Effects of cooling rate on the fracture properties of TA15 ELI alloy plates显示文摘The effects of cooling rate on the mechanical properties and the fatigue crack growth behavior of TA15 ELI alloy plates with different microstructures were investigated at room temperature. The results indicate that the cooling rate (water quench, air cooling, and furnace cooling) has a pronounced influence on the mechanical properties and on the fatigue crack growth, especially for air cooling and furnace cooling. Optical microstructure observation and scanning electron microscopy of tensile fracture surfaces were performed to gain an insight into the mechanism of properties. The dependence of me-chanical properties and fatigue crack growth behavior on the cooling rate can be attributed to the α lamellae width and the α colony size, which induce the change in slip length. The microstructure produced by air cooling shows the best damage tol-erance behavior when compared with water quench and furnace cooling. | LI Shikai XIONG Baiqing HUI Songxiao | 2007 | Rare Metals2007,26,1: | 15
On Improved DV-Hop Localization Algorithm for Accurate Node Localization in Wireless Sensor Networks显示文摘Node Localization is a fundamental issue for many critical applications in Wireless sensor networks(WSNs). Traditional DV-Hop localization algorithm and corresponding improved ones still cannot provide sufficient localization accuracy in such WSNs. To ensure accurate localization, this paper proposes an improved Distancevector-Hop(DV-Hop) localization algorithm. Under such an algorithm, we determine a corrected average hopdistance of beacon nodes by employing the differences between actual and estimated distance among beacon nodes in WSNs. We propose a probability information based selective strategy for the selection of beacon nodes.Based on these selected beacon nodes, we adopt a two dimensional hyperbolic function to predict the locations of unknown nodes. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the localization accuracy of our algorithm compared with traditional DV-Hop algorithm and its two improved algorithms in WSNs. | SHEN Shikai YANG Bin QIAN Kaiguo SHE Yumei WANG Wu | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,3: | 15
Changes in the patterns of inorganic nitrogen and TN/TP ratio and the associated mechanism of biological regulation in the shallow lakes of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River显示文摘The changes of NH3-N, NO3-N, NO2-N and TN/TP were studied during growth and non-growth season in 33 subtropical shallow lakes in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. There were significant positive correlations among all nutrient concentrations, and the correlations were better in growth season than in non-growth season. When TP>0.1 mgL-1, NH3-N increased sharply in non-growth season with increasing TP, and NO3-N increased in growth season but decreased in non-growth season with TP. These might be attributed to lower dissolved oxygen and low temperature in non-growth season of the hypereutrophic lakes, since nitrification is more sensitive to dissolved oxygen and temperature than antinitrification. When 0.1 mgL-1>TP>0.035 mgL-1, TN and all kinds of inorganic nitrogen were lower in growth season than in non-growth season, and phytoplankton might be the vital regulating factor. When TP<0.035 mgL-1, inorganic nitrogen concentrations were relatively low and NH3-N, NO2-N had significant correlations with phytoplankton, indicating that NH3-N and NO2-N might be limiting factors to phytoplankton. In addition, TN/TP went down with decline in TP concentration, and TN and inorganic nitrogen concentrations were obviously lower in growth season than in non-growth season, suggesting that decreasing nitrogen (especially NH3-N and NO3-N) was an important reason for the decreasing TN/TP in growth season. The ranges of TN/TP were closely related to trophic level in both growth and non-growth seasons, and it is apparent that in the eutrophic and hypertrophic state the TN/TP ratio was obviously lower in growth season than in non-growth season. The changes of the TN/TP ratio were closely correlated with trophic levels, and both declines of TN in the water column and TP release from the sediment were important factors for the decline of the TN/TP ratio in growth season. | WU Shikai XIE Ping WANG Songbo ZHOU Qiong | 2006 | Science China Earth Sciences2006,49,z1: | 14
