| 1 | New incompatible pair of TCM:Epimedii Folium combined with Psoraleae Fructus induces idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity under immunological stress conditions显示文摘Epimedii Folium(EF)combined with Psoraleae Fructus(PF)is a common modern preparation,but liver injury caused by Chinese patent medicine preparations containing EF and PF has been frequently reported in recent years.Zhuangguguanjiewan pills(ZGW),which contain EF and PF,could induce immune idiosyncratic liver injury according to clinical case reports and a nonhepatotoxic dose of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)model.This present study evaluated the liver injury induced by EF or PF alone or in combination and investigated the related mechanism by using the LPS model.Liver function indexes and pathological results showed that either EF or PF alone or in combination led to liver injury in normal rats;however,EF or PF alone could lead to liver injury in LPS-treated rats.Moreover,EF combined with PF could induce a greater degree of injury than that caused by EF or PF alone in LPS-treated rats.Furthermore,EF or PF alone or in combination enhanced the LPS-stimulated inflammatory cytokine production,implying that IL-1β,which is processed and released by activating the NLRP3 inflammasome,is a specific indicator of EF-induced immune idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity.Thus,EF may induce liver injury through enhancing the LPS-mediated proinflammatory cytokine production and activating the NLRP3 inflammasome.In addition,the metabolomics analysis results showed that PF affected more metabolites in glycerophospholipid and sphingolipid metabolic pathways compared with EF in LPS model,suggesting that PF increased the responsiveness of the liver to LPS or other inflammatory mediators via modulation of multiple metabolic pathways.Therefore,EF and PF combination indicates traditional Chinese medicine incompatibility,considering that it induces idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity under immunological stress conditions. | Yuan Gao Zhilei Wang Jinfa Tang Xiaoyi Liu Wei Shi Nan Qin Xiaoyan Wang Yu Pang Ruisheng Li Yaming Zhang Jiabo Wang Ming Niu Zhaofang Bai Xiaohe Xiao | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,1: | 32 |
| 2 | Single-shot BOTDA based on an optical chirp chain probe wave for distributed ultrafast measurement显示文摘Brillouin optical time-domain analysis(BOTDA)requires frequency mapping of the Brillouin spectrum to obtain environmental information(e.g.,temperature or strain)over the length of the sensing fiber,with the finite frequencysweeping time-limiting applications to only static or slowly varying strain or temperature environments.To solve this problem,we propose the use of an optical chirp chain probe wave to remove the requirement of frequency sweeping for the Brillouin spectrum,which enables distributed ultrafast strain measurement with a single pump pulse.The optical chirp chain is generated using a frequency-agile technique via a fast-frequency-changing microwave,which covers a larger frequency range around the Stokes frequency relative to the pump wave,so that a distributed Brillouin gain spectrum along the fiber is realized.Dynamic strain measurements for periodic mechanical vibration,mechanical shock,and a switch event are demonstrated at sampling rates of 25 kHz,2.5 MHz and 6.25 MHz,respectively.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first demonstration of distributed Brillouin strain sensing with a wide-dynamic range at a sampling rate of up to the MHz level. | Dengwang Zhou Yongkang Dong Benzhang Wang Chao Pang Dexin Ba Hongying Zhang Zhiwei Lu Hui Li Xiaoyi Bao | 2018 | Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1: | 11 |
| 3 | Towards Task-Free Privacy-Preserving Data Collection显示文摘With the rapid developments of Internet of Things(IoT)and proliferation of embedded devices,large volume of personal data are collected,which however,might carry massive private information about attributes that users do not want to share.Many privacy-preserving methods have been proposed to prevent privacy leakage by perturbing raw data or extracting task-oriented features at local devices.Unfortunately,they would suffer from significant privacy leakage and accuracy drop when applied to other tasks as they are designed and optimized for predefined tasks.In this paper,we propose a novel task-free privacy-preserving data collection method via adversarial representation learning,called TF-ARL,to protect private attributes specified by users while maintaining data utility for unknown downstream tasks.To this end,we first propose a privacy adversarial learning mechanism(PAL)to protect private attributes by optimizing the feature extractor to maximize the adversary’s prediction uncertainty on private attributes,and then design a conditional decoding mechanism(ConDec)to maintain data utility for downstream tasks by minimizing the conditional reconstruction error from the sanitized features.With the joint learning of PAL and ConDec,we can learn a privacy-aware feature extractor where the sanitized features maintain the discriminative information except privacy.Extensive experimental results on real-world datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of TF-ARL. | Zhibo Wang Wei Yuan Xiaoyi Pang Jingxin Li Huajie Shao | 2022 | China Communications2022,19,7: | 0 |
| 4 | Effect of Climate Changing in Kunming in Recent 65 Years and Technical Analysis of Sponge City Construction显示文摘By analyzing the climate records of Kunming from 1957 to 2016, Kunming’s average temperature has been found to be increasing in recent 65 years. The key problem lies in the temperature rise in recent 10 or more years by 0.4 ℃/10a and the annual range decrease at the same time, represented as the elevation of the lowest temperature and increasingly warmer winter in Kunming. With the warming climate, the precipitation has suffered a prominent fall, by 18.05 mm/a in the past 14 years. The relative humidity is in direct proportion to the precipitation, which explains less water and drier climate in Kunming. With “One increase and two decreases” of the three key climate indexes changes in Kunming in the past 65 years, this paper analyzed the necessity and general situation of the sponge city construction in the city, proposed the overall planning of sponge city construction at the macro level, selected the sponge technology based on the urban construction land types, and planned the regulation facilities based on the catchment area and green space structure.
