1Downstaging and resection of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients with extrahepatic metastases after stereotactic therapy显示文摘Background:A combination of tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs)and anti-PD-1 antibodies with local regional therapy has elicited yield substantial clinical benefits in patients who have hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with extrahepatic metastases.Using this treatment strategy to convert HCC patients with extrahepatic metastases from unresectable to resectable has not yet been reported.Methods:Consecutive hepatocellular carcinoma patients with extrahepatic metastases who received first-line therapy with a combination of TKIs and anti-PD-1 antibodies and at least one local regional therapy were analysed.Results:Nine patients with localized disease who received first-line systemic therapy were enrolled.At baseline,all of them had oligometastatic disease,namely,Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C(or Chinese Liver Cancer stage IIIB).The most common treatment administered was lenvatinib plus anti-PD-1 antibody and transarterial chemoembolization,and the median time span from systemic therapy to surgery was 3.2(IQR,2.8-6.2)months.Three patients achieved a pathological complete response.Six patients underwent laparoscopic surgery,and the other 3 patients underwent open surgery.After a median follow-up of 10.2(IQR,8.6-20.0)months,7 patients survived without disease recurrence,and 2 experienced tumour recurrence.All patients had any-grade AEs,and 55.6%of the patients experienced grade 3 AEs.Fatigue was the most common AE,followed by elevated aminotransferase levels and hypertension.Conclusions:Stereotactic therapy is a feasible conversion therapy for HCC patients with extrahepatic metastases to become resectable.This is the first study to analyse therapeutic outcomes of patients receiving these therapies for HCC with extrahepatic metastases.Xiaobo Yang Haifeng Xu Bangyou Zuo Xu Yang Jin Bian Junyu Long Dongxu Wang Junwei Zhang Cong Ning Yanyu Wang Ziyu Xun Yunchao Wang Xin Lu Yilei Mao Xinting Sang Haitao Zhao 2021Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,4:17
2One-Pot Synthesis and Strong Near-Infrared Upconversion Luminescence of Poly(acrylic acid)-Functionalized YF3:Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+) Nanocrystals显示文摘This paper describes the synthesis of new upconverting luminescent nanoparticles that consist of YF_(3):Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+)functionalized with poly(acrylic acid)(PAA).Unlike the upconverting nanocrystals previously reported in the literature that emit visible(blue-green-red)upconversion fluorescence,these as-prepared nanoparticles emit strong near-infrared(NIR,831 nm)upconversion luminescence under 980 nm excitation.Scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and powder X-ray diffraction were used to characterize the size and composition of the luminescent nanocrystals.Their average diameter was about 50 nm.The presence of the PAA coating was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy.The particles are highly dispersible in aqueous solution due to the presence of carboxylate groups in the PAA coating.By carrying out the synthesis in the absence of PAA,YF_(3):Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+)nanorice materials were obtained.These nanorice particles are larger(~700 nm in length)than the PAA-functionalized nanoparticles and show strong typical visible red(668 nm),rather than NIR(831 nm),upconversion fluorescence.The new PAA-coated luminescent nanoparticles have the pottential be used in a variety of bioanalytical and medical assays involving luminescence detection and fluorescence imaging,especially in vivo fluorescence imaging,due to the deep penetration of NIR radiation.Leyu Wang Yi Zhang Yanyu Zhu 2010Nano Research2010,3,5:13
3Proteomic analysis of human epithelial ovarian cancer xenografts in immunodeficient mice exposed to chronic psychological stress显示文摘This work aims at comparing alterations in the proteomes of human epithelial ovarian cancer xenografts between stressed and non-stressed immunodeficient mice as well as exploring the molecular mechanisms linking chronic psychological stress to ovarian cancer oncogenesis and progression.SK-OV-3 cells were injected subcutaneously into nude mice.The stress group was subjected to a chronic physical restraint protocol for 6 h on 35 consecutive days,while the control group was unrestrained.All mice were sacrificed on day 36 after SK-OV-3 cell injection,and tumors were excised.Tumor tissues were processed for 2D gel electrophoresis,mass spectrometry(nanoUPLC-ESI-MS/MS) and Western blotting.The expression of 20 proteins was found to be significantly altered between the stress and control groups,of which 14 were up-regulated,five were down-regulated,and one protein was found only in the stress group.All proteins were identified by UPLC-ESI-MS/MS,and Western blotting results were consistent with those of proteomic methods.The present results provide new evidence relating to the molecular mechanism underlying the relationship between psychological stress and tumor progression.GAO Jun GAO GuoLan ZHANG YanYu WANG Fen 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,2:11
