| 1 | Numerical analysis of dislocations of the face slabs of the Zipingpu Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam during the Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘The Zipingpu Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam (CFRD) was obviously damaged during the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. A wide range of dislocations occurred along the horizontal construction joints at EL. 845m, between the face slabs constructed in the second and third stages. The maximum displacement of the dislocations reached 17cm. In this study, the slab dislocations were investigated using finite element (FE) analysis. The method based on strain potential was applied to compute the permanent deformation of the Zipingpu Dam during the Wenchuan earthquake. The calculated magnitude of the slab dislocation showed good agreements with the field measurements. The dislocation mechanism was discussed. The results show that the dislocation of the concrete slab is a subsequent damage after the permanent deformation of the rockfill materials. The effects of the shear strength and the direction of the construction joints, the reservoir water level and the seismic waves were studied. The shear strength and the direction of the construction joints, reservoir water level and have a significant effect on the dislocation displacement. | 3 | Effects of Remifentanil Pretreatment on Inflammatory Response in Rats with Acute Cerebral Ischemia Injury显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the effects of remifentanil pretreatment on inflammatory factors in rats with acute cerebral ischemia.[Methods]Sixty SD rats were randomly divided into the normal control group,sham operation group,ischemic brain injury group,and remifentanil pretreatment group.Except the normal control group,each group was divided into three subgroups(six in each group)according to the sampling time points of 6,12 and 24 h after execution.After modeling,the rats were scored for neurological deficit,and observed for pathological changes of neurons in the brain tissue by HE staining and the brain infarct volume by TTC staining,and the expression levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 were detected by RT-PCR.[Results]HE staining:No significant changes were observed in the pathological morphology of the brain tissue in the blank group and sham operation group;and the neuronal structure of rats in the acute cerebral ischemia group was obviously damaged,and the neuronal damage in the remifentanil pretreatment group was less than that in the acute cerebral ischemia group at each time point.TTC staining:The gray brain infarct area in the remifentanil pretreatment group was significantly smaller than that in the cerebral ischemia group(P<0.05).RT-PCR detection results:The expression levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 in the blank group and sham surgery group did not show significant changes at different times(P>0.05);and compared with the cerebral ischemia group,the expression levels of TNF-α,IL-6,and IL-8 in the remifentanil pretreatment group were significantly reduced at all time points(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Remifentanil pretreatment could protect the brain by reducing the expression of inflammatory factors after cerebral ischemia injury. | Jingfeng ZHOU Xianjing ZENG Shu LIU Jinghua YUAN Fan XIAO | 2023 | Medicinal Plant2023,14,6: | 0 |
| 4 | Difficulty-aware bi-network with spatial attention constrained graph for axillary lymph node segmentation显示文摘Axillary lymph node(ALN)segmentation in ultrasound images is important for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.Recently,deep learning methods for automatic medical image segmentation have improved significantly.However,two problems arise.(1)A unified model is often employed to segment all images without considering the difficulty diversity.(2)The relationship between elements in the learned class probability map is disregarded.To address these two issues,we propose a novel difficulty-aware binetwork with a spatial attention constrained graph.First,a difficulty grading module(DGM)is developed to learn the difficulty grade of input images.Based on the difficulty grade of images,a novel bi-network architecture is proposed to segment the image adaptively using different branches.In complex branches,a novel spatial attention module(SAM)and graph-based energy with spatial attention constraint are proposed.The learned spatial attention map can provide additional discriminative information.Moreover,the graph-based segmentation framework can capture the relationship between pixels,further improving the segmentation performance for complex images.We conducted an experiment on our ultrasound database using 216 cases.The overall dice similarity coefficient,Jaccard coefficient,volumetric overlap error,and false positive rate are 83.41%,74.4%,12.02%,and 13.36%for ALN segmentation,respectively.The comparison results demonstrated that the proposed method outperforms other deep learning methods. | Qing XU Xiaoming XI Xianjing MENG Zheyun QIN Xiushan NIE Yongjian WU Dongsheng ZHOU Yi QU Chenglong LI Yilong YIN | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,9: | 0 |
| 5 | Development levels of pediatric palliative care teams and the extent of palliative care understanding and implementation among pediatric oncologists in China显示文摘Importance:Pediatric palliative care(PPC)is an interdisciplinary collaboration that focuses on the prevention and relief of patient suffering.PPC has emerged as a critical field of medical expertise and practice.However,no information is available regarding the progress of PPC in the Chinese mainland.Objective:This study investigated the geographic distribution,team structure,and services of PPC teams in the Chinese mainland.It also investigated the level of understanding and implementation among pediatric oncologists regarding PPC.Methods:The PPC subspecialty group of the Pediatrics Society of the Chinese Medical Association included 45 PPC teams.The team structure and services were investigated using questionnaires mailed to the team leader of each PPC team.In addition,we sent questionnaires regarding the level of PPC understanding and implementation of PPC practices to 170 pediatric oncologists in 11 hospitals.Results:The geographical distribution of PPC teams is uneven in China.Most PPC teams are concentrated in the eastern provincial capital of China.Most PPC teams had limited staff and services.The level of PPC understanding was considerably limited across all demographics;most pediatric oncologists reported“some understanding”(n=71,41.8%)or“poor understanding”(n=50,29.4%).Only 62.9%of pediatric oncologists had experience providing advice to family members regarding PPC matters.Interpretation:China is currently experiencing a critical shortage of PPC resources.Most pediatric oncologists had a limited understanding of PPC and reported limited practical implementation of PPC,which leads to underutilization of PPC resources. | Siyu Cai Qiaohong Guo Xianjing Wang Ruixin Wang Peiyi Yang Yuchen Zhou Yanhui Luo Xuan Zhou Xiaoxia Peng | 2021 | Pediatric Investigation2021,5,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Intrinsic superconducting transport properties of ultra-thin Fe_(1+y)Te_(0:6)Se_(0:4) microbridges显示文摘We investigated the superconducting properties of Fe_(1+y)Te_(0:6)Se_(0:4) single-crystalline microbridges with a width of 4 m and thicknesses ranging from 20.8 to 136.2 nm. The temperature-dependent in-plane resistance of the bridges exhibited a type of metalinsulator transition in the normal state. The critical current density(J_c) of the microbridge with a thickness of 136.2 nm was82.3 kA/cm^2 at 3K and reached 105 kA/cm^2 after extrapolation to T = 0 K. The current versus voltage characteristics of the microbridges showed a Josephson-like behavior with an obvious hysteresis. | 7 | Fabrication of Al/AlO_x/Al Josephson junctions on silicon and sapphire substrates using a cold-development technique显示文摘In order to obtain high-quality superconducting qubits, we employed a cold-development technique, using temperatures down to-20°C, to fabricate Al/AlOx/Al Josephson junctions. Cold development greatly reduced the sensitivity of the electron-beam resist to the developer, eliminated molecules of the electron-beam resist at trench edges, and improved the repeatability and reliability of the nanopatterning process. The fabricated samples have well-defined geometries and increased dose margins, with lateral sizes of 100 nm×100 nm on both silicon and sapphire substrates.
