| 1 | Glass modified barium strontium titanate ceramics for energy storage capacitor at elevated temperatures显示文摘A glass with composition of B_(2)O_(3)-Bi_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-CaO-BaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-ZrO_(2)(BBSZ)modified Ba_(x)Sr_(1-x)TiO_(3)(BST,x=0.3 and 0.4)ceramics were prepared by a conventional solid state reaction method abided by a formula of BST+y%BBSZ(y=0,2,4,7,and 10,in mass).The effect of BBSZ glass content on the structure,dielectric properties and energy storage characteristics of the ceramics was investigated.The dielectric constant reduced but the endurable electrical strength enhanced due to the BBSZ glass addition in BST ceramics.In particular,the dielectric loss of the ceramics at elevated temperature(e.g.200℃)can be strongly suppressed from tanδ>20%to tanδ<3% after BBSZ glass modification.For Ba_(0.3)Sr_(0.7)TiO_(3)+2%BBSZ ceramics,an optimized energy storage density(γ=0.63 J/cm^(3))and efficiency(η=91.6%)under an applied electric field of 160 kV/cm was obtained at room temperature.Meanwhile,the temperature dependent polarization-electric field(P-E)hysteresis loops were measured to evaluate the energy storage characteristics of the ceramics potential for high voltage capacitor application at elevated temperatures. | Zong-Yang Shen Yu Wang Yanxue Tang Yuanying Yu Wen-Qin Luo Xingcai Wang Yueming Li Zhumei Wang Fusheng Song | 2019 | Journal of Materiomics2019,5,4: | 9 |
| 2 | Growth of covellite crystal onto azurite surface during sulfurization and its response to flotation behavior显示文摘In this work,the growth of copper sulfide crystal onto azurite surfaces during sulfurization and its response to flotation are investigated.Filed emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(FESEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) studies confirmed that the sulfurization of azurite is not limited to the mineral surface,but rather penetrates into the bulk to form covellite crystal(synCuS),creating favorable conditions for the stable adsorption of xanthate and greatly promoting the azurite flotation.Additionally,as demonstrated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(TOF-SIMS) analyses,a redox reaction occurred during this process,and Cu(Ⅱ) onto the mineral surface was reduced to Cu(Ⅰ).Correspondingly,reduced S^(2-) was oxidized to(S_(2))^(2-),(S_n)^(-2),and even to deeper oxidation state S~0,(S_(x)O_(y))^(n-) and SO_(4)^(2-).Excess sodium sulfide strengthens copper sulfide to form onto the azurite surface,and provides enough raw material for crystal copper sulfide to grow,resulting in the formation of 'flake-like' covellite with a better crystallinity.However,the floatability of azurite decreased dramatically under this condition,because the generated massive colloidal copper sulfide in flotation pulp deteriorates the flotation environment,resulting in a decreased effective adsorption of collector onto azurite surfaces. | Jinpeng Cai Peilun Shen Dianwen Liu Xiaolin Zhang Jianjun Fang Chao Su Xingcai Yu Jiangli Li Han Wang | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6: | 4 |
| 3 | An experimental and modeling study of n-hexadecane autoignition under low-to-intermediate temperatures显示文摘N-hexadecane is a potential candidate of diesel surrogate fuels and is also the largest linear alkane(n-alkanes)with known chemical kinetic models.The objective of this study is to investigate the autoignition characteristics of n-hexadecane in the lowto-intermediate temperature region and to validate the existing kinetic models.In this study,the ignition delay times(IDTs)of nhexadecane were measured using a heated rapid compression machine(RCM)at two pressures of 7 and 10 bar,and over equivalence ratios ranging from 0.5 to 1.3.Two-stage ignition characteristic and the negative temperature coefficient(NTC)behavior of total ignition delay time were experimentally captured.This study paid special attention to the influence of pressure,equivalence ratio,and oxygen content on the IDTs of n-hexadecane.It is observed that both the total IDTs and the first-stage IDTs decrease with the rise of those parameters.It is worth noting that the first-stage IDT is found to show a greater dependence on temperature but a weaker dependence on other parameters compared to the total IDT.The observed IDT dependence in the lowtemperature region(LTR)were quantitatively described by ignition delay time correlations.The newly measured IDTs were then validated against two kinetic models(LLNL and CRECK).Simulation results show that both models underpredict the first-stage IDT but generally capture the temperature dependence.The CRECK model well predicts the total IDTs of n-hexadecane while the LLNL model significantly underpredicts the total IDTs at most investigated conditions.To the best of our knowledge,this study is the first investigation on n-hexadecane autoignition under low-to-intermediate temperatures,which deepens the understanding of large n-alkane oxidation and contributes to the improvement of the existing kinetic models. | YU Liang WANG WenYu WANG SiXu FENG Yuan QIAN Yong LU XingCai | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,5: | 2 |
