| 2 | Adjuvant radiotherapy in central hepatocellular carcinoma after narrow-margin hepatectomy:A 10-year real-world evidence显示文摘Objective:A prospective randomized control study investigated the feasibility and efficacy of adjuvant radiotherapy on patients with central hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm).This study presents an updated 10-year real-world evidence to further characterize the role of adjuvant radiotherapy.Methods:Patients with central HCC after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm)were prospectively assigned to adjuvant radiotherapy group and control group.Patients'outcome,adverse events,long-term recurrence and survival rates were investigated.Results:The 1-,5-,and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS)rates were 81.0%,43.9%,and 38.7%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 71.7%,35.8%,and 24.2%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.09).The 1-,5-,and 10-year overall survival(OS)rates were 96.6%,54.7%,and 42.8%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 90.2%,55.1%,and 30.0%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.20).The 1-,5-,and 10-year RFS rates for patients with small HCC(≤5 cm)were 91.1%,51.6%,and 48.4%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 80.0%,36.6%,and 26.6%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.03).Landmark analysis demonstrated that patients with small HCC in adjuvant radiotherapy group had a significantly improved OS in second five years after treatment in comparison to patients in control group(log-rank test,P=0.05).Conclusions:Our updated results showed a sustained clinical benefit on reducing recurrence,improving longterm survival for small central HCC by adjuvant radiotherapy after narrow-margin hepatectomy.Long-term survival data also indicated that hepatectomy is an optimal treatment for selected patients with central HCC. | Weiqi Rong Weibo Yu Liming Wang Fan Wu Kai Zhang Bo Chen Chengli Miao Liguo Liu Songlin An Changcheng Tao Weihu Wang Jianxiong Wu | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,5: | 6 |
| 3 | Damping Collaborative Optimization of Five-suspensions for Driver-seat-cab Coupled System显示文摘Both the seat and cab system of truck play a vital role in ride comfort.The damping matching methods of the two systems are studied separately at present.However,the driver,seat,and cab system are one inseparable whole.In order to further improve ride comfort,the seat suspension is regarded as the fifth suspension of the cab,a new idea of 'Five-suspensions' is proposed.Based on this idea,a 4 degree-of-freedom driver-seat-cab coupled system model is presented.Using the tested cab suspensions excitations as inputs and seat acceleration response as compared output,the simulation model is built.Taking optimal ride comfort as target,a new method of damping collaborative optimization for Five-suspensions is proposed.With a practical example of seat and cab system,the damping parameters are optimized and validated by simulation and bench test.The results show the seat vertical frequency-weighted RMS acceleration values tested for the un-optimized and optimized Five-suspensions are 0.50 m/s^2 and 0.39 m/s^2,respectively,with a decrease by 22.0%,which proves the model and method proposed are correct and reliable.The idea of 'Five-suspensions' and the method proposed provide a reference for achieving global optimal damping matching of seat suspension and cab suspensions. | ZHAO Leilei ZHOU Changcheng YU Yuewei | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2016,29,4: | 4 |
| 4 | The role of intraoperative electron radiotherapy in centrally located hepatocellular carcinomas treated with narrow-margin (<1 cm) hepatectomy: a prospective, phase 2 study显示文摘Background: Postoperative radiotherapy (RT) is known to play an important role in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs), but the specific role of intraoperative electron radiotherapy (IOERT) in HCCs remains unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate the safety and efficacy of IOERT in centrally located HCCs treated with narrow-margin (<1 cm) hepatectomy. Methods: This was a single-center, phase 2, prospective non-randomized controlled study, including 268 patients with centrally located HCCs who underwent narrow-margin hepatectomy. The patients were subsequently allocated to the IOERT group (n=59) or to the control group (n=65). The primary outcome of the study was to compare recurrence-free survival (RFS) between the IOERT group and the control group, and the secondary outcome was to compare overall survival (OS) rate between the two groups. Results: Of 268 patients enrolled, a total of 124 were included in the study: 59 in IOERT group, 65 in control group. The 1-, 2-, 3-year RFS rates were 79.3%, 62.1% and 45.8% for patients in the IOERT group, and 47.6%, 28.6%, and 22.9% for patients in the