1Influences of pouring temperature and cooling rate on microstructure and mechanical properties of casting Al-Si-Cu aluminum alloy显示文摘This paper investigated the influences of pouring temperature and cooling rate on the microstructure development and mechanical properties for casting Al-Si-Cu aluminum alloy.The microstructure of the as-cast samples was characterized by an optical microscope.The results showed that the dendrite arm spacing(DAS,λ) is well refined by pouring at a higher temperature.The λ decreases with increasing pouring temperature due to the multiplication of the nucleation sites in the superheating liquid melt,and the mechanical properties,such as microhardness and ultimate tensile strength increase correspondingly,while the elongation decreases.The relationships between microhardness and λ for the samples cooled in metal mould and sand mould,are given as HV=118.9 1.246λ and HV=115.2 1.029λ,respectively.The effects of the cooling rate controlled by using permanent mould casting and sand mould casing processes(the cooling medium is air and sand,respectively) on the dendrite arm spacing and mechanical properties are similar to the effect of the pouring temperature.Xiaowu HU Fanrong AI Hong YAN 2012Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2012,25,4:7
2Microstructure evolution of directionally solidifi ed Sn-16%Sb hyperperitectic alloy显示文摘The directionally solidifi ed microstructure of Sn-16%Sb hyperperitectic alloy has been investigated at various solidifi cation rates using a high-thermal gradient directional solidif ication apparatus. The results indicate that the solidifi cation microstructure consists of hard primary intermetallic SnSb phase embedded in a matrix of soft peritectic β-Sn phase. The primary SnSb phase exhibits faceted growth with tetragonal or trigonal shapes. At the same time, the primary SnSb phase is ref ined with an increase in the solidif ication rate and dispersed more uniformly in the matrix of β-Sn phase. 3Five-year follow-up of 23 asymmetrical Parkinson's disease patients treated with unilateral subthalamic nucleus stimulation显示文摘In this study, 23 asymmetrical Parkinson's disease patients were treated with unilateral deep brain stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus and followed up for 5 years. At 5 years after stimulation treatment, Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale II, III and axial symptom scores in the off-drug condition were significantly increased compared those at baseline. However, total Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale II, III and axial symptom scores were significantly lower with stimulation-on compared with the synchronous stimulation-off state in off-drug condition, and the motor symptoms of contralateral side limbs were effectively controlled. Only low Hoehn-Yahr stage was correlated with good long-term postoperative improvement in motor symptoms. The mean levodopa-equivalent daily dose after stimulation treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment, but dyskinesias became worse. 4Characterization on the Exfoliation Degree of Graphite Oxide into Graphene Oxide by UV-visible Spectroscopy显示文摘The exfoliation degree of graphite oxide into graphene oxide plays an important role in the massive production method of reduced graphene oxide. It is significant to find a simple and feasible method to analyze the exfoliation degree of graphite oxide. In the present work, graphite oxide was synthesized by a modified Hummers method, and then graphene oxide colloids were obtained by exfoliation of graphite oxide dispersed in de-ionized water. UV-visible spectroscopy was used to characterize the absorption of the graphene oxide colloids, and the concentration of graphene oxide colloids indicated by absorption area of UV-visible spectra was studied. 5Formation, Evolution and Final Structure of Interface in 2024Al Joints Fabricated by Explosive Welding显示文摘The wavy interface for similar or the same metal explosive welding(EXW) and the universal mechanism of wavy interface formation in EXW were studied in this work. Based on a new established model, it was deduced that the evolution frequencies of the instability were constrained in a limited range. Then experiments of identical metal EXW were performed and welding interfaces were characterized for examining the final morphology. By calculating the fractal dimensions and multifractal spectra of welding interface, the fractal characteristics of interface were revealed and a quantitative description was achieved for EXW interface structure. 