1Measurement of ecological capital of Chinese terrestrial ecosystem based on remote sensing显示文摘The biosphere of the Earth is essential to human survival and development. The services of ecosystems are critical to the functioning of the Earth’s life-support system. They contribute to human welfare both directly and indirectly. Ecological capital refers to the sum of the direct biological resources value and the indirect ecosystem services value. It is necessary to estimate the ecological capital in order to bring it to the society and market economic system, and draw the social attention to ecological environment constructions. An estimation model for eco-logical capital based on remote sensing is presented in this paper. The parameters in the model are quantitatively measured using NOAA/AVHRR and other ancillary data, including the land cover types, the vegetation coverage, and the vegetation net primary productivity (NPP) of ter-restrial ecosystem. Based on the economic parameters in previously published studies and a few original calculations, the annual ecological capital of the entire terrestrial ecosystem of China is quantitatively estimated at 6.44 trillion (1012) yuan (RMB), and the spatial distribution of the eco-logical capital is also analyzed. Traditional ecological methods to ecological capital measurement are based on homogeneous plot scales, and the regional scaling is a key problem in their appli-cations. As the proposed remote sensing approach, it provides a new method to ecological capital measurement completely based on observation data. 2Photocatalytic defluorination of perfluorooctanoic acid by surface defective BiOCl:Fast microwave solvothermal synthesis and photocatalytic mechanisms显示文摘There is an urgent need for developing cost-effective methods for the treatment of perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)due to its global emergence and potential risks.In this study,taking surface-defective BiOCl as an example,a strategy of surface oxygen vacancy modulation was used to promote the photocatalytic defluorination efficiency of PFOA under simulated sunlight irradiation.The defective BiOCl was fabricated by a fast microwave solvothermal method,which was found to induce more surface oxygen vacancies than conventional solvothermal and precipitation methods.As a result,the asprepared BiOCl showed significantly enhanced defluorination efficiency,which was 2.7 and33.8 times higher than that of BiOCl fabricated by conventional solvothermal and precipitation methods,respectively.Mechanistic studies indicated that the defluorination of PFOA follows a direct hole(h^+)oxidation pathway with the aid of·OH,while the oxygen vacancies not only promote charge separation but also facilitate the intimate contact between the photocatalyst surface and PFOA by coordinating with its terminal carboxylate group in a bidentate or bridging mode.This work will provide a general strategy of oxygen vacancy modulation by microwave-assisted methods for efficient photocatalytic defluorination of PFOA in the environment using sunlight as the energy source.Yuanyuan Sun Guiying Li Wanjun Wang Wenquan Gu Po Keung Wong Taicheng An 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,10:7
3Selenium Enrichment in Cambrian Stratabound Gold Deposits in the Western Qinling Mountains显示文摘Stratabound gold deposits in the western Qinling Mountains occur in Cambrian chert formation composed of carbonaceous chert and carbonaceous slate. The distinctive chert formation provides important grounds for the mineralization and controls on the formation of gold deposits. Study shows that Se is exceptionally higher in both host rocks and gold orebodies. It may be recovered as a valuable component in ores for total utilization, and in some localities even independent Se orebodies (which are mined exclusively for Se) may be delineated. 7Ridge Covering High-yield Cultivation Techniques of Jinhong Apple in Cold Region显示文摘After five years of study,it was found that compared with the conventional cultivation techniques,the average yield per plant of3-5-year-old Jinhong apple trees cultivated under the ridge covering mode was increased by 2. 12 times,the stem diameter was increased by20%,the branch number was increased by 73. 5%,and the underground root number was increased by 38. 3%. Under the ridge covering mode,the main distribution area of the underground roots of Jinhong apple trees was moved down to 15-55 cm,the temperature of soil 20 cm beneath the surface of the ridges increased by 1. 3-1. 5℃,the temperature of soil 40 cm beneath the surface of the ridges rose by 0. 9-1. 0℃,and the water content of soil 20-40 cm from the ground was maintained around 5%. Under the ridge covering mode,the Jinhong apple trees grew robustly,began to fruit 3 years later and yielded highly 5 years later. 8Enhancing electrical conductivity of single-atom doped Co_(3)O_(4) nanosheet arrays at grain boundary by phosphor doping strategy for efficient water splitting显示文摘High electrical conductivity guarantees a rapid electron transfer and thus plays an important role in electrocatalysis.In particular,for the single atom catalysts(SACs),to facilitate interaction between the single atom and supports,precisely engineering the conductivity represents a promising strategy to design SACs with high electrochemical efficiency.Here we show rhodium(Rh)SAC anchored on Co_(3)O_(4) nanosheets arrays on nickel foam(NF),which is modified by a facile phosphorus(P-doped Rh SACCo_(3)O_(4)/NF),possessing an appropriate electronic structure and high conductivity for electrocatalytic reaction.With the introduction of P atom in the lattice,the electrocatalyst demonstrates outstanding alkaline oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity with 50 mA·cm^(−2) under overpotential of 268 mV,6 times higher than that of Ir/C/NF.More interestingly,the P-doped Rh SAC-Co_(3)O_(4)/NF can get 50 mA·cm^(−2) at only 1.77 V for overall water splitting.Both electrical conductivity studies and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the high conductivity at grain boundary improves the charge transfer efficiency of the Rh catalytic center.Furthermore,other noble-metal(Ir,Pd,and Ru)doped Co_(3)O_(4) nanosheets arrays are prepared to exhibit the general efficacy of the phosphorus doping strategy.Yaohang Gu Xuanyu Wang Ateer Bao Liang Dong Xiaoyan Zhang Haijun Pan Wenquan Cui Xiwei Qi 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
9Stent-assisted coiling of intracranial carotid ophthalmic segment aneurysm segment aneurysms:Long-term follow-up from a single center显示文摘Background:To evaluate the efficacy of stent-assisted coiling(SAC)for the treatment of carotid ophthalmic segment aneurysm segment aneurysms(OSAs)of the internal carotid artery(ICA)through detailed long-term follow-up of a large patient cohort.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 88 consecutive patients with OSAs between January 2009 and January 2020 at our center.Angiographic results were evaluated using the modified Raymond grading system and clinical outcomes were evaluated using the mRS scale.The primary endpoints were major aneurysm recurrence and poor clinical outcomes for at least 18 months of follow-up.The patients were asked to attend clinical follow-up assessments and possibly undergo DSA or MR via telephone.Results:We enrolled 88 patients with 99 OSAs treated with coiling,of whom 76 were treated with SAC.The coiling procedures were successful in all 88 patients.Overall,complications occurred in 8 patients(9.1%).No procedure-related mortality was observed.67(76.1%)experienced immediate aneurysm occlusion at the end of the procedure.Long-term angiographic follow-up(18 months)was available in 45/88 aneurysms(51%)(average 18.7±5.2 months).Four patients continued their follow-up for 5 years after initial aneurysm treatment.After a clinical follow-up time of 28.7 months(range,12-51 months),85 patients(95.5%)achieved favorable clinical outcomes(mRS scores of 0-2).Conclusions:This study indicates that SAC treatment is a safe and effective therapeutic alternative for ruptured and unruptured OSAs.The procedural risks are low with relatively long-term effectiveness.Wenquan Gu Geng Zhou Aizada Aldiyarova Tengyue Liu Yi Zhang Weidong Liu Lingping Meng Binxian Gu MingHua Li Ming Su Chen Su Aihua Liu Wu Wang 2023Journal of Interventional Medicine2023,6,3:0