control group, respectively (P=0.025). The 1-, 2-, and 3-year OS rates were 100.0%, 94.9%, and 83.7% for patients in the IOERT group, and 92.3%, 87.5%, and 79.4% for patients in the control group, respectively (P=0.314). Subgroup analysis of MVI (+) patients revealed that RFS and OS are significantly prolonged in the IOERT subgroup as compared to the control, whereas there was no significant difference of RFS and OS between the two groups in MVI (−) patients. Conclusions: IOERT for centrally located HCCs with concurrent narrow-margin hepatectomy was feasible and safe. Statistically better RFS rate was observed in the IOERT group compared to the control group. Subgroup analysis revealed that IOERT was more beneficial for postoperative survival of HCC patients with MVI. Vertical evaporative cooling generator, which adopts Close-Loop-Self-Cycle with no-pump and free convection boil in the hollow stator bar, is one of the great developments in generator design. This article emphasizes the importance of cooling system in generator; expatiates the circulation theory in two aspects, energy and flow; and analyzes the essential reason, motivity and stability of Close-Loop-Self-Cycle. The article points out that the motivity of the circulation is the heat absorbed by coolant. After absorbing heat the coolant will have the ability of doing work because of the phase change. In another words, it is the buoy- ancy causing by density difference leads to the Close-Loop-Self-Cycle. | 7 | Prognostic tumor microenvironment gene and the relationship with immune infiltration characteristics in metastatic breast cancer显示文摘The aim of this study was to reveal genes associated with breast cancer metastasis,to investigate their intrinsic relationship with immune cell infiltration in the tumor microenvironment,and to screen for prognostic biomarkers.Gene expression data of breast cancer patients and their metastases were downloaded from the GEO,TCGA database.R language package was used to screen for differentially expressed genes,enrichment analysis of genes,PPI network construction,and also to elucidate key genes for diagnostic and prognostic survival.Spearman’s r correlation was used to analyze the correlation between key genes and infiltrating immune cells.We screened 25 hub genes,FN1,CLEC5A,ATP8B4,TLR7,LY86,PTGER3 and other genes were differentially expressed in cancer and paraneoplastic tissues.However,patients with higher expression of CD1C,IL-18 breast cancer had a better prognosis in the 10 years survival period,while patients with high expression of FN1,EIF4EBP1 tumors had a worse prognosis.In addition,TP53 and HIF1 genes are closely related to the signaling pathway of breast cancer metastasis.In this study,gene expression of ATP8B4 and CD1C were correlated with cancer tissue infiltration of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes,while GSE43816,GSE62327 and TCGA databases showed that CD8^(+)T lymphocytes were closely associated with breast cancer progression.Functional enrichment analysis of genes based on expression differences yielded key genes of prognostic value in the breast cancer microenvironment. | LU YANG YUN LIU BOKE ZHANG MENGSI YU FEN HUANG YANG WEN JIANGZHENG ZENG YANDA LU CHANGCHENG YANG | 2022 | BIOCELL2022,46,5: | 1 |

| 11 | Simulation of nonlinear vibration responses of cab system subject to suspension damper complete failure for trucks显示文摘The strong vibration responses of the cab system can be restrained by the damper force and the friction of the suspensions for trucks.After the failures of dampers,especially in the case of the complete failure,the anti vibration effect of the friction is prominent.However,the nonlinear vibration response characteristics of the cab subject to the damper complete failure have not been revealed.In order to reveal the nonlinear vibration response characteristics,a dynamic model of the cab system was established and its vibration equations were given.The friction forces existing in the suspensions were determined by the bench test.The influences of the friction forces on the cab vibration under different amplitude harmonic inputs were investigated when the dampers completely fail.The cab vertical displacement changes with the excitation amplitude and the vibration represents various motion states,including the periodic motion,the quasi-periodic motion,and the chaotic motion.The simulation results show that when the dampers fail,the proper friction forces help to suppress the quasi-periodic motion and the chaotic motion of the cab and to reduce the amplitude of the periodic motion.The proper friction forces can make the cab movement far away from the chaos area.They also help to avoid the fatigue damage of the cab floor and suspension parts to improve the service life of the suspension parts and to reduce the maintenance cost of the cab suspensions. | Leilei Zhao Jian Guo Yuewei Yu Xiaohan Li Changcheng Zhou | 2020 | International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2020,11,2: | 0 |

