1Apple leaf disease identification using genetic algorithm and correlation based feature selection method显示文摘Apple leaf disease is one of the main factors to constrain the apple production and quality.It takes a long time to detect the diseases by using the traditional diagnostic approach,thus farmers often miss the best time to prevent and treat the diseases.Apple leaf disease recognition based on leaf image is an essential research topic in the field of computer vision,where the key task is to find an effective way to represent the diseased leaf images.In this research,based on image processing techniques and pattern recognition methods,an apple leaf disease recognition method was proposed.A color transformation structure for the input RGB(Red,Green and Blue)image was designed firstly and then RGB model was converted to HSI(Hue,Saturation and Intensity),YUV and gray models.The background was removed based on a specific threshold value,and then the disease spot image was segmented with region growing algorithm(RGA).Thirty-eight classifying features of color,texture and shape were extracted from each spot image.To reduce the dimensionality of the feature space and improve the accuracy of the apple leaf disease identification,the most valuable features were selected by combining genetic algorithm(GA)and correlation based feature selection(CFS).Finally,the diseases were recognized by SVM classifier.In the proposed method,the selected feature subset was globally optimum.The experimental results of more than 90%correct identification rate on the apple diseased leaf image database which contains 90 disease images for there kinds of apple leaf diseases,powdery mildew,mosaic and rust,demonstrate that the proposed method is feasible and effective.Zhang Chuanlei Zhang Shanwen Yang Jucheng Shi Yancui Chen Jia 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2:7
2Discovery of lacustrine shale deposits in the Yanshan Orogenic Belt,China: Implications for hydrocarbon exploration显示文摘The mechanism of formation of lacustrine deposits within stable orogenic belts and their potential for shale oil and gas exploration are frontier themes of challenge in the fields of sedimentology and petroleum exploration. Orogenic belts witness strong tectonic activities and normally cannot host stable lacustrine basins and deep shale formations. Therefore, basins in orogenic belts are considered to have no potential to form shale hydrocarbon reservoirs. Here we investigate the Luanping Basin located in the Yanshan orogenic belt where previous studies regarded rivers and fan deltas as the major main Mesozoic deposits. Based on detailed field exploration and scientific drilling, we report the finding of a large number of lacustrine shale continental deep-water deposits in the Mesozoic strata. Our finding of the occurrence of active shale oil and gas also in this basin also subvert the previous perceptions.We report SHRIMP zircon U-Pb age that define the bottom boundary of the target interval as 127.6 ± 1.7 Ma belonging to the early Cretaceous strata. Tectonics and climate are considered to be the main factors that controlled the deep-water sedimentation during this period. The drill cores revealed evidence of shale gas and the TOC of shale is 0.33%–3.60%, with an average value of 1.39% and Ro is 0.84%–1.21%, with an average value of 1.002%. The brittleness index of shale is between 52.7% and 100%. After vertical well fracturing, the daily gas production is more than 1000 m^(3). Our findings show that the basin has considerable potential for shale oil and gas. The geological resources of the shale gas in the Xiguayuan Fm. are estimated as 1110.12 × 10^(8) m^(3), with shale oil geological resources of 3340.152 × 10^(4) t. Our findings indicate that the Yanshan orogenic belt has potential exploration prospect. This work not only redefines the Luanping Basin as a rift deep-water Mesozoic Lake Basin, but also rules out the previous notion that the basin is dominated by shallow water sediments. The discovery of shale oil and gas also provides an important reference for subsequent petroleum exploration and development in this basin. Our study shows that shale oil and gas reservoirs can be found in the lacustrine basins of orogenic belts which were strongly influenced by volcanism. 