3A 3D/0D cobalt-embedded nitrogen-doped porous carbon/supramolecular porphyrin magnetic-separation photocatalyst with highly efficient pollutant degradation and water oxidation performance显示文摘A 3D/0D cobalt-embedded nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanocubes(Co-N-C)/supramolecular tetra(4-carboxylphenyl)porphyrin nanocrystals(SA-TCPP)photocatalyst was successfully self-assembled viaπ–πinteraction, hydrogen bonding, and chemical bonding.Co-N-C/SA-TCPP heterostructure exhibited satisfactory visible photocatalytic oxidation performance on pollutant degradation and water evolution. The degradation rates of Co-N-C/ST(30%)composite towards 2,4-dichlorophenol,ofloxacin,and ethylene were10.9,7.2,and 2.1 times faster than SA-TCPP,respectively.The oxygen evolution efficiency was 1.9 times higher than SA-TCPP.The remarkably improved oxidation activities of Co-N-C/SA-TCPP were mainly ascribed to the following reasons:(1)Co-N-C could enhance the light absorption ability of SA-TCPP to produce more photoinduced carriers.(2)The well-developed porosity of Co-N-C could optimize the dispersibility of SA-TCPP to provide more reactive sites and charge separation channels.(3)Theπ–πinteraction between SA-TCPP and Co-N-C was beneficial to interlayer charge mobility, while the embedded cobalt nanoparticles(Co NPs)and N-doped carbon matrix could serve as electron traps to accelerate interfacial electron transfer.Additionally, the ferromagnetic Co NPs endowed Co-N-C/SA-TCPP with magnetic-separation function to promote recyclability in practical application.Lufang Ning Jing Xu Yang Lou Chengsi Pan Zhouping Wang Yongfa Zhu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,29:0
4Research on the influence of outdoor trees on natural ventilation performance of an academic building显示文摘Planting trees around buildings has always been used as one of the most common viable landscaping strategies in schools. However, the impact of trees on natural ventilation inside the building has been neglected without investigation. The emphasis of this study related to the impact of outdoor trees around the academic building on indoor ventilation.Numerical simulations of the indoor wind environment of the academic building affected by trees were performed utilizing the k-εmodel with additional source terms. The numerical model was also validated by measured data. Two kinds of trees were selected, they are camphor and metasequoia.Camphor is a kind of broad-leaved tree and metasequoia is a kind of coniferous tree.26 simulation cases with six different tree canopy spacings were conducted. These results showed that the outdoor trees had great influences on the natural ventilation performance of the academic building.Compared with the case without the trees, the highest decrement in ventilation flow rate could be up to 31.97%in this study. For the cases of classrooms with horizontal distribution, the ages of air of the classrooms became fresher with the increase of the canopy spacing. While for the cases of classrooms with vertical distribution, the canopy spacing had fewer effects on the natural ventilation performances. It was also found that the blocking effects of camphor on indoor ventilation were higher than that of metasequoia. The average ventilation flow rate in cases with metasequoia was increased by 14.89%compared to the cases with camphor. This study could provide guidance for the layout design of trees around the building.Shengnan Niu Xiaodong Liu Annan Wang Lufang Chen Xin Zhou Xing Shi Liu Yang Xing Jin 2023Building Simulation2023,16,6:0
5Pollutant exposure and health outcomes:protocol for a comprehensive umbrella review of meta-analyses and evidence mapping显示文摘Background:Many systematic reviews and meta-analyses(MAs)regarding the association between pollutant(e.g.,air pollution, noise pollution, and heavy metal pollution)exposure and health outcomes have been published recently, but there is still a lack of comprehensive research based on these MAs,and the evidence quality of these MAs are unknown. Therefore,we designed an umbrella review to address these gaps in knowledge. Methods:MAs that evaluated the association between pollutant exposure and health outcomes will be systematically searched through the PubMed and Embase databases in May 2021.Pairs of reviewers will conduct the study screening and data extraction independently, and cross-check the results.PRISMA and AMSTAR 2 will be used to evaluate the reporting and methodological quality of MAs included, respectively, and an evidence mapping method will be used to present the results. The corrected cover area(CCA)method will be used to assess the degree of overlap for included primary studies among MAs.The outcomes will be reanalyzed based on the random-effects model using the appropriate effect size, and the corresponding 95%confidence intervals will be reported.Meanwhile, sensitivity analysis and subgroup analysis will be used to explore heterogeneity. The GRADE method will be used to evaluate the evidence quality of outcome indicators.Stata 16.0 and Excel 2019 will be used for data analysis, and P<0.05 will be considered to indicate statistical significance. Results:The results of this umbrella review will be submitted to a peer-reviewed English journal for publication. Conclusion:We designed the first umbrella review to summarize evidence from MAs on the association between common pollutant exposure and health conditions. The results of this study will provide evidence for health policy makers to formulate appropriate health policies and researchers to conduct new studies.Jing Qi Lufang Feng Jiemei Hu Haitong Zhao Jieyun Li Lixin Ke Xue Shang Kehu Yang Cuncun Lu 2021Asian Toxicology Tesearch2021,3,3:0