| 4 | Role of ammonium sulfate in sulfurization flotation of azurite:Inhibiting the formation of copper sulfide colloid and its mechanism显示文摘In this study,the role of(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)during the sulfurization of azurite and its response to flotation were investigated.The flotation results showed that adding(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)prior to sulfurization decreased the formation of colloid in flotation pulp,and the floatability of the suppressed azurite caused by excess sodium sulfide was restored.After adding(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)prior to sulfurization,the formation of Cu(NH_(3))_(n) ^(2+)intermediate products changed the path of the sulfurization reaction,which slowed the direct impact of HSon the azurite surface.The nucleation rate was reduced,and the growth of copper sulfide crystal was improved.Covellite(syn,CuS)with larger crystal grains was formed on the azurite surface,thereby enhancing the mechanical stability of copper sulfide products onto the mineral surface.Therefore,the generated copper sulfide colloid significantly reduced,ultimately promoting the effective adsorption of xanthate on the azurite surface. | Jinpeng Cai Chao Su Yinyu Ma Xingcai Yu Rong Peng Jiangli Li Xiaolin Zhang Jianjun Fang Peilun Shen Dianwen Liu | 2022 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,3: | 2 |
| 5 | Experimental study on impacts of fuel type on thermo-acoustic instability in a gas turbine model combustor显示文摘Effects of liquid fuel composition variations on characteristics of self-excited thermo-acoustic instabilities in a lean premixed,pre-vaporized gas turbine model combustor were experimentally studied.Test fuels included practical RP-3 jet fuel and its blending with iso-octane and n-dodecane,which were branched and linear alkanes respectively.Under the test conditions,dynamic pressure measurements indicated that the dominant instability frequency was highest for RP-3 flame,while RP-3/ndodecane flame exhibited the strongest instability strength.A further analysis showed that the instability frequency correlated well with the profiles of adiabatic flame temperature,and the strength of the instability highly depended on the ignition delay times of the fuels.Measurements of the flame structure and flow field with OH*chemiluminescence (CL) imaging and twodimensional particle image velocimetry (PIV) techniques indicated that changes in the fuel composition did not alter the unstable modes and general sequences of flame-flow structure oscillations.Further power spectra and proper orthogonal decomposition(POD) analysis suggested that axial oscillations along with precessing vortex core (PVC) induced helical motion predominated periodic flame structure and flow field oscillations. | RUAN Can CHEN FeiEr YU Tao CAI WeiWei HE ZhuoYao MAO YeBing LI XinLing LU XingCai | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,6: | 1 |

| 11 | Microfluidic chemostatic bioreactor for high-throughput screening and sustainable co-harvesting of biomass and biodiesel in microalgae显示文摘As a renewable and sustainable source for energy,environment,and biomedical applications,microalgae and microalgal biodiesel have attracted great attention.However,their applications are confined due to the cost-efficiency of microalgal mass production.One-step strategy and continuous culturing systems could be solutions.However,current studies for optimization throughout microalgae-based biofuel production pipelines are generally derived from the batch culture process.Better tools are needed to study algal growth kinetics in continuous systems.A microfluidic chemostatic bioreactor was presented here,providing low-bioadhesive cultivations for algae in a cooperative environment of gas,nutrition,and temperature(GNT)involved with high throughput.The chip was used to mimic the continuous culture environment of bioreactors.It allowed simultaneously studying of 8×8 different chemostatic conditions on algal growth and oil production in parallel on a 7×7 cm^(2)footprint.On-chip experiments of batch and continuous cultures of Chlorella.sp.were performed to study growth and lipid accumulation under different nitrogen concentrations.The results demonstrated that microalgal cultures can be regulated to grow and accumulate lipids concurrently,thus enhancing lipid productivity in one step.The developed on-chip culturing condition screening,which was more suitable for continuous bioreactor,was achieved at a half shorter time,64-times higher throughput,and less reagent consumption.It could be used to establish chemostat cultures in continuous bioreactors which can dramatically accelerate the development of renewable and sustainable algal for CO_(2)fixation and biosynthesis and related systems for advanced sustainable energy,food,pharmacy,and agriculture with enormous social and ecological benefits. | Guoxia Zheng Yutong Cui Ling Lu Ming Guo Xuejun Hu Lin Wang Shuping Yu Shenxia Sun Yuancheng Li Xingcai Zhang Yunhua Wang | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,7: | 0 |