6SETD8 induces stemness and epithelial–mesenchymal transition of pancreatic cancer cells by regulating ROR1 expression显示文摘Pancreatic cancer(PC)is one of the most deadly diseases,and its incidence is increasing year by year.The methyltransferase SETD8 has been demonstrated to play an important role in tumor cell proliferation and metastasis.However,little is known about whether SETD8 could affect the invasion and metastasis of PC and the mechanism underlying the regulation.Based on our previous report,here,we further found that SETD8 could promote the invasion and migration of PC cells by inducing the expression of receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1(ROR1).ROR1 was predominantly upregulated in PC tissues and was correlated with lymph node metastasis and worse prognosis.Mechanistically,SETD8 mediated ROR1 activity and regulated PC cells invasion and migration,although promoting the expression of stemness and epithelial–mesenchymal transition-related molecules.This promotion effect disappeared when the catalytically inactive mutant SETD8 was overexpressed,which could be counteracted by the SETD8-specific methyltransferase inhibitor UNC0379.Collectively,our results demonstrate that SETD8 may be a novel prognostic factor and a therapeutic target of PC.Mengqi Liu Yihua Shi Qiangsheng Hu Yi Qin Shunrong Ji Wensheng Liu Qifeng Zhuo Guixiong Fan Zeng Ye Changfeng Song Xianjun Yu Xiaowu Xu Wenyan Xu 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12:2
7FGFBPI-mediated crosstalk between fibroblasts and pancreatic cancer cells via FGF22/FGFR2 promotes invasion and metastasis of pancreatic cancer显示文摘Fibroblast growth factor-binding protein 1(FGFBP1)promotes fibroblast growth factor(FGF)activity by releasing FGFs from extracellular matrix storage.We previously reported that the tumor suppressor F-box and WD repeat domain-containing 7 suppresses FGFBP1 by reducing expression of c-Myc,which inhibits the proliferation and migration of pancreatic cancer cells.However,the potential mechanism by which FGFBP1 facilitates pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)remains unexplored.In this study,we focused on the function of FGFBP1 in the interplay between cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)and pancreatic cancer cells(PCCs).Decreased FGF22 expression was detected in CAFs co-cultured with PCCs with FGFBP1 abrogation,which was verified in the cell culture medium by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Active cytokine FGF22 significantly facilitated the migration and invasion of PANC-1 and Mia PaCa-2 cells.The number of penetrating PCCs cocultured with CAFs with FGF22 abrogation was significantly less than that of the control group.Interestingly,higher expressions of FGF22 and fibroblast growth factor receptor 2(FGFR2)were associated with worse prognosis of patients with PDAC and FGFR2,an independent prognostic marker of PDAC.The PANC-1 and Mia PaCa-2 cells with silenced FGFR2 showed weaker invasion and metastasis,even if these cells were simultaneously treated with cytokine FGF22.These results revealed that FGFBPI-mediated interaction between CAFs and PCCs via FGF22/FGFR2 facilitates the migration and invasion of PCCs.FGFR2 could act as a prognostic marker for patients with PDAC.Zheng Zhang Yi Qin Shunrong Ji Wenyan Xu Mengqi Liu Qiangsheng Hu Zeng Ye Guixiong Fan Xianjun Yu Wensheng Liu Xiaowu Xu 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,8:2

9Optimization of Grain Boundary Character Distribution in Fe-18Cr-18Mn-0.63N High-Nitrogen Austenitic Stainless Steel显示文摘Grain boundary engineering(GBE)is a practice of improving resistance to grain boundary failure of the material through increasing the proportion of low Σ coincidence site lattice(CSL)grain boundaries(special grain boundaries)in the grain boundary character distribution(GBCD).The GBCD in a cold rolled and annealed Fe-18Cr-18Mn-0.63N high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel was analyzed by electron back scatter difraction(EBSD).The results show that the optimization process of GBE in the conventional austenitic stainless steel cannot be well applied to this high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel.The percentage of lowΣCSL grain boundaries could increase from 47.3%for the solid solution treated high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel specimen to 82.0%for the specimen after 5%cold rolling reduction and then annealing at 1423 K for 10 min.These special boundaries of high proportion efectively interrupt the connectivity of conventional high angle grain boundary network and thus achieve the GBCD optimization for the high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel.Feng SHI Xiaowu LI Yutong HU Chuan SU Chunming LIU 2013Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2013,26,5:2
