| 1 | Cancer nanotechnology: Enhancing tumor cell response to chemotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma therapy显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the deadliest cancers due to its complexities,reoccurrence after surgical resection,metastasis and heterogeneity.In addition to sorafenib and lenvatinib for the treatment of HCC approved by FDA,various strategies including transarterial chemoembolization,radiotherapy,locoregional therapy and chemotherapy have been investigated in clinics.Recently,cancer nanotechnology has got great attention for the treatment of various cancers including HCC.Both passive and active targetings are progressing at a steady rate.Herein,we describe the lessons learned from pathogenesis of HCC and the understanding of targeted and non-targeted nanoparticles used for the delivery of small molecules,monoclonal antibodies,miRNAs and peptides.Exploring current efficacy is to enhance tumor cell response of chemotherapy.It highlights the opportunities and challenges faced by nanotechnologies in contemporary hepatocellular carcinoma therapy,where personalized medicine is increasingly becoming the mainstay.Overall objective of this review is to enhance our understanding in the design and development of nanotechnology for treatment of HCC. | Yongbing Sun Wen Ma Yuanyuan Yang Mengxue He Aimin Li Lei Bai Bin Yu Zhiqiang Yu | 2019 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2019,14,6: | 8 |
| 2 | Delivery of triptolide with reduction-sensitive polymer nanoparticles for liver cancer therapy on patient-derived xenografts models显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)has become the fourth predominant cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide,and HCC is still one of the worst prognoses for survival as it is poorly responsive to both chemotherapy and surgical treatment due to drug resista nce and great toxic effects.Triptolide(TP),a key ingredient from the traditional Chinese medical herb,has been utilized to treat inflammation and antitumor for centuries.However,investigations of this potent agent have been met with only limited success due to the severe systemic toxicities in patients and low water solubility as well as its high toxicity over the past two decades.Herein,we reported the development of a reduction-responsive drug delive ry system loaded with TP fo r glutathione(GSH)-trigge red drug release for cancer therapy.With the GSH-sensitive TP loaded nanoparticles,the remarkable increases in tumor accumulation and amelioration of drug toxicity in animals are demonstrated,which is likely due to sustained stepwise release of active TP within cancer cells.Moreover,in a patient-derived tumor xenograft model of liver cancer,administration of tritolide nanoparticles enhances the antitumor efficacy relative to administration of free TP.These findings indicate that GSH-sensitive release of TP may be a promising strategy for cancer treatment. | Mengxue He Ling Yu Yuanyuan Yang Binhua Zou Wen Ma Meng Yu Jiandong Lu Guoliang Xiong Zhiqiang Yu Aimin Li | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,12: | 5 |

| 12 | Optical properties of Zn-diffused InP layers for the planar-type InGaAs/InP photodetectors显示文摘Zn diffusion into InP was carried out ex-situ using a new Zn diffusion technique with zinc phosphorus particles placed around InP materials as zinc source in a semi-closed chamber formed by a modified diffusion furnace.The optical characteristics of the Zn-diffused InP layer for the planar-type InGaAs/InP PIN photodetectors grown by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) has been investigated by photoluminescence(PL) measurements. The temperature-dependent PL spectrum of Zn-diffused InP samples at different diffusion temperatures showed that band-to-acceptor transition dominates the PL emission, which indicates that Zn was commendably diffused into InP layer as the acceptor. High quality Zn-diffused InP layer with typically smooth surface was obtained at 580 °C for 10 min. Furthermore, more interstitial Zn atoms were activated to act as acceptors after a rapid annealing process.Based on the above Zn-diffusion technique, a 50 μm planar-type InGaAs/InP PIN photodector device was fabricated and exhibited a low dark current of 7.73 pA under a reverse bias potential of.5 V and a high breakdown voltage of larger than 41 V(I < 10 μA). | 14 | Noise attenuation of frequency-modulated multi-rotor using sound field reproduction显示文摘Multi-rotor aircraft has great potential in urban traffic and military use and its noise problem has attracted more attention recently.Multi-rotor aircrafts are typically controlled by changing the rotation speeds of the rotors.To reduce the noise of multiple frequency-modulated rotors,a global noise attenuation method is proposed in this study.First,the fast prediction method is used to estimate the global noise of the multirotor with different configurations online.Meanwhile,the sound field reproduction method is used to obtain the control signal of the loudspeaker array to achieve