1BiVO_(4),Bi_(2)WO_(6) and Bi_(2)MoO_(6) photocatalysis:A brief review显示文摘In recent years,photocatalytic technologies have been extensively studied and diffusely used in water splitting,decomposition of organic pollutants,reduction of carbon dioxide,etc.As a type of eye-catching semiconductors,BiVO_(4),Bi_(2)WO_(6),and Bi_(2)MoO_(6) (denoted as BiaAOb)have become a hotspot in photocatalytic researches due to their crystal structure stability,high light quantum and electronic transmission efficiency,and outstanding energy utilization capacity.However,pristine BiaAOb(A=V,W,and Mo)possesses several drawbacks,such as low separation efficiency of photo-excited electron-hole pairs,low specific surface area,as well as the poor quantum utilization,which restrict their photocatalytic performance.Considerable efforts,such as nanostructure modification,surface engineering,and heterojunction/homojunction fabrication,have been conducted to solve these problems.This integrated review aims to sum up recent advances in current studies on fabrication of high efficiency BiaAOb photocatalysts to accelerate the developments of BiaAOb-based materials in the photocatalysis(PC)field.The current challenges and prospects of BiaAOb are emphasized which stretches the existing fundamental theories of PC as well as provide a promising strategy to fabricate high efficiency BiaAOb catalysts to control environmental pollution and assist the sustainable development of energy.Xintong Liu Shaonan Gu Yanjun Zhao Guowei Zhou Wenjun Li 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,56,21:13
2Experimental continuous sludge microwave system to enhance dehydration ability and hydrogen production from anaerobic digestion of sludge显示文摘Dehydrating large amounts of sludge produced by sewage treatment plants is difficult.Microwave pretreatment can effectively and significantly improve the dewaterability and hydrogen production of sludge subjected to anaerobic digestion. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of different microwave conditions on hydrogen production from anaerobic digestion and dewaterability of sludge. Based on an analysis of the electric field distribution, a spiral reactor was designed and a continuous microwave system was built to conduct intermittent and continuous experiments under different conditions. Settling Volume, Capillary Suction Time, particle size, and moisture content of the sludge were measured. The results show that sludge pretreatment in continuous experiments has equally remarkable dehydration performance as in intermittent experiments; the minimum moisture content was 77.29% in the intermittent experiment under a microwave power of 300 W and an exposure time of 60 sec, and that in the continuous experiment was 77.56% under a microwave power of 400 W and an exposure time of 60 sec.The peak measured by Differential Scanning Calorimeter appeared earliest under a microwave power of 600 W and an exposure time of 180 sec. The heat flux at the peak was 4.343 W/g, which is relatively small. This indicates that microwave pretreatment induced desirable effects. The maximum yield of hydrogen production was 7.967% under the conditions of microwave power of 500 W, exposure time of 120 sec, and water bath at 55°C. 3Relationship between the parent charge transfer gap and maximum transition temperature in cuprates显示文摘One of the biggest puzzles concerning the cuprate high temperature superconductors is what determines the maximum transition temperature(Tc,max), which varies from less than 30 to above 130 K in different compounds.Despite this dramatic variation, a robust trend is that within each family, the double-layer compound always has higher Tc,maxthan the single-layer counterpart. Here we use scanning tunneling microscopy to investigate the electronic structure of four cuprate parent compounds belonging to two different families. We find that within each family, the double layer compound has a much smaller charge transfer gap size(DCT), indicating a clear anticorrelation between DCTand Tc,max. 4Investigation on effect of semiconducting screen on space charge behaviour of polypropylene-based polymers for HVDC cables显示文摘High voltage direct current(HVDC)power transmission cable is critical for realising sustainability through renewable energy revolution.Eco-friendly thermoplastic polypropylene(PP)-based polymers/nanocomposites are regarded as promising candidates for replacing current thermoset crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE)cables.As an essential component of the extruded HVDC cable for improving conductor/insulation interface and suppressing charge injection to insulation at high DC electrical stresses,developing semiconducting(SC)screens that are compatible with PP-based insulation is of similar importance but has not been