4Brazing of C/C composite and Ti-6Al-4V with graphene strengthened AgCuTi filler:Effects of graphene on wettability,microstructure and mechanical properties显示文摘Graphene nanosheets(GNSs) strengthened AgCuTi composite filler(AgCuTi_G) was used to braze C/C composite and Ti-6Al-4V. The effects of GNSs on the wettability of AgCuTi_G filler on the C/C composite surface and the interfacial microstructure and mechanical properties of brazed joints were investigated. The results indicate that the addition of GNSs reduced the wettability of AgCuTi_G. The interfacial microstructure of brazed joints evolved with the addition of GNSs, where Ti_3Cu_4 and TiCu_4 were converted to TiCu and the thickness of the reaction layer adjacent to the base material decreased. The maximum shear strength of joints brazed at 0.3 wt% GNSs was 23.3 MPa(880℃/10 min). Further adding GNSs deteriorated the shear strength of the joints. 5Vacuum brazing of GH99 superalloy using graphene reinforced BNi-2 composite filler显示文摘A novel graphene reinforced BNi-2 composite filler was developed for brazing GH99 superalloy. The interfacial microstructure of brazed joints was analyzed by field emission scanning electron microscope and a transmission electron microscope. The effects of graphene addition on the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of brazed joints were investigated, and the strengthening mechanism of graphene was analyzed. The results revealed that due to the addition of graphene, M23(C,B)6 compounds were synthesized in the solid solution and brittle boride precipitates near the brazing seam decreased.Graphene was effective in retarding solute atoms diffusion thus impeding the precipitation of borides.Furthermore, the low coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE) of graphene was conducive to relieve stress concentration of the brazed joints during the cooling process. The shear strengths of brazed joints were significantly improved by exerting the strengthening effect of graphene. 6Temperature variation and abrupt change analysis in the Three-River Headwaters Region during 1961-2010显示文摘In this study, a monthly dataset of temperature time series (1961-2010) from 12 meteorological stations across the Three-River Headwater Region of Qinghai Province (THRHR) was used to analyze the climate change. The temperature variation and abrupt change analysis were examined by using moving average, linear regression, Spline interpo-lation, Mann-Kendall test and so on. Some important conclusions were obtained from this research, which mainly contained four aspects as follows. (1) There were several cold and warm fluctuations for the annual and seasonal average temperature in the THRHR and its three sub-headwater regions, but the temperature in these regions all had an obviously rising trend at the statistical significance level, especially after 2001. The spring, summer, autumn and annual average temperature increased evidently after the 1990s, and the winter average temperature exhibited an obvious upward trend after entering the 21st century. Except the standard value of spring temperature, the annual and seasonal temperature standard value in the THRHR and its three sub-headwater regions increased gradually, and the upward trend for the standard value of winter average temperature indicated significantly. (2) The tendency rate of annual average temperature in the THRHR was 0.36℃10a?1, while the tendency rates in the Yellow River Headwater Region (YERHR), Lancangjiang River Headwater Region (LARHR) and Yangtze River Headwater Region (YARHR) were 0.37℃10a?1, 0.37℃10a?1 and 0.34℃10a?1 respectively. The temperature increased significantly in the south of Yushu County and the north of Nangqian County. The rising trends of temperature in winter and autumn were higher than the upward trends in spring and summer. (3) The abrupt changes of annual, summer, autumn and winter average temperature were found in the THRHR, LARHR and YARHR, and were detected for the summer and autumn average temperature in the YERHR. The abrupt changes of annual and summer average temperatures were mainly in the late 1990s, while the abrupt changes of autumn and winter average temperatures ap-peared primarily in the early 1990s and the early 21st century respectively. 