2Generatrix shape optimization of stiffened shells for low imperfection sensitivity显示文摘According to previous studies,stiffened shells with convex hyperbolic generatrix shape are less sensitive to imperfections.In this study,the effects of generatrix shape on the performances of elastic and plastic buckling in stiffened shells are investigated.Then,a more general description of generatrix shape is proposed,which can simply be expressed as a convex B-spline curve(controlled by four key points).An optimization framework of stiffened shells with a convex B-spline generatrix is established,with optimization objective being measured in terms of nominal collapse load,which can be expressed as a weighted sum of geometrically imperfect shells.The effectiveness of the proposed framework is demonstrated by a detailed comparison of the optimum designs for the B-spline and hyperbolic generatrix shapes.The decrease of imperfection sensitivity allows for a significant weight saving,which is particularly important in the development of future heavy-lift launch vehicles.WANG Bo HAO Peng LI Gang WANG XiaoJun TANG XiaoHan LUAN Yu 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,10:6

4Modulation of nitrate-induced phosphate response by the MYB transcription factor RLI1/HINGE1 in the nucleus显示文摘The coordinated utilization of nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)is vital for plants to maintain nutrient balance and achieve optimal growth.Previously,we revealed a mechanism by which nitrate induces genes for phosphate utilization;this mechanism depends on NRT1.1B-facilitated degradation of cytoplasmic SPX4,which in turn promotes cytoplasmic-nuclear shuttling of PHR2,the central transcription factor of phosphate signaling,and triggers the nitrate-induced phosphate response(NIPR)and N-P coordinated utilization in rice.In this study,we unveiled a fine-tuning mechanism of NIPR in the nucleus regulated by Highly Induced by Nitrate Gene 1(HINGE1,also known as RLI1),a MYB-transcription factor closely related to PHR2.RLI1/HINGE1,which is transcriptionally activated by PHR2 under nitrate induction,can directly activate the expression of phosphate starvation-induced genes.More importantly,RLI1/HINGE1 competes with PHR2 for binding to its repressor proteins in the nucleus(SPX proteins),and consequently releases PHR2 to further enhance phosphate response.Therefore,RLI1/HINGE1 amplifies the phosphate response in the nucleus downstream of the cytoplasmic SPX4-PHR2 cascade,thereby enabling fine-tuning of N-P balance when nitrate supply is sufficient.Zhihua Zhang Zhao Li Wei Wang Zhimin Jiang Liping Guo Xiaohan Wang Yangwen Qian Xiahe Huang Yongqiang Liu Xiujie Liu Yahong Liu Aifu Li Yu Yan Junpeng Xie Shouyun Cao Stanislav Kopriva Legong Li Fanjiang Kong Baohui Liu Yingchun Wang Bin Hu Chengcai Chu 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,3:4
5Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy of some pentoses显示文摘The well-resolved absorption spectra of D-xylose, D-ribose, D-arabinose, D-lyxose and other related substances in the spectral region between 0.3 and 2.0 THz are measured using tera- hertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) at 295 K. Comparing the absorption spectra of different chemicals, we can distinguish the samples easily. 9Terahertz time-domain spectroscopic investigation on quinones显示文摘Well resolved far-infrared spectra of 1,4-benzoquinone, 1,4-naphthoquinone, and 9, 10-anthraquinonme in polycrystalline form have been measured with terahertz time domain spectroscopy at room tem- perature. The characterizations of power absorption and index of refraction in the frequency range 0.3 -2.0 THz are presented. Theoretical calculation is applied to assist the analysis and assignment of individual THz absorption spectra of the p-quinones with semiempirical AM1, Hartree-Fock (HF), and density functional theory (DFT) method. 12Cenozoic terrestrial palynological assemblages in the glacial erratics from the Grove Mountains, east Antarctica显示文摘Fossiliferous glacial erratics have been found in moraines of the Grove Mountains, east Antarctica since 1998 by Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition (CHNARE) teams. These erratics were derived from a suite of glaciogene strata hidden beneath the Antarctic Ice Sheet in the Lambert glacier drainage system, and thus provide a record of Cenozoic paleoenvironmental conditions and fossil biotas that are so far unknown from outcrops and drill cores in this region. By microfossil analysis, sparse Neogene spores and pollen grains are revealed, including: Toroisporis (Lygodiaceae), Granulatisporites (Pteridaceae?), Osmunda (Osmundaceae), Polypodiaceae, Magnastriatites (Parkeriaceae), Deltoidospora, Araucariaceae, Taxodiaceae, Podocarpus (Podocarpaceae), Dacrydium (Podocarpaceae), Pinus (Pinaceae), Keteleeria (Pinaceae), Picea (Pinaceae), Tsuga (Pinaceae), Chenopodiaceae, Artemisia (Asteraceae), Asteraceae, Gramineae, Fraxinoipollenites (Oleaceae), Oleoidearumpollenites (Oleaceae), Oleaceae, Operculumpollis, Nothofagidites (Nothofagus), Rhus, Quercus (Fagaceae), Juglans (Juglandaceae), Pterocarya (Juglandaceae), Liquidambar (Hamamelidaceae), Ulmus (Ulmaceae), Ulmoidepites (Ulmaceae), Tilia, Proteacidites (Proteaceae) and Tricolpopollenites; but without any marine diatoms. Most of the spores and pollen grains in the erratics are considered to originate from local sources except for some older exotic components that might be recycled from the basement sedimentary rocks by the ice sheet, so they are in situ sporo-palynological assemblages. Furthermore, since the source areas of the glaciogenic sedimentary rocks are assumed to be local or in the up glacier areas, the palynological assemblages in these erratics represent an inland terrestrial flora during a warmer period of the ice-sheet evolutionary history. The ages of these erratics are also discussed based on the occurrence of some diagnostic pollens such as the Artemisia, Chenopodiaceae and Nothofagus, which implies Neogene (most probably Pliocene). As a preliminary conclusion, we think that the existence of the Cenozoic glaciogenic rocks and their palynological assemblages present new evidence for a large scale glacial retreat event in the Grove Mountains of east Antarctica, and thus support a dynamic East Antarctic Ice Sheet (EAIS). 14Colonization of Penicillium oxalicum SL2 in Pb-contaminated paddy soil and its immobilization effect on soil Pb显示文摘Penicillium oxalicum SL2(SL2) is a previously screened Pb-tolerant fungus that can promote crops growth. The relationship between SL2 colonization and Pb immobilization was studied to provide a theoretical basis for microbial remediation of Pb-contaminated paddy soil.In this study, green fluorescent protein(GFP) labeled SL2 was inoculated into different Pbcontaminated paddy soils(S1-S6). The Pb extracted from the soil by HNO, EDTA and CaClwere used to characterize the available Pb. The results showed that the colonization of SL2was divided into lag phase(0-7 days), growth phase(7-30 days), and mortality phase(30-90days). SL2 colonized well in sandy soils rich in clay and total phosphorus with initial p H of 4.5-7.0. In addition, SL2 increased soil p H and decreased soil Eh, which was beneficial to immobilize Pb. In different soils, the highest percentages of CaCl-Pb, EDTA-Pb, and HNO3-Pb immobilized by SL2 were 34.34%-40.53%, 17.05%-20.11%, and 7.39%-15.62%, respectively.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the percentages of CaCl-Pb and EDTA-Pb immobilized by SL2 were significantly positively correlated with the number of SL2 during the growth phase.
