| 1 | Effect of Protein Kinase C on Proliferation and Apoptosis of T Lymphocytes in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Children显示文摘It is well-documented that T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis are abnormal in idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) children. However, the underlying regulation mechanisms especially in terms of signal transduction remain unknown. In this paper, we reported the changes of protein kinase C (PKC) activity in peripheral blood T lymphocytes and the effect of PKC on T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis. We demonstrated that in ITP children, the activator (PMA) and inhibitor (H-7) of PKC affected on T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis dramatically, but they altered little in healthy children. PKC activity was significantly enhanced in ITP children together with an increased expression of FasL on CD3+ T, CD4+ T and CD8+T cells, resulting in a positive correlation between PKC activity and the expression of FasL on T cells. While the PKC activity and the platelet count were negatively correlated. | 2 | Polarization and Apoptosis of T Cell Subsets in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura显示文摘It is well-known that idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is an acquired organ-specific autoimmune hemorrhagic disease and dysfunctional cellular immunity is considered important in the pathophysiology of ITP. However, polarization patterns and apoptosis profiles of T lymphocytes remain unclear. In this study, we investigated the polarization of T cell subsets, the expressions of apoptotic proteins Fas/FasL on the subsets and the level of anti-apoptotic gene bcl-2 and bax mRNA. It was demonstrated that the ratios of Th1/Th2 and Tc1/Tc2 in ITP children were increased obviously and that the average percentages were increased clearly for Th1 and Th2,but not for Tc1 and Tc2. In ITP children, the enhancing expressions were detected for FasL on Th1 and Tc1 and for Fas on Th2 and Tc2. With increasing level of bcl-2 mRNA and decreasing expression of bax mRNA in ITP children, the ratio of bcl-2/bax mRNA was improved obviously, which was positive correlated with the ratio of Th1/Th2. Taken together, our findings indicate that ITP is a Th1 predominant disease. This polarization pattern of T cell subsets might be related to the high ratio of bcl-2/bax mRNA and the abnormal expressions of Fas and FasL on T cell subsets. | 3 | Controllable synthesis of mesoporous carbon hollow microsphere twined by CNT for enhanced microwave absorption performance显示文摘The low dielectric loss of mesoporous carbon hollow microsphere(PCHM)requires high filler loading(higher than 20 wt%)when it is used as microwave absorbers.In order to decrease the filler loading of PCHM,a new strategy for synergistic increase of polarization and conductive loss was developed by twining PCHM with carbon nanotube(CNT)according to theoretic calculation.By the optimization of CNT content,the minimum reflection coefficient was -34.6 dB with a filler loading of only 10 wt%,which was much lower than -2.1 dB of PCHM.In addition,the effective absorption bandwidth was 3.6 GHz at X band with a thickness of 2.8 mm.The enhanced microwave absorption performance can be ascribed to the unique combination of hollow PCHM and one-dimensional CNT with higher graphitization degree,leading to increase of conductivity and heterogeneous interfaces.As a result,the conductive loss increased from 0.12 to 2.27 and polarization loss increased from 0.15 to 0.67,achieving the balance between attenuation ability and impedance match. | Minghang Li Xiaomeng Fan Hailong Xu Fang Ye Jimei Xue Xiaoqiang Li Laifei Cheng | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,59,24: | 4 |
| 4 | Preparation and characterization of H_4SiW_(12)O_(40)@MIL-100(Fe) and its catalytic performance for synthesis of 4,4'-MDA显示文摘The catalytic performance of commonly used heteropoly acids(H_3 PW_(12)O_(40). H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40) and H_3 PMo_(12)O_(40)) for the synthesis of 4,4'-methylenedianiline(4.4'-MDA) from aniline and formaldehyde was evaluated and the result showed that H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40) with moderate acid strength exhibited the best catalytic performance. Then H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40)@MIL-100(Fe) was prepared by encapsulating H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40) within the pores of MIL-100(Fe) to facilitate its recovery