| 1 | Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). | 2 | Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells retain immunomodulatory and anti-oxidative activities after neural induction显示文摘The immunomodulatory and anti-oxidative activities of differentiated mesenchymal stem cells contribute to their therapeutic efficacy in cell-replacement therapy. Mesenchymal stem cells were isolated from human umbilical cord and induced to differentiate with basic fibroblast growth factor, nerve growth factor, epidermal growth factor, brain-derived neurotrophic factor and forskolin. The mesenchymal stem cells became rounded with long processes and expressed the neural markers, Tuj1, neurofilament 200, microtubule-associated protein-2 and neuron-specific enolase. Nestin expression was significantly reduced after neural induction. The expression of immunoregulatory and anti-oxidative genes was largely unchanged prior to and after neural induction in mesenchymal stem cells. There was no significant difference in the effects of control and induced mesenchymal stem cells on lymphocyte proliferation in co-culture experiments. However, the expression of human leukocyte antigen-G decreased significantly in induced neuron-like cells. | 3 | Monitor and control of neuronal activities with femtosecond pulse laser显示文摘Combined with the fluorescence labeling technique, two-photon microscopy excited with femtosecond pulse laser has become an important tool for neuroscience research. In this research, the calcium signals from neurons in rat cortex slice were monitored by a custom-built two-photon microscopy, and the spontaneous calcium signals and the pharmacological responses as well as the responses to femtosecond pulse laser stimulation were recorded. The results showed that the amplitude of the cal-cium signals increased in direct proportion to the corresponding electrical activities. Glutamate induced a calcium transient, but continuous application resulted in smaller response. Simultaneous monitoring of neuronal populations distinguished the neurons of different microcircuits. The femtosecond pulse laser induced local or global calcium signals in the pyramidal neurons. | 4 | Sedimentary filling and sequence structure dominated by T-R cycles of the Nenjiang Formation in the Songliao Basin显示文摘The Nenjiang Formation in the Songliao Basin is a symmetrical sequence of progradation-retrogradation,and is formed in the transgression cycle and regression cycle(T-R cycles)of the base level of deposition.We analyzed the drilling,well logging,core data,and seismic profiles of basin level,and by using the sequence stratigraphy,identified one secondary sequence boundary,two third-order sequence boundaries,and eight fourth-order sequence boundaries in the Nenjiang Formation.These eleven sequence boundaries can be divided into structural unconformity,depositional unconformity,flooding surface,and forced regression surface.Therefore the Nenjiang Formation can be subdivided into one secondary sequence,three third-order sequences,and ten fourth-order sequences.We have restored the sedimentary filling evolution within the stratigraphic framework of fourth-order sequences in the Nenjiang Formation.The sedimentary period of the first member of the Nenjiang Formation was corresponded to the global transgression period,which is also the development period of transgression cycle(T cycle),when the lake basin had the largest scope and deepest sedimentary water,the SB07(the maximum flooding surface)was formed on the top of strata during this period;covering above the SB07,there developed a set of condensation layer-oil shale,which is distributed in the whole basin and is the important source bed and regional cover.Therefore,a retrogradation sequence was formed in the T cycle of the first member of the Nenjiang Formation,characterized by the retrograding delta at a low angle.The delta has a giant front,a small plain,and many underwater distributary channels.Meanwhile,large gravity flow channels and sublacustrine fans are developed in the front of the delta.During the depositional period of the second member of the Nenjiang Formation,the R cycle began to develop due to the compression of the pacific tectonic domain;the source direction rotated 90°along with the eastern uplifting of the basin,and formed a series of east-west prograded and forced retrogradations.The prograding delta at high angel was developed in the interior of the sequence;the delta had a small front,a giant plain,and fewer underwater distributary channels,with the collapse at the foreslope,forming a series of slump fans.The slump fans can be divided into three types:discrete type,superimposed type,and fluid type.We built a whole'triad model'of the slump fan.Pointed out that the sequence of forced retrogradation formed by R cycle is a good structural mark of basin optimization,and rejected the viewpoint of'transgression'in the Nenjiang Formation of the Songliao Basin. | ZHANG ChenChen ZHANG Shun WEI Wei WU ChaoDong LIANG JiangPing NIU Wen DU JinXia FU XiuLi CUI KunNing WANG Chao WANG Hui | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,2: | 5 |
