| 1 | Photonic cavity enhanced high-performance surface plasmon resonance biosensor显示文摘Herein we propose a novel strategy to enhance surface plasmon resonance(SPR)by introducing a photonic cavity into a total-internal-reflection architecture.The photonic cavity,which is comprised of a highly reflective photonic crystal(PC),defect layers,and a gold(Au)film,enables Fabry–Perot(FP)resonances in the defect layers and therefore narrows the SPR resonance width in the metallic surface as well as increases the electric field intensity and penetration depth in the evanescent region.The fabricated sensor exhibits a 5.7-fold increase in the figure of merit and a higher linear coefficient as compared with the conventional Au-SPR sensor.The demonstrated PC/FP cavity/metal structure presents a new design philosophy for SPR performance enhancement. | GUI-SHI LIU XIN XIONG SHIQI HU WEICHENG SHI YAOFEI CHEN WENGUO ZHU HUADAN ZHENG JIANHUI YU NUR HIDAYAH AZEMAN YUNHAN LUO ZHE CHEN | 2020 | Photonics Research2020，8，4： | 4 |
| 2 | KLF2 inhibits TGF-β-mediated cancer cell motility in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Feedback regulation plays a pivotal role in determining the intensity and duration of TGF-p signaling and subsequently affecting the pathophysiological roles of TGF-p,including those in liver malignancy.KLF2,a member of the Kruppel-like factor(KLF)fam ily transcription factors,has been implicated in impeding hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)development.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms are not fully understood.In the present study,we found that TGF-p stimulates the expression of KLF2 gene in several HCC cell lines.KLF2 protein is able to inhibit TGF-p/Smad signaling in HCC cells as assessed by luciferase reporter assay.Further studies indicated that KLF2 inhibits the transcriptional activity of Smad2/3 and Smad4 and ameliorates TGF-p-induced target gene expression,therefore creating a novel negative feedback loop in TGFp signaling.Functionally,stably expression of KLF2 in HCCLM3 cells attenuated TGF-卜induced cancer cell motility in wound-healing and transwell assays by interfering with TGF-p-mediated upregulation of MMP2.Together,our results revealed that KLF2 protein has a tumor-suppressive function in HCC through a negative feedback loop over TGF-p signaling. | Yining Li Shuo Tu Yi Zeng Cheng Zhang Tian Deng Weicheng Luo Lingyan Lian Ling Chen Xiangyang Xiong Xiaohua Yan | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020，52，5： | 2 |
