| 1 | Correlation of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome with metabolic syndrome in snorers显示文摘Though obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) and metabolic syndrome(MS) are correlated;the contributing factors for the occurrence of MS in Chinese snorers remain largely undefined.We aimed to investigate the associated pathogenesis of coexistence of OSAHS and MS in Chinese snorers.A total of 144 Chinese habitual snorers were divided into 3 groups,the control group(simple snorers)(n = 36),the mild OSAHS group(n= 52)and the moderate-to-severe OSAHS group(n = 56).The incidence of MS in the moderate-to-severe OSAHS group(26.8%) was significantly higher than that in the control group(8.3%),the mild OSAHS group(11.1%) and all the OSAHS patients(19.45%)(all P < 0.05).Homeostatic model assessment(HOMA) index and proinsulin(PI) were negatively correlated with nocturnal meanSpO_2 and miniSpO_2.Meanwhile,nocturnal SpO_2 were negatively correlated with body mass index,waist and neck circumferences and diastolic blood pressure,but positively correlated with total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.The study indicated that in Chinese snorers,moderate-to-severe OSAHS was closely associated with MS via nocturnal hypoxemia. | Qun Zhang Xiaofeng Zhang Mengmeng Zhao Hanpeng Huang Ning Ding Xilong Zhang Hong Wang | 2014 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,3: | 2 |

| 3 | Estimating submarine groundwater discharge at a subtropical river estuary along the Beibu Gulf,China显示文摘In certain regions,submarine groundwater discharge(SGD)into the ocean plays a significant role in coastal material fluxes and their biogeochemical cycle;therefore,the impact of SGD on the ecosystem cannot be ignored.In this study,SGD was estimated using naturally occurring radium isotopes(^(223)Ra and ^(224)Ra)in a subtropical estuary along the Beibu Gulf,China.The results showed that the Ra activities of submarine groundwater were approximately 10 times higher than those of surface water.By assuming a steady state and using an Ra mass balance model,the SGD flux in May 2018 was estimated to be 5.98×10^(6) m^(3)/d and 3.60×10^(6) m^(3)/d based on 224Ra and 223Ra,respectively.At the same time,the activities of Ra isotopes fluctuated within a tidal cycle;that is,a lower activity was observed at high tide and a higher activity was seen at low tide.Based on these variations,the average tidal pumping fluxes of SGD were 1.15×10^(6) m^(3)/d and 2.44×10^(6) m^(3)/d with 224Ra and 223Ra,respectively.Tidaldriven SGD accounts for 24%-51%of the total SGD.Therefore,tidal pumping is an important driving force of the SGD in the Dafengjiang River(DFJR)Estuary.Furthermore,the SGD of the DFJR Estuary in the coastal zone contributes significantly to the seawater composition of the Beibu Gulf and the material exchange between land and sea. | Xilong Wang Kaijun Su Juan Du Linwei Li Yanling Lao Guizhen Ning Li Bin | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,9: | 1 |
| 4 | Relationship between Precipitation Characteristics and Solar Activity in Fuxin from 1951 to 2019显示文摘Based on the monthly precipitation data in Fuxin from 1951 to 2019,the M-K and Pettitt mutation test,Morlet wavelet analysis,CWT,XWT and WTC methods were used to study the correlation between precipitation and sunspots in Fuxin in the past 69 years.The results show that from 1951 to 2019,only the spring precipitation in Fuxin showed an upward trend,and annual precipitation,the precipitation in the other three seasons and the annual number of sunspots all showed a relatively obvious downward trend.The first main cycles of annual precipitation,the annual number of sunspots,spring,summer,autumn and winter precipitation were quasi-28,quasi-16,quasi-51,quasi-51,quasi-27 and quasi-11 years,respectively.Annual precipitation,the annual number of sunspots,spring,summer,autumn and winter precipitation changed suddenly in 1980,2005,2005,1980,1992 and 1980,respectively.Both annual precipitation and seasonal precipitation had a relatively obvious resonance cycle of 5-15 years with sunspots,indicating that there was a good correlation between the annual number of sunspots and annual precipitation on an interannual scale. | Haiyan SHU Jianing BAI Zhenyu ZHAO Ning LI Qian TAO Xilong NING Nannan WAN | 2022 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2022,13,5: | 0 |