global noise attenuation.Then,the influence of array arrangement on noise reduction is analyzed in the acoustic modal domain,which reveals that different optimization models are needed to minimize the noise power or/and the noise pressure in some directions when the scale of the array is limited.Next,to improve the real-time performance of the system,the online calculation of the optimal control signal is transformed into the offline design of the optimal filter,which satisfies the target frequency-domain characteristics.Finally,the experimental results of the noise of a model quadrotor in the anechoic chamber were consistent with the predicted results.The simulation results of noise attenuation for the quadrotor show that the method proposed reduced the global noise power by about 13 dB.Moreover,the noise region radiated from the quadrotor to the ground with the boundary of 40 dB was reduced to 8.4%of that before control. | Xice XU Yang LU Mengxue SHAO Jiaxin LU | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,11: | 0 |
| 15 | Haem Oxygenase 1 is a potential target for creating etiolated/albino tea plants (Camellia sinensis) with high theanine accumulation显示文摘Theanine content is highly correlated with sensory quality and health benefits of tea infusion.The tender shoots of etiolated and albino tea plants contain higher theanine than the normal green tea plants and are valuable materials for high quality green tea processing.However,why these etiolated or albino tea plants can highly accumulate theanine is largely unknown.In this study,we observed an Arabidopsis etiolated mutant hy1–100(mutation in Haem Oxygenase 1,HO1)that accumulated higher levels of glutamine(an analog of theanine).We therefore identified CsHO1 in tea plants and found CsHO1 is conserved in amino acid sequences and subcellular localization with its homologs in other plants.Importantly,CsHO1 expression in the new shoots was much lower in an etiolated tea plants‘Huangkui’and an albino tea plant‘Huangshan Baicha’than that in normal green tea plants.The expression levels of CsHO1 were negatively correlated with theanine contents in these green,etiolated and albino shoots.Moreover,CsHO1 expression levels in various organs and different time points were also negatively correlated with theanine accumulation.The hy1–100 was hypersensitive to high levels of theanine and accumulated more theanine under theanine feeding,and these phenotypes were rescued by the expression of CsHO1 in this mutant.Transient knockdown CsHO1 expression in the new shoots of tea plant using antisense oligonucleotides(asODN)increased theanine accumulation.Collectively,these results demonstrated CsHO1 negatively regulates theanine accumulation in tea plants,and that low expression CsHO1 likely contributes to the theanine accumulation in etiolated/albino tea plants. | Ziping Chen Shijia Lin Tingting Chen Mengxue Han Tianyuan Yang Yan Wang Shilai Bao Zhougao Shen Xiaochun Wan Zhaoliang Zhang | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,2: | 0 |

| 18 | Chromosome-scale genome assembly of Cucumis hystrix-a wild species interspecifically cross-compatible with cultivated cucumber显示文摘Cucumis hystrix Chakr.(2n=2x=24)is a wild species that can hybridize with cultivated cucumber(C.sativus L.,2n=2x=14),a globally important vegetable crop.However,cucumber breeding is hindered by its narrow genetic base.Therefore,introgression from C.hystrix has been anticipated to bring a breakthrough in cucumber improvement.Here,we report the chromosome-scale assembly of C.hystrix genome(289 Mb).Scaffold N50 reached 14.1 Mb.Over 90%of the sequences were anchored onto 12 chromosomes.A total of 23,864 genes were annotated using a hybrid method.Further,we conducted a comprehensive comparative genomic analysis of cucumber,C.hystrix,and melon(C.melo L.,2n=2x=24).Whole-genome comparisons revealed that C.hystrix is phylogenetically closer to cucumber than to melon,providing a molecular basis for the success of its hybridization with cucumber.Moreover,expanded gene families of C.hystrix were significantly enriched in“defense response,”and C.hystrix harbored 104 nucleotide-binding site-encoding disease resistance gene analogs.Furthermore,121 genes were positively selected,and 12(9.9%)of these were involved in responses to biotic stimuli,which might explain the high disease resistance of C.hystrix.The alignment of whole C.hystrix genome with cucumber genome and self-alignment revealed 45,417 chromosome-specific sequences evenly distributed on C.hystrix chromosomes.Finally,we developed four cucumber-C.hystrix alien addition lines and identified the exact introgressed chromosome using molecular and cytological methods.The assembled C.hystrix genome can serve as a valuable resource for studies on Cucumis evolution and interspecific introgression breeding of cucumber. | Xiaodong Qin Zhonghua Zhang Qunfeng Lou Lei Xia Ji Li Mengxue Li Junguo Zhou Xiaokun Zhao Yuanchao Xu Qing Li Shuqiong Yang Xiaqing Yu Chunyan Cheng Sanwen Huang Jinfeng Chen | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 0 |