| 5 | Genomic analyses of metal resistance genes in three plant growth promoting bacteria of legume plants in Northwest mine tailings, China显示文摘To better understand the diversity of metal resistance genetic determinant from microbes that survived at metal tailings in northwest of China, a highly elevated level of heavy metal containing region, genomic analyses was conducted using genome sequence of three native metal-resistant plant growth promoting bacteria(PGPB). It shows that: Mesorhizobium amorphae CCNWGS0123 contains metal transporters from P-type ATPase, CDF(Cation Diffusion Facilitator), Hup E/Ure J and CHR(chromate ion transporter) family involved in copper, zinc, nickel as well as chromate resistance and homeostasis. Meanwhile, the putative Cop A/Cue O system is expected to mediate copper resistance in Sinorhizobium meliloti CCNWSX0020 while Znt A transporter, assisted with putative Czc D, determines zinc tolerance in Agrobacterium tumefaciens CCNWGS0286. | 6 | Detection of TNT by a molecularly imprinted polymer film-based surface plasmon resonance sensor显示文摘A surface plasmon resonance(SPR) sensor using a molecularly imprinted polymer(MIP) film as a recognition element for detection of 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene(TNT) was developed.The TNT-imprinted polymer film was prepared by thermo initiated polymerization on the bare Au surface of an SPR sensor chip.Template TNT molecules were quickly removed with an organic solution of acetonitrile/acetic acid(9:1,v/v),causing a shift of 0.7° in SPR angle.The limit of detection for TNT was demonstrated to be as low as 1×10-8 mol/L.In the concentration range of 1×10-8-1×10-5 mol/L,the change of SPR angle was linear with the negative logarithm of TNT concentration,Selectivity studies showed that the SPR sensor had no response to TNT analogues 2,4,5-trinitrotoluene and 1,3,5-trinitrohexahydro-1,3,5-triazine at a concentration of 1×10-4 mol/L.The results suggest that the SPR sensor combined with a MIP film has the advantages of high sensitivity and selectivity,and long-term stability toward the analyte TNT. | BAO Han WEI TianXin LI XiuLi ZHAO Zhe CUI He ZHANG Peng | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17: | 4 |

| 8 | Significant Inhibition of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus In Vitro by Remdesivir,Its Parent Nucleoside and β-D-N^(4)-hydroxycytidine显示文摘Porcine epidemic diarrhea(PED)caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV)is widespread in the world.In recent years,the increased virulence of the virus due to viral variations,has caused great economic losses to the pig industry in many countries.It is always worthy to find effective therapeutic methods for PED.As an important class of antivirals,nucleoside drugs which target viral polymerases have been applied in treating human viral infections for half a century.Herein,we evaluated the anti-PEDV potential of three broad-spectrum antiviral nucleoside analogs,remdesivir(RDV),its parent nucleoside(RDV-N)andβ-D-N^(4)-hydroxycytidine(NHC).Among them,RDV-N was the most active agent in Vero E6 cells with EC_(50) of 0.31μmol/L,and more potent than RDV(EC_(50)=0.74μmol/L)and NHC(EC_(50)=1.17μmol/L).The activity of RDV-N was further confirmed using an indirect immuno-fluorescence assay.Moreover,RDV-N exhibited a good safety profile in cells and in mice.The high sequence similarity of the polymerase functional domains of PEDV with other five porcine coronaviruses indicated a broader antiviral spectrum for the three compounds.Generally,RDV-N is a promising broad-spectrum antiviral nucleoside,and it would be worthy to make some structural modifications to increse its oral bioavailability. | Yuanchao Xie Xiaozhen Guo Tianwen Hu Daibao Wei Xiuli Ma Jiaqiang Wu Bing Huang Jingshan Shen | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,5: | 3 |