7Influence of Dietary Probiotic Bacillus TC22 and Prebiotic Fructooligosaccharide on Growth,Immune Responses and Disease Resistance against Vibrio splendidus Infection in Sea Cucumber Apostichopus japonicus显示文摘The effects of probiotic Bacillus TC22 (isolated from intestine of infected sea cucumber) and prebiotic fructooligosaccharide (FOS) on growth, immunity and disease resistance in sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus were studied. Six experimental diets were formulated with combinations of three levels of TC22 (0, 107 and 109 CFU g-1 diet) and two levels of FOS (0 and 0.5%) in a 3 × 2 factorial experiment. At the end of the 8-week feeding trial,animals were challenged by injecting Vibrio splendidus. The results revealed that the specific growth rates (SGR) of sea cucumbers were not affected by TC22 and FOS, or the interaction between TC22 and FOS (P > 0.05). However,there were significant interactions between TC22 and FOS for immune response and disease resistance in sea cucumbers (P < 0.05). When sea cucumbers were fed with TC22 at 109 CFU g?1 feed and 0.5% FOS alone or in combination, the phagocytosis, respiratory burst and phenoloxidase activity of sea cucumber coelomocytes were significantly enhanced;the disease resistance against V. splendidus infection was also increased significantly (P < 0.05).However, dietary combination of TC22 at 109 CFU g-1 diet and 0.5% FOS did not yield significantly higher efficiency than either TC22 at 109 CFU g-1 diet or 0.5% FOS used alone (P > 0.05). 8Effects of a Potential Autochthonous Probiotic Bacillus subtilis 2-1 on the Growth and Intestinal Microbiota of Juvenile Sea Cucumber,Apostichopus japonicus Selenka显示文摘The effects of Bacillus subtilis 2-1 from the intestine of healthy sea cucumber on the growth, digestive enzyme activities and intestinal microbiota of juvenile sea cucumber(Apostichopus japonicus) were determined in the present study. Sea cucumber was fed with Sargassum thunbergii powder supplemented with B. subtilis 2-1 at different concentrations varying among 0(control), 10~5, 10~7, and 10~9 CFU g^(-1) for 8 weeks. Results showed that the growth performance and intestinal amylase and trypsin activities were significantly increased by dietary B. subtilis 2-1 at 10~9 CFU g^(-1)(P < 0.05). However, dietary B. subtilis 2-1 had no significant influence on the lipase activity in sea cucumber(P > 0.05). The polymerase chain reaction denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis and 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis indicated that dietary B. subtilis 2-1 at 105 and 107 CFU g^(-1) inhibited most of the Proteobacteria including those in genus Vibrio. Dietary B. subtilis 2-1 at 10~9 CFU g^(-1) not only decreased the abundance and species of genus Vibrio, but also increased the intensity of genera Psychrobacter and Bacillus. 9Multi-chambered,carbon-coated Ni_(0.4)Fe_(2.6)O_(4) nanoparticle superlattice microspheres for boosting water oxidation reaction显示文摘Developing active and robust non-noble-metal-based electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is of vital practical significance for accelerating the kinetics of water splitting.Here,a novel double emulsion template method is proposed to design and prepare hierarchically multichambered,carbon-coated Ni_(0.4)Fe_(2.6)O_(4) nanoparticle superlattice microspheres(M-NFO@C-NSMs)for the highly efficient oxygen evolution.The high-temperature calcination under inert gas enables an improved electrochemical property by rationally transforming the long-chain organic capping ligands into partially graphitized uniform carbon coatings.More importantly,benefiting from the unique hierarchical superstructure with macro-/meso-/microporosities and three-dimensional continuous conductive carbon frameworks,M-NFO@C-NSMs exhibit comprehensively enhanced OER activity in a dilute alkaline electrolyte as compared to their solid counterparts and most spinelbased electrocatalysts reported to date.Notably,the collective property of supraparticles endowed M-NFO@C-NSMs with superior long-term cyclic stability.This work sheds light on the sophisticated design of functionalized supraparticles for efficient water splitting.Mingzhong Li Yuwei Deng Guanhong Wu Shuqing Xue Yancui Yan Zihan Liu Jinxiang Zou Dong Yang Angang Dong 2021Aggregate2021,2,2:0
10Apigenin, a natural flavonoid, promotes autophagy and ferroptosis in human endometrial carcinoma Ishikawa cells in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Apigenin,a natural flavonoid has been reported against a variety of cancer types.However,it is unclear whether apigenin can promote autophagy and ferroptosis in Ishikawa cells.There are few reports on the mechanism of apigenin on autophagy and ferroptosis of endometrial cancer Ishikawa cells.We found that iron accumulation,lipid peroxidation,glutathione consumption,p62,HMOX1,and ferritin were increased,while,solute carrier family 7 member 11 and glutathione peroxidase 4 were decreased.Ferrostatin-1,an iron-death inhibitor could reverse the effects of apigenin in Ishikawa cells.On the other hand,apigenin could promote autophagy via up-regulating Beclin 1,ULK1,ATG5,ATG13,and LC3B and down-regulating AMPK,mTOR,P70S6K,and ATG4.Furthermore,apigenin could inhibit tumor tissue proliferation and restrict tumor growth via ferroptosis in vivo.Yancui Liang Qian Zhong Runhui Ma Zhijing Ni Kiran Thakur Jianguo Zhang Zhaojun Wei 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,6:0
