1Sequencing of Cultivated Peanut, Arachis hypogaea, Yields Insights into Genome Evolution and Oil Improvement显示文摘Cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea) is an allotetraploid crop planted in Asia, Africa, and America for edible oil and protein. To explore the origins and consequences of tetraploidy, we sequenced the allotetraploid A. hypogaea genome and compared it with the related diploid Arachis duranensis and Arachis ipaensis genomes. We annotated 39 888 A-subgenome genes and 41 526 B-subgenome genes in allotetraploid peanut. The A. hypogaea subgenomes have evolved asymmetrically, with the B subgenome resembling the ancestral state and the A subgenome undergoing more gene disruption, loss, conversion, and transposable element proliferation, and having reduced gene expression during seed development despite lacking genome-wide expression dominance. Genomic and transcriptomic analyses identified more than 2 500 oil metabolism-related genes and revealed that most of them show altered expression early in seed development while their expression ceases during desiccation, presenting a comprehensive map of peanut lipid biosynthesis. 2Dietary supplementation with Clostridium butyricum improves growth performance of broilers by regulating intestinal microbiota and mucosal epithelial cells显示文摘Clostridium butyricum has been widely considered an antibiotic substitute in recent years.It can promote growth performance,improve the immune response and enhance the intestinal barrier function of the host.In the present study,1-d-old Arbor Acres(AA)broilers were fed C.butyricum(1×109 cfu/kg)for 28 d.The transcriptomic characteristics of epithelial cells of the cecal mucosa were determined by RNA-sequence,and the cecal microbiota composition was explored by 16 S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing.The changes in the intestinal mucosa of broilers were then analyzed by tissue staining.Gene Ontology(GO)annotations identified substance transport and processes and pathways that might participate in intestinal development and cell viability.Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analysis revealed that the differentially expressed genes are involved in numerous pathways related to amino acid and vitamin metabolism and antioxidant and defensive functions,among others.The relative expression of some genes associated with intestinal barrier function(claudins 2,15,19,and 23,tight junction proteins 1,2,and 3 and mucin 1)was significantly increased in the treatment group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Moreover,the proportion of Firmicutes was higher in the C.butyricum-treated group,whereas the proportion of Proteobacteria was higher in the control group.At the genus level,the relative abundances of Butyricicoccus and Lactobacillus,among other bacteria,were increased after C.butyricum supplementation.The tissue staining analysis showed that the cecal mucosa of broilers was significantly ameliorated after the addition of C.butyricum(P<0.05 or P<0.01).These results showed that dietary supplementation with C.butyricum can enhance the antioxidant capacity,mucosal barrier function,and stabilize the cecal microbiota,resulting in improving the growth performance.Laipeng Xu Xiangli Sun Xianhua Wan Keke Li Fuchun Jian Wenting Li Ruirui Jiang Ruili Han Hong Li Xiangtao Kang Yanbin Wang 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:12

12Spatiotemporal Evolution of Runoff and Sediment of the Taohe River and Its Driving Analysis显示文摘In order to explore the spatial and temporal changes of runoff and sediment in the Taohe River and its driving mechanism,Spearman correlation coefficient method,Mann-Kendell mutation test method and ordered clustering method were used to analyze the changes of runoff and sediment discharge and their driving factors in four hydrological stations along the Taohe River from 1957 to 2016.The results showed that the correlation between runoff and sediment of the four hydrological stations along the Taohe River was significant,and the correlation coefficient was 0.728-0.984.The runoff and sediment transport in the interval showed an increasing and decreasing trend.The decrease rate of runoff was 133.82%-216.17%higher than that of Xiabagou station,and the decrease rate of sediment transport was 250.49%-4766.33%higher than that of Xiabagou station.The mutation year of the Taohe River runoff occurred in 1986,and the maximum decrease was 35%.The water-sediment relationship curves of different periods showed that the sediment discharge of the four stations changed abruptly around 1990,and the maximum reduction before and after the mutation was up to 73%,and the sediment discharge in the river channel decreased significantly.The research showed that human activities were the main driving factors for the change of water-sediment relationship in the Taohe River.Changquan ZHOU Hong MA Jiantang XU Dengrui MU Yanbin LIU Xi LIU 2022Meteorological and Environmental Research2022,13,5:0
13Configuration and Setting of Protections for Wind Farm Collector System显示文摘Compared with traditional synchronous generators, wind turbine generators are different in electricity generation principles, control modes and integration topologies, which makes their fault characteristics change a lot. This, consequently, brings challenges regarding the behavior of protections for wind farm collector systems. In this paper, based on a practical wind farm, configuration and setting of relay protections for such a collector system is analyzed and determined systematically in consideration of the selectivity and sensitivity of the protections. Results show that misoperation of overcurrent relay and zero sequence overcurrent relay of the non-fault collector line occurs, and bus differential relay of collector bus cannot remove the single-phase-to-ground fault. 14Research progress on lung cancer stem cells in epidermal growth factor receptor–tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeted therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally.In recent years,with the widespread use of genetic testing,epidermal growth factor receptor–tyrosine kinase inhibitor(EGFR-TKI)–targeted drugs have been efficacious to patients with lung adenocarcinoma exhibiting EGFR mutations.However,resistance to treatment is inevitable and eventually leads to tumor progression,recurrence,and reduction in the overall treatment efficacy.Lung cancer stem cells play a crucial role in the development of resistance toward EGFR-TKI–targeted therapy for lung adenocarcinoma.Lung cancer stem cells possess self-renewal,multilineage differentiation,and unlimited proliferation capabilities,which efficiently contribute to tumor formation and ultimately lead to tumor recurrence andmetastasis.In this study,we evaluated the origin,markers,stemness index,relevant classic studies,resistance mechanisms,related signaling pathways,and strategies for reversing lung cancer stem cell resistance to EGFR-TKIs to provide new insights on delaying or reducing resistance and to improve the treatment efficacy of patients with EGFR-mutated lung adenocarcinoma in the future.Hong Zhang Yanbin Wang Xianglin Yuan Yanmei Zou Hua Xiong 2024Oncology and Translational Medicine2024,10,1:0
