| 1 | A Novel Hierarchical Porous 3D Structured Vanadium Nitride/Carbon Membranes for High-performance Supercapacitor Negative Electrodes显示文摘Transition-metal nitrides exhibit wide potential windows and good electrochemical performance, but usually experience imbalanced practical applications in the energy storage field due to aggregation, poor circulation stability, and complicated syntheses. In this study, a novel and simple multiphase polymeric strategy was developed to fabricate hybrid vanadium nitride/carbon(VN/C) membranes for supercapacitor negative electrodes, in which VN nanoparticles were uniformly distributed in the hierarchical porous carbon 3D networks. The supercapacitor negative electrode based on VN/C membranes exhibited a high specific capacitance of 392.0 F g^(-1) at 0.5 A g^(-1) and an excellent rate capability with capacitance retention of 50.5% at 30 A g^(-1). For the asymmetric device fabricated using Ni(OH)_2//VN/C membranes, a high energy density of 43.0 Wh kg^(-1) at a power density of800 W kg^(-1) was observed. Moreover, the device also showed good cycling stability of 82.9% at a current density of 1.0 A g^(-1) after 8000 cycles. | 3 | Tongluo Digui decoction(通络地龟汤)treats renal injury in diabetic rats by promoting autophagy of podocytes显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of Tongluo Digui decoction on renal injury and streptozotocin-induced podocyte autophagy in diabetic rats.METHODS:Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into six groups:normal,model,Tongluo Digui decoction(high,medium,and low dose)and valsartan.Streptozotocin was injected intraperitoneally to replicate the diabetic animal model.After 8 weeks,proteinuria was evaluated to establish the diabetic nephropathy model.Treatments were administered daily via the intragastric route.At 16 weeks after gavage,we determined 24 h urine protein concentration,and blood glucose,serum creatinine,and urea nitrogen concentrations.Then,rats were sacrificed,and kidneys were harvested and stained with periodic acid-Schiff to evaluate the pathological changes in glomeruli,including glomerular podocytes by transmission electron microscopy.Western blot analysis was used to determine the expression of nephrin,podocin,p62,beclin-1,LC3Ⅱ/Ⅰ,and p-m TOR/m TOR protein in kidney tissues.RESULTS:Compared with the model group,Tongluo Digui decoction was associated with decreases in 24 h urine protein concentration,and blood glucose,hemoglobin A1 c,serum creatinine,urea nitrogen concentrations,total serum protein and albumin.Concurrently,mesangial mesenteric broadening and fusion of foot processes were reduced,the glomerular basement membrane was not significantly thickened,and the number of podocytes and the number of autophagosomes in the podocytes was increased.Further,expression of nephrin,podocin,LC3Ⅱ,and beclin-1 protein in kidney tissue was up-regulated,while expression of p62 protein was down-regulated and m TOR phosphorylation was inhibited.CONCLUSION:Tongluo Digui decoction may inhibit the progression of diabetic nephropathy by inhibiting m TOR phosphorylation,thereby increasing autophagy to protect podocytes and reducing proteinuria. | HAN Jiarui ZHANG Yage SHI Xiujie PENG Zining XING Yufeng PANG Xinxin | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,1: | 9 |
| 4 | Near-resonance enhanced label-free stimulated Raman scattering microscopy with spatial resolution near 130 nm显示文摘High-resolution optical microscopes that can break 180 nm in spatial resolution set to conventional microscopies are much-needed tools.However,current optical microscopes have to rely on exogenous fluorescent labels to achieve high resolution in biological imaging.Herein,we report near-resonance enhanced label-free stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)microscopy with a lateral resolution near 130 nm,in which the high-resolution image contrast originates directly from a low concentration of endogenous biomolecules,with sensitivity gains of approximately 23 times.Moreover,by using a 0.3-m-long optical fiber,we developed hyperspectral SRS microscopy based on spectral focusing technology.Attributed to enhancements in spatial resolution and sensitivity,we demonstrated highresolution imaging of three-dimensional structures in single cells and high-resolution mapping of large-scale intact mouse brain tissues in situ.By using enhanced high-resolution hyperspectral SRS,we chemically observed sphingomyelin distributed in the myelin sheath that insulates single axons.Our concept opens the door to biomedical imaging with~130 nm resolution. | Yali Bi Chi Yang Yage Chen Shuai Yan Guang Yang Yaozu Wu Guoping Zhang Ping Wang | 2018 | Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1: | 4 |
| 5 | Effects of three coniferous plantation species on plant-soil feedbacks and soil physical and chemical properties in semiarid mountain ecosystems显示文摘Background:Large-scale afforestation can significantly change the ground cover and soil physicochemical properties,especially the soil fertility maintenance and water conservation functions of artificial forests,which are very important in semi-arid mountain ecosystems.However,how different tree species affect soil nutrients and soil physicochemical properties after afforestation,and which is the best plantation species for improving soil fertility and water conservation functions remain largely unknown.Methods:This study investigated the soil nutrient contents of three different plantations(Larix principis-rupprechtii,Picea crassifolia,Pinus tabuliformis),soils and plant-soil feedbacks,as well as the interactions between soil physicochemical properties.Results:The results revealed that the leaves and litter layers strongly influenced soil nutrient availability through biogeochemical processes:P.tabuliformis