7Animal models of stroke显示文摘Stroke is a devastating disease with high morbidity and mortality.Animal models are indispensable tools that can mimic stroke processes and can be used for investigating mechanisms and developing novel therapeutic regimens.As a heterogeneous disease with complex pathophysiology,mimicking all aspects of human stroke in one animal model is impossible.Each model has unique strengths and weaknesses.Models such as transient or permanent intraluminal thread occlusion middle cerebral artery oc-clusion(MCAo)models and thromboembolic models are the most commonly used in simulating human ischemic stroke.The endovascular filament occlusion model is characterized by easy manipulation and accurately controllable reperfusion and is suitable for studying the pathogenesis of focal ischemic stroke and reperfusion in-jury.Although the reproducibility of the embolic model is poor,it is more conveni-ent for investigating thrombolysis.Rats are the most frequently used animal model for stroke.This review mainly outlines the stroke models of rats and discusses their strengths and shortcomings in detail.Yanyu Li Jingjing Zhang 2021Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2021,4,3:9
8Interannual variability in soil respiration from terrestrial ecosystems in China and its response to climate change显示文摘Soil respiration is an important process in terrestrial carbon cycle.Concerning terrestrial ecosystems in China, quantifying the spatiotemporal pattern of soil respiration at the regional scale is critical in providing a theoretical basis for evaluating carbon budget.In this study, we used an empirically based, semi-mechanistic model including climate and soil properties to estimate annual soil respiration from terrestrial ecosystems in China from 1970 to 2009.We further analyzed the relationship between interannual variability in soil respiration and climatic factors (air temperature and precipitation).Results indicated that the distribution of annual soil respiration showed clear spatial patterns.The highest and lowest annual soil respiration rates appeared in southeastern China and northwestern China, respectively, which was in accordance with the spatial patterns of mean annual air temperature and annual precipitation.Although the mean annual air temperature in northwestern China was higher than that in some regions of northeastern china, a greater topsoil organic carbon storage in northeastern China might result in the higher annual soil respiration in this region.By contrast, lower temperature, less precipitation and smaller topsoil organic carbon pool incurred the lowest annual soil respiration in northwestern China.Annual soil respiration from terrestrial ecosystems in China varied from 4.58 to 5.19 PgCa-1 between 1970 and 2009.During this time period, on average, annual soil respiration was estimated to be 4.83 PgCa-1 .Annual soil respiration in China accounted for 4.93%-6.01% of the global annual soil CO2 emission.The interannual variability in soil respiration depended on the interannual variability in precipitation and mean air temperature.In order to reduce the uncertainty in estimating annual soil respiration at regional scale, more in situ measurements of soil respiration and relevant factors (e.g.climate, soil and vegetation) should be made simultaneously and historical soil property data sets should also be established.CHEN ShuTao HUANG Yao ZOU JianWen SHI YanShu LU YanYu ZHANG Wen HU ZhengHua 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,12:8
9Clinical characteristics and survival of 5283 esophageal cancer patients: A multicenter study from eighteen hospitals across six regions in China显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to investigate the potential determining epidemiological and clinical risk factors affecting the survival of esophageal cancer(EC)patients across multiple hospitals in China.Methods:This was a multicenter study comprising of newly diagnosed EC cases from Beijing,Hebei,Henan,Hubei,Zhejiang,and Guangdong Province of China.Their baseline characteristics and treatment methods data were collected from their medical records.The EpiData software was used for data quality control.The Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate their overall survival(OS),and the Cox’s proportional hazard regression model was used to estimate hazard ratios(HR)and 95%confidence interval(CI).Results:The 3-and 5-year OS rates of the 5283 investigated EC patients were 49.98%and 39.07%,respectively.Their median survival was 36.00 months.The median survival time of females was longer than that of males(females vs.males:45.00 vs.33.00,P<0.001).The 5-year OS rate of patients who never-smoked was higher than that of smokers(never-smokers vs smokers:40.73%vs.37.84%,P=0.001).There was no significant difference in the 5-year OS rate between drinkers and never-drinkers(drinkers vs never-drinkers:34.22%vs.29.65%,P=0.330).In multivariate analysis,pathological stage(stage II:HR=1.80,95%CI=1.40-2.31;stage III:HR=2.62,95%CI=2.06-3.34;stage IV:HR=3.90,95%CI=2.98-5.09),poor differentiation/undifferentiated(HR=1.34,95%CI=1.11-1.63),not