InvesInvestigation of the Effects of Airfoil-probes on the Aerodynamic Performance of an Axial Compressor显示文摘In order to investigate the effects of the airfoil-probes on the aerodynamic performance of an axial compressor,a numerical simulation of 3D flow field is performed in a 1.5-stage axial compressor with airfoil-probes installed at the stator leading-edge(LE).The airfoil-probes have a negative influence on the compressor aerodynamic performance at all operating points.A streamwise vortex is induced by the airfoil-probe along both sides of the blade. At the mid-operating point, the vortex is notable along the pressure side and is relatively small along the suction side(SS).At the near-stall point, the vortex is slightly suppressed in the pressure surface(PS),but becomes remarkable in the suction side.A small local-separation is induced by the interactions between the vortex and the end-wall boundary layer in the corner region near the hub. That the positive pitch angle of the airfoil-probe at 6.5% span is about 15° plays an important role in the vortex evolution near the hub, which causes the fact that the airfoil-probe near the hub has the largest effects among the four airfoil-probes.In order to get a further understanding of the vortex evolution in the stator in the numerical simulation,a flow visualization experiment in a water tunnel is performed. The flow visualization results give a deep insight into the evolution of the vortex induced by the airfoil-probe. | HE Xiang MA Hongwei REN Minglin XIANG Honghui | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2012,25,4: | 8
Study on Mach stems induced by interaction of planar shock waves on two intersecting wedges显示文摘The properties of Mach stems in hypersonic corner flow induced by Mach interaction over 3D intersecting wedges were studied theoretically and numerically.A new method called 'spatial dimension reduction' was used to analyze theoretically the location and Mach number behind Mach stems. By using this approach, the problem of 3D steady shock/shock interaction over 3D intersecting wedges was transformed into a 2D moving one on cross sections, which can be solved by shock-polar theory and shock dynamics theory. The properties of Mach interaction over 3D intersecting wedges can be analyzed with the new method, including pressure, temperature, density in the vicinity of triple points, location, and Mach number behind Mach stems.Theoretical results were compared with numerical results, and good agreement was obtained. Also, the influence of Mach number and wedge angle on the properties of a 3D Mach stem was studied. | Gaoxiang Xiang Chun Wang Honghui Teng Yang Yang Zonglin Jiang | 2016 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2016,32,3: | 6
Shock/shock interactions between bodies and wings显示文摘This paper examines the Shock/Shock Interactions(SSI)between the body and wing of aircraft in supersonic flows. The body is simplified to a flat wedge and the wing is assumed to be a sharp wing. The theoretical spatial dimension reduction method, which transforms the 3D problem into a 2D one,is used to analyze the SSI between the body and wing. The temperature and pressure behind the Mach stem induced by the wing and body are obtained, and the wave configurations in the corner are determined.Numerical validations are conducted by solving the inviscid Euler equations in 3D with a Non-oscillatory and Non-free-parameters Dissipative(NND)finite difference scheme.Good agreements between the theoretical and numerical results are obtained.Additionally, the effects of the wedge angle and sweep angle on wave configurations and flow field are considered numerically and theoretically. The influences of wedge angle are significant, whereas the effects of sweep angle on wave configurations are negligible. This paper provides useful information for the design and thermal protection of aircraft in supersonic and hypersonic flows. | Gaoxiang XIANG Chun WANG Honghui TENG Zonglin JIANG | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,2: | 5
Novel cyclen-based linear polymer as a high-affinity binding material for DNA condensation显示文摘A novel cyclen-based linear polyamine (POGEC) was designed and synthesized from the reaction between 1,3-propanediol diglycidyl ether and 1,7-bis(diethoxyphosphory)-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclod-odecane. High-affinity binding between POGEC and DNA was demonstrated by agarose gel electrophoresis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Moreover, the formed POGEC/DNA complex (termed polyplex) could be disassociated to release the free DNA through addition of the physiological concentration of NaCl solution. Fluorescence spectrum was used to measure the high-affinity binding and DNA condensation capability of POGEC. Circular dichroism (CD) spectrum indicates that the DNA conformation did not change after binding to POEGC. | XIANG YongZhe WANG Na ZHANG Ji LI Kun ZHANG ZhongWei LIN HongHui YU XiaoQi | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,4: | 3
Analysis on Chinese Airline Network Invulnerability显示文摘Air transportation systems are often subject to failures or attacks induced by unexpected abominable weather or temporal airspace occupation, while complex networks have been springing up as a convenient yet efficient tool to represent and analyze various realistic complex systems such as realistic airline system. In terms of Chinese airline network formed during the spring festival timespan, structural empirical research and invulnerability simulation analysis against various deliberate attack strategies were made using complex network theory, where nodes and edges denotes domestic airports and direct flights between them respectively. The analysis results indicate: The presented airline network is a small net-work with scale-free characteristics, and correlation shows remarkable hierarchical structure and obvious assortative characteristics; The network shows obvious invulnerability under deliberate node attack, while shows partly robustness under edge attack even with obvious attack effects against various attack strategies. | Yong YANG Kaijun XU Honghui XIANG | 2019 | Journal of Systems Science and Information2019,10,4: | 2

Preparation of cinnamic hydroxamic acid collector and study on flotation characteristics and mechanism of scheelite显示文摘In this paper, using methyl cinnamate as raw material, the new cinnamic hydroxamic acid collector(CIHA)was synthesized by the hydroxylamine method. The collector performance of hydroxamic acid was investigated for scheelite and gangue calcite, and the flotation separation test of scheelite and calcite was carried out with CIHA as the collector. The interaction mechanism between hydroxamic acid and scheelite minerals has also been investigated through zeta potential,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)experiments,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)experiments, and density functional theory(DFT)calculation. The single mineral flotation test and artificially mixed ore showed that CIHA had an excellent collection effect and selectivity.Zeta potential,FTIR,and XPS showed that CIHA was adsorbed on the scheelite surface by strong chemical adsorption. The active group of CIHA was analyzed through quantum chemical calculation. It was speculated that C=O and N-O bonds could synthesize a five-membered chelated hydroxamic acid group with Ca element chelate on scheelite surface, changing hydrophobicity and making it more likely to emerge from the pulp. | Xiang Yao Xinyang Yu Liping Wang Yuhui Zeng Linghan Mao Shanming Liu Honghui Xie Guichun He Zhiqiang Huang Zhilin Liu | 2023 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,6: | 1
Experimental Study of the Vibration Phenomenon of Compressor Rotor Blade Induced by Inlet Probe Support显示文摘An experimental investigation was conducted in order to understand the installation effects of inlet measurement probes on the vibration characteristics of the rotor blades in two axial compressors. The vibration signal of the rotor blades was analyzed for different layouts of the inlet measurement probes. For the three-stage axial compressor, the first-order resonance occurs on the first stage of the rotor blades at an engine order excitation condition, which is induced by the cylindrical probe support with a diameter of 10 mm.When the size of the probe support is decreased, the vibration level reduces evidently. In contrast, for the six-stage axial compressor, the first-order resonance occurs on the first stage of the rotor blades at an excitation source of 6th order, which is triggered by the inlet measurement probes and the upstream struts. When the number of the inlet measurement probes is changed, the resonance of the rotor blades vanishes. | YANG Yong XIANG Honghui GAO Jie XU Kaijun YANG Rongfei GE Ning | 2021 | Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,5: | 1
Quantum Dot Nanobeads-Labelled Lateral Flow Immunoassay Strip for Rapid and Sensitive Detection of Salmonella Typhimurium Based on Strand Displacement Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification显示文摘Rapid,sensitive,point-of-care detection of pathogenic bacteria is important for food safety. In this study,we developed a novel quantum dot nanobeads-labelled lateral flow immunoassay strip(QBs-labelled LFIAS)combined with strand displacement loop-mediated isothermal amplification(SD-LAMP)for quantitative Salmonella Typhimurium(ST)detection.Quantum dot nanobeads(QBs)served as fluorescence reporters, providing good detection efficiency. The customizable strand displacement(SD)probe was used in LAMP to improve the specificity of the method and prevent by-product capture.Detection was based on a sandwich immunoassay.A fluorescence strip reader measured the fluorescence intensity(FI)of the test(T)line and control(C)line. The linear detection range of the strip was 10^(2)–10^(8) colony forming units(CFU)·mL^(-1).The visual limit of detection was 10^(3) CFU·mL^(-1),indicating that the system was ten-fold more sensitive than AuNPs-labelled test strips.ST specificity was analyzed in accordance with agarose gel outputs of polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and SD-LAMP.We detected ST in foods with an acceptable recovery of 85%–110%.The method is rapid, simple, almost equipment-free,and suitable for bacterial detection in foods and for clinical diagnosis. | Yuting Shang Shuzhen Cai Qinghua Ye Qingping Wu Yanna Shao Xiaoying Qu Xinran Xiang Baoqing Zhou Yu Ding Moutong Chen Liang Xue Honghui Zhu Jumei Zhang | 2022 | Engineering2022,,12: | 0