and reuse. The prepared H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40)@MIL-100(Fe) was characterized by means of FT-IR, N_2 adsorption-desorption, XRD, TG and then the catalytic performance was evaluated. The result showed that H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40) was highly dispersed in the pores of MIL-100(Fe), and both the Keggin structure of H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40)and the crystal skeleton structure of MIL-100(Fe) could be effectively preserved. Furthermore. H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40)@MIL-100(Fe) showed excellent catalytic performance under the following reaction conditions: a molar ratio of aniline to formaldehyde = 5, a mass ratio of catalyst to formaldehyde = 1.2, a reaction temperature of 120 ℃and a reaction time of 6 h. Under the above reaction conditions, the conversion of aniline was 41.1%, and the yield and selectivity of 4.4'-MDA were 81.6% and 79.2%, respectively. Unfortunately, an appreciable loss in the catalytic activity of the recovered H_4 SiW_(12)O_(40)@MIL-100(Fe) was observed because of the blocking of the pores and the change of the acidity resulted from the adsorption of alkaline organics such as aniline and 4,4'-MDA.The adsorbed alkaline organics could be cleaned up when the recovered catalyst was washed by methanol and DMF. | 8 | Electromagnetic interference shielding Ti3C2Tx-bonded carbon black films with enhanced absorption performance显示文摘The demand for flexible and freestanding electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials are more and more urgent to combat with serious electromagnetic(EM)radiation pollution.Twodimensional Ti3C2Tx is considered as promising EMI shielding material to graphenes because of the low cost and high electrical conductivity.However,the shielding performance still needs to be optimized to decrease the reflection effectiveness(SER)and increase absorption effectiveness(SEA).Herein,we prepared Ti3C2Tx-bonded carbon black films with a porous structure.The SER decreased from 20 dB to12 dB and the SEA increased from 31 dB to 47 dB.The best EMI shielding effectiveness can be as high as60 dB with SEA of 15 dB and SER of45 dB.Their calculated specific shielding effectiveness can be as high as8718 dB cm^2/g.These results indicate that the porous structure can enhance the absorption of the EMI shielding films,resulting from the enhanced scattering and reflectio n.Conseque ntly,this work provides a promising MXene-based EMI shielding film with lightweight and flexibility. | Xiaomeng Fan Minghang Li Xin Li Fang Ye Jimei Xue Litong Zhang Laifei Cheng | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,4: | 1 |

| 11 | Central sensibility of human cases with different body mass during oral glucose tolerance test using functional magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘BACKGROUND: Because of the limitation of technique, there are few researches on regulating function o central hypothalamus by metabolism, especially the researches on real-time function. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the response of hypothalamus to oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) in differen body-weighted subjects by using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) so as to investigate th relationship between the sensitivity of hypothalamus in glycoregulation and disturbance of carbohydrat metabolism. DESIGN: Paired design. SETTING: Department of Radiology and Beijing Geriatrics Institute, Beijing Hospital, National Publi Health Bureau. PARTICIPANTS: A total of twenty healthy volunteers were selected from Beijing Geriatrics Institute National Public Health Bureau, including 10 subjects with obesity (5 males and 5 females; body mass > 28.0 kg/m2) and 10 subjects with normal body mass (5 males and 5 females; body mass from 18.5 to 23.9 kg/m2). All subjects gave written informed consent before participating in the study. METHODS: fMRI study was performed on GE 1.5 T Signa Twinspeed Infinity with Excite. Each voluntee was ingested of glucose during the fMRI scan. T2* images were acquired using a single-shot gradient echo (EPI) technique. The parameters of EPI included: TR 3 000 ms, TE 40 ms, Flip angle 90°, field of view (FOV) 24 cm × 24 cm, thickness 5 mm, gap 0 mm, matrix 64 × 64, number of excitation 1. All 10 subjects with normal body mass underwent a repeat fMRI scan after consuming an equivalent amount o water without glucose on a separate day. The procedure for the fMRI scan with water intake was the same a for glucose ingestion. fMRI data were processed with Intensity Averaging Method. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The central response of hypothalamus and feedback orientation during OGTT in different body-weighted subjects. RESULTS: An acute transient decrease of fMRI intensity in posterior inferior and anterior inferior o hypothalamus was observed in all subjects within 2 minutes after oral glucose intake. This decrease wa followed by a recovery to the baseline. However, obese subjects had a delayed intensity decrease [(1.96± 1.06) minutes vs. (1.04±0.71) minutes, t =2.14, P < 0.05] and longer recovery time [(26.62±7.35 minutes vs. (16.29±6.42) minutes, t =3.67, P < 0.01] as compared with normal body-weight subjects Furthermore, decreased fMRI intensity was significant different from baseline intensity [(5.7±2.5)% vs (14.3±5.5)%, t =2.56, P < 0.05] in obese subjects, but not in normal body-weight subjects. The area o hypothalamus in normal body-weight volunteers demonstrated no significant signal change before and afte oral water ingestion (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Hypothalamus response to glucose loading is different in normal body-weighted and obes subjects. | 12 | Local singularity and S–A methods for analyzing ore-producing anomalies in the Jianbiannongchang area of Heilongjiang,China显示文摘The Heilongjiang Jianbiannongchang area is located at the confluence of the Great and Lesser Xing’an Ranges.This area has a complex magmatic and tectonic evolutionary history that has resulted in a complex and diverse geological background for mineralization.In this study,isometric logarithmic ratio(ILR)transformations of Au,Cu,Pb,Zn,and Sb contents were performed in the1:50,000 soil geochemical data of the Jianbiannongchang area.Robust principal component analysis(RPCA)was conducted based on ILR transformation.The local singularity and spectrum-area(S-A)methods were used to extract information on mineralogic anomalies.The results showed that:(1)the transformed data eliminated the influence of the original data closure effect,and the PC1and PC2 information obtained by applying RPCA reflected ore-producing element anomalies dominated by Au and Cu.(2)The local singularity method can enhance the information of the local strong and weak slow anomalies.After performing local singularity analysis on PC1 and PC2,the obtained local anomalies reflected the local singularity spatial anomaly patterns related to Cu and Au mineralization in this area,which is an effective method for trapping ore-producing anomalies.(3)Furthermore,the composite anomaly decomposition of PC1 and PC2 was performed using the S-A method,and the screened anomalous and background fields reflect the ore-producing anomalies related to Cu and Au mineralization.This information is in agreement with known Cu and Au mineralization.(4)The geochemical anomalies with mineralization potential were obtained outside the known mineralization sites by integrating the information of oreproducing anomalies extracted by the local singularity and S-A methods,providing the theoretical basis and exploration direction for future exploration in the study area. | Zhonghai Zhao Kai Qiao Yiwen Liu Xiaomeng Cui Binbin Cheng Shanshan Liang Chenglu Li | 2023 | Acta Geochimica2023,42,2: | 1 |

| 14 | Anti-infection effects of heparin on SARS-CoV-2 in a diabetic mouse model显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARSCo V-2)infection can result in more severe syndromes and poorer outcomes in patients with diabetes and obesity.However,the precise mechanisms responsible for the combined impact of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)and diabetes have not yet been elucidated,and effective treatment options for SARS-Co V-2-infected diabetic patients remain limited.To investigate the disease pathogenesis,K18-h ACE2 transgenic(h ACE2^(Tg))mice with a leptin receptor deficiency(h ACE2-Lepr^(-/-))and high-fat diet(h ACE2-HFD)background were generated.The two mouse models were intranasally infected with a 5×10^(5) median tissue culture infectious dose(TCID_(50))of SARSCo V-2,with serum and lung tissue samples collected at 3days post-infection.The h ACE2-Lepr^(-/-)mice were then administered a combination of low-molecular-weight heparin(LMWH)(1 mg/kg or 5 mg/kg)and insulin via subcutaneous injection prior to intranasal infection with1×10^(4) TCID_(50)of SARS-Co V-2.Daily drug administration continued until the euthanasia of the mice.Analyses of viral RNA loads,histopathological changes