married status(HR=2.45,95%CI=1.49-4.04),production and service personnel(HR=1.36,95%CI=1.01-1.83)and farming/fishing(HR=1.40,95%CI=1.12-1.76)were independent prognostic risk factors for poor EC survival.Tumors in the thoracic or abdominal part of the esophagus,female and family history of any cancer were independent factors predictive of a good EC OS.Conclusion:Gender,marital status,occupation,family history of any cancer,tumor topographical site,differentiation status,and pathological stage were associated with the survival rate of EC.This study reveals important clinical characteristics of esophageal cancer patients in China and provides helpful information for their clinical management and surveillance.Yutong He Di Liang Lingbin Du Tiantian Guo Yanyu Liu Xibin Sun Ning Wang Min Zhang Kuangrong Wei Baoen Shan Wanqing Chen 2020Cancer Communications2020,40,10:8

11Pedotransfer Functions for Estimating Soil Bulk Density:A Case Study in the Three-River Headwater Region of Qinghai Province,China显示文摘Bulk density(BD) is an important soil physical property and has significant effect on soil water conservation function. Indirect methods, which are called pedotransfer functions(PTFs), have replaced direct measurement and can acquire the missing data of BD during routine soil surveys. In this study, multiple linear regression(MLR) and artificial neuron network(ANN) methods were used to develop PTFs for predicting BD from soil organic carbon(OC), texture and depth in the Three-River Headwater region of Qinghai Province, China. The performances of the developed PTFs were compared with 14 published PTFs using four indexes, the mean error(ME), standard deviation error(SDE), root mean squared error(RMSE) and coefficient of determination(R^2). Results showed that the performances of published PTFs developed using exponential regression were better than those developed using linear regression from OC. Alexander(1980)-B, Alexander(1980)-A and Manrique and Jones(1991)-B PTFs, which had good predictions, could be applied for the soils in the study area. The PTFs developed using MLR(MLR-PTFs) and ANN(ANN-PTFs) had better soil BD predictions than most of published PTFs. The ANN-PTFs had better performances than the MLR-PTFs and their performances could be improved when soil texture and depth were added as predictor variables. 13Light absorption properties and potential sources of brown carbon in Fenwei Plain during winter 2018–2019显示文摘A distinctive kind of organic carbon aerosol that could absorb ultraviolet-visible radiation is called brown carbon(Br C),which has an important positive influence on radiative budget and climate change.In this work,we reported the absorption properties and potential source of Br C based on a seven-wavelength aethalometer in the winter of 2018–2019 at an urban site of Sanmenxia in Fenwei Plain in central China.Specifically,the mean value of Br C absorption coefficient was 59.6±36.0 Mm^(-1) at 370 nm and contributed 37.7%to total absorption,which made a significant impact on visibility and regional environment.Absorption coefficients of Br C showed double-peak pattern,and Br C had shown small fluctuations under haze days compared with clean days.As for the sources of Br C,Br C absorption coefficients expressed strong correlations with element carbon aerosols and primary organic carbon aerosols,indicating that most of Br C originated from primary emissions.The linear correlations between trace metal elements(K,As,Fe,Mn,Zn,and Pb)and Br C absorption coefficients further referred that the major sources of Br C were primary emissions,like coal burning,biomass burning,and vehicle emissions.The moderate relationship between Br C absorption coefficients and secondary organic aerosols suggested that secondary production of Br C also played an important role.The 120 hr backward air mass trajectories analysis and concentration-weighted trajectories analysis were also used to investigate potential sources of Br C in and around this area,which inferred most parts of Br C were derived from local emissions.Wenyu Zhang Weigang Wang Jie Li Shuangliang Ma Chaofan Lian Kun Li Bo Shi Mingyuan Liu Yanyu Li QingQing Wang Yele Sun Shengrui Tong Maofa Ge 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4:6
