| 2 | Clinical observations on the treatment of infantile hemangiomas with topical imiquimod 5% cream显示文摘Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of topical imiquimod 5% cream in the treatment of uncomplicated infantile hemangiomas (IHs). Methods:A total of 68 IHs were treated with topical imiquimod 5% cream. Among them,36 were superficial,22 were mixed,and 10 were deep. The size of IHs ranged from 1.0 cm × 1.5 cm to an area of a whole forearm. All the hemangiomas were in a proliferative stage. Imiquimod was applied 3 times weekly in 44 patients and 5 times weekly in 24 patients for up to 36 weeks. Results:All superficial IHs improved,and 18 achieved complete clinical resolution,10 had excellent improvement,5 showed moderate improvements,and 3 patients displayed minimal improvement. Two mixed IHs showed excellent improvement,3 showed moderate improvement and 5 mani-fested minimal improvements. The remaining 12 mixed IHs and all deep IHs did not respond to the therapy. The total incidence of local adverse events was 58.82%(40/68),which included erythema or edema,local itching,incrustation or peeling,erosion or ulceration,although most of these were mild to moderate reactions and did not affect the treatment. Scarring occurred in 2 mixed IHs. No systemic side effects developed. Conclusion:Imiquimod 5% cream may be a safe and effective alternative for the treatment of superficial IHs and some mixed IHs in which the superficial component predominates. An appropriate treatment duration for proliferative IHs treated with this therapy may be 24 weeks. Some local adverse events,such as crusting and erosion with possible scarring potential may occur and should be addressed by prompt,but temporary,discontinuation of the imiquimod. Topical imiquimod 5% cream can be prudently used in the treatment of IHs larger than 5.0 cm×5.0 cm in newborns and infants less than 6 months of age. | 9 | The influence of Laval nozzle throat size on supersonic molecular beam injection显示文摘In this study, finite element analysis(FEA) has been used to investigate the effects of different Laval nozzle throat sizes on supersonic molecular beam. The simulations indicate the Mach numbers of the molecular stream peak at different positions along the center axis of the beam, which correspond to local minimums of the molecular densities. With the increase of the throat diameter, the first peak of the Mach number increases first and then decreases, while that of the molecular number density increases gradually. Moreover, both first peaks shift progressively away from the throat. | 10 | Propane Aromatization over Mo/HZSM-5 Catalysts显示文摘Impregnation, mechanical mixing and hydrothermal treatment methods were used to introducemolybdenum species into the HZSM-5 zeolite. The structure and surface acidity of the catalysts werestudied by means of XRD, FT-IR, NH3-TPD, TPR and XPS. The effects of Mo content and reaction timeon stream on the aromatization of propane were investigated. It was found that the performance of theMo/HZSM-5 catalyst prepared by the hydrothermal treatment method was much better than that of theother two catalysts. For example, under the reaction conditions of 823 K and 600 h-1, propane conversionand aromatics selectivity over the catalyst prepared by hydrothermal pretreatment could reach 89.17%and 78.56%, respectively. XRD and XPS results showed that the Mo species in the catalysts preparedby hydrothermal treatment were highly dispersed on the surface of the HZSM-5, and larger amounts ofthem could penetrate into the HZSM-5 channel, as compared with the other two kinds of catalysts. Thesefactors may be responsible for their high activities for propane aromatization. | 14 | A novel high-strength Al-La-Mg-Mn alloy for selective laser melting显示文摘Developing high-strength Al-(La,Ce)alloys for additive manufacturing(AM)would entail considerable economic benefits.In this work,a novel near-eutectic Al-La alloy containing 5.50 wt.%Mg and 0.60 wt.%Mn was designed and fabricated via selective laser melting(SLM).Submicron Al_(11)La_(3)intermetallics with 3D continuous cellular-dendritic and granular morphologies were observed at the interior and boundary of the melt pool,respectively.Interestingly,these intermetallics are hierarchical and contained numerous Al_(6)Mn and Mg_(2)Si secondary nanoprecipitates.The as-fabricated alloy exhibited a tensile yield strength(YS)of 334 MPa and ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of 588 MPa at room temperature,which is the high-est UTS reported for Al-(La,Ce)alloys with an appreciable failure strain of∼6.4%.The 3D continuous cellular dendritic intermetallic and high Mg content afford significant strengthening and work harden-ing ability.In addition,the hierarchical feature of the intermetallics generated additional microcracks to coordinate the deformation. | Xinkui Zhang Liejun Li Zhi Wang Hanlin Peng Jixiang Gao Zhengwu Peng | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,6: | 1 |