in lung tissue,and inflammation factors were conducted.Results demonstrated similar SARS-Co V-2 susceptibility in h ACE2^(Tg)mice under both lean(chow diet)and obese(HFD)conditions.However,compared to the h ACE2-Lepr^(+/+)mice,h ACE2-Lepr^(-/-)mice exhibited more severe lung injury,enhanced expression of inflammatory cytokines and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α),and increased apoptosis.Moreover,combined LMWH and insulin treatment effectively reduced disease progression and severity,attenuated lung pathological changes,and mitigated inflammatory responses.In conclusion,preexisting diabetes can lead to more severe lung damage upon SARS-Co V-2 infection,and LMWH may be a valuable therapeutic approach for managing COVID-19patients with diabetes. | Zhongyun Zhang Ning Zhang Xuancheng Lu Min Zhou Xiaoxiang Yan Weiqiong Gu Jingru Yang Qin Zhang Cheng Zhang Yuhuan Gong Mingjun Jia Xiaoyu Zhang Peng Ning Mei Liu Xiaoyan Li Xiaomeng Shi Wenjun Liu George FGao Guang Ning Jiqiu Wang Yuhai Bi | 2023 | Zoological Research2023,44,6: | 1 |

| 17 | Construction of a high-density mutant population of Chinese cabbage facilitates the genetic dissection of agronomic traits显示文摘Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ssp.pekinensis)is an economically important vegetable crop throughout the world,especially in Asia.High-quality genome sequences are available for Chinese cabbage,but gene functional studies remain challenging.To promote functional genomic studies of Chinese cabbage,we generated an ethyl methane sulfonate(EMS)mutant population of~8000 M_(2) plants using the double haploid inbred line A03 as the parent.The genome of A03 was sequenced and used as a reference for high-throughput functional characterization of gene mutations at the whole-genome level.A total of 300 M_(2) to M_(5) EMS mutants were phenotypically screened and then sequenced,revealing 750629 SNPs and 46272 InDel mutations that cover 98.27%of all predicted genes in the A03 genome.A forward-genetics approach was successfully used to identify two genes with chloroplast-related functions that are responsible for the yellow leaf mutant trait.A reverse-genetics approach was also used to identify associations between mutations in five genes of the glucosinolate biosynthetic pathway and variations in glucosinolate content of the mutant plants.In addition,we built the Chinese cabbage EMS mutation database(CCEMD,www.bioinformaticslab.cn/EMSmutation/home)to increase the usability of this mutant population resource.In summary,we performed large-scale screening of a heading Chinese cabbage EMS mutant collection at the phenotypic and genotypic levels,which will facilitate gene mining of Chinese cabbage and might also be useful for the study of other Brassica crops. | Xiaoxue Sun Xing Li Yin Lu Shan Wang Xiaomeng Zhang Kang Zhang Xiangjie Su Mengyang Liu Daling Feng Shuangxia Luo Aixia Gu Yu Fu Xueping Chen Shuxin Xuan Yanhua Wang Donghui Xu Shumin Chen Wei Ma Shuxing Shen Feng Cheng Jianjun Zhao | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,5: | 1 |

| 19 | Evolution of microstructure and electromagnetic interference shielding performance during the ZrC precursor thermal decomposition process显示文摘A polymer-derived ZrC ceramic with excellent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding performance was developed to meet ultra-high temperature requirements.The thermal decomposition process of ZrC organic precursor was studied to reveal the evolution of phase composition,microstructure,and EMI shielding performance.Furthermore,the carbothermal reduction reaction occurred at 1300℃,and the transition from ZrO_(2) to ZrC was completed at 1700℃.With the increase in the annealing temperature,the tetragonal zirconia gradually transformed into monoclinic zirconia,and the transition was completed at the annealing temperature of 1500℃ due to the consumption of a large amount of the carbon phase.The average total shielding effectiveness values were 11.63,22.67,22.91,22.81,and 34.73 dB when the polymerderived ZrC was annealed at 900,1100,1300,1500,and 1700℃,respectively.During the thermal decomposition process,the graphitization degree and phase distribution of free carbon played a dominant role in the shielding performance.The typical core–shell structure composed of carbon and ZrC can be formed at the annealing temperature of 1700℃,which results in excellent shielding performance. | Zeli Jia Xiaomeng Fan Jiangyi He Jimei Xue Fang Ye Laifei Cheng | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,7: | 0 |
