| 2 | Numerical simulation and experimental investigation of natural convection heat transfer of molten salt around fine wire显示文摘In order to get the natural convection heat transfer mechanism of molten salt, the experimental investigation of natural convective heat transfer of LiNO3was studied after it was simulated by numerical calculation. Experiment was carried out on the nat-ural convection heat transfer of air and water around the fine wire using the method of Joule heating. The results showed that the natural convection heat transfer of air and water around the fine wire agreed well with Fand's correlation. Based on the aforementioned experiment, the natural convection heat transfer of molten salt LiNO3was studied by experiment and the same results were got. | 4 | Microstructure and properties of novel Al-Ce-Sc,Al-Ce-Y,Al-Ce-Zr and Al-Ce-Sc-Y alloy conductors processed by die casting,hot extrusion and cold drawing显示文摘In order to overcome the trade-off between the strength and electrical conductivity of aluminum alloy conductors,the new Al-Ce-Sc,Al-Ce-Y,Al-Ce-Zr and Al-Ce-Sc-Y alloys were prepared by die casting,high temperature homogenization treatment,hot extrusion and cold drawing.Adding Sc and Y eliminated the dendrite segregation of the as-cast Al-0.2 Ce alloy and promoted the formation of equiaxed grains with the average grain size of 142.5μm.The Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy inherited the great tensile properties of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy and the high electrical conductivity of Al-0.2 Ce-0.1 Y alloy simultaneously.After cold drawing and annealing at 200℃for 5 h,the ultimate tensile strength of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy reached 200 MPa and 198 MPa,the elongation reached 6.8%and 8.5%,and the electrical conductivity reached 61.01%and 61.77%,respectively.The main second phase of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy after hot extrusion were Al_(13)Fe_3 Ce containing a few Y and Si atoms.The larger size and proportion of the second phase greatly reduced the concentration of solute Fe and Si atoms and the addition of Y significantly decreased the density of defects after cold drawing compared to Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy,which improved electrical conductivity of the alloy.Furthermore,the dispersed and coherent nano-size Al_3 Sc precipitions of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy greatly improved strength,elongation and heat resistance.Compared with Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy,the lower density of dislocation,stacking fault and subgrain boundary and the larger size of Al_3 Sc precipitions with enrichment of Y atoms enable the Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy to maintain high strength,elongation and electrical conductivity after annealing. | Weiyi Wang Qinglin Pan Geng Lin Xiaoping Wang Yuqiao Sun Xiangdong Wang Ji Ye Yuanwei Sun Yi Yu Fuqing Jiang Jun Li Yaru Liu | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23: | 4 |
| 5 | Effects of yttrium and phosphorus on growth and physiological characteristics of Microcystis aeruginosa显示文摘Yttrium is a main kind of rare earth elements(REEs) with wide applications in modern industry and farming. Phosphorus, an essential element of algae, is used as the nutrients and also one of the main factors of eutrophication. To investigate the effects of yttrium and phosphorus on Microcystis aeruginosa(M. aeruginosa), the growth and physiological changes were studied by lab cultured experiments. In the experiment, exogenous yttrium was tested by a concentration gradient(0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0 mg/L),meanwhile, phosphorus was tested by three concentrations(0.0, 0.02, 0.2 mg/L). The results show that the contents of chlorophyll a(chl-a) and soluble protein increase compared with the control and they have certain correlation with algal cells density. The growth status of algae is stimulated by initial yttrium concentration <0.3 and 0.2 mg/L phosphorus, while it is inhabited by 0.5 and 1.0 mg/L yttrium. Besides,the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) of algae increases with addition of yttrium dose(0-0.3 mg/L)when phosphorus dose is 0.2 mg/L. Furthermore, when yttrium dose is 0.5 and 1.0 mg/L, the vitality of SOD presents a sharp decline. | 7 | Flexible Operation Mode of Coal-fired Power Unit Coupling with Heat Storage of Extracted Reheat Steam显示文摘In order to provide more grid space for the renewable energy power,the traditional coal-fired power unit should be operated flexibility,especially achieved the deep peak shaving capacity.In this paper,a new scheme using the reheat steam extraction is proposed to further reduce the load far below 50%rated power.Two flexible operation modes of increasing power output mode and reducing fuel mode are proposed in heat discharging process.A 600 MW coal-fired power unit with 50%rated power is chosen as the research model.The results show that the power output is decreased from 300.03 MW to 210.07 MW when the extracted reheat steam flow rate is 270.70 t·h^(-1),which increases the deep peak shaving capacity by 15%rated power.The deep peak shaving time and the thermal efficiency are 7.63 h·d^(-1)and 36.91%respectively for the increasing power output mode,and they are 7.24 h·d^(-1)and 36.58%respectively for the reducing fuel mode.The increasing power output mode has the advantages of higher deep peak shaving time and the thermal efficiency,which is recommended as the preferred scheme for the flexible operation of the coal-fired power unit. | WEI Haijiao LU Yuanwei YANG Yanchun ZHANG Cancan WU Yuting LI Weidong ZHAO Dongming | 2022 | Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,2: | 3 |

| 17 | Evolutions of diffusion activation energy and Zener–Hollomon parameter of ultra-high strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr alloy during hot compression显示文摘The changes of stress level for the ultra-high strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr alloy were described by constitutive equation with considering lattice diffusion of aluminum, zinc, magnesium and copper. Zener–Hollomon(Z)parameter expression based on the constitutive equation with considering lattice diffusion was used to reflect the changes of microstructure. The critical stress σcfor the initiation of dynamic recrystallization(DRX) was introduced to calculate the Z parameter. Steady-state dislocation density ρsatand critical dislocation density ρcfor the initiation of DRX decreased with the increase of deformation temperature. The dependence of diffusion activation energy Q on temperature and strain rate was given and the effects of deformation conditions on Q were discussed in detail. Microstructural evolution revealed that low angle boundaries(2–5°) created in the process of dynamic recovery(DRV) could convert into subgrain boundary, thus the original grains were divided into subgrains, and then subgrains transformed into DRX grains by the way of progressive rotation. When the Z value was high(ln Z > 30.9), DRV was the main softening mechanism. With the decrease of Z value, both of DRV and DRX played an important roles in softening effect, while with the further decrease of Z value(ln Z < 28.6), DRX became the main softening mechanism.
