2Assessment of Bisphenol A(BPA) neurotoxicity in vitro with mouse embryonic stem cells显示文摘The adverse effects of environmental pollution on our well-being have been intensively studied with many in vitro and in vivo systems. In our group, we focus on stem cell toxicology due to the multitude of embryonic stem cell(ESC) properties which can be exerted in toxicity assays. In fact, ESCs can differentiate in culture to mimic embryonic development in vivo, or specifically to virtually any kind of somatic cells. Here, we used the toxicant Bisphenol A(BPA), a chemical known as a hazard to infants and children, and showed that our stem cell toxicology system was able to efficiently recapitulate most of the toxic effects of BPA previously detected by in vitro system or animal tests. The characteristics of this new entangled representation and its application in quantum teleportation are analyzed in detail. These results indicate that such real parameters |〉 indeed make up a new entangled representation owing to its completeness and orthogonal relation. 4Generalized two-mode coherent-entangled state with real parameters显示文摘The coherent-entangled state |α, x; λ> with real parameters λ is proposed in the two-mode Fock space, which exhibits the properties of both the coherent and entangled states. The completeness relation of |α, x; λ> is proved by virtue of the technique of integral within an ordered product of operators. The corresponding squeezing operator is derived, with its own squeezing properties. Furthermore, generalized P-representation in the coherent-entangled state is constructed. 5Recent progress of amine modified sorbents for capturing CO2 from flue gas显示文摘Under the Paris agreement, China has committed to reducing CO_2 emissions by 60%–65% per unit of GDP by 2030.Since CO_2 emissions from coal-fired power plants currently account for over 30% of the total carbon emissions in China, it will be necessary to mitigate at least some of these emissions to achieve this goal. Studies by the International Energy Agency(IEA) indicate CCS technology has the potential to contribute 14% of global emission reductions, followed by 40% of higher energy efficiency and 35% of renewable energy, which is considered as the most promising technology to significantly reduce carbon emissions for current coal-fired power plants.Moreover, the announcement of a Chinese national carbon trading market in late 2017 signals an opportunity for the commercial deployment of CO_2 capture technologies.Currently, the only commercially demonstrated technology for post-combustion CO_2 capture technology from power plants is solvent-based absorption. While commercially viable, the costs of deploying this technology are high. This has motivated efforts to develop more affordable alternatives, including advanced solvents, membranes,and sorbent capture systems. Of these approaches, advanced solvents have received the most attention in terms of research and demonstration. In contrast, sorbent capture technology has less attention, despite its potential for much lower energy consumption due to the absence of water in the sorbent. This paper reviews recent progress in the development of sorbent materials modified by amine functionalities with an emphasis on material characterization methods and the effects of operating conditions on performance. 6Abundant Production of Reactive Water Radical Cations under Ambient Conditions显示文摘Water radical cations,the crucial intermediates in many aqueous reactions and biochemical processes,are difficult to investigate experimentally due to their short lifetime andlowabundance.Herein,ahomemade device based on energy-tunable discharge was employed to deposit suitable amounts of energy to atmospheric pressure pure water vapor for abundant production of water radical cations,stabilized as(H_(2)O)n^(+·)(n=2-5)with a maximal abundance of≥8.3×10^(6) cps for(H_(2)O)_(2)^(+·),characterized by mass spectrometry(MS).The abundance of water radical cations was optimized by adjusting the experimental parameters such as the discharge voltage(2.5 kV),temperature of the MS inlet(140℃),carrier gas flow(20mL/min),and the distance between the discharge tip and MS inlet(12 mm).The ambient formation of water radical cationswas further confirmedby thehigh reactivity of as-prepared water radical cations,which reacted with benzene,ethyl acetate,and dimethyl disulfide instantly,showing rich chemistry with ionic and radical characteristics.Moreover,the computations usingCCSD(T)//MP2 method and density functional theory confirmed that the O-O single-electron bound dimer(B),as well as the hydronium hydroxyl radical complex(A),accounted for the unusual chemistry of the water radical cations,providing a facile approach to access the high reactivity ofwater radical cations under the ambient conditions.Meng Wang Xiao-Fei Gao Rui Su Peng He Yuan-Yuan Cheng Ke Li Dongbo Mi Xiaoping Zhang Xinglei Zhang Huanwen Chen R.Graham Cooks 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,4:3
