1Higher alcohol synthesis over Cu-Fe composite oxides with high selectivity to C_(2+)OH显示文摘Cu-Fe composite oxides were prepared by co-precipitation method and tested for higher alcohol synthesis from syngas. The selectivity to C2+OH and C6+OH in alcohol distribution was very high while the methane product fraction in hydrocarbon distribution was rather low, demonstrating a promising potential in higher alcohols synthesis from syngas. The distribution of alcohols and hydrocarbons approximately obeyed Anderson-Schulz-Flory distribution with similar chain growth probability, indicating alcohols and hydrocarbons derived from the same intermediates. The effects of Cu/Fe molar ratio, reaction temperature and gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) on catalytic performance were studied in detail. The sample with a Cu/Fe molar ratio of 10/1 exhibited the best catalytic performance. Higher reaction temperature accelerated water-gas-shift reaction and led to lower total alcohols selectivity. 2Identification of genes for drought resistance and prediction of gene candidates in soybean seedlings based on linkage and association mapping显示文摘Drought is one of the primary abiotic stress factors affecting the yield,growth,and development of soybeans.In extreme cases,drought can reduce yield by more than 50%.The seedling stage is an important determinant of soybean growth:the number and vigor of seedlings will affect growth and yield at harvest.Therefore,it is important to study the drought resistance of soybean seedlings.In this study,a recombinant inbred line(RIL)population comprising 234 F_(6:10)lines(derived from Zhonghuang35×Jindou 21)and a panel of 259 soybean accessions was subjected to drought conditions to identify the effects on phenotypic traits under these conditions.Using a genetic map constructed by single nucleotide polymorphism(SNPs)markers,18 quantitative trait loci(QTL)on 7 soybean chromosomes were identified in two environments.This included 9 QTL clusters identified in the RIL population.Fifty-three QTL were identified in 19 soybean chromosomes by genome-wide association analysis(GWAS)in the panel of accessions,including 69 significant SNPs(-log_(10)(P)≥3.97).A combination of the two populations revealed that two SNPs(-log_(10)(P)≥3.0)fell within two of the QTL(qPH7-4 and qPH7-6)confidence intervals.We not only re-located several previously reported drought-resistance genes in soybean and other crops but also identified several non-synonymous stress-related mutation site differences between the two parents,involving Glyma.07 g093000,Glyma.07 g093200,Glyma.07 g094100 and Glyma.07 g094200.One previously unreported new gene related to drought stress,Glyma.07 g094200,was found by regional association analysis.The significant SNP CHR7-17619(G/T)was within an exon of the Glyma.07 g094200 gene.In the RIL population,the DSP value of the'T'allele of CHR7-17619 was significantly(P<0.05)larger than the'G'allele in different environments.The results of our study lay the groundwork for cloning and molecular marker-assisted selection of droughtresistance genes in soybeans at the seedling stage.Yanjun Zhang Zhangxiong Liu Xingrong Wang Yue Li Yongsheng Li Zuowang Gou Xingzhen Zhao Huilong Hong Honglei Ren Xusheng Qi Lijuan Qiu 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,3:3
3Injectable bioactive polymethyl methacrylate-hydrogel hybrid bone cement loaded with BMP-2 to improve osteogenesis for percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty显示文摘Poly methyl methacrylate(PMMA)bone cement is used in augmenting and stabilizing fractured vertebral bodies through percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP)and percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP).However,applications of PMMA bone cement are limited by the high elasticity modulus of PMMA,its low biodegradability,and its limited ability to regenerate bone.To improve PMMA bio activity and biodegradability and to modify its elasticity modulus,we mixed PMMA bone cement with oxidized hyaluronic acid and carboxymethyl chitosan in situ cross-linking hydrogel loaded with bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2)to achieve novel hybrid cement.These fabric ated PMMA-hydrogel hybrid cements exhibited lower setting temperatures,a lower elasticity modulus,and better biodegradability and biocompatibility than that of pure PMMA cement,while retaining acceptable setting times,mechanical strength,and inj ectability.In addition,we detected release of BMP-2 from the PMMA-hydrogel hybrid cements,significantly enhancing in vitro osteogenesis of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells by up-regulating the gene expression of Runx2,Coll,and OPN.Use of PMMA-hydrogel hybrid cements loaded with BMP-2 on rabbit femoral condyle bone-defect models revealed their biodegradability and enhanced bone formation.Our study demonstrated the favorable mechanical properties,biocompatibility,and biodegradability of fabricated PMMA-hydrogel hybrid cements loaded with BMP-2,as well as their ability to improve osteogenesis,making them a promising material for use in PKP and PVP.Xin Sun Xin Zhang Xin Jiao Jie Ma Xingzhen Liu Han Yang Kangping Shen Yaokai Gan Jinwu Wang Haiyan Li Wenjie Jin 2022Bio-Design and Manufacturing2022,5,2:3