GBSS-BINDING PROTEIN,encoding a CBM48 domain-containing protein, affects rice quality and yield^∞显示文摘The percentage of amylose in the endosperm of rice(Oryza sativa)largely determines grain cooking and eating qualities.Granule-bound starch synthase I(GBSSI)and GBSSII are responsible for amylose biosynthesis in the endosperm and leaf, respectively. Here,we identified OsGBP,a rice GBSS-binding protein that interacted with GBSSI and GBSSII in vitro and in vivo. The total starch and amylose contents in osgbp mutants were significantly lower than those of wild type in leaves and grains, resulting in reduced grain weight and quality. The carbohydrate-binding module 48(CBM48)domain present in the C-terminus of OsGBP is crucial for OsGBP binding to starch. In the osgbp mutant, the extent of GBSSI and GBSSII binding to starch in the leaf and endospermwas significantly lower than wild type. Our data suggest that OsGBP plays an important role in leaf and endosperm starch biosynthesis by mediating the binding of GBSS proteins to developing starch granules. This elucidation of the function of OsGBP enhances our understanding of the molecular basis of starch biosyn-thesis in rice and contributes information that can be potentially used for the genetic improvement of yield and grain quality. | Wei Wang Xiangjin Wei Guiai Jiao Wenqiang Chen Yawen Wu Zhonghua Sheng Shikai Hu Lihong Xie Jiayu Wang Shaoqing Tang Peisong Hu | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,7: | 12
Targeted mutagenesis of POLYAMINE OXIDASE 5 that negatively regulates mesocotyl elongation enables the generation of direct-seeding rice with improved grain yield显示文摘Under conditions of labor or resource scarcity, direct seeding, rather than transplantation,is the preferred mode of rice(Oryza sativa)cultivation. This approach requires varieties that exhibit uniform seedling emergence.Mesocotyl elongation(ME),the main driver of rapid emergence of rice seedlings from soil,is enhanced by darkness and inhibited by light.Plant polyamine oxidases(PAOs)oxidize polyamines(PAs)and release H2O2,Here,we established that OsPAO5 expression in rice seedlings is increased in the presence of light and inhibited by darkness. To determine its role in ME,we created OsPAO5 mutants using CRISPR/Cas9.Compared with the wild type,pao5 mutants had longer mesocotyls, released less H2O2,and synthesized more ethylene. The mutant seedlings emerged at a higher and more uniform rate, indicating their potential for use in direct seeding.Nucleotide polymorphism analysis revealed that an SNP(PAO5-578G/A)located 578 bp upstream of the OsPAO5 start codon alters its expression, and was selected during rice mesocotyl domestication. The PAO5-578G genotype conferring a long mesocotyl mainly exists in wild rice, most Aus accessions, and some Geng(Japonica)accessions.Intriguingly, knocking out OsPAO5 can remarkably increase the grain weight, grain number, and yield potential. In summary,we developed a novel strategy to obtain elite rice with higher emergence vigor and yield potential, which can be conveniently and widely used to breed varieties of direct-seeding rice. | Yusong Lv Gaoneng Shao Guiai Jiao Zhonghua Sheng Lihong Xie Shikai Hu Shaoqing Tang Xiangjin Wei Peisong Hu | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,2: | 12
Xiaowei, a New Rice Germplasm for Large-Scale Indoor Research显示文摘Dear Editor,Rice (Oryza sativa)is a model monocot plant for biological studies due to its relatively small genome, rich germplasm resources, and high-efficiency transformation methods.Although significant progress has been made in rice genomics and functional genomics research (Li et al.,2018),large-scale indoor research toward better understanding of rice biology is hampered by its long growth period and extreme dependence on the natural environment for cultivation. There are some rice germplasms that have a short growth period and short plant height, such as Kitaake. | Shikai Hu Xingming Hu Jiang Hu Lianguang Shang Guojun Dong Dali Zeng Longbiao Guo Qian Qian | 2018 | Molecular Plant2018,11,11: | 10
Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in chemotherapy-sensitive lymphoblastic lymphoma: treatment outcome and prognostic factor analysis显示文摘Objective: The study evaluated the effectiveness of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(AHSCT) in the treatment of lymphoblastic lymphoma(LL).Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data from 41 patients with chemotherapy-sensitive LL who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT) from December 1989 to December 2009 in a single institution. Results: HSCT was conducted as first-line consolidation therapy and salvage therapy in 36 and 5 patients, respectively. The median follow-up was 97.1 months(range, 24.6-173.1 months). The 5-year overall survival(OS) and event-free survival(EFS) rate were 64% and 47% for the initially treated patients, respectively, and were both 20% for the relapsed ones. Bone marrow(BM) involvement and chemotherapy cycles prior to transplantation were identified as significant prognostic factors for EFS in multivariate analysis. Conclusions: These results confirm that AHSCT is a reasonable option for chemotherapy-sensitive LL patients in first complete remission(CR1). | Youwu Shi Shengyu Zhou Xiaohui He Xiaohong Han Shikai Wu Feng Pan Peng Liu Yinyu Liu Yingheng Lei Hongzhi Zhang Jianliang Yang Yan Qin Changgong Zhang Sheng Yang Liya Zhao Kehuan Luo Guanqing Wu Yan Sun Yuankai Shi | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,1: | 9
A review of fundamental factors affecting diesel PM oxidation behaviors显示文摘Diesel particulate matter(DPF) is usually employed to meet the stringent regulations on particulate matter(PM) emissions for diesel engine. To resolve the DPF regeneration problem, comprehensive information about the factors influencing PM oxidation behaviors must be understood. Large amounts of factors related to PM oxidation activity have been investigated, however, some relations are still ambiguous. This paper reviews the factors related to PM oxidation activity that the factors are divided into the engine-correlated and engine-uncorrelated factors. The methods with both advantages and disadvantages to test the oxidation behaviors are introduced. The microstructure and ingredient being fundamental factors affecting PM oxidation behaviors are as the principle line to correlate PM oxidation behaviors and engine-correlated factors. The relations of engine-correlated factors with oxidation behaviors are obtained though advanced technologies that are mutual complementation. The engine-uncorrelated factors are also reviewed that these factors are vital to oxidation activity changes. Multiple-factor analysis rather than single-factor analysis should be developed to make the oxidation behaviors of diesel PM more clear. | GAO JianBing MA ChaoChen XING ShiKai SUN LiWei HUANG LiYong | 2018 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2018,61,3: | 8
Optimum Weight Design of Functionally Graded Material Gears显示文摘Traditional gear weight optimization methods consider gear tooth number, module, face width or other dimension parameters of gear as design variables. However, due to the complicated form and geometric features peculiar to the gear, there will be large amounts of design parameters in gear design, and the influences of gear parameters changing on gear trains, transmission system and the whole equipment have to be taken into account, which increases the complexity of optimization problem. This paper puts forward to apply functionally graded materials(FGMs) to gears and then conduct the optimization. According to the force situation of gears, the material distribution form of FGM gears is determined. Then based on the performance parameters analysis of FGMs and the practical working demands for gears, a multi-objective optimization model is formed. Finally by using the goal driven optimization(GDO) method, the optimal material distribution is achieved, which makes gear weight and the maximum deformation be minimum and the maximum bending stress do not exceed the allowable stress. As an example, the applying of FGM to automotive transmission gear is conducted to illustrate the optimization design process and the result shows that under the condition of keeping the normal working performance of gear, the method achieves in greatly reducing the gear weight. This research proposes a FGM gears design method that is able to largely reduce the weight of gears by optimizing the microscopic material parameters instead of changing the macroscopic dimension parameters of gears, which reduces the complexity of gear weight optimization problem. | JING Shikai ZHANG He ZHOU Jingtao SONG Guohua | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2015,28,6: | 7
