1Design and Mechanical Performance Analysis of a New Wheel Propeller显示文摘Nowadays,how to enhance the maneuverability of autonomous underwater vehicles(AUVs) is an important issue in the domain of international navigation in that most AUVs just have a single function of underwater navigation or submarine movement,while the design of thrusters is the key of solving the problem.The multi-moving state autonomous underwater vehicle in this paper can achieve four functions,such as wheels,legs,thrust,and course control depend on the characteristics of spatial deflexion and continual circumgyratetion of the flexible transmission shaft.A new wheel propeller for the multi-moving state autonomous underwater vehicle is presented through analyzing the mechanical characteristics of the ducted propeller and the contracted and loaded tip(CLT) propeller.Then the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) method is used to simulate numerically different propellers open-water performance by using the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) equations and Reynolds stress model(RSM) based on sub-domains hybrid meshes.The predicted thrust coefficients,torque coefficients and pressure of the propellers agree well with the experimental data of their open-water performance.The good consistency shows that the numerical method has good accuracy in the prediction of propeller open-water performance,which guides to design the wheel propeller.Moreover,for the sake of ensuring the security and stability of the AUV when it is moving on the ground,finite element method is used to simulate numerically the intensity and vibration characteristics.The proposed final wheel propeller D4-70(WPD4-70) has preferable open-water performance and intensity characteristics,which can realize the agile maneuverability of the multi-moving state autonomous underwater vehicle.GAO Fudong PAN Cunyun XU Haijun ZUO Xiaobo 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,5:8

3esveratrol inhibits necroptosis by mediating the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL pathway in myocardial hypoxia/reoxygenation injury显示文摘Resveratrol(RES)protects myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)-caused injury.However,the mechanism of this effect has not been clarified.Thus,in this study,we aimed to determine whether RES attenuates H/R-induced cell necroptosis by inhibiting the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)/receptor-interacting protein kinase 1(RIP1)/RIP3/mixed-lineage kinase domain-like(MLKL)signaling pathway.Rat myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)models and H/R-injured cell models were constructed.Our study showed that myocardial H/R injury significantly increased the levels of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL by western blot analysis.Cell viability assay and 4,6-dianmidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)-propidium iodide staining showed that the cell viability was decreased,and necroptosis was increased after myocardial H/R injury.The expressions of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL in H/R myocardial cells treated with different concentrations of RES were significantly downregulated.In addition,we also found that the cell viability was increased and necroptosis was decreased in dose-dependent manners when H/R-injured cells were treated with RES.In addition,the enhanced effect of TNF-αon necroptosis in myocardial H/R-injured cells was improved by RES,and the effect of RES was confirmed in vivo in I/R rats.This study also showed that RES suppresses necroptosis in H9c2 cells,which may occur through the inhibition of the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway.Our data suggest that necroptosis is a promising therapeutic target and may be a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury.Yongjun Hu Hongwei Pan Jianqiang Peng Jin He Mingxiang Tang Sulan Yan Jingjing Rong Junshan Li Zhaofen Zheng Haijun Wang Yanfu Liu Xin Zhong 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4:6
4ZmSRL5 is involved in drought tolerance by maintaining cuticular wax structure in maize显示文摘Cuticular wax is a natural barrier on terrestrial plant organs,which protects plants from damages caused by a variety of stresses.Here,we report the identification and functional characterization of a cuticular-wax-related gene,Zea mays L.SEMI-ROLLED LEAF 5(ZmSRL5).The loss-of-function mutant srl5,which was created by a 3,745 bp in-sertion in the first intron that led to the premature tran-script,exhibited abnormal wax crystal morphology and distribution,which,in turn,caused the pleiotropic pheno-types including increased chlorophyll leaching and water loss rate,decreased leaf temperature,sensitivity to drought,as well as semi-rolled mature leaves.However,total wax amounts showed no significant difference between wild type and semi-rolled leaf5(srl5)mutant.The phenotype of srl5 was confirmed through the generation of two allelic mutants using CRISPR/Cas9.ZmSRL5 encodes a CASPARIAN-STRIP-MEMBRANE-DOMAIN-LIKE(CASPL)protein located in plasma membrane,and highly expressed in developing leaves.Further analysis showed that the expressions of the most wax related genes were not affected or slightly al-tered in srl5.This study,thus,primarily uncovers that ZmSRL5 is required for the structure formation of the cu-ticular wax and could increase the drought tolerance by maintaining the proper cuticular wax structure in maize.Zhenyuan Pan Min Liu Hailiang Zhao Zengdong Tan Kun Liang Qin Sun Dianming Gong Haijun He Wenqi Zhou Fazhan Qiu 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,12:5