14Anti-P-selectin lectin-EGF domain monoclonal antibody inhibits the maturation of human immature dendritic cells显示文摘Dendritic cells(DCs) are professinal antigen-presenting cells with the ability to initiate primary Tcell responses. While it iswell known that inflammatory stimuli induce the functional maturation of immature DCs, whether adhesion molecule selectins regulate DCmaturation is poorly understood. Using anti-P-selectin lectin-EGF domain monoclonal antibody (PsL-EGFmAb) that blocks the adhesionof P-, E-, and L-selectin, we demonstrate herein that selectins play important role in stimulating functional maturation of immature DCs.Immature DCs are generated from human cord blood CD34+hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells that were cultured in the presence of stemcell factor, Fms-like tyrosine-kinase-3 ligand, granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor, and transform growth factor-β1. Whenstimulated with tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α), immature DCs differentiated into mature DCs, producing increased levels of costim-ulatory molecules and interleukin (IL)-12 and obtaining the ability to potently activate naive Tcells. Interestingly, in contrast to matureDCs derived from TNF-α-induced immature DC cultures without PsL-EGFmAb, immature DCs treated with PsL-EGFmAb for7 days werecompletely blocked their maturation, as evidenced by decreased expression of costimulatory molecules CD80, CD86, and CD83, inhibi-ted production of IL-12, and inability to activate naive Tcellsin vitro. 15A Phytophthora capsid Effector Targets ACD11 Binding Partners that Regulate ROS-Mediated Defense Response in Arabidopsis显示文摘Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play a vital role in plant immune response, but the genes involved in the regulation of ROS are scantily reported. Phytophthora pathogens produce a large number of effectors to promote infection, but the modes of action adopted are largely unknown. Here, we report that RxLR207 could activate ROS-mediated cell death in Nicotiana benthamiana and was essential for virulence of P. capsici. We found that this effector targeted BPA1 (binding partner of ACD11) and four members of BPLs (BPAl-Like proteins)in Arabidopsis, and the bpa1 and bpl mutants had enhanced ROS accumulation and cell death under biotic or abiotic stresses. Furthermore, we showed that BPA1 and several BPLs functioned redundantly in plant immunity to P. capsici. We discovered that BPA1 and all six BPLs interacted with ACD11, and stabilization of ACD11 was impaired in the bpa 1, bpl2, bpl3, and bpl4 mutants. RxLR207 could promote the degradation of BPA1, BPL1, BPL2, and BPL4 to disrupt ACD11 stabilization in a 26S proteasome-dependent manner. 16A theoretical framework for quantum image representation and data loading scheme显示文摘Two fundamental problems exist in the use of quantum computation to process an image or signal.The first one is how to represent giant data,such as image data,using quantum state without losing information.The second one is how to load a colossal volume of data into the quantum registers of a quantum CPU from classical electronic memory.Researches on these two questions are rarely reported.Here an entangled state is used to represent an image(or vector)for which two entangled registers are used to store a vector component and its classical address.Using the representation,n1+n2+8 qubits are used to store the whole information of the gray image that has a 2n1×2n2 size at a superposition of states,a feat is not possible with a classic computer.The way of designing a unitary operation to load data,such as a vector(or image),into the quantum registers of a quantum CPU from electronic memory is defined herein as a quantum loading scheme(QLS).In this paper,the QLS with time complexity O(log2N)is presented where N denotes the number of vector components,a solution that would break through the efciency bottleneck of loading data.QLS would enable a quantum CPU to be compatible with electronic memory and make possible quantum image compression and quantum signal processing that has classical input and output.HU BenQiong HUANG XuDong ZHOU RiGui WEI YanYu WAN Qun PANG ChaoYang 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,3:5
17The Influences of Macro- and Microphysical Characteristics of Sea-Fog on Fog-Water Chemical Composition显示文摘During a sea-fog field observation campaign on Donghai Island in the spring of 2011, fog-water, visibility, meteorological elements, and fog droplet spectra were measured. The main cations and anions in 191 fog-water samples were Na+, NH+4,H+, NO-3, Cl-and SO2-4, and the average concentrations of cations and anions were 2630 and 2970 μeq L-1, respectively.The concentrations of Na+and Cl-originated from the ocean were high. The enhancement of anthropogenic pollution might have contributed to the high concentration of NH+4, H+, and NO-3. The average values of pH and electrical conductivity(EC)were 3.34 and 505 μS cm-1, respectively, with a negative correlation between them. Cold fronts associated with cyclonic circulations promoted the decline of ion loadings. Air masses from coastal areas had the highest ion loadings, contrary to those from the sea. The ranges of wind speed, wind direction and temperature corresponding to the maximum total ion concentration(TIC) were 3.5–4 m s-1, 79℃–90℃and 21℃C–22℃C, respectively. In view of the low correlation coefficients, a new parameter Lr was proposed as a predictive parameter for TIC and the correlation coefficient increased to 0.74. Based on aerosol concentrations during the sea-fog cases in 2010, we confirmed that fog-water chemical composition also depended on the species and sizes of aerosol particles. When a dust storm passed through Donghai Island, the number concentration of large aerosol particles(with diameter > 1 μm) increased. 