3An intelligent coastline interpretation of several types of seacoasts from TM/ETM+ images based on rules显示文摘A coastline is defined as the average spring tide line. Different types of seacoast, such as sandy, silty, and biological coast, have different indicators of interpretation. It is very difficult to develop a universal method for interpreting all shorelines. Therefore, the sandy, the silty, and the biological coast are regarded as research objects, and with data mining technology, found the rules of interpretation of those three types of coastlines. Then, an intelligent coastline interpretation method based on rules was proposed. Firstly, the rules for extracting the waterline in Landsat TM/ETM+(Thematic Mapper/Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus) imagery were discovered. Then, through analyzing the features of sandy, silty and biological coast, the indicators of interpreting different types of shoreline were determined. According to the indicators, the waterline could be corrected to the real coastline. In order to verify the validity of the proposed algorithms, three Landsat TM/ETM+ imageries were selected for case studies. 4Correlation of Gut Microbiome Between ASD Children and Mothers and Potential Biomarkers for Risk Assessment显示文摘Variation of maternal gut microbiota may increase the risk of autism spectrum disorders(ASDs) in offspring. Animal studies have indicated that maternal gut microbiota is related to neurodevelopmental abnormalities in mouse offspring, while it is unclear whether there is a correlation between gut microbiota of ASD children and their mothers. We examined the relationships between gut microbiome profiles of ASD children and those of their mothers, and evaluated the clinical discriminatory power of discovered bacterial biomarkers. Gut microbiome was profiled and evaluated by 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing in stool samples of 59 mother–child pairs of ASD children and 30 matched mother–child pairs of healthy children. Significant differences were observed in the gut microbiome composition between ASD and healthy children in our Chinese cohort. Several unique bacterial biomarkers, such as Alcaligenaceae and Acinetobacter, were identified. Mothers of ASD children had more Proteobacteria, Alphaproteobacteria, Moraxellaceae, and Acinetobacter than mothers of healthy children. There was a clear correlation between gut microbiome profiles of children and their mothers; however, children with ASD still had unique bacterial biomarkers, such as Alcaligenaceae, Enterobacteriaceae, and Clostridium. Candidate biomarkers discovered in this study had remarkable discriminatory power. 5Preparation of Starch Succinate WITH INTERMEDIATE DS BY AQUEOUS SLURRY REACTION显示文摘The succinylation of cornstarch by slurry reaction has been studied using sodium hydroxide as catalyst. Several reaction parameters afJecting the succinylation were investigated including the concentration of starch in water, the ratio of succinic anhydride to starch, the reaction time and the reaction temperature. The favorable conditions for an intermediate degree of substitution (DS) and reasonably high reaction efficiency (RE) are pH 8.5~9.0, 50% starch by weight to water, succinic anhydride to starch I/I (w/w), reaction time 4h, reaction temperature 30 ℃Under these conditions, the DS of 0.45 and RE of 28% were achieved. 6An automatic detection of green tide using multi-windows with their adaptive threshold from Landsat TM/ETM plus image显示文摘Since the atmospheric correction is a necessary preprocessing step of remote sensing image before detecting green tide, the introduced error directly affects the detection precision. Therefore, the detection method of green tide is presented from Landsat TM/ETM plus image which needs not the atmospheric correction. In order to achieve an automatic detection of green tide, a linear relationship(y =0.723 x+0.504) between detection threshold y and subtraction x(x=λ_(nir)–λ_(red)) is found from the comparing Landsat TM/ETM plus image with the field surveys.Using this relationship, green tide patches can be detected automatically from Landsat TM/ETM plus image.Considering there is brightness difference between different regions in an image, the image will be divided into a plurality of windows(sub-images) with a same size firstly, and then each window will be detected using an adaptive detection threshold determined according to the discovered linear relationship. It is found that big errors will appear in some windows, such as those covered by clouds seriously. To solve this problem, the moving step k of windows is proposed to be less than the window width n. Using this mechanism, most pixels will be detected[n/k]×[n/k] times except the boundary pixels, then every pixel will be assigned the final class(green tide or sea water) according to majority rule voting strategy. It can be seen from the experiments, the proposed detection method using multi-windows and their adaptive thresholds can detect green tide from Landsat TM/ETM plus image automatically. 