2Optimizing zeolite stabilized Pt-Zn catalysts for propane dehydrogenation显示文摘Propane dehydrogenation(PDH)provides an alternative route to non-petroleum based propylene and eligible catalysts with good overall performance are still being explored.Herein,we report the construction of zeolite stabilized Pt-Zn catalysts Pt-Zn/Si-Beta for PDH.Characterization results from transmission electron microscopy(TEM),ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy reveal that highly-dispersed Zn species are stabilized by the silanols from zeolite framework dealumination,which then act as the anchoring sites for Pt species.The close contact between Pt-Zn species and the electronic interaction thereof make Pt-Zn/Si-Beta robust PDH catalysts.Under optimized conditions,a high propylene production rate of 4.11 molmol_(Pt)^(-1)s^(-1),high propylene selectivity of 98% and a sustainable deactivation rate of~0.02 h^(-1)can be simultaneously achieved at 823 K.Coke deposition is not the key reason for the catalytic deactivation,while the loss of Zn species and the resulting aggregation of Pt species under high temperatures are responsible for the irreversible deactivation of Pt-Zn/Si-Beta catalyst in PDH reaction.Linjun Xie Yuchao Chai Lanlan Sun Weili Dai Guangjun Wu Naijia Guan Landong Li 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:5
3An ultra-low power output capacitor-less low-dropout regulator with slew-rate-enhanced circuit显示文摘An ultra-low power output-capacitorless low-dropout(LDO) regulator with a slew-rate-enhanced(SRE)circuit is introduced. The increased slew rate is achieved by sensing the transient output voltage of the LDO and then charging(or discharging) the gate capacitor quickly. In addition, a buffer with ultra-low output impedance is presented to improve line and load regulations. This design is fabricated by SMIC 0.18 μm CMOS technology. Experimental results show that, the proposed LDO regulator only consumes an ultra-low quiescent current of 1.2 μA.The output current range is from 10 μA to 200 m A and the corresponding variation of output voltage is less than 40 m V. 4Wireless communication and wireless power transfer system for implantable medical device显示文摘Traditional magnetically coupled resonant wireless power transfer technology uses fixed distances between coils for research,to prevent fluctuations in the receiving voltage,and lead to reduce transmission efficiency.This paper proposes a closed-loop control wireless communication wireless power transfer system with a wearable four-coil structure to stabilize the receiving voltage fluctuation caused by changes in the displacement between the coils.Test results show that the system can provide stable receiving voltage,no matter how the distance between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil is changed.When the transmission distance is 20 mm,the power transfer efficiency of the system can reach 18.5%under the open-loop state,and the stimulus parameters such as the stimulation period and pulse width can be adjusted in real time through the personal computer terminal.Zhang Zhang Chao Chen Tairan Fei Hao Xiao Guangjun Xie Xin Cheng 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,10:1

7Colon hydrotherapy plus Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat non-alcoholic fatty liver disease:a pilot study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the potential to treat non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) with colon hydrotherapy(CHT) plus Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS: A total of 20 patients were enrolled into the study and received CHT with TCM for 2 weeks.Body mass index(BMI) and levels of serum triglycerides(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) were compared between pre-treatment and post-treatment.RESULTS: Two-week treatment with CHT plus TCM significantly lowered BMI and reduced blood lipids.BMI decreased from 29.5 ± 4.3 to 25.4 ± 1.0, while mean TG levels decreased by 0.70 mmol/L on average from baseline and mean TC levels decreased by0.37 mmol/L. Forty-five percent of patients exhibited TC decreasing by more than 10% from baseline and25%ofpatientsexhibited TCdecreasingbymore than 20%. Sixty percent of patients exhibited TG decreasing by more than 20% and 20% of patients exhibited TG decreasing by more than 40%. However,high-density and low-density lipoprotein cholester-ol levels did not change significantly after intervention. 