6First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 7First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). 11An Old Story Retold: Loss of G1 Control Defines A Distinct Genomic Subtype of Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) has a high mortality rate. To determine the molecular basis of ESCC development, this study sought to identify characteristic genome-wide alterations in ESCC, including exonic mutations and structural alterations. The clinical implications of these genetic alterations were also analyzed. Exome sequencing and verification were performed for nine pairs of ESCC and the matched blood samples, followed by validation with additional samples using Sanger sequencing. Whole-genome SNP arrays were employed to detect copy number alteration(CNA) and loss of heterozygosity(LOH) in 55 cases, including the nine ESCC samples subjected to exome sequencing. A total of 108 non-synonymous somatic mutations(NSSMs) in102 genes were verified in nine patients. The chromatin modification process was found to be enriched in our gene ontology(GO) analysis. Tumor genomes with TP53 mutations were significantly more unstable than those without TP53 mutations. In terms of the landscape of genomic alterations, deletion of 9p21.3 covering CDKN2A/2B(30.9%), amplification of 11q13.3 covering CCND1(30.9%), and TP53 point mutation(50.9%) occurred in two-thirds of the cases. These results suggest that the deregulation of the G1 phase during the cell cycle is a key event in ESCC.Furthermore, six minimal common regions were found to be significantly altered in ESCC samples and three of them, 9p21.3, 7p11.2, and 3p12.1, were associated with lymph node metastasis. 12Molecular detection of Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae, Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola, and Burkholderia glumae in infected rice seeds and leaves显示文摘The polymerase chain reaction(PCR) is particularly useful for plant pathogen detection. In the present study, multiplex PCR and SYBR Green real-time PCR were developed to facilitate the simultaneous detection of three important rice pathogens, Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae, X. oryzae pv. oryzicola, and Burkholderia glumae. The unique PCR primer sets were designed from portions of a putative glycosyltransferase gene of X. oryzae pv. oryzae, an Avr Rxo gene of X. oryzae pv. oryzicola, and an internal transcribed spacer(ITS) sequence of B. glumae. Using a multiplex PCR assay, X. oryzae pv. oryzae, X. oryzae pv. oryzicola, and B. glumae were detected in one PCR reaction that contained the newly developed primer set mix. Using SYBR Green real-time PCR assays, X. oryzae pv. oryzae, X. oryzae pv. oryzicola, and B. glumae were detected at 1, 1, and 10 fg μL-1, respectively. 13Macrozoobenthic assemblages in relation to environments of the Yangtze-isolated lakes显示文摘Eutrophication can shift lakes from a clear, macrophyte-dominated state state, and different habitat to a turbid, algae-dominated condition supports different fauna. Macrozoobenthos are good indicators of water environment, and studies on macrozoobenthic assemblage characteristics can help us to know which state a lake is in, thus provide the basis for its eutrophication control. In this study, a systematic investigation on macrozoobenthos was conducted in 17 Yangtze-isolated lakes to explore the macroecological laws of macrozoobenthic assemblages. Detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) revealed that variance of benthic assemblage structure occurred in two types of lakes. In macrophytic lakes, altogether 51 taxa of macrozoobenthos were identified. The average density and biomass of total macrozoobenthos were 2231 individuals, m2 and 1.69 g dry weight.m-2, respec- tively. Macrozoobenthic assemblage was characterized by dominance of scrapers (i.e. gastropods). In algal lakes, altogether 20 taxa of macrozoobenthos were identified. The average density and biomass of total macrozoobenthos were 2814 individuals.m^2 and 1.38g dry weight.m-2, respectively. Macrozoobenthic assemblage was character- ized by dominance of collector-gatherers (i.e. oligo- chaetes). 14Transmembrane kinase 1-mediated auxin signal regulates membrane-associated clathrin in Arabidopsis roots显示文摘Clathrin-mediated endocytosis(CME)is the major endocytic pathway in eukaryotic cells that directly regulates abundance of plasma membrane proteins.Clathrin triskelia are composed of clathrin heavy chains(CHCs)and light chains(CLCs),and the phytohormone auxin differentially regulates membraneassociated CLCs and CHCs,modulating the endocytosis and therefore the distribution of auxin efflux transporter PIN-FORMED2(PIN2).However,the molecular mechanisms by which auxin regulates clathrin are still poorly understood.Transmembrane kinase(TMKs)family proteins are considered to contribute to auxin signaling and plant development;it remains unclear whether they are involved in PIN transport by CME.We assessed TMKs involvement in the regulation of clathrin by auxin,using genetic,pharmacological,and cytological approaches including live-cell imaging and immunofluorescence.In tmk1 mutant seedlings,auxin failed to rapidly regulate abundance of both CHC and CLC and to inhibit PIN2 endocytosis,leading to an impaired asymmetric distribution of PIN2 and therefore auxin.Furthermore,TMK3 and TMK4 were shown not to be involved in regulation of clathrin by auxin.In summary,TMK1 is essential for auxin-regulated clathrin recruitment and CME.TMK1therefore plays a critical role in the establishment of an asymmetric distribution of PIN2 and an auxin gradient during root gravitropism.Yutong Wang Xu Yan Mei Xu Weiyang Qi Chunjie Shi Xiaohong Li Jiaqi Ma Dan Tian Jianxin Shou Haijun Wu Jianwei Pan Bo Li Chao Wang 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,1:0
