| 1 | Nab-paclitaxel(abraxane)-based chemotherapy to treat elderly patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer:a single center,randomized and open-label clinical trial显示文摘Background:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of abraxane-based chemotherapy with/without nedaplatin in elderly patients with non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Materials and methods:From October 2009 to January 2013,48 elderly patients(>65 years) with NSCLC were investigated in this clinical trial.The patients were randomized and equally allocated into arms A and AP:(A) abraxane(130 mg/m^2,days 1,8);(B) abraxane + nedaplatin(20 mg/m^2 days 1-3,q3w).The parameters of objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),progression-free survival(PFS),overall survival(OS) and side effects were evaluated between two arms.Results:Over 80%of the patients completed four cycles of chemotherapy.The total ORR was 21.3%,DCR was 55.3%,PFS 4.5 months and OS 12.6 months.No significant difference was found between arms A and AP in terms of ORR(16.7%vs.26.1%,P=0.665) or DCR(55.3%vs.56.5%,P=0.871).The median PFS in arm A was 3.3 months[25-75%confidence interval(CI):3.1-7.2]and 5.5 months(25-75%CI:3.2-7.0) in arm AP with no statistical significance(P=0.640).The median OS in arm A was 12.6 months(25-75%CI:5.7-26.2) and 15.1 months(25-75%CI:6.4-35.3) in arm AP with no statistical significance(P=0.770).The side effects were mainly grade 1-2.The incidence of grade 3-4 toxicities was 29.1%in arm A and 62.5%in arm AP with a statistical significance(P=0.020).Conclusions:Compared with combined therapy,abraxane alone chemotherapy was beneficial for elderly NSCLC patients with better tolerability and less adverse events,whereas did not significantly differ in terms of ORR,DCR,PFS or OS. | Hanrui Chen Xuewu Huang Shutang Wang Xinting Zheng Jietao Lin Peng Li Lizhu Lin | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,2: | 12 |
| 2 | Autonomous navigation method and technology implementation of high-precision solar spectral velocity measurement显示文摘The velocity information of spacecraft can be directly obtained by the autonomous navigation method based on astronomical spectral velocity measurement. It provides complete direct velocity measurement information for the traditional navigation methods represented by astronomical angle measurement and astronomical ranging, which is of great significance for spacecraft high precision autonomous navigation. This paper comprehensively introduces the principle and navigation method of astronomical spectral velocity measurement, as well as the technical realization of the solar atomic frequency discriminator for autonomous navigation(SAFDAN) based on atomic frequency discrimination velocity measurement. The new SAFDAN is the first instrument to measure the Doppler velocity of spacecraft relative to the Sun. | 3 | Vapor film collapse triggered by external pressure pulse and the fragmentation of melt droplet in FCIs显示文摘The fragmentation process of high-temperature molten drop is a key factor to determine the ratio heat transferred to power in FCIs,which estimates the possible damage degree during the hypothetical severe accident in the nuclear reactors. In this paper,the fragmentation process of melt droplet in FCIs is investigated by theoretic analysis. The fragmentation mechanism is studied when an external pressure pulse applied to a melt droplet,which is surrounded by vapor film. The vapor film collapse which induces fragmentation of melt droplet is analyzed and modeled. And then the generated pressure is calculated. The vapor film collapse model is introduced to fragmentation correlation,and the predicted fragment size is calculated and compared with experimental data. | 4 | Joint observation results of Na layer and ionosphere in Wuhan during the Total Solar Eclipse显示文摘During the total solar eclipse on July 22, 2009 in Wuhan, the joint observation test of Na layer and ionosphere was conducted by using the daytime observation atmospheric lidar and the GPS ionosphere detector. The results show that the full width at half maximum(FWHM) of Na layer density slightly narrowed during the total solar eclipse and broadened after the eclipse, while the height of Na peak slightly decreased in the eclipse and increased after the eclipse. These implying that Na layer changes reflect the rapid process of sunrise and sunset. The ionosphere total electron content(TEC) and the sky background light noise also presented an obvious fluctuation characteristic with the changes of solar irradiation during the process of total solar eclipse. The difference lies in that the changes of FWHM of Na layer atoms are much slower than that of ionosphere, the reason for this might be that the Na layer, after being disturbed by the total solar eclipse, will generate a series of complicated photochemical reactions and momentum transport processes, and then recombine the Na atoms. In FCIs, fragmentation model of molten droplets is a key factor to estimate degree of possible damage. In this paper, the mixing process in FCIs is studied by the simulation of MIXA experiment with hydrodynamic fragmentation model. The result shows that hydrodynamic fragmentation model underestimates the fragmentation rate of high temperature molten droplets under the condition of low Weber numbers.