10Aging behavior of nano-SiC_p reinforced AZ61 magnesium matrix composites显示文摘The mechanical properties of magnesium matrix composties can be further improved by aging treatment. To study the aging behavior of SiC particles reinforced AZ61 magnesium matrix composites fabricated by ultrasonic method, an investigation has been undertaken by means of Vickers hardness measurement, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy spectrum analyzing apparatus. The box-type heat treatment furnace was used in the study. The results showed that no discontinuous cellular precipitation is observed at the grain boundaries in the magnesium matrix of the composite while the Mg17Al12 preferentially precipitates in the matrix. The time to reach the peak hardness for AZ61 alloy or SiCp/AZ61 magnesium matrix composites is reduced with the increase of aging temperature. At the same temperature, the composite exhibit an accelerated aging manner but lower aging efficiency, compared with the unreinforced matrix alloy. 11Research on lamellar structure and micro-hardness of directionally solidified Sn-58Bi eutectic alloy显示文摘In this work,the Sn-58Bi(weight percent) eutectic alloy was directionally solidified at a constant temperature gradient(G = 12 K.mm-1) with different growth rates using a Bridgman type directional solidification furnace.A lamellar microstructure was observed in the Sn-58Bi samples.The lamellar spacing and micro-hardness of longitudinal and transversal sections were measured.The values of lamellar spacing of both longitudinal and transversal sections decrease with an increase in growth rate.The microhardness increases with an increase in the growth rate and decreases with an increase in the lamellar spacing.The dependence of lamellar spacing on growth rate,and micro-hardness on both growth rate and lamellar spacing were obtained by linear regression analysis.The relationships between the lamellar spacing and growth rate,microhardness and growth rate,and micro-hardness and lamellar spacing for transversal and longitudinal sections of Sn-58Bi eutectic alloy were given.The fitted exponent values obtained in this work were compared with the previous similar experimental results and a good agreement was obtained.Hu Xiaowu Li Ke Ai Fanrong 2012China Foundry2012,9,4:1

13Design, synthesis, and fungicidal activity of novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives显示文摘Employing the intermediate derivatization method(IDM), twenty novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives containing arylpyrazoloxyl moiety were designed and synthesized. The structures of the title compounds were identified by1 H NMR,13 C NMR, MS and elemental analyses, compound 4 was further identified by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Antifungal activities against rice sheath blight(RSB) and sorghum anthracnose(SA) were evaluated by the mycelium linear growth rate method. Compounds 4, 16 and 20 displayed significant activities against RSB(EC_(50)= 0.88 mg/L, 0.91 mg/L and 0.85 mg/L, respectively),higher than the reference tebuconazole; While compound 3 exhibited higher activity against SA(EC_(50)= 1.03 mg/L), equal to commercial pyraclostrobin(EC_(50)= 1.06 mg/L). 14Effects of interfacial residual stress on mechanical behavior of SiC_(f)/SiC composites显示文摘Layer-structured interphase,existing between reinforcing fiber and ceramics matrix,is an indispensable constituent for fiber-reinforced ceramic composites due to its determinant role in the mechanical behavior of the composites.However,the interphase may suffer high residual stress because of the mismatch of thermal expansion coefficients in the constituents,and this can exert significant influence on the mechanical behavior of the composites.Here,the residual stress in the boron nitride(BN)interphase of continuous SiC fiber-reinforced SiC composites was measured using a micro-Raman spectrometer.The effects of the residual stress on the mechanical behavior of the composites were investigated by correlating the residual stress with the mechanical properties of the composites.The results indicate that the residual stress increases from 26.5 to 82.6 MPa in tension as the fabrication temperature of the composites rises from 1500 to 1650℃.Moreover,the increasing tensile residual stress leads to significant variation of tensile strain,tensile strength,and fiber/matrix debonding mode of the composites.The sublayer slipping of the interphase caused by the residual stress should be responsible for the transformation of the mechanical behavior.This work can offer important guidance for residual stress adjustment in fiber-reinforced ceramic composites.Xiaowu CHEN Guofeng CHENG Jinshan YANG Jianbao HU Chunjin LIAO Xiangyu ZHANG Shaoming DONG 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,1:0