9Extraction of flocculants from a strain of Bacillus thuringiensis and analysis of their properties显示文摘In a preliminary screening study,our laboratory isolated from the biofloc in aquaculture waters a strain of Bacillus thuringiensis,which produced highly efficient bio-flocculants.In the present study,we extracted the crude flocculants from this strain and analyzed their properties.Distribution analysis indicated that the flocculants were mainly distributed in the supernatant of the fermentation liquid.The flocculants were extracted using an ethanol extraction method,and the chemical compositions and morphology of the crude flocculants were analyzed using the Molish reaction,Fehling reaction,ninhydrin reaction,biuret reaction,phenol-sulfuric acid assay,Coomassie brilliant blue staining,ultraviolet scanning,infrared scanning and scanning electron microscopy.The carbohydrate composition of the polysaccharides in the flocculants was analyzed with thin layer chromatography.The results indicated that flocculants were solid substances with an ivory white color and their texture was loose and soft.Visualization under scanning electron microscopy revealed that their ultra-morphology consisted of small,long and fiber-like shapes.Chemical and physical analyses indicated that polysaccharides accounted for 34.5%of the components in the crude flocculants.The monosaccharides present in crude flocculants included mainly glucose,galactose and mannitose.Jingrong Wu Guangjun Wang Zhifei Li Ermeng Yu Jun Xie Zonglin Zheng 2017Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,4:1

13A NOVEL LOW DISTORTION HIGH LINEARITY CMOS BOOTSTRAPPED SWITCH显示文摘This paper proposes a novel low distortion high linearity CMOS bootstrapped switch, and the proposed switch can alleviate the nonlinear distortion of the on-resistance by eliminating first order signal-dependent variation of the overdrive voltage. 15A Quantum Error-Correction Circuit Based on Cyclic Code显示文摘In this paper, the cyclic code of the classic circuit is transformed and transplanted; then, the quantum encoding scheme based on cyclic code and quantum error-correction circuit is constructed. The proposed circuit can correct one-bit error, and the use of redundant bits to encode more than one-bit quantum information breaks the previous limitations of many bits encoding a quantum bit. 16Design and comparison of new fault-tolerant majority gate based on quantum-dotcellular automata显示文摘Quantum-dot cellular automata(QCA) is increasingly valued by researchers because of its nanoscale size and very low power consumption. However, in the manufacture of nanoscale devices prone to various forms of defects, which will affect the subsequent circuits design. Therefore, fault-tolerant QCA architectures have become a new research direction. The purpose of this paper is to build a novel fault-tolerant three-input majority gate based on normal cells. Compared with the previous structures, the majority gate shows high fault tolerance under single-cell and double-cell omission defects. In order to examine the functionality of the proposed structure, some physical proofs under single cell missing defects are provided. Besides, two new fault-tolerant decoders are constructed based on the proposed majority gate. In order to fully demonstrate the performance of the proposed decoder, the previous decoders were thoroughly compared in terms of fault tolerance, area and delay. 18Recent Developments in Artificial Intelligence in Oceanography显示文摘With the availability of petabytes of oceanographic observations and numerical model simulations,artificial intelligence(AI)tools are being increasingly leveraged in a variety of applications.In this paper,these applications are reviewed from the perspectives of identifying,forecasting,and parameterizing ocean phenomena.Specifically,the usage of AI algorithms for the identification of mesoscale eddies,internal waves,oil spills,sea ice,and marine algae are discussed in this paper.Additionally,AI-based forecasting of surface waves,the El Niño Southern Oscillation,and storm surges is discussed.This is followed by a discussion on the usage of these schemes to parameterize oceanic turbulence and atmospheric moist physics.Moreover,physics-informed deep learning and neural networks are discussed within an oceanographic context,and further applications with ocean digital twins and physics-constrained AI algorithms are described.This review is meant to introduce beginners and experts in the marine sciences to AI methodologies and stimulate future research toward the usage of causality-adherent physics-informed neural networks and Fourier neural networks in oceanography.Changming Dong Guangjun Xu Guoqing Han Brandon JBethel Wenhong Xie Shuyi Zhou 2022Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Research2022,1,1:0
19DIGITAL BACKGROUND CALIBRATION OF CAPACITOR MISMATCHES AND HARMONIC DISTORTION IN PIPELINED ADC显示文摘A correlation-based digital background calibration algorithm for pipelined Analog-to- Digital Converters (ADCs) is presented in this paper. The merit of the calibration algorithm is that the main errors information, which include the capacitor mismatches and residue amplifier distortion, are extracted integrally. A modified 1st pipelined stage is adopted to solve the signal overflow caused by the Pseudo-random Noise (PN) sequences. Behavioral simulation results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.