7The Trace Element Distribution Patterns of Ediacaran-Early Cambrian Black Shales and the Origin of Selenium in the Guangning Area, Western Guangdong Province, South China显示文摘The Ediacaran and early Cambrian black shales are widespread across the South China Craton(Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks). However, the trace element distribution patterns of the Ediacaran and early Cambrian black shales in the Cathaysia Block are still unclear. In this study, thirtyfour black shale samples in the Lechangxia Group(Ediacaran) and thirteen black shale samples in the lower Bacun Group(early Cambrian) from Guangning area, western Guangdong Province, South China, were analyzed for major and trace elements concentrations. Compared to the upper continental crust, the Ediacaran black shales exhibit strongly enriched Se, Ga, and As with enrichment factor values(EF) higher than 10, significantly enriched Bi and Rb(10>EF>5), weakly enriched Mo, Ba, Cs, V, In, Be, Tl, and Th(5>EF>2), normal U, Cr, Cd, Sc, Pb, Cu, and Li(2>EF>0.5), and depleted Ni, Zn, Sr, and Co. Early Cambrian black shales display strongly enriched Se, Ga, and As, significantly enriched Ba, Bi, and Rb, weakly enriched Mo, Cs, Cd, V, U, Be, In, and Tl, normal Sc, Th, Cr, Li, Cu, Ni, and Pb and depleted Co, Zn, and Sr. Moreover, Se is the most enriched trace element in the Ediacaran and early Cambrian black shales: concentrations vary from 0.25 to 30.09 ppm and 0.54 to 5.01 ppm, and averaging 4.84 and 1.72 ppm, with average EF values of 96.87 and 34.32, for the Ediacaran and early Cambrian shales respectively. The average concentration of Se in the Ediacaran black shales is 2.8 times higher than that of early Cambrian black shales. Se contents in the Ediacaran and early Cambrian black shales exhibit significant variation(P = 0.03). Provenance analysis showed that Se contents of both the Ediacaran and early Cambrian black shales were without detrital provenance and volcanoclastic sources, but of hydrothermal origin. The deep sources of Se and the presence of pyrite may explain the higher Se contents in the Ediacaran black shales. Similar with the Se-rich characteristics of the contemporaneous black shales in the south Qingling Mountain and Yangtze block, the Ediacaran and early Cambrian black shales in Guangning area, Cathaysia, are also enriched in Se, which may provide a clue for looking for the selenium-rich resources in western Guangdong Province.TIAN Xinglei LUO Kunli Andrew V.ZUZA 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,6:3
8Remote Sensing Image Classification Based on Decision Tree in the Karst Rocky Desertification Areas: A Case Study of Kaizuo Township显示文摘Karst rocky desertification is a phenomenon of land degradation as a result of affection by the interaction of natural and human factors.In the past,in the rocky desertification areas,supervised classification and unsupervised classification are often used to classify the remote sensing image.But they only use pixel brightness characteristics to classify it.So the classification accuracy is low and can not meet the needs of practical application.Decision tree classification is a new technology for remote sensing image classification.In this study,we select the rocky desertification areas Kaizuo Township as a case study,use the ASTER image data,DEM and lithology data,by extracting the normalized difference vegetation index,ratio vegetation index,terrain slope and other data to establish classification rules to build decision trees.In the ENVI software support,we access the classification images.By calculating the classification accuracy and kappa coefficient,we find that better classification results can be obtained,desertification information can be extracted automatically and if more remote sensing image bands used,higher resolution DEM employed and less errors data reduced during processing,classification accuracy can be improve further.Shuyong MA Xinglei ZHU Yulun AN 2014Asian Agricultural Research2014,6,7:2

10Coupled Tamm plasmon polaritons induced narrow bandpass filter with ultra-wide stopband显示文摘Narrow bandpass filters(NBPFs)play important roles in optics,such as quantum communication,spectrometer,and wavelength division multiplexing.However,the stopband and restraint ability of traditional NBPFs is limited.In this article,a coupled Tamm plasmon polaritons(TPPs)induced transmission theory has been proposed to design high-efficiency NBPFs with ultra-wide deep stopbands.An NBPF at 1.55 μm has been experimentally demonstrated with full width at half maximum(FWHM)of 10 nm and stopband ranging from 0.2 to 25 μm which is 62 times wider than that of traditional ones.Furthermore,the restraint depth of the stopband reaches 0.03%,which is only 1/20 of a traditional filter with the same FWHM.Its advantage in restraining ambient light over traditional ones has also been demonstrated with an InGaAs infrared detector.It provides a very powerful way to capture specific narrowband optical signals from ultra-wide strong ambient light,especially useful for daytime quantum communications.Qingquan Liu Xinchao Zhao Chenlu Li Xinglei Zhou Yu Chen Shaowei Wang Wei Lu 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:2