well studied yet.This work aims at designing PP-based semiconducting screens and investigating space charge behaviours of SC/PP/SC sandwich specimen to unfold the effect of semiconducting materials,bonding methods,applied DC electric field,and temperature on charge injection,accumulation,transportation,and dissipation in PP-based insulation.Although conventional thermal,mechanical,and low field electrical characterisations demonstrated that all of the developed semiconducting materials meet the performance criteria of commercial semiconducting materials,their space charge and local electric field distribution varied significantly at high DC fields.Compared with the traditional non-bonded configuration used at lab-scale,charge injection was enhanced in hot-pressed SC/PP/SC samples with tightly bonded interfaces,which better reflects the real situation in extruded cables.High temperature further intensified charge injections.Besides,our results also revealed that high temperature and electric field strongly influence charge mobilities and consequently their distribution and local electric field in PP-based insulations.Mingyu Zhou Haitian Wang Xintong Ren George Chen Yi Luo Fan Yu 2022High Voltage2022,7,5:1
5Contribution of Winter SSTA in the Tropical Eastern Pacific to Changes of Tropical Cyclone Precipitation over Southeast China显示文摘Tropical cyclone precipitation(TCP)accounts for 10%-40%of the boreal summer precipitation that occurs over Southeast China(SEC),causing flood disasters and serious damage.On the decadal scale,TCP increases significantly in SEC while TC frequency decreases in the western North Pacific(WNP)during 1980-2019.Therefore,variations in TCP and the corresponding physical mechanism are investigated in this study.First,an empirical statistical method is introduced to quantify the TCP amount based on accumulated cyclone energy(ACE)and TC frequency with the TCP anomaly decomposed into three items(rainfall frequency,rainfall intensity,and nonlinear item).ACE,as the integration of TC intensity and frequency,is a more effective index than TC frequency for depicting the characteristics of TCP because the contribution of rainfall frequency represented by ACE is higher than that of TC frequency.Then,the physical mechanism affecting the WNP TC activities and TCP in SEC are inspected.Positive sea surface temperature anomaly(SSTA)over the tropical eastern Pacific(TEP)in winter can trigger variations of air-sea interaction over the tropical Pacific,including low-level divergent winds,mid-tropospheric descent flows,high-level convergent winds coupled with negative anomalies of vorticity and humidity over the tropical western Pacific(TWP)in the next summer.These dynamic conditions provide unfavorable environments for TC activities in the WNP and constrain TCP in SEC.Furthermore,more significantly negative SSTA events in the TEP facilitate enhanced ACE along with positive relative vorticity,relative humidity,and upwelling vertical winds anomalies over the coast of SEC after 1998,which is a reasonable explanation for the increasing TCP in SEC.Xianghua WU Qihao ZHU Chao WANG Yue ZHOU Yiqi CHEN Xintong TIAN Yajie HUA 2022Journal of Meteorological Research2022,36,2:1

7Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation of language function in patients with refractory epilepsy A preliminary functional magnetic resonance imaging study显示文摘To investigate whether repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS) can improve language function in patients with refractory epilepsy,three right-handed,refractory epilepsy patients, who had complained of language dysfunction,were recruited.Over 1 month,1-Hz rTMS treatment was performed every 3 days.A battery of language production and functional MRI were evaluated in the patients using a standard verb generation task both before and 1 month after rTMS treatment. Significant and lasting improvement in verb production was observed following rTMS treatment. 8Effect of Cardioplegia for Myocardial Protection in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery:A Network Meta-Analysis显示文摘Cardioplegia has been widely used to reduce myocardial injury during pediatric cardiac surgery;however,which cardioplegia solution has the best protective effect has not been established.Thus,we compared the myocardial protective effects of different cardioplegia solutions used in pediatric cardiac surgery.Seven databases were searched to identify the relevant randomized controlled trials.A network meta-analysis with a Bayesian framework was conducted.The outcomes included the following biochemical and clinical outcomes:serum concentrations of the creatine kinase-myocardial band at 6 h postoperatively;cardiac troponin I(cTnI)at 4,12,and 24 h postoperatively;spontaneous beating after declamping;postoperative arrhythmias;inotropic support percentage and duration;mechanical ventilation hours;intensive care unit stay in days;hospital stay in days;and mortality.The group treated with cold crystalloid cardioplegia(cCCP)was chosen as the control group.The 22 studies involved 1529 patients.Six types of cardioplegia solutions were described in these studies,including cold blood cardioplegia,cCCP,del Nido,histidine-tryptophan-ketoglutarate(HTK),terminal warm blood cardioplegia,and warm blood cardioplegia(wBCP).The serum concentrations of the 24-h cTnI with wBCP(MD=−2.52,95%CI:−4.74 to−0.27)was significantly lower than cCCP.The serum concentrations of the 24-h cTnI with HTK(MD=4.91,95%CI:2.84–7.24)was significantly higher than cCCP.There was no significant difference in other biochemical and clinical outcomes when compared to cCCP.In conclusion,wBCP may have a superior myocardial protective effect with lower 24-h cTnI levels postoperatively and similar clinical outcomes after pediatric cardiac surgery.Ke Zhou Dongyu Li Xintong Zhang Wensheng Wang Shusen Li Guang Song 2021Congenital Heart Disease2021,16,6:0
9Microenvironment components and spatially resolved single-cell transcriptome atlas of breast cancer metastatic axillary lymph nodes显示文摘As an indicator of clinical prognosis,lymph node metastasis of breast cancer has drawn great attention.Many reports have revealed the characteristics of metastatic breast cancer cells,however,the effect of breast cancer cells on the microenvironment components of lymph nodes and spatial transcriptome atlas remains unclear.In this study,by integrating single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)and spatial transcriptomics,we investigate the transcriptional profiling of six surgically excised lymph node samples and the spatial organization of one positive lymph node.We identify the existence of osteoclast-like giant cells(OGC)which have high expressions of CD68 and CD163,the biomarkers of tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs).Through a spatially resolved transcriptomic method,we find that OGCs are scattered among metastatic breast cancer cells.In the lymph node microenvironment with breast cancer cell infiltration,TAMs are enriched in protumoral pathways including NF-kB signaling pathways and NoD-like receptor signaling pathways.Further subclustering demonstrates the potential differentiation trajectory in which macrophages develop from a state of active chemokine production to a state of active lymphocyte activation.This study is the first to integrate scRNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics in the tumor microenvironment of axillary lymph nodes,offering a systematic approach to delve into breast cancer lymph node metastasis.Kun Xu Runtian Wang Qin Chen Yiqiu Liu Xintong Li Ling Mao Cenzhu Wang Fangyan Gao Longfei Hu Hui Xie Cong Wang Guohua Zhou Xiaoxiang Guan 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,9:0
10Efficacy and safety of monoclonal antibodies in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders:A survival meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Background Monoclonal antibodies such as rituximab(RTX),eculizumab,inebilizumab,satralizumab,and tocilizumab have been found to be effective therapies for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disease(NMOSD)in several clinical randomized controlled trials.Objective The purpose of this meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials was to assess the efficacy and safety of monoclonal antibodies in the treatment of NMOSD.Methods We searched the following databases for relevant English language literature from the establishment of the database to June 2021:PubMed,Embase,Cohorane Library,the Central Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL),and Web of Science.Randomized controlled trials of monoclonal antibodies were the targets of the review.Results We included seven trials containing 775 patients(485 in the monoclonal antibody group and 290 in the control group).Patients in the monoclonal group(HR 0.24,95%CI:0.14 to 0.40,P<0.00001),as well as patients with seropositive AQP4-IgG(HR 0.18,95%CI:0.11 to 0.29,P<0.00001),both had a higher free recurrence rate than that in the control group.In the first year(HR 0.25,95%CI:0.09 to 0.71,P=0.009)and the second year(HR 0.32,95%CI:0.13 to 0.81,P=0.02),no relapses were documented.The average changes of the expanded disability status scale(EDSS)score decreased by 0.29(95%CI:−0.09 to 0.51,P=0.005).Upper respiratory tract infection(OR 1.52,95%CI:0.76 to 3.04,P=0.24),urinary tract infection(OR 0.79,95%CI:0.51 to 1.21,P=0.27),and headache(OR 1.30,95%CI:0.78 to 2.17,P=0.31)were three most frequent adverse reactions.Conclusions Monoclonal antibodies are particularly effective treatments in avoiding recurrence for NMOSD patients,according to this meta-analysis.The associated adverse responses are not significantly different from those seen with traditional immunosuppressants.Xintong Xu Lindan Xie Lili Wei Meixuan Li Hao Wang Huanfen Zhou Mingming Sun Mo Yang Quangang Xu Kehu Yang Shihui Wei 2022Advances in Ophthalmology Practice and Research2022,2,3:0
11Diffusion tensor imaging reveals brain abnormality patterns in a patient with semantic dementia显示文摘BACKGROUND: Previous studies regarding primary progressive aphasia (PPA) have focused on progressive,non-fluent aphasia.Little information is available with regard to the use of diffusion tensor imaging compared with conventional magnetic resonance imaging for the detection of subtle structural abnormalities.OBJECTIVE: To investigate and localize brain abnormalities in a Chinese patient with semantic dementia.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: A concurrent,non-randomized,case-controlled,neuroimaging,clinical trial was performed at the Department of Radiology,West China Hospital of Sichuan University in March 2009.PARTICIPANTS: One 75-year-old male patient,who was diagnosed with semantic dementia,and 21 age-and gender-matched healthy volunteers were recruited for the study.METHODS: Diffusion tensor imaging was used to determine mean diffusion (MD) and fractional anisotropy (FA) in the brains of the patient and the 21 healthy subjects.Voxel-based analysis of MD and FA values was performed using statistical parametric mapping.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: MD and FA value maps differences between patient and controls.RESULTS: MD was significantly increased in both cerebra,but was predominant on the left side and expanded to outside of the language-related region.Reduced MD was not detected in any of the brains.FA was shown to be decreased in the corpus callosum,but was increased in the basal ganglia.CONCLUSION: The present study provided clear in vivo magnetic imaging evidence of diffuse brain involvement in semantic dementia.Increases in MD were greater than in FA when brain diffusion alterations were detected,which suggested that MD could be a better marker of disease progression.Qiang Yuan Qin Chen Hehan Tang Xintong Wu Qiyong Gong Dong Zhou Ling Zou 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,2:0
12Gas hydrate saturation model and equation for logging interpretation显示文摘Since gas hydrate exists in three different forms at the same time such as pore filling,particle support and separate stratification,the calculation method of hydrate saturation using traditional shaly sand formation interpretation models is equivalent to considering only the simple case that hydrate exists as pore filling,and does not consider other complex states.Based on the analysis of hydrate resistivity experimental data and the general form of the resistivity-oil(gas)saturation relationship,the best simplified formula of hydrate saturation calculation is derived,then the physical meaning of the three items are clarified:they respectively represent the resistivity index-saturation relationship when hydrate particles are completely distributed in the pores of formation rocks,supported in the form of particles,and exist in layers,corresponding quantitative evaluation method of hydrate saturation is built.The field application shows that the hydrate saturation calculated by this method is closer to that obtained by sampling analysis.At the same time,it also provides a logging analysis basis for the effective development after hydrate exploration.LI Ning SUN Wenjie LI Xintong FENG Zhou WU Hongliang WANG Kewen 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,6:0
13Counteraction to China?Impact of the U.S.International Development Finance Corporation on China’s Development Finance显示文摘The United States passed the Better Utilization of Investment Leading to Development(BUILD Act),as a counterweight to China’s overseas development activities.Under the Act,the US established a new federal agency,the U.S.International Development Finance Corporation(DFC),to enhance U.S.development financing capabilities.To better understand the impact of the DFC on China’s development finance,this article analyzes the DFC’s purpose,functions,structure,and funding.Then it focuses on the purpose of establishing the DFC,providing a preliminary analysis of the potential motivation for its establishment.It also compares the China Development Bank(CDB)and the DFC based on their focused sectors.Finally,through an in-depth analysis of financial frictions in China-U.S.relations,this article argues that the DFC competes with China’s overseas development financing activities in the context of broader strategic competition between China and the U.S.ZHOU Yiwen NIU Xinyi NI Xintong XU Yue 2023International Relations and Diplomacy2023,11,4:0
