| 1 | Design and experiments of an active isolator for satellite micro-vibration显示文摘In this paper, a soft active isolator(SAI) derived from a voice coil motor is studied to determine its abilities as a micro-vibration isolation device for sensitive satellite payloads. Firstly,the two most important parts of the SAI, the mechanical unit and the low-noise driver, are designed and manufactured. Then, a rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model of the SAI is built, and a dynamic analysis is conducted. Furthermore, a controller with a sky-hook damper is designed. Finally,results from the performance tests of the mechanical/electronic parts and the isolation experiments are presented. | 2 | Radiomic analysis of pulmonary ground-glass opacity nodules for distinction of preinvasive lesions, invasive pulmonary adenocarcinoma and minimally invasive adenocarcinoma based on quantitative texture analysis of CT显示文摘Objective: To identify the differences among preinvasive lesions, minimally invasive adenocarcinomas(MIAs)and invasive pulmonary adenocarcinomas(IPAs) based on radiomic feature analysis with computed tomography(CT).Methods: A total of 109 patients with ground-glass opacity lesions(GGOs) in the lungs determined by CT examinations were enrolled, all of whom had received a pathologic diagnosis. After the manual delineation and segmentation of the GGOs as regions of interest(ROIs), the patients were subdivided into three groups based on pathologic analyses: the preinvasive lesions(including atypical adenomatous hyperplasia and adenocarcinoma in situ) subgroup, the MIA subgroup and the IPA subgroup. Next, we obtained the texture features of the GGOs. The data analysis was aimed at finding both the differences between each pair of the groups and predictors to distinguish any two pathologic subtypes using logistic regression. Finally, a receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was applied to accurately evaluate the performances of the regression models.Results: We found that the voxel count feature(P<0.001) could be used as a predictor for distinguishing IPAs from preinvasive lesions. However, the surface area feature(P=0.040) and the extruded surface area feature(P=0.013) could be predictors of IPAs compared with MIAs. In addition, the correlation feature(P=0.046) could distinguish preinvasive lesions from MIAs better.Conclusions: Preinvasive lesions, MIAs and IPAs can be discriminated based on texture features within CT images, although the three diseases could all appear as GGOs on CT images. | 3 | Microstructure evolution,texture and mechanical properties of a Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr alloy fabricated by cyclic expansion extrusion with an asymmetrical extrusion cavity:The influence of passes and processing route显示文摘In the present work,two processing routes(A and B)with 3 CEE-AEC passes are performed on Mg-13 Gd-4 Y-2 Zn-0.4 Zr alloys,and the resultant microstructure evolution,texture analysis and mechanical properties are investigated systematically.The core difference between the two processing routes is the orientation between the expansion and extrusion steps,i.e.,they are parallel to each other for on route A and perpendicular to each other for route B.The results show that a remarkable grain refinement is achieved via both processing routes due to dynamic recrystallization(DRX).Fine equiaxed grains are observed in the samples processed with route B with a final size of 3.6±0.4μm compared to the grain size of 4.5±0.5μm with route A.With an increasing number of CEE-AEC passes,the overall texture intensity decreases,and the basal texture gradually changes to the mixed texture components.The shear deformation introduced by the asymmetrical extrusion cavity promotes a broad angular distribution of the basal planes on routes A and B,leading to an obvious increase in the Schmid factor for the activation of the basal a slip system.The tensile test at ambient temperature reveals that the comprehensive mechanical properties are improved,and the conventional mechanical anisotropy of as-received alloys is alleviated by successive CEE-AEC processing,which is mainly derived from the competitive balance relation between the grain refinement and texture modification. | Zhaoming Yan Xubin Li Jie Zheng Zhimin Zhang Qiang Wang Kaihua Xu Hongzhi Fan Guanshi Zhang Jiaxuan Zhu Yong Xue | 2021 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,3: | 2 |