15MEN1 promotes ferroptosis by inhibiting mTOR-SCD1 axis in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors显示文摘Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor(pNET)is the second most common malignant tumors of the pancreas.Multiple endocrine neoplasia 1(MEN1)is the most frequently mutated gene in pNETs and MEN1-encoded protein,menin,is a scaffold protein that interacts with transcription factors and chromatin-modifying proteins to regulate various signaling pathways.However,the role of MEN1 in lipid metabolism has not been studied in pNETs.In this study,we perform targeted metabolomics analysis and find that MEN1 promotes the generation and oxidation of polyunsaturated fat acids(PUFAs).Meanwhile lipid peroxidation is a hallmark of ferroptosis,and we confirm that MEN1 promotes ferroptosis by inhibiting the activation of mTOR signaling which is the central hub of metabolism.We show that stearoyl-coA desaturase(SCD1)is the downstream of MEN1-mTOR signaling and oleic acid(OA),a metabolite of SCD1,recues the lipid peroxidation caused by MEN1 overexpression.The negative correlation between MEN1 and SCD1 is further verified in clinical specimens.Furthermore,we find that BON-1 and QGP-1 cells with MEN1 overexpression are more sensitive to everolimus,a widely used drug in pNETs that targets mTOR signaling.In addition,combined use everolimus with ferroptosis inducer,RSL3,possesses a more powerful ability to kill cells,which may provide a new strategy for the comprehensive therapy of pNETs.Zeng Ye Haidi Chen Shunrong Ji Yuheng Hu Xin Lou Wuhu Zhang Desheng Jing Guixiong Fan Yue Zhang Xuemin Chen Qifeng Zhuo Jie Chen Xiaowu Xu Xianjun Yu Jin Xu Yi Qin Heli Gao 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,11:0
16Vacuum wetting of Ag/TA2 to develop a novel micron porous Ti with significant biocompatibility and antibacterial activity显示文摘Porous Ti with low modulus,excellent bio-corrosion resistance,biocompatibility,and antibacterial activity is highly pursued as advanced implant materials.In this work,a new approach to prepare micron porous structures on the surface layer of a grade 2 commercially-pure Ti(TA2)was proposed,which utilized a simple vacuum wetting process of pure Ag on the surface of TA2.The microstructure,corrosion resistance,biocompatibility,mechanical properties,antibacterial ability,and formation mechanism of the asfabricated porous Ti were studied.The results show that the pores(with average pore sizes of 0.5-5μm)are distributed on the surface layer of the TA2 with a depth of~10μm.In particular,a large number of silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs)form which are dispersed on the porous structures.The formation mechanisms of the porous structures and Ag NPs were elucidated,suggesting that the volatilization/sublimation of Ag in TA2 is crucial.The porous Ti possesses excellent bio-corrosion resistance,surface wettability,biocompatibility,antibacterial activity,and a relatively low elastic modulus of 40-55 GPa,which may have a promising future in the field of orthopedic implants.This work also provides a novel idea for the development of advanced porous Ti materials for orthopedic-related basic research and biomedical applications.Guanpeng Liu Yulong Li Ming Yan Jicai Feng Jian Cao Min Lei Quanwen Liu Xiaowu Hu Wenqin Wang Xuewen Li 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,21:0
17Novel learning framework for optimal multi-object video trajectory tracking显示文摘Background With the rapid development of Web3D, virtual reality, and digital twins, virtual trajectories and decision data considerably rely on the analysis and understanding of real video data, particularly in emergency evacuation scenarios. Correctly and effectively evacuating crowds in virtual emergency scenarios are becoming increasingly urgent. One good solution is to extract pedestrian trajectories from videos of emergency situations using a multi-target tracking algorithm and use them to define evacuation procedures. Methods To implement this solution, a trajectory extraction and optimization framework based on multi-target tracking is developed in this study. First, a multi-target tracking algorithm is used to extract and preprocess the trajectory data of the crowd in a video. Then, the trajectory is optimized by combining the trajectory point extraction algorithm and Savitzky-Golay smoothing filtering method. Finally, related experiments are conducted, and the results show that the proposed approach can effectively and accurately extract the trajectories of multiple target objects in real time. Results In addition, the proposed approach retains the real characteristics of the trajectories as much as possible while improving the trajectory smoothing index, which can provide data support for the analysis of pedestrian trajectory data and formulation of personnel evacuation schemes in emergency scenarios. 