had higher organic carbon,ratio of organic carbon to total nitrogen(C:N)and organic carbon to total phosphorus(C:P)in the leaves and litter layers than L.principis-rupprechtii or P.crassifolia,suggesting that higher C:N and C:P hindered litter decomposition.As a result,the L.principis-rupprechtii and P.crassifolia plantation forests significantly improved soil nutrients and clay components,compared with the P.tabuliformis plantation forest.Furthermore,the L.principis-rupprechtii and P.crassifolia plantation forests significantly improved the soil capacity,soil total porosity,and capillary porosity,decreased soil bulk density,and enhanced water storage capacity,compared with the P.tabuliformis plantation forest.The results of this study showed that,the strong link between plants and soil was tightly coupled to C:N and C:P,and there was a close correlation between soil particle size distribution and soil physicochemical properties.Conclusions:Therefore,our results recommend planting the L.principis-rupprechtii and P.crassifolia as the preferred tree species to enhance the soil fertility and water conservation functions,especially in semi-arid regions mountain forest ecosystems. | Chun Han Yongjing Liu Cankun Zhang Yage Li Tairan Zhou Salman Khan Ning Chen Changming Zhao | 2021 | Forest Ecosystems2021,8,1: | 3 |
| 6 | Experimental Constraints on Formation of Low-Cr# Chromitite: Effect of Variable H2O and Cr2O3 on Boninitic-Magma and Harzburgite Reactions显示文摘Reactions between a boninitic or basaltic magma and harzburgite at shallow mantle depths are thought to be closely related to the formation of podiform chromitites,but little experimental data is available on these reactions.In this study,a series of experiments were conducted at 1.5GPa and 1 000–1 400 oC to investigate the interactions between boninitic magma and harzburgite in homogenous mixed systems with varied bulk concentrations of water(~0.7 wt.%–10 wt.%)and Cr2O3(~0.2 wt.%–4 wt.%).In the experimental charges,chromite grains can be observed coexisting with orthopyroxene,clinopyroxene±olivine,and quenched melt in the Cr-bearing systems.The bulk concentration of Cr2O3 in the starting material has a slight effect on compositional changes in the chromites generated.However,the Cr#(Cr#=100×Cr/(Cr+Al))and Mg#(Mg#=100×Mg/(Mg+Fe))values for the chromites exhibit positive and negative correlations,respectively,with the bulk H2O concentrations.At 1 100 oC,chromite Cr#values range from^33–35 to^58–65,and chromite Mg#values range from^70–73 to^55–58when bulk H2O contents in the starting material are increased from^0.7 wt.%to^10 wt.%.The experimentally produced chromites have compositions(as expressed by Cr#,Mg#,and Ni O and Mn O contents)similar to natural chromites from low-Cr#chromitite bodies.We suggest that the interactions between boninitic magmas with varied H2O contents and harzburgite in a shallow mantle wedge could be a possible mechanism that forms the low-Cr#chromitites found in ophiolites.We emphasize here that H2O may play an important role in the compositional evolutions of natural chromitites. | Yage Zhao Yanfei Zhang Chao Wang Zhenmin Jin Qijin Xu | 2020 | Journal of Earth Science2020,31,4: | 3 |
| 7 | Slip rate of the seismogenic fault of the 2021 Maduo earthquake in western China inferred from GPS observations显示文摘Seismic and field observations indicate that the Mw7.4 Maduo earthquake ruptured the Jiangcuo fault,which is a secondary fault~85 km south of the northern boundary of the Bayan Hor block in western China.The kinematic characteristics of the Jiangcuo fault can shed lights on the seismogenic mechanism of this earthquake.Slip rate is one of the key parameters to describe the kinematic features of a fault,which can also provide quantitative evidences for regional seismic hazard assessments.However,due to lack of effective observations,the slip rate of the Jiangcuo fault has not been studied quantitatively.In this study,we consider the interaction between the Jiangcuo fault and the eastern Kunlun fault,and estimate the slip rates of the two faults using the interseismic GPS observations across the seismogenic region.The inferred results show that the slip rates of the Jiangcuo fault and the Tuosuo Lake segment of the Kunlun fault are 1.2±0.8 and 5.4±0.3 mm a^(-1),respectively.Combining the slip rate with the average slip inferred from the coseismic slip model,the earthquake recurrence interval of the Jiangcuo fault is estimated to be 1800700+3700 years(1100–5500 years).Based on the results derived from previous studies,as well as calculations in this study,we infer that the slip rate of the Kunlun fault may decrease gradually from the Tuosuo Lake segment to the eastern tip.The Jiangcuo fault and its adjacent parallel secondary faults may have absorbed the relative motion of blocks together with the Kunlun fault. | Yage ZHU Faqi DIAO Yuchao FU Chengli LIU Xiong XIONG | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,8: | 3 |

| 9 | Flame instability analysis of diethyl ether-air premixed mixtures at elevated pressures显示文摘Combustion characteristics of premixed diethyl ether-air mixtures were studied at different equivalence ratios and elevated initial pressures using schlieren photography and spherically propagating flame. Laminar burning velocities, Markstein number and critical radii at onset of cellular structure were obtained. The results show that an increase in initial pressure leads to a decrease in the unstretched laminar burning velocities. Laminar burning velocities give their peak values at the equivalence ratio of 1.1. Markstein number decrease with the increase of initial pressure and equivalence ratio, indicating that the instability of flame front is increased with the increase of initial pressure and equivalence ratio.