8Vibrio parahaemolyticus O10:K4:An Emergent Serotype with Pandemic Virulence Traits as Predominant Clone Detected by Whole-Genome Sequence Analysis--Beijing Municipality,China,2021显示文摘Introduction:Vibrio parahaemolyticus(V.parahaemolyticus)is a common foodborne pathogen which causes gastroenteritis in humans,especially the O3:K6 pandemic clone which is still a prominent serotype in Beijing,China.In this study,we observed a novel serotype O10:K4 isolated from clinical diarrhea cases,which became the most prevalent clone in 2021.Methods:73 clinical isolates were collected through sentinel hospitals’surveillance in 2021.Serum agglutination testing and antimicrobial susceptibility testing were conducted.Whole genome sequencing was applied to characterize 73 V.parahaemolyticus strains and complete phylogenetic analysis.Results:Seven serotypes were identified among 73 strains.O10:K4 was the most common serotype(83.6%),followed by O2:KUT,O4:KUT,and O1:KUT.Multilocus sequence typing divided the 73 isolates into 10 sequence types(STs)with ST3 as the most prevalent,which covered all O10:K4 strains.Most isolates were sensitive to common antimicrobial agents apart from colistin.All the O10:K4 isolates were positive for the thermostable direct hemolysin gene,toxRS/new,and orf8,and negative for the TDH-related hemolysin gene.The whole genome sequencing-single nucleotide polymorphism phylogenetic analysis revealed O10:K4 strains formed a main genetic lineage,which was genetically distinct from other serotypes.We also demonstrated the presence of two type III secretion system genes(T3SS1 and T3SS2)andβlactamase resistance gene blaCARB-22 in all O10:K4 strains.Conclusions:The study confirmed the emergence of V.parahaemolyticus O10:K4 possessing virulence factors similar to the O3:K6 pandemic clone,which may have enabled them to become prevalent in Beijing,China.Ying Huang Bing Lyu Xin Zhang Yi Tian Changying Lin Lingyu Shen Hanqiu Yan Daitao Zhang Lei Jia Mei Qu Quanyi Wang 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,22:2
9A thermal actuated switchable dry adhesive with high reversibility for transfer printing显示文摘Transfer printing based on switchable adhesive that heterogeneously integrates materials is essential to develop novel electronic systems,such as flexible electronics and micro LED displays.Here,we report a robust design of a thermal actuated switchable dry adhesive,which features a stiff sphere embedded in a thermally responsive shape memory polymer(SMP)substrate and encapsulated by an elastomeric membrane.This construct bypasses the unfavorable micro-and nano-fabrication processes and yields an adhesion switchability of over1000 by combining the peel-rate dependent effect of the elastomeric membrane and the thermal actuation of the sub-surface embedded stiff sphere.Experimental and numerical studies reveal the underlying thermal actuated mechanism and provide insights into the design and operation of the switchable adhesive.Demonstrations of this concept in stamps for transfer printing of fragile objects,such as silicon wafers,silicon chips,and inorganic micro-LED chips,onto challenging non-adhesive surfaces illustrate its potential in heterogeneous material integration applications,such as flexible electronics manufacturing and deterministic assembly.Shun Zhang Hongyu Luo Suhao Wang Zhou Chen Shuang Nie Changying Liu Jizhou Song 2021International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2021,3,3:2

15Chromosome-level Genomes Reveal the Genetic Basis of Descending Dysploidy and Sex Determination in Morus Plants显示文摘Multiple plant lineages have independently evolved sex chromosomes and variable karyotypes to maintain their sessile lifestyles through constant biological innovation.Morus notabilis,a dioecious mulberry species,has the fewest chromosomes among Morus spp.,but the genetic basis of sex determination and karyotype evolution in this species has not been identified.In this study,three high-quality genome assemblies were generated for Morus spp.[including dioecious M.notabilis(male and female)and Morus yunnanensis(female)]with genome sizes of 301–329 Mb and were grouped into six pseudochromosomes.Using a combination of genomic approaches,we found that the putative ancestral karyotype of Morus species was close to 14 protochromosomes,and that several chromosome fusion events resulted in descending dysploidy(2n=2x=12).We also characterized a~6.2-Mb sex-determining region on chromosome 3.Four potential male-specific genes,a partially duplicated DNA helicase gene(named MSDH)and three Ty3_Gypsy long terminal repeat retrotransposons(named MSTG1/2/3),were identified in the Y-linked area and considered to be strong candidate genes for sex determination or differentiation.Population genomic analysis showed that Guangdong accessions in China were genetically similar to Japanese accessions of mulberry.In addition,genomic areas containing selective sweeps that distinguish domesticated mulberry from wild populations in terms of flowering and disease resistance were identified.Our study provides an important genetic resource for sex identification research and molecular breeding in mulberry.Zhongqiang Xia Xuelei Dai Wei Fan Changying Liu Meirong Zhang Peipei Bian Yuping Zhou Liang Li Baozhong Zhu Shuman Liu Zhengang Li Xiling Wang Maode Yu Zhonghuai Xiang Yu Jiang Aichun Zhao 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,6:1