| 16 | vSpec: workload-adaptive operating system specialization for virtual machines in cloud computing显示文摘In general, operating systems(OSs) are designed to mediate access to device hardware by applications. They process different kinds of system calls using an indiscriminate kernel with the same configuration.Applications in cloud computing platforms are constructed from service components. Each of the service components is assigned separately to an individual virtual machine(VM), which leads to homogeneous system calls on each VM. In addition, the requirements for kernel function and configuration of system parameters from different VMs are different. Therefore, the suit-to-all design incurs an unnecessary performance overhead and restricts the OS's processing capacity in cloud computing. In this paper, we propose an adaptive model for cloud computing to resolve the conflict between generality and performance. Our model adaptively specializes the OS of a VM according to the resource-consuming characteristics of workloads on the VM. We implement a prototype of the adaptive model, v Spec. There are five classes of VM: CPU-intensive, memory-intensive, I/O-intensive, networkintensive and compound, according to the resource-consuming characteristics of the workloads running on the VMs. v Spec specializes the OS of a VM according to the VM class. | 18 | Genesis of S-type Granites in the Pengshan Sn-polymetallic Ore Field, Northern Jiangxi Province and its Implications显示文摘The Pengshan Sn-polymetallic ore field is located in the southeastern part of the Yangtze block,spanning the southeast edge of the MLYDZ and the northern edge of the mid-segment of the Jiangnan Uplift,and on one side of the MLYDZ.The studies of LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb chronology and petrogeochemistry for Early Cretaceous acid granites from the Pengshan ore field were carried out in this paper.We report zircon U-Pb geochronology and whole-rock geochemistry for acid granites in the Pengshan ore field.The zircon U-Pb ages of the muscovite-granite,biotite adamellite and granite-porphyry are 127.6±1.7 Ma,126.9±1.6 Ma and 126.6±2.0 Ma,respectively.The granites in Pengshan are characterized by a high silicon content and are rich in alkali.They belong to high-potassium,calc-alkaline,peraluminous granite.The rocks have a relatively high Rb/Ba ratio,and the data points for muscovite-granite and biotite adamellite all fall within the clay-rich sources region,near the pelite-derived end-member,showing that the Pengshan muscovite-granite and biotite adamellite mainly originated from the partial melting of metapelites with high maturity.The transformation of the compressional and extensional tectonics in this region approximately 128 Ma obviously lags behind that in the mid-segment of the Jiangnan Uplift(135 Ma),but occurred earlier than the MLYDZ(126 Ma).The Pengshan ore field extends from the mid-segment of the Jiangnan Uplift to the MLYDZ.Although the tectonic stress field is constrained by the combination of the two secondary tectonic units,the time of tectonic system transformation is closer to the MLYDZ because the spatial orientation of the area is enclosed in the MLYDZ.Relevant geophysical and drilling data confirm the rationality of Pengshan-Ao'xia as a multi-center vertical zoning ore field,and show the scientificity of the prospecting idea of abutting joint between the north-west of Pengshan area and the south-east of Ao'xia area. | YIN Qingqing XIANG Xinkui YU Zhendong YANG Xiufeng WANG Tianchen ZHONG Bo TAN Rong LIAO Jianhai ZHU Yuansong | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6: | 0 |

| 20 | Corrosion Resistance Mechanism of Magnesia Zirconia Brick to RH Furnace Slag显示文摘Magnesia zirconia brick containing 11 wt% zirconia was prepared with magnesia and monoclinic zirconia as starting materials in order to replace the chrome-containing materials for RH furnace.The corrosion resistance of magnesia zirconia brick and fused rebonded magnesia chrome brick (short for magnesia chrome brick) to high and low basicity slag of RH furnace was comparatively researched by rotary slag method and their slag resistance mechanisms were analyzed.The results show that:(1) because the reaction layer containing CaZrO3 forms in magnesia zirconia brick,it has better corrosion resistance to high basicity slag than magnesia chrome brick,however,it has worse corrosion resistance to low basicity slag than magnesia chrome brick;(2) ZrO2 in the magnesia zirconia brick can absorb CaO in the slag,which decreases the basicity of slag and increases the viscosity of slag,so the degree of slag penetration in magnesia zirconia brick decreases;(3) there is little zirconia in the slag layer of residual magnesia zirconia brick;from working face to original brick layer,the residual magnesia zirconia brick shows three layers:obviously deteriorative layer,slightly deteriorative layer,and original brick layer,but the residual magnesia chrome brick only shows two layers:obviously deteriorative layer and original brick layer;the SiO2 content of residual magnesia zirconia brick is the highest in the slightly deteriorative layer,however,the SiO2 content of residual magnesia chrome brick gradually decreases from working face to original brick layer. | YIN Guoxiang PAN Bo GAO Xinkui SUN Jialin | 2011 | China's Refractories2011,20,3: | 0 |