12Numerical Modelling for Dynamic Instability Process of Submarine Soft Clay Slopes Under Seismic Loading显示文摘Marine geological disasters occurred frequently in the deep-water slope area of the northern South China Sea,especially submarine landslides,which caused serious damage to marine facilities.The cyclic elastoplastic model that can describe the cyclic stress-strain response characteristic for soft clay,is embedded into the coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian(CEL)algorithm of ABAQUS by means of subroutine interface technology.On the basis of CEL technique and undrained cyclic elastoplastic model,a method for analyzing the dynamic instability process of marine slopes under the action of earthquake load is developed.The rationality for cyclic elastoplastic constitutive model is validated by comparing its calculated results with those of von Mises model built in Abaqus.The dynamic instability process of slopes under different conditions are analyzed.The results indicate that the deformation accumulation of soft clay have a significant effect on the dynamic instability process of submarine slopes under earthquake loading.The cumulative deformation is taken into our model and this makes the calculated final deformation of the slope under earthquake load larger than the results of conventional numerical method.When different contact conditions are used for analysis,the smaller the friction coefficient is,the larger the deformation of slopes will be.A numerical analysis method that can both reflect the dynamic properties of soft clay and display the dynamic instability process of submarine landslide is proposed,which could visually predict the topographies of the previous and post failure for submarine slope.MI Yang WANG Jianhua CHENG Xinglei YAN Xiaowei 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,5:1
13Post-combustion slipstream CO_(2)-capture test facility at Jiangyou Power Plant,Sichuan,China:facility design and validation using 30% wt monoethanolamine(MEA)testing显示文摘Given the dominant share of coal in China’s energy-generation mix and the fact that>50% of the power plants in the country are currently<15 years old,efforts to significantly reduce China’s CO_(2) footprint will require the deployment of CO_(2) capture across at least part of its fleet of coal-fired power plants.CO_(2)-capture technology is reaching commercial maturity,but it is still necessary to adapt the technology to regional conditions,such as power-plant design and flexible operation in the China context.Slipstream facilities provide valuable field data to support the commercialization of CO_(2) capture.We have built a slipstream facility at Jiangyou power plant in Sichuan that will allow us to explore China-relevant issues,especially flexible operation,over the next few years.We plan to share our results with the broader CO_(2)-capture and CO_(2)-storage(CCS)community to accelerate the deployment of CCS in China.This paper describes the design of the slipstream facility and presents results from our steady-state qualification tests using a well-studied benchmark solvent:30% wt monoethanolamine(MEA).The results from our MEA tests compare favorably to results reported from other slipstream-test facilities around the world,allowing us to commission our system and establish a reference baseline for future studies.Baodeng Wang Qian Cui Guoping Zhang Yinhua Long Yongwei Sun Xinglei Zhao Zhendong He Anthony Y.Ku 2020Clean Energy2020,4,2:1

19Post-combustion slipstream CO_(2)-capture test facility at Jiangyou Power Plant, Sichuan, China: performance of a membrane separation module under dynamic power-plant operations显示文摘Membrane-based separation technologies have the potential to lower the cost of post-combustion CO_(2) capture from power-plant flue gases through reduced energy and capital costs relative to conventional solvent approaches.Studies have shown promise under controlled conditions,but there is a need for data on performance and reliability under field conditions.Coal-fired power plants in China operate in a dynamic manner,with increases and decreases in output causing changes in flue-gas composition.In this paper,we describe the first field test of a membrane-based post-combustion CO_(2)-capture system connected to a dynamically operating power plant in China.We report the performance of a Membrane Technology Research,Inc.(MTR)Polaris^(TM) membrane-based capture system over a range of plant operating loads ranging from 54%to 84%and conducted an operational stability test over a 168-h period during which the power plant was operating at an average load of 55%,but ramped as high as 79%and as low as 55%.Our results confirm the ability of a membrane capture system to operate effectively over a wide range of host-plant operating conditions,but also identity several issues related to plant integration,system control and resilience in the face of host-plant upsets that require attention as membrane separation systems move towards commercial use.Qian Cui Baodeng Wang Xinglei Zhao Guoping Zhang Zhendong He Yinhua Long Yongwei Sun Anthony Y.Ku 2021Clean Energy2021,5,4:1