| 16 | A descriptor of “material genes”: Effective atomic size in structural unit of ionic crystals显示文摘The atomic size of each element, described by the ionic radius, is one category of 'material genes' and can facilitate our understanding of atomic arrangements in compounds. Most of the ionic radii currently used to measure the sizes of cations and anions in ionic crystals are derived from hard-sphere model based on the coordination numbers, or the soft-sphere model incorporating the effect of ionic polarization. Herein we take a first step towards a novel 'effective atomic size'(EAS) model,which takes into consideration the impact of the types and number of neighboring atoms on the relationship between ionic radii and interatomic distances. Taking the binary compounds between Group IA/IIA and VIA/VIIA elements gathered from the latest databases as an example, we show that the proposed EAS model can yield excellent agreement between the predicted and the DFT-calculated interatomic distances, with deviation of less than 0.1 ?. A set of EAS radii for ionic crystals has been compiled and the role of coordination numbers, geometric symmetry and distortion of structural units has been examined. | 17 | Restoring cellular calcium homeostasis to rescue ER stress by 1,2-bis(2-aminophenoxy)ethane-N,N,N’,N’-tetraacetic acid acetoxymethyl ester-loaded lipid-mPLGA hybrid-nanoparticles for acute kidney injury therapy显示文摘Early pathogenesis of ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)-induced acute kidney injury(AKI)is dominated by intracellular calcium overload,which induces oxidative stress,intracellular energy metabolism disorder,inflammatory activation,and a series of pathologic cascaded reactions that are closely intertwined with self-amplifying and interactive feedback loops,ultimately resulting in cell damage and kidney failure.Currently,most nanomedicines originate from the perspective of antioxidant stress,which can only quench existing reactive oxide species(ROS)but cannot prevent the continuous production of ROS,resulting in insufficient efficacy.As a safe and promising drug,BAPTA-AM is hydrolyzed into BAPTA by intracellular esterase upon entering cells,which can rapidly chelate with overloaded Ca^(2+),restoring intracellular calcium homeostasis,thus inhibiting ROS regeneration at the source.Here,we designed a KTP-targeting peptide-modified yolk-shell structure of liposome–poly(ethylene glycol)methyl ether-block-poly(L-lactide-co-glycolic)(mPLGA)hybrid nanoparticles(<100 nm),with the characteristics of high encapsulation rate,high colloid stability,facile modification,and prolonged blood circulation time.Once the BA/mPLGA@Lipo-KTP was targeted to the site of kidney injury,the cholesteryl hemisuccinate(CHEMS)in the phospholipid bilayer,as an acidic cholesterol ester,was protonated in the simulated inflammatory slightly acidic environment(pH 6.5),causing the liposomes to rupture and release the BA/mPLGA nanoparticles,which were then depolymerized by intracellular esterase.The BAPTA-AM was diffused and hydrolyzed to produce BAPTA,which can rapidly cut off the malignant loop of calcium overload/ROS generation at its source,blocking the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)apoptosis pathway(ATF4–CHOP–Bax/Bcl-2,Casp-12–Casp-3)and the inflammatory pathway(TNF-α–NF-κB–IL-6 axes),thus alleviating pathological changes in kidney tissue,thereby inhibiting the expression of renal tubular marker kidney injury molecule 1(Kim-1)(reduced by 82.9%)and also exhibiting prominent anti-apoptotic capability(TUNEL-positive ratio decreased from 40.2%to 8.3%),significantly restoring renal function.Overall,this research holds huge potential in the treatment of I/R injury-related diseases. | Jingwen Zhang Jiahui Yan Yanan Wang Hong Liu Xueping Sun Yuchao Gu Liangmin Yu Changcheng Li Jun Wu Zhiyu He | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,3: | 0 |
| 18 | Research on the Marine Antifouling Ability and Mechanism of Acrylate Copolymers and Marine Coatings Based on a Synergistic Effect显示文摘Marine biofouling is an urgent global problem in the process of ocean exploitation and utilization.In our work,a series of zinc-based acrylate copolymers(ACZn-x)were designed and synthesized using benzoic acid,zinc oxide(ZnO)and a random quaternion copolymer consisting of ethyl acrylate(EA),butyl acrylate(BA),acrylic acid(AA)and methacrylic acid(MAA)by free radical polymerization and dehydration condensation.The ACZn-x with a zinc benzoate side chain is able to hydrolyze in natural seawater under static conditions,resulting in the formation of a smooth surface.We investigated and confirmed the antifouling(AF)behavior of ACZn-x in the laboratory and revealed that they have better antibacterial(86%for S.aureus and 72%for E.coli)and anti-algal(≥60.1%for N.closterium and≥67.5%for P.subcordiformis)activities.We also assessed the marine AF properties of ACZn-x and corresponding coatings in Qingdao,China;the ACZn-x exhibited ideal AF properties with little silt and biological mucosa adhered to the ACZn-x surface after 6 months,and corresponding coatings exhibited little biofouling after 16 months in the ocean.Importantly,possible AF mechanisms were further proposed at the cellular level.These results could be helpful for the development and application of effective AF coatings. | ZHOU Wenjun ZHOU Yu NI Chunhua YU Liangmin YUAN Zhengjun LI Changcheng YAN Xuefeng | 2023 | Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,3: | 0 |