18Expression of gastrin and cholecystokinin B receptor in Lateolabrax maculatus显示文摘Gastrin(gas)is a peptide hormone that stimulates gastric acid secretion by gastric parietal cells and stimulates gastric motility.The cholecystokinin B receptor(cckbr)can act as a receptor for gastrin,conveying regulatory information on gastrin,but there are fewer studies on its function in fish.The Lateolabrax maculatus is one of the marine aquaculture species in China,it widely distribute in coastal areas.In the study,we cloned the genes of Lateolabrax maculatus gastrin(Lm-gas)and Lateolabrax maculatus cholecystokinin B receptor(Lm-cckbr).The results showed that the full-length gene of Lm-gas is 638bp and the carboxy-terminal conserved domain(DFGRR)is the core functional domain of gastrin protein.The Lm-cckbr gene has a total nucleotide sequence of 2066 bp,and the open reading frame encodes a total of 453 amino acids.The result of protein sequence alignment showed that the similarity between Lm-cckbr protein and other different species was 50.11%-89.67%.The PCR results showed that Lm-gas and Lm-cckbr were expressed in brain and stomach.Further localization by immunehistochemical staining showed that Lm-gas protein was located in the mucosal layer of the gastric wall,but the expression signal was weak in the brain.Hunger causeed a significant decrease in these two genes.The results provided basic research data for further study on the function of Lm-gas and its recepter Lm-cckbr in the in the central nervous system and digestive system of Lateolabrax maculatus.Tingwen Cui Jiaqi Wang Zhongjun Hu Xiaowu Chen 2023Aquaculture and Fisheries2023,8,5:0
19Evolution of TWIN SISTER of FT(TSF) Genes in Brassicaceae显示文摘FT and its homolog, TWIN SISTER OF FT(TSF), act redundantly as integrators in flora transition pathways in Arabidopsis thaliana. The evolution of these key fl wering regulatory genes during Brassicaceae speciation has not been well studied; therefore, we investigated their evolution in 13 sequenced Brassicaceae species. While the phylogenetic analysis indicated that FT gene evolution has followed two independent lineagespecifi routes, TSF evolution does not appear to have been completely consistent within the Brassicaceae lineage I and lineage II division. The two TSF copies in the Thellungiella genus were divided into A and B groups in the phylogenetic analysis. Examination of conserved non-coding sequences and conserved domains within a 5 kb region upstream of the TSF start codon revealed the same group division inferred by the phylogenetic analysis. In addition, TSF genes retained syntenic relationships among genes in the same group, but not between group A and group B.The two copies of the TSF gene in the Thellungiella species were syntenic to the TSF genes in group A and group B, respectively. We also identifie TSF-A gene residues in the syntenic region of group B species, but no TSF-B residues could be found in the group A syntenic region. Therefore,we inferred that the TSF genes in lineage II species experienced a duplication event after diversificatio from lineage I. 20Stability analysis for semi-Markovian switched stochastic systems with asynchronously impulsive jumps显示文摘The almost surely(a.s.)exponential stability is studied for semi-Markovian switched stochastic systems with randomly impulsive jumps.We start from the case that switches and impulses occur synchronously,in which the impulsive switching signal is a semi-Markovian process.For the case that switches and impulses occur asynchronously,the impulsive arrival time sequence and the types of jump maps are driven by a renewal process and a Markov chain,respectively.By applying the multiple Lyapunov function approach,sufficient conditions of exponential stability a.s.are obtained based upon the ergodic property of semi-Markovian process.The validity of the proposed theoretical results is demonstrated by a numerical example.Xiaowu MU Zenghui HU 2021Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,1:0