OsVP1 activates Sdr4 expression to control rice seed dormancy via the ABA signaling pathway显示文摘Pre-harvest sprouting(PHS)is a disadvantageous trait in cereal production worldwide, causing large economic losses each year. Its regulation mechanism is still unclear. We generated the Oryza sativa Viviparous1(OsVP1)mutant using gene editing technique, which shows increased PHS compared with that of the wild type Nipponbare.OsVP1 is localized mainly in the nucleus and expressed in various tissues and organs.Expression of Seed dormancy 4(Sdr4),a key gene controlling PHS,was sharply reduced in OsVP1 mutants.OsVP1 bound to the specific motif CACCTG in the promoter of Sdr4 and activated its expression in rice protoplasts.Overexpression of Sdr4 reduced the high seed germination rate of OsVP1 mutant cr-osvp1-1,showing that Sdr4 acts as a downstream target of OsVP1.Both OsVP1 and Sdr4 loss-of-function mutants were insensitive to exogenous ABA and employed the ABA signaling pathway in regulating seed dormancy. These findings shed light on the control of seed dormancy aimed at preventing PHS in rice. | Wenqiang Chen Wei Wang Yusong Lyu Yawen Wu Pingliang Huang Shikai Hu Xiangjin Wei Guiai Jiao Zhonghua Sheng Shaoqing Tang Gaoneng Shao Ju Luo | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,1: | 5
Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Galvanized Steel/AA6061 Joints by Laser Fusion Brazing Welding显示文摘Laser fusion brazing welding was proposed.Galvanized steel/AA6061 lapped joint was obtained by laser fusion brazing welding technique using the laser-induced aluminium molten pool spreading and wetting the solid steel surface.Wide joint interface was formed using the rectangular laser beam coupled with the synchronous powder feeding. The result showed that the tiny structure with the composition of a-Al and Al–Si eutectic was formed in the weld close to the Al side. And close to the steel side,a layer of compact Fe–Al–Si intermetallics, including the Al-rich FeAl3,Fe2Al5 phases and Al–Fe–Si s1 phase, was generated with the thickness of about 10–20 lm.Transverse tensile shows the brittlefractured characteristic along to the seam/steel interface with the maximum yield strength of 152.5 MPa due to the existence of hardening phases s1 and Al–Fe intermetallics. | Junxia L Wuxiong Yang Shikai Wu Xudong Zhao Rongshi Xiao | 2014 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2014,27,4: | 3
New Knowledge Network Evaluation Method for Design Rationale Management显示文摘Current design rationale(DR) systems have not demonstrated the value of the approach in practice since little attention is put to the evaluation method of DR knowledge. To systematize knowledge management process for future computer-aided DR applications, a prerequisite is to provide the measure for the DR knowledge. In this paper, a new knowledge network evaluation method for DR management is presented. The method characterizes the DR knowledge value from four perspectives, namely, the design rationale structure scale, association knowledge and reasoning ability, degree of design justification support and degree of knowledge representation conciseness. The DR knowledge comprehensive value is also measured by the proposed method. To validate the proposed method, different style of DR knowledge network and the performance of the proposed measure are discussed. The evaluation method has been applied in two realistic design cases and compared with the structural measures. The research proposes the DR knowledge evaluation method which can provide object metric and selection basis for the DR knowledge reuse during the product design process. In addition, the method is proved to be more effective guidance and support for the application and management of DR knowledge. | JING Shikai ZHAN Hongfei LIU Jihong WANG Kuan JIANG Hao ZHOU Jingtao | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2015,28,1: | 3
Modulating effects of RAMPs on signaling profiles of the glucagon receptor family显示文摘Receptor activity-modulating proteins(RAMPs)are accessory molecules that form complexes with specific G protein-coupled receptors(GPCRs)and modulate their functions. It is established that RAMP interacts with the glucagon receptor family of GPCRs but the underlying mechanism is poorly understood. In this study,we used a bioluminescence resonance energy transfer(BRET)approach to comprehensively investigate such interactions. In conjunction with c AMP accumulation,Gaqactivation andβ-arrestin1/2 recruitment assays,we not only verified the GPCR-RAMP pairs previously reported, but also identified new patterns of GPCR-RAMP interaction. While RAMP1 was able to modify the three signaling events elicited by both glucagon receptor(GCGR)and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor(GLP-1 R),and RAMP2 mainly affectedβ-arrestin1/2 recruitment by GCGR,GLP-1 R and glucagon-like peptide-2 receptor,RAMP3 showed a widespread negative impact on all the family members except for growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor covering the three pathways. Our results suggest that RAMP modulates both G protein dependent and independent signal transduction among the glucagon receptor family members in a receptor-specific manner.Mapping such interactions provides new insights into the role of RAMP in ligand recognition and receptor activation. | Lijun Shao Yan Chen Shikai Zhang Zhihui Zhang Yongbing Cao Dehua Yang Ming-Wei Wang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2: | 2

Relationship between dealloying conditions and coarsening behaviors of nanoporous copper fabricated by dealloying Cu-Ce metallic glasses显示文摘Monolithic nanoporous copper(NPC) with tunable ligament size(107–438 nm) was synthesized by dealloying a new Cu-Ce binary glassy precursor in dilute H_2SO_4 aqueous solution. The effects of the dealloying conditions on the morphologies of NPC were evaluated comprehensively. The results show that the ligaments of NPC can significantly coarsen with the increase of acid concentration, elevation of reaction temperature or prolongation of immersion time. These coarsening behaviors can be well described by a diffusion based growth kinetic model. Moreover, the surface diffusivity and activation energy for diffusion of Cu atoms were also estimated to investigate the formation mechanism of NPC, which is mainly governed by dissolution of Ce element in the glassy precursor coupled with nucleation and growth of Cu clusters via the precursor/solution interface. In the experiment of the degradation of methyl orange(MO) dye, the NPC fabricated by Cu-Ce metallic glasses exhibits superior sono-catalytic activity. | Ning Wang Ye Pan Shikai Wu | 2018 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,7: | 2
CDE4 encodes a pentatricopeptide repeat protein involved in chloroplast RNA splicing and affects chloroplast development under low-temperature conditions in rice显示文摘Pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR)proteins play important roles in the post-transcriptional modification of organellar RNAs in plants. However, the function of most PPR proteins remains unknown. Here,we characterized the rice(Oryza sativa L.)chlorophyll deficient 4(cde4)mutant which exhibits an albino phenotype during early leaf development, with decreased chlorophyll contents and abnormal chloroplasts at low-temperature(20℃).Positional cloning revealed that CDE4 encodes a P-type PPR protein localized in chloroplasts. In the cde4 mutant,plastid-encoded polymerase(PEP)-dependent transcript levels were significantly reduced, but transcript levels of nuclear-encoded genes were increased compared to wild-type plants at 20℃.CDE4 directly binds to the transcripts of the chloroplast genes rpl2,ndhA,and ndhB.Intron splicing of these transcripts was defective in the cde4 mutant at 20℃,but was normal at 32℃.Moreover,CDE4 interacts with the guanylate kinase VIRESCENT 2(V2);overexpression of V2 enhanced CDE4 protein stability, thereby rescuing the cde4 phenotype at 20℃.Our results suggest that CDE4 participates in plastid RNA splicing and plays an important role in rice chloroplast development under lowtemperature conditions. | Xinyong Liu Xichun Zhang Ruijie Cao Guiai Jiao Shikai Hu Gaoneng Shao Zhonghua Sheng Lihong Xie Shaoqing Tang Xiangjin Wei Peisong Hu | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,10: | 2