| 19 | Vibration characteristics simulation and comparison of traditional cab system model and seat–cab coupled model for trucks显示文摘To define the application fields of the traditional cab system model and the seat–cab coupled model,this paper mainly aims to investigate the differences of the vibration characteristics of the two models.First,the two models and their motion equations were introduced.Then,based on the mechanical parameters of the seat and cab system for a truck,the transmissibility characteristics of the two models were analyzed.The results show that the traditional model can relatively accurately predict the pitch and roll vibration characteristics of the real seat–cab system.However,it overvalues the vertical vibration transmitted from the front suspensions of the cab.Third,the typical excitation conditions and the measuring points were selected.Finally,under the typical excitation conditions,the dynamic responses of the measuring points were calculated.The results show that under the vertical excitation condition,the dynamic responses of the two models have obvious differences.Under the roll excitation condition and the pitch excitation condition,the roll responses and the pitch responses of the cab between the two models show almost no obvious difference.Under the random excitation condition,the vertical acceleration responses have relatively larger deviations between the two models,however,the angular acceleration responses are almost the same.For the preliminary design of the cab system,the traditional cab system model can be used.However,for the accurate design and the optimization of the seat–cab system,the seat–cab coupled model is recommended. | Leilei Zhao Yuewei Yu Changcheng Zhou Simon Feng | 2019 | International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2019,10,3: | 0 |
| 20 | Analytical modeling and simulation on lateral mechanical characteristics of high-speed train traction motor hanging leaf spring显示文摘In this paper,using the theoretical analysis method,according to the actual structure of the hanging leaf spring of the traction motor mounted on the frame,the lateral force model of the hanging leaf spring of the traction motor was established.Then,through theoretical deduction,the deformation analytical calculation formula and the stress analytical calculation formula of the hanging leaf spring were established.The correctness of the leaf spring’s lateral force model was established and its deformation and stress analytical formulae were verified using ANSYS finite element analysis software.Based on this,according to the deformation analytical formula and the stress analytical formula of the leaf spring established,the influence of the main structural parameters on the mechanical characteristics of the leaf spring was discussed,and the reliability of the analytical analysis method of the lateral mechanical characteristics of the traction motor hanging leaf spring was verified by the loading–unloading test.The results show that the deformation and the load of the leaf spring change linearly.The changes of leaf spring’s stress at different positions can be considered as being composed of three sections:a linear change section in the root,a nonlinear change section in the middle,and a nonlinear change section in the end.In the structural parameters,the end thickness h2 has the greatest influence on the stiffness and the stress of the leaf spring,and the maximum thickness of the leaf spring eye h1 has the least influence on the stiffness and the stress of the leaf spring.The influence degree of other parameters on the stiffness of the leaf spring is h_(3),L_(1),L_(3),L_(2) in order,and the influence degree on the stress of the leaf spring is h_(3),L_(1),L_(2),L_(3) in order.In addition,when the root thickness h_(3) is greater than a certain value,the maximum stress point of the leaf spring appears at the end position L_(2).This study can provide a useful reference for the intelligent forward design and the rapid analysis of the mechanical characteristics of high-speed train traction motor hanging leaf spring. | Yuewei Yu Leilei Zhao Changcheng Zhou | 2019 | International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2019,10,3: | 0 |