18Effect of water and fertilizer coupling optimization test on water use efficiency of rice in black soil regions显示文摘How to improve the water use efficiency of rice in black soil regions was studied. The black soil region in paddy fields was chosen as the research object. The research showed the fertilizer coupling mathematical model with N,P,K,irrigation water( W) and water use efficiency( WUE),which was set up under the condition of controlled irrigation with quadratic D- 416 optimized saturation design. The results show that the decending order of single factor' s influence on the WUE was N,K,P and W. All the interactions between N&P,N&K,N&W,K&P,P&W and K&W on the WUE were raised initially,and when reached a certain value,they began to decline. The decending order of each interaction on the WUE was K&P,K&W,N&K,N&P,P&W and N&W. When the WUE was targeted within 1. 8- 2. 5 kg / km^3,an optimized proportion plan was obtained in the 95% confidence interval,i. e. 19On the Influences of Urbanization on the Extreme Rainfall over Zhengzhou on 20 July 2021: A Convection-Permitting Ensemble Modeling Study显示文摘This study investigates the influences of urban land cover on the extreme rainfall event over the Zhengzhou city in central China on 20 July 2021 using the Weather Research and Forecasting model at a convection-permitting scale[1-km resolution in the innermost domain(d3)].Two ensembles of simulation(CTRL,NURB),each consisting of 11 members with a multi-layer urban canopy model and various combinations of physics schemes,were conducted using different land cover scenarios:(i)the real urban land cover,(ii)all cities in d3 being replaced with natural land cover.The results suggest that CTRL reasonably reproduces the spatiotemporal evolution of rainstorms and the 24-h rainfall accumulation over the key region,although the maximum hourly rainfall is underestimated and displaced to the west or southwest by most members.The ensemble mean 24-h rainfall accumulation over the key region of heavy rainfall is reduced by 13%,and the maximum hourly rainfall simulated by each member is reduced by 15–70 mm in CTRL relative to NURB.The reduction in the simulated rainfall by urbanization is closely associated with numerous cities/towns to the south,southeast,and east of Zhengzhou.Their heating effects jointly lead to formation of anomalous upward motions in and above the planetary boundary layer(PBL),which exaggerates the PBL drying effect due to reduced evapotranspiration and also enhances the wind stilling effect due to increased surface friction in urban areas.As a result,the lateral inflows of moisture and high-θe(equivalent potential temperature)air from south and east to Zhengzhou are reduced.Yali LUO Jiahua ZHANG Miao YU Xudong LIANG Rudi XIA Yanyu GAO Xiaoyu GAO Jinfang YIN 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,3:4
20Anti-scattering light focusing by fast wavefront shaping based on multi-pixel encoded digital-micromirror device显示文摘Speed and enhancement are the two most important metrics for anti-scattering light focusing by wavefront shaping(WS),which requires a spatial light modulator with a large number of modulation modes and a fast speed of response.Among the commercial modulators,the digital-micromirror device(DMD)is the sole solution providing millions of modulation modes and a pattern rate higher than 20 kHz.Thus,it has the potential to accelerate the process of anti-scattering light focusing with a high enhancement.Nevertheless,modulating light in a binary mode by the DMD restricts both the speed and enhancement seriously.Here,we propose a multi-pixel encoded DMD-based WS method by combining multiple micromirrors into a single modulation unit to overcome the drawbacks of binary modulation.In addition,to efficiently optimize the wavefront,we adopted separable natural evolution strategies(SNES),which could carry out a global search against a noisy environment.Compared with the state-of-the-art DMD-based WS method,the proposed method increased the speed of optimization and enhancement of focus by a factor of 179 and 16,respectively.In our demonstration,we achieved 10 foci with homogeneous brightness at a high speed and formed W-and S-shape patterns against the scattering medium.The experimental results suggest that the proposed method will pave a new avenue for WS in the applications of biomedical imaging,photon therapy,optogenetics,dynamic holographic display,etc.Jiamiao Yang Qiaozhi He Linxian Liu Yuan Qu Rongjun Shao Bowen Song Yanyu Zhao 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,8:4