| 9 | Pharmacokinetic investigation on nteraction between hydrophilic lithospermic acid B and lipophilic tanshinone IIA in rats:an experimental study显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To elucidate the interaction between hydrophilic lithospermic acid B and lipophilic tanshinone Ⅱ A in rats.METHODS:A reliable high-performance liquid chromatography method was adopted for simultaneous determination of lithospermic acid B and tanshinone Ⅱ A in rat plasma,through which the pharmacokinetic interaction between lithospermic acid B and tanshinone Ⅱ A by intravenous injection was investigated.RESULTS:The simultaneous intravenous injection of tanshinone Ⅱ A and lithospermic acid B significantly altered the pharmacokinetic parameters of both compounds when compared with the individual intravenous administration of each compound.The area under the concentration-time curve of tanshinone Ⅱ A and lithospermic acid B increased by 18.35 and 59.31%,respectively.The mean retention time of tanshinone Ⅱ A and lithospermic acid B increased,respectively,from 9.3 to 32.8 h and20.2 to 49.1 h.The concomitant use of tanshinoneⅡ A magnified the volume of distribution at steady state(V_(ss)) and time for the drug in the plasma to reduce the highest concentration by half(t_(1/2)) of lithospermic acid B,while at the same time the V_(ss) and t_(1/2)of tanshinone Ⅱ A changed significantly in the presence of lithospermic acid B.CONCLUSION:Lithospermic acid B and tanshinone D A interact with each other following simultaneous intravenous injection in rats and this observation may expand the clinical use of Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae). | Wang Xiuli Gao Wei Sun Mao | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2: | 3 |

| 14 | Study on Synthesis of Mesoporous M-MCM-48(M=Zr,Mg) and Its Activity for Isomerization of n-Heptane显示文摘The mesoporous materials supported zirconium(Zr-MCM-48) and magnesium(Mg-MCM-48) with three-dimensional pore structures and different Zr or Mg contents were prepared via the hydrothermal method, respectively. The prepared samples were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEM), transmission electron microscope(TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), NH_3 temperature programmed desorption(NH_3-TPD) and N_2 adsorption-desorption. The XRD, TEM and N_2 adsorption-desorption results suggested that M-MCM-48(where M = Zr, Mg) samples still maintained typical cubic mesoporous framework of MCM-48, with slight decrease of specific surface areas and mesopore orders. The isomerization of n-heptane was carried out as a probe reaction at various factors including the zirconium or magnesium content, reaction time, reaction temperature and weight hourly space velocity(WHSV). Preliminary results demonstrated that the Mg-MCM-48 catalyst exhibited a higher catalytic activity with a maximum heptane conversion of 91.5% and a corresponding isomerization selectivity of 72.3% as compared to that of ZrMCM-48. | 18 | Responses of Soil Bacterial Diversity to Fertilization are Driven by Local Environmental Context Across China显示文摘Soil microbial diversity is extremely vulnerable to fertilization,which is one of the main anthropogenic activities associated with global changes.Yet we know little about how and why soil microbial diversity responds to fertilization across contrasting local ecological contexts.This knowledge is fundamental for predicting changes in soil microbial diversity in response to ongoing global changes.We analyzed soils from ten 20-year field fertilization(organic and/or inorganic)experiments across China and found that the national-scale responses of soil bacterial diversity to fertilization are dependent on ecological context.In acidic soils from regions with high precipitation and soil fertility,inorganic fertilization can result in further acidification,resulting in negative impacts on soil bacterial diversity.In comparison,organic fer-tilization causes a smaller disturbance to soil bacterial diversity.Despite the overall role of environmental contexts in driving soil microbial diversity,a small group of bacterial taxa were found to respond to fer-tilization in a consistent way across contrasting regions throughout China.Taxa such as Nitrosospira and Nitrososphaera,which benefit from nitrogen fertilizer addition,as well as Chitinophagaceae,Bacilli,and phototrophic bacteria,which respond positively to organic fertilization,could be used as bioindicators for soil fertility in response to fertilization at the national scale.Overall,our work provides new insights into the importance of local environmental context in determining the responses of soil microbial diver-sity to fertilization,and identifies regions with acidic soils wherein soil microbial diversity is more vul-nerable to fertilization at the national scale. | Youzhi Feng Manuel Delgado-Baquerizo Yongguan Zhu Xiaozeng Han Xiaori Han Xiuli Xin Wei Li Zhibing Guo Tinghui Dang Chenhua Li Bo Zhu Zejiang Cai Daming Li Jiabao Zhang | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,5: | 1 |
