with controlled sizes and excellent catalytic activities.Xin Kang Jiancong Liu Chungui Tian Dongxu Wang Yaorui Li Hongyan Zhang Xusheng Cheng Aiping Wu Honggang Fu 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:5

20Microstructure and mechanical properties of C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5) refractory high-entropy alloys at room and high temperatures显示文摘The microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast and isothermally annealed C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5)(x=0,0.05,0.15,0.25)refractory high-entropy alloys(RHEAs)were studied.Both the as-cast and annealed RHEAs consisted of disordered body-centered cubic solid solution phase and metal carbide(MC)phase with a face-centered cubic crystal structure(Fm-3 m space group).The primary carbides were enriched with Hf and C elements and tended to form lamellar eutectic-like microstructure in the interdendrites.The lamellar eutectic-like structure in the interdendrites would be formed from the decomposition of sub-carbide M_(2)C under the influence of Hf element.After isothermal annealing,slatted carbides were precipitated on the matrix,and the distribution became more uniform with high C content.The formation of carbides strongly influenced the mechanical properties both at room and high temperatures.The yield strength values of C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5) RHEA at 1473 and 1673 K were 792 and 749 MPa,respectively.The result had exceeded the high temperature mechanical properties of currently known RHEAs.Moreover,this RHEA exhibited high-temperature performance stability and excellent plasticity,exceeding 30 and 50%at room and elevated temperatures(above 1273 K),respectively.During thermal deformation,carbon-containing RHEAs obtained more severe work hardening than that of ACHO RHEAs,and required greater dynamic recrystallization to achieve the dynamic equilibrium.Shiyu Wu Dongxu Qiao Haitao Zhang Junwei Miao Hongliang Zhao Jun Wang Yiping Lu Tongmin Wang Tingju Li 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,2:4