| 4 | The Simulation of Five Tropical Cyclones by Sample Optimization of Ensemble Forecasting Based on the Observed Track and Intensity显示文摘The quality of ensemble forecasting is seriously affected by sample quality.In this study,the distributions of ensemble members based on the observed track and intensity of tropical cyclones(TCs)were optimized and their influence on the simulation results was analyzed.Simulated and observed tracks and intensities of TCs were compared and these two indicators were combined and weighted to score the sample.Samples with higher scores were retained and samples with lower scores were eliminated to improve the overall quality of the ensemble forecast.For each sample,the track score and intensity score were added as the final score of the sample with weight proportions of 10 to 0,9 to 1,8 to 2,7 to 3,6 to 4,5 to 5.These were named as“tr”,“91”,“82”,“73”,“64”,and“55”,respectively.The WRF model was used to simulate five tropical cyclones in the northwestern Pacific to test the ability of this scheme to improve the forecast track and intensity of these cyclones.The results show that the sample optimization effectively reduced the track and intensity error,“55”usually had better performance on the short-term intensity prediction,and“tr”had better performance in short-term track prediction.From the overall performance of the track and intensity simulation,“91”was the best and most stable among all sample optimization schemes.These results may provide some guidance for optimizing operational ensemble forecasting of TCs. | Jihang LI Zhiyan ZHANG Lu LIU Xubin ZHANG Jingxuan QU and Qilin WAN | 2021 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,10: | 2 |

| 9 | Directional design and synthesis of high-yield hollow Fe-MFI zeolite encapsulating ultra-small Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles by using mother liquid显示文摘How to directionally design the hollow zeolite via a green route is of great significance. Here, we successfully synthesized the hollow Fe-silicate-1 encapsulated ultra-small Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles (2.5 nm) with higher yield (85.2%) by mother liquid than traditional dissolution-recrystallization for the first time, which was achieved by precisely regulating the number and distribution of defects in zeolite and cleverly utilizing the TPAOH and nuclei in mother liquor. The effects of synthetic temperature, synthetic period and addition amount of parent zeolite on the formation of hollow zeolite have been investigated and the effect of synthetic conditions on the defects in parent zeolite has been also firstly quantified. The corresponding formation mechanism has been proposed. The abundant inner defects provided by the zeolite synthesized at 130 °C for 1 day and large amount of TPAOH remaining in mother liquid are conducive to the formation of hollow zeolite. Meanwhile, both parent zeolite and nuclei (4-, 5-member rings and structure units) in mother liquid obtained at 130 °C play the crucial roles in enhancing the zeolite yield. Notably, Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles could decompose into small fragments by the interaction with nuclei in mother liquid. Partial ultra-small Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles would be encapsulated in cavity and the rest could be inserted in the zeolite framework, which is significantly different from the conventional dissolution-recrystallization mechanism. | 12 | Preliminary outcome of rituximab-containing salvage regimens on relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma: single institution experience显示文摘Objective: The prognosis of relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphoma is poor, with a short-term survival after conven- tional second-line chemotherapy. Rituximab, a chimeric anti-CD20 antigen, in combination with CHOP or CHOP-like chemo- therapy may improve both disease free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) of naive patients, but its role in the second-line therapy for relapsed non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) remains to be defined. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of rituximab-containing salvage regimens for relapsed or refractory NHL, and observe the toxicities. Methods: The clinical data of 54 patients, who were with relapsed or refractory NHL and treated in the Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University, were analyzed retrospectively. Of the 54 patients, 29 were man, 25 were women, with a median age of 52.5 years old (range 18 to 75); 50 patients (92.6%) scored 0–1 for the ECOG performance status; for second-line international prognostic index (sIPI), 21 (38.9%) scored 0–1, 30 (55.6%) scored 2 to 3, and 3 (5.6%) scored 4–5; 40 cases were diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), accounting for 74.1% of all subtypes. Rituximab was administered intravenously at a dose of 375 mg/m2 at the day before each chemotherapy cycle. The second or third-line salvage regimens included EPOCH, CHOP, DHAP, DICE, IVAC, IMVP-16 and FND. Results: Of the 54 patients, 49 received retuximab-containing salvage regimens. The objective response rate of the 45 evaluable cases was 68.8%, with a complete remission (CR) rate of 37.7%; 3 patients achieved CR after radiotherapy follow- ing rituximab-based regimens and 3 achieved CR after autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The most frequent adverse events were leucopenia, nausea and alopecia. The addition of rituximab to chemotherapy only elevated the occurrence of mild infusion-related reactions, such as chills, fever and pruritus. The median follow-up time was 18 months (range 2–86 months); 5 patients were lost, 24 were dead (23 died of lymphoma, and 1 died of severe hepatitis), the other patients remained alive. The median survival time was 32 months (range 2–86 months, 95% confidential interval 16–48 months). The 1-, 2- and 3-year OS rates were 70.6%, 53.6% and 41.5%, respectively. The median TTP was 6 months (range 0–52 months). The median PFS was 10 months (range 0–47 months, 95% CI 0–26 months). The 1- and 2-year PFS were 49.3% and 41.3%. | 17 | Novel CoFeAlMn high-entropy alloys with excellentsoft magnetic properties and high thermal stability显示文摘High-entropy alloys(HEAs),which are composed of 3d transition metals such as Fe,Co,and Ni,exhibit an exceptional combination of magnetic and other properties;however,the addition of non-ferromagnetic elements always negatively affects the saturation magnetization strength(M s).Co_(4)Fe_(2)Al_(x)Mn_(y) alloys were designed and investigated in this study to develop a novel HEA with excellent soft magnetic properties.The Co_(4)Fe_(2)Al_(1.5)Mn_(1.5) HEA possesses the highest M s of 161.3 emu g^(-1) thus far reported for magnetic HEAs,a low coercivity of 1.9 Oe,a high electrical resistivity of 173μΩ cm,a superior thermal stability up to 600℃,which originates from the novel microstructure of B2 nanoparticles distributed in a DO_(3) matrix phase,and the crucial transition of Mn from antiferromagnetism to ferromagnetism with the assistance of Al.The Co_(4)Fe_(2_)Al_(1.5)Mn_(1.5) HEA was selected to produce micron-sized powder and soft magnetic powder cores(SMPCs)for application in the exploration field.The SMPCs exhibit a high stable effective perme-ability of 35.9 up to 1 MHz,low core loss of 38.1 mW cm^(-3)(@100 kHz,20 mT),and an excellent direct current(DC)bias performance of 87.7%at 100 Oe.This study paves the way for the development of soft magnetic HEAs with promising applications as magnetic functional materials. | Wei Gao Yaqiang Dong Xingjie Jia Liping Yang Xubin Li Shouding Wu Ronglin Zhao Hang Wu Qiang Li Aina He Jiawei Li | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,22: | 0 |

| 19 | An Initialization Scheme for Weak Tropical Cyclones in the South China Sea显示文摘Variations in the initial structure of tropical cyclones(TCs) inevitably affect prediction results;however, the bogus model cannot accurately describe the structure of a weak tropical cyclone with increased initial field resolution. This study aims to construct a model to improve the prediction of weak TC in southern China. Based on the ECMWF 0.1° analysis data, several vortices were filtered out from tropical depressions and tropical storms in 2018 and 2019 to represent a weak TC reservoir in the South China Sea. For different simulation objects, filtered vortices were combined with the TC environmental field to form ensemble members. The observed TC information was assimilated for simulating TCs Bebinca, Mun, and Ewiniar to verify the feasibility of the proposed model, based on the Global/Regional Assimilation and Prediction Enhanced System(GRAPES) 9-km model developed by the Guangzhou Institute of Tropical and Marine Meteorology. The results show that the initialization scheme of the weak tropical cyclone model improved the intensity prediction of the TC by 26.81%(Bebinca), 18.65%(Mun), and 47.00%(Ewiniar), compared with the control experiment. | 20 | Large magnetic entropy change in weberite-type oxides Gd_(3)MO_(7)(M=Nb,Sb,and Ta)显示文摘In the present work,the structure,magnetic properties,and cryogenic magnetocaloric effect of weberite-type oxides Gd_(3)MO_(7)(M=Nb,Sb,and Ta)are reported through powder X-ray diffraction,bulk susceptibility,and heat capacity measurements,as well as scaling law analysis and a mean-field approach.A remarkably large isothermal magnetic entropy change of 354.0 m J K^(-1)cm^(-3)is observed for Gd_(3)SbO_(7)under an external field of 9 T at 2.0 K.The relative cooling power is estimated to be 618.9 J kg^(-1)(4.8 J cm^(-3))for an applied field of 8.9 T,with the largest adiabatic temperature change being 22.4 K at 6.3 K.The magnetocaloric performance of these oxides is quite impressive when compared with the benchmark magnetic refrigerant,gadolinium gallium garnet(Gd_(3)Ga_(5)O_(12),GGG).Therefore,Gd_(3)MO_(7)(M=Nb,Sb,and Ta)are promising alternatives for cryogenic cooling techniques,especially for the magnetic liquefaction of helium. | Ziyu Yang Shijun Qin Xubin Ye Zhehong Liu Yujie Guo Hongzhi Cui Jun-Yi Ge Hui Li Youwen Long Yu-Jia Zeng | 2022 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2022,65,4: | 0 |