7MULTI-ARC BASIN SYSTEM OF THE KUNLUN OROGENIC BELT AND PAN-CATHYSIAN CONTINENTAL ACCRETION显示文摘After Rodinia supercontinent was disintegrated in Late Proterozoic, an ocean, namely, Tethys Ocean, occurred between Gondwana continental group and Pan-Cathaysian continental group from Late Proterozoic to Mesozoic. From Early Paleozoic to Mesozoic, Tethys Ocean was subducted toward Pan-Cathaysian block group, which results in backarc expansion, arc-land collision and forearc accretion. When the backarc basin expands and reaches the small oceanic basin, ophiolite melange will be generated. As accretion had already occurred in the south of the continental margin in the earlier stage, the succeeding backarc expansion and the frontal arc position were migrated toward south correspondingly. Therefore, multiple ophiolite belts and magmatic rock belts occurred, and show a trend of decreasing age from north toward south. As the continental margin was split and migrated toward south and reached a high latitude position, i.e., with the shortening and subduction of oceanic crust, the sedimentary bodies at high latitude was accreted continuously toward low latitude area together with the formation of oceanic island, mixing of cold-type and warm-type organism was generated. Moreover,blocks split and separated from Pan-Cathaysian or Gondwana continental group cannot traverse the oceanic median ridge and joins with another continental block. 11Pathological characteristics and immunophenotype analysis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia显示文摘Objective To explore the clinical pathological features and immunophenotypes of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN).Methods The protein expression of p16, p53, Bcl-2, and c-erb B-2 in 59 cases of CIN, 20 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and 20 cases of normal cervical tissues were tested using immunohistochemistry staining.Results The expression rates of p16, p53, Bcl-2, and c-erb B-2 in CIN tissues were 76.3%(45/59), 28.85(17/59), 61.0%(36/59), and 40.0%(23/59), respectively. The expression rates of p16, p53, Bcl-2, and c-erb B-2 in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues were 60.0%(12/20), 60.0%(12/20), 75.0%(15/20), and 65.0%(13/20), respectively. The expression rates of p16, p53, Bcl-2, and c-erb B-2 in normal cervical tissues were 0.0%(0/20), 0.0%(0/20), 35.0%(7/20), 0.0%(0/20), respectively. In comparison to normal tissues, the differential expressions of p16, p53, and Bcl-2 in squamous cell carcinoma and CIN were statistically significant(P <0.001), whereas the difference between the squamous cell carcinoma and CIN was not significant(P >0.05). In comparison to normal tissues, the differential expressions of c-erb B-2 and p53 in squamous cell carcinoma and CIN were statistically significant(P >0.05). The differential expressions of Bcl-2, c-erb B-2, and p53 in CIN 3 were statistically significant in comparison to CIN 1 and CIN 2(P <0.05). Conclusion Overexpression of Bcl-2 occurs early in the development of cervical cancer, whereas p16 and c-erb B-2 overexpression are markers for cell malignancy. 13Porous Hafnium-Containing Acid/Base Bifunctional Catalysts for Efficient Upgrading of Bio-Derived Aldehydes显示文摘Novel organic-inorganic hybrids were synthesized by using HfCl 4 and organic ligand 1H-pyrrole-2,5-dicarboxylic acid(PDCA)via a simple hydrothermal method.The as-prepared Hf-PDCA were characterized by various techniques,such as electron microscope,N_(2) adsorption/desorption,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.Among them,the porous and nitrogen-containing Hf-PDCA as heterogeneous acid/base bifunctional catalyst was then applied to the catalytic hydrogenation of furfural to produce furfuryl alcohol(FFA).It exhibited excellent catalytic performance,with high conversion(98.8%)and selectivity(98.5%)by using 2-propanol as hydrogen source under a relatively mild condition.Moreover,the Hf-PDCA has strong stability and durability,and can be recovered after the catalyst reaction.In addition,the Hf-PDCA as catalyst can be extended to fabricate corresponding alcohols by catalytic conversion of other biomass derived aldehydes.Fanglin Dai Junrong Luo Shenghui Zhou Xingzhen Qin Detao Liu Haisong Qi 2021Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2021,6,3:0

15A feedback regulation between ARF7-mediated auxin signaling and auxin homeostasis involving MES17 affects plant gravitropism显示文摘Gravitropism is an essential adaptive response of land plants.Asymmetric auxin gradients across plant organs,interpreted by multiple auxin signaling components including AUXIN RESPONSE FACTOR7(ARF7),trigger differential growth and bending response.However,how this fundamental process is strictly maintained in nature remains unclear.Here,we report that gravity stimulates the transcription of METHYL ESTERASE17(MES17)along the lower side of the hypocotyl via ARF7-dependent auxin signaling.The asymmetric distribution of MES17,a methyltransferase that converts auxin from its inactive form methyl indole-3-acetic acid ester(MeI AA)to its biologically active form free-IAA,enhanced the gradient of active auxin across the hypocotyl,which in turn reversely amplified the asymmetric auxin responses and differential growth that shape gravitropic bending.Taken together,our findings reveal the novel role of MES17-mediated auxin homeostasis in gravitropic responses and identify an ARF7-triggered feedback mechanism that reinforces the asymmetric distribution of active auxin and strictly controls gravitropism in plants.Feng Zhang Cuiling Li Xingzhen Qu Jiajia Liu Zipeng Yu Junxia Wang Jiayong Zhu Yongqiang Yu Zhaojun Ding 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,7:0
