1Clinical observations of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures by using mineralized collagen modified polymethylmethacrylate bone cement显示文摘To investigate the clinical outcomes of the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCFs)by using mineralized collagen(MC)modified polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA)bone cement.52 cases(52 vertebras)who sustained OVCF treated with MC modified PMMA bone cement from July 2014 to December 2015 were reviewed retrospectively.All the cases(52 patients,52 vertebras)included 8 males and 44 females with an average age of 74.83(ranging from 57-to 90-years old).The visual analogue scale(VAS),vertebral body height,Cobb angle,CT values preand post-operation as well as incidence of complications were used to be observed.All the patients underwent the surgery were successfully followed-up with an average period of 13.54 months(ranging from 6 to 23 months).The patients can ambulate at the second day after the operation.The VAS scores 2 days after the operation and during the last follow-up were significantly decreased compared with that before the operation(P<0.05);the average vertebral height and local Cobb angle had significant recovery(P<0.05);the CT value of the treated vertebra significantly increased compared with that before the operation(P<0.05).MC with good osteogenic activity and degradation properties can effectively improve the mechanical properties and biocompatibility of the PMMA bone cement,thus obtain better clinical results.XiWang Jian-Ming Kou Yang Yue An-Ze Shao Xue-Jun Jia Jian-Wen Hou Chong Gao Zhi-Ye Qiu Xiu-Mei Wang Xi-Sheng Weng 2017Regenerative Biomaterials2017,4,2:5
2Incidence and prevalence of moyamoya disease in urban China: a nationwide retrospective cohort study显示文摘Background and objective Moyamoya disease(MMD)is an increasingly recognised cause of stroke,mainly described in East Asia.China is the largest nation in Asia,but few studies reported the epidemiology of MMD,especially at a national level.We aimed to estimate the incidence and prevalence of MMD in China.Methods We performed a population-based study using data from the national databases of Urban Basic Medical Insurance between 2013 and 2016,covering approximately 0.50 billion individuals.MMD cases were identified by diagnostic code(International Classification of Diseases,10th Revision I67.5)or related diagnostic text.Results A total of 1987 MMD patients(mean age 44.45±14.30 years,female-to male ratio 1.12)were identified,representing a national crude incidence of 0.59(95%CI:0.49 to 0.68)and a prevalence of 1.01(95%CI:0.81 to 1.21)per 100000 person-years in 2016.Rates were higher in females than in males for the incidence(0.66 vs 0.52)and prevalence(1.05 vs 0.90).And the age-specific rates showed a bimodal distribution,with the highest peak in middle-aged group and the second peak in child group.Conclusions Our results confirm that MMD is relatively common in East Asians,but the rates in China were lower than those in other East Asian countries such as Japan and Korea.The unique epidemiological features,including a relatively weak female predominance and a shift in the highest peak of incidence from children to adults,revealed new sight into MMD.Further research is expected to explore the potential pathogenesis of MMD.Yixin Sun Guoyu Zhou Jingnan Feng Lu Chen Guozhen Liu Jinxi Wang Qingliang Wang Junyou Yu Xiwang Yang Zheng Yang Pei Gao Shengfeng Wang Siyan Zhan 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,4:4

11Microstructure,mechanical properties and fracture behaviors of large-scale sand-cast Mg-3Y-2Gd-1Nd-0.4Zr alloy显示文摘In order to improve the ductility of commercial WE43 alloy and reduce its cost,a Mg-3Y-2Gd-1Nd-0.4Zr alloy with a low amount of rare earths was developed and prepared by sand casting with a differential pressure casting system.Its microstructure,mechanical properties and fracture behaviors in the as-cast,solution-treated and as-aged states were evaluated.It is found that the aged alloy exhibited excellent comprehensive mechanical properties owing to the fine dense plate-shapedβ'precipitates formed on prismatic habits during aging at 200℃for 192 hrs after solution-treated at 500℃for 24 hrs.Its ultimate tensile strength,yield strength,and elongation at ambient temperature reach to 319±10 MPa,202±2 MPa and 8.7±0.3%as well as 230±4 MPa,155±1 MPa and 16.0±0.5%at 250℃.The fracture mode of as-aged alloy was transferred from cleavage at room temperature to quasi-cleavage and ductile fracture at the test temperature 300℃.The properties of large-scale components fabricated using the developed Mg-3Y-2Gd-1Nd-0.4Zr alloy are better than those of commercial WE43 alloy,suggesting that the new developed alloy is a good candidate to fabricate the large complex thin-walled components.Lixiang Yang Yuanding Huang Zhengquan Hou Lv Xiao Yuling Xu Xiwang Dong Fei Li Gerrit Kurz Baode Sun Zhongquan Li Norbert Hort 2023Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,8:0
12Applications of Magnesium Alloys in Aerospace and Aviation显示文摘Magnesium alloys are well applied in aerospace and aviation because of their mass saving potential,good electromagnetic shielding performance,and high damping capacity. To further promote the applications,in this paper,the applications of magnesium alloys are reviewed,which could provide insights for researchers and application designers. Firstly,the applications in aerospace are reviewed,including missile,satellite,rocket,and spacecraft.Secondly,the applications and commercial magnesium alloys in aviation are summarized. Thirdly,the bottleneck and existing problems for such magnesium alloys applied in aerospace and aviation are discussed. 13Preparation of Compound Ban Huang Oral Liquid显示文摘[Objectives] To determine the optimal preparation process of compound Ban Huang oral liquid. [Methods] Orthogonal test and other methods were used to optimize the preparation conditions of compound Ban Huang oral liquid. [Results] The optimal conditions determined were as follows: soaking for 12 h,decocting twice with 2 h per time,concentrating filtrate to 1. 18-1. 25 g/m L at 80 ℃,ethanol precipitating twice with ethanol contents of 600 and 750 ml/L,standing for 24 h. 14Lightweight diamond/Cu interface tuning for outstanding heat conduction显示文摘With rapid developments in the field of very large-scale integrated circuits,heat dissipation has emerged as a significant factor that restricts the high-density integration of chips.Due to their high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient,diamond/Cu composites have attracted considerable attention as a promising thermal management material.In this study,a surface tungsten carbide gradient layer coating of diamond particles has been realized using comprehensive magnetron sputtering technology and a heat treatment process.Diamond/Cu composites were prepared using high-temperature and high-pressure technology.The results show that,by adjusting the heat treatment process,tungsten carbide and di-tungsten carbide are generated by an in situ reaction at the tungsten–diamond interface,and W–WC–W_(2)C gradient layer-coated diamond particles were obtained.The diamond/Cu composites were sintered by high-temperature and high-pressure technology,and the density of surface