15Enhancing electrical conductivity of single-atom doped Co_(3)O_(4) nanosheet arrays at grain boundary by phosphor doping strategy for efficient water splitting显示文摘High electrical conductivity guarantees a rapid electron transfer and thus plays an important role in electrocatalysis.In particular,for the single atom catalysts(SACs),to facilitate interaction between the single atom and supports,precisely engineering the conductivity represents a promising strategy to design SACs with high electrochemical efficiency.Here we show rhodium(Rh)SAC anchored on Co_(3)O_(4) nanosheets arrays on nickel foam(NF),which is modified by a facile phosphorus(P-doped Rh SACCo_(3)O_(4)/NF),possessing an appropriate electronic structure and high conductivity for electrocatalytic reaction.With the introduction of P atom in the lattice,the electrocatalyst demonstrates outstanding alkaline oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity with 50 mA·cm^(−2) under overpotential of 268 mV,6 times higher than that of Ir/C/NF.More interestingly,the P-doped Rh SAC-Co_(3)O_(4)/NF can get 50 mA·cm^(−2) at only 1.77 V for overall water splitting.Both electrical conductivity studies and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the high conductivity at grain boundary improves the charge transfer efficiency of the Rh catalytic center.Furthermore,other noble-metal(Ir,Pd,and Ru)doped Co_(3)O_(4) nanosheets arrays are prepared to exhibit the general efficacy of the phosphorus doping strategy.Yaohang Gu Xuanyu Wang Ateer Bao Liang Dong Xiaoyan Zhang Haijun Pan Wenquan Cui Xiwei Qi 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
16Boosting overall saline water splitting by constructing a strain-engineered high-entropy electrocatalyst显示文摘High-entropy materials(HEMs),which are newly manufactured compounds that contain five or more metal cations,can be a platform with desired properties,including improved electrocatalytic performance owing to the inherent complexity.Here,a strain engineering methodology is proposed to design transition-metal-based HEM by Li manipulation(LiTM)with tunable lattice strain,thus tailoring the electronic structure and boosting electrocatalytic performance.As confirmed by the experiments and calculation results,tensile strain in the LiTM after Li manipulation can optimize the d-band center and increase the electrical conductivity.Accordingly,the asprepared LiTM-25 demonstrates optimized oxygen evolution reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction activity in alkaline saline water,requiring ultralow overpotentials of 265 and 42 mV at 10 mA cm−2,respectively.More strikingly,LiTM-25 retains 94.6%activity after 80 h of a durability test when assembled as an anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzer.Finally,in order to show the general efficacy of strain engineering,we incorporate Li into electrocatalysts with higher entropies as well.Ateer Bao Yaohang Gu Yuxuan Zhang Bowen Zhang Juncheng Wu Bo Ni Xiaoyan Zhang Haijun Pan Xiwei Qi 2024Carbon Energy2024,6,2:0
17An MA-MRR model for transaction-level analysis of highfrequency trading processes显示文摘The transaction-level analysis of security price changes by Madhavan,Richardson,and Roomans(1997,hereafter MRR)is a useful framework for financial analysis.The first-order Markov property of trading indicator variables is a critical assumption in the MRR model,which contradicts the information lag empirically demonstrated in high-frequency trading processes.In this study,a nonparametric test is employed,which shows that the Markov property of the trading indicator variables is rejected on most trading days.Based on the spread decomposed structure,an MA-MRR model was proposed with a moving average structure adopted to absorb the information lag as an extension.The empirical results show that the information lag plays an important role in measuring the adverse selection risk parameter and that the difference in this parameter between the original and the extension is significant.Furthermore,our analysis suggests that the information lag parameter is a useful measure of the average speed at which information is incorporated into prices.Qiang Zhang Zudi Lu Shancun Liu Haijun Yang Jingrui Pan 2024Journal of Management Science and Engineering2024,9,1:0

20UNCERTAINTY ANALYSIS OF ROCK FAILURE BEHAVIOUR USING AN INTEGRATION OF THE PROBABILISTIC COLLOCATION METHOD AND ELASTO-PLASTIC CELLULAR AUTOMATON显示文摘The Karhunen-Loeve(KL) expansion and probabilistic collocation method(PCM)are combined and applied to an uncertainty analysis of rock failure behavior by integrating a selfdeveloped numerical method(i.e., the elastic-plastic cellular automaton(EPCA)). The results from the method developed are compared using the Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS) method. It is concluded that the method developed requires fewer collocations than MCS method to obtain very high accuracy and greatly reduces the computational cost.
