1Vibration and sound radiation of a rotating train wheel subject to a vertical harmonic wheel–rail force显示文摘The rapid development of high-speed railway networks requires advanced methods for analysing vibration and sound radiation characteristics of a fast rotating train wheel subject to a vertical harmonic wheel–rail force.In order to consider the rotation of the wheel and at the same time increase the computational efficiency, a procedure is adapted in this paper taking advantage of the axial symmetry of the wheel. In this procedure, a recently developed 2.5D finite element method, which can consider wheel rotation but only requires a 2D mesh over a cross section containing the wheel axis, is used to calculate the vibration response of the wheel. Then, the vibration response of the wheel is taken as acoustic boundary condition and the 2.5D acoustic boundary element method,which only requires a 1D mesh over the boundary of the above cross section, is utilised to calculate the sound radiation of the wheel. These 2.5D methods and relevant programs are validated by comparing results from this procedure with those from conventional 3D analyses using commercial software. The comparison also demonstrates that these 2.5D methods have a much higher computational efficiency. Using the 2.5D methods, we study the wheel rotation speed influences on the factors including the vertical receptance of the wheel at wheel–rail contact point,sound pressure level at a pre-defined standard measurement point, radiated sound power level, directivity of the radiation, and contribution of each part of the wheel. It can be concluded that the wheel rotation speed splits most peaks of the vertical receptance at the wheel–rail contact point,sound pressure levels at the field, and the sound power level of the wheel into two peaks. The directivity and power contribution of the wheel are also significantly changed by the wheel rotation speed. 4Equivalent efficacy assessment of QL1101 and bevacizumab in nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer patients:A two-year follow-up data update显示文摘Objective: Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) monoclonal antibodies are an effective means of treating non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). Here, we aim to update the equivalent efficacy assessment between QL1101 and bevacizumab based on two-year follow-up data.Methods: In total, 535 eligible NSCLC patients were enrolled in this randomized controlled trial. Patients were randomly assigned 1:1 to the QL1101 group and the bevacizumab group. The full end time of this study was defined as 24 months after the last enrolled patient was randomized. The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR);equivalence was confirmed if the two-sided 90% confidence interval(90% CI) of the relative risk was within the range of 0.75-1.33. The secondary endpoints were progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS).Results: The two-year updated data showed similar ORR(QL1101 vs. bevacizumab: 53.1% vs. 54.3%;relative risk=0.977;90% CI: 0.838-1.144), PFS(235 d vs. 254 d, log-rank P=0.311), and OS(577 d vs. 641 d, log-rank P=0.099) results between the QL1101 group and the bevacizumab group. The mean shrinkage ratio of targeted lesions was also similar between the QL1101 group and the bevacizumab group(22.5% vs. 23.5%). 7The exquisite integration of ESIPT, PET and AIE for constructing fluorescent probe for Hg(II) detection and poisoning显示文摘Excessive mercury ions(Hg^(2+)) in the environment can accumulate in human body along with the food chain to cause serious physiological reactions.The fluorescence probes were considered as convenient tool with great potential for Hg^(2+) detection.Most existing probes suffer from aggregation-induced quenching(ACQ) effects and insufficient sensitivity.Herein,a novel type of fluorophore was developed by combining the aggregation-induced emission(AIE) and excited state intramolecular proton transfer(ESIPT) characteristics.Subsequently,a phenyl thioformate group with photoinduced electron transfer(PET)effect was connected to give an efficient 'turn-on' probe(HTM),which exhibited good selectivity toward Hg^(2+),short response time(30 min),coupled with extremely low detection limit(LOD=1.68 nmol/L).In addition,HTM was used successfully in real samples,cells and drug evaluation,underlying the superiority of HTM to detect Hg^(2+) in practical applications.Xiang Cheng Shuai Huang Qian Lei Fei Chen Fan Zheng Shibo Zhong Xueyan Huang Bin Feng Xueping Feng Wenbin Zeng 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,4:0
8Successful management of seven cases of critical COVID-19 with early noninvasive-invasive sequential ventilation algorithm and bundle pharmacotherapy显示文摘We report the clinical and laboratory findings and successful management of seven patients with critical coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)requiring mechanical ventilation(MV).The patients were diagnosed based on epidemiological history,clinical manifestations,and nucleic acid testing.Upon diagnosis with COVID-19 of critical severity,the patients were admitted to the intensive care unit,where they received early noninvasive-invasive sequential ventilation,early prone positioning,and bundle pharmacotherapy regimen,which consists of antiviral,anti-inflammation,immune-enhancing,and complication-prophylaxis medicines.The patients presented fever(n=7,100%),dry cough(n=3,42.9%),weakness(n=2,28.6%),chest tightness(n=1,14.3%),and/or muscle pain(n=1,14.3%).All patients had normal or lower than normal white blood cell count/lymphocyte count,and chest computed tomography scans showed bilateral patchy shadows or ground glass opacity in the lungs.Nucleic acid testing confirmed COVID-19 in all seven patients.The median MV duration and intensive care unit stay were 9.9 days(interquartile range,6.5-14.6 days;range,5-17 days)and 12.9 days(interquartile range,9.7-17.6 days;range,7-19 days),respectively.All seven patients were extubated,weaned off MV,transferred to the common ward,and discharged as of the writing of this report.Thus,we concluded that good outcomes for patients with critical COVID-19 can be achieved with early noninvasive-invasive sequential ventilation and bundle pharmacotherapy.Mian Peng Xueyan Liu Jinxiu Li Di Ren Yongfeng Liu Xi Meng Yansi Lyu Ronglin Chen Baojun Yu Weixiong Zhong 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,5:0
9Application of sequential extraction for analyzing source and sink of uranium in Huanghe River sediments,China显示文摘Geochemical behaviors of heavy metals are closely related to their chemical state that can be divided by sequential extraction into exchangeable(F1),bound to carbonates(F2),bound to Fe-Mn oxides(F3),bound to organic matter or sulfide(F4),and residual(F5).Uranium in sediment of the Huanghe(Yellow)River,China,in different chemical states was extracted using the five-step procedure of Tessier and the source and sink were analyzed.Results show that more than 70%of the total uranium was immobile residual F5 in abundance,followed in order of F4>F3>F2>F1,indicating that the main source of uranium in the sediments was from weathered rock in the drainage basin.In addition,the uranium in the sediments presents potential exogenous input in the Lanzhou,Baotou,and Tongguan reach.Fe-Mn oxides are main carriers of unstable uranium,especially those of F1 and F3.Calcite and illite are secondary adsorption minerals of unstable uranium in sediments under natural conditions.Human activities can also produce an obvious impact on uranium speciation.This study provides a reference for the application of sequential extraction in analyzing the source and sink of uranium in river sediments.Xihuang ZHONG Xueyan JIANG Huijun HE Wenwen ZHANG Chunxia MENG Feng SUN 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,3:0
