10Activity origin and design principles for atomic vanadium anchoring on phosphorene monolayer for nitrogen reduction reaction显示文摘Conversion of inert N2 molecules into NH3 via electrochemical methods is an environmentally friendly alternative to replace the traditional Haber-Bosch process.However,the development of highly efficient catalyst is still challenging.Herein,we report a density functional theory(DFT)based high-throughput screening to investigate the potential of 23 atomic transition metals(Sc,Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Y,Zr,Nb,Mo,Tc,Ru,Rh,Pd,Ag,Cd,W,Pt and Au)supported on phosphorene monolayer as electrocatalyst for nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR).Our theoretical results demonstrate that V single atom anchoring on phosphorene monolayer exhibits good thermal stability,selectivity and excellent catalytic activity with a low overpotential of 0.18 V.Importantly,rational design principles and electronic descriptor between the intrinsic electronic properties and activation barrier have been developed.Our work offers a new promising noble metal-free catalyst for NRR and reveals profound insights into the activity origin to guide further design.Xiongyi Liang Xiangxuan Deng Chen Guo Chi-Man Lawrence Wu 2020Nano Research2020,13,11:1

13Water Environmental Impact Assessment and Analysis of Foshan Brewery Project显示文摘In recent years, the beer industry is a biological food industry that consumes a lot of water, and it has developed rapidly in China. The sewage discharged from the mass production of beer poses a huge threat to the environment. In order to evaluate and better solve the possible environmental impacts of beer treatment engineering projects, a brewery project in Foshan City is taken as an example to investigate the water pollution generation links of the engineering process including surface water and groundwater. According to the relevant technical methods and standards, water pollution factors are screened, and concentration and discharge are monitored. Through comprehensive analysis, predictive evaluation is obtained. 15The Contextual Dynamics of Internet of Things Applications in Smart Public Bike Sharing Services显示文摘The past decade has witnessed the emergence of Internet of Things(IoT)technologies in public service innovation.As the technical characteristics of IoT technologies are rather identical around the globe,one might wonder whether the location still matters for their adoptions.Smart public bike sharing(PBS)scheme is one of the world’s most widespread public IoT applications.Prior studies of smart PBS schemes find the positive effects on the host city’s image and sustainable mobility.However,less attention has been paid to the impact of the host city’s context on the evolution of their service characteristics.The paper proposes a model that explicitly includes the contextual dynamics of public service innovations that utilize IoT.Then the model is used to analyze two empirical cases from Sweden and China,respectively.The results reveal that public motives,user preferences,and governance can impact the evolution of the service characteristics of smart PBS schemes,which is important for smart PBS planners,operators,and policymakers to consider.The best PBS scheme is the one that adapts to the characters of the host city and the changing needs of the users.Moreover,the study reflects the new complexities that arise for digital public services,such as the protection of data and privacy.XU Xiangxuan 2017Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies2017,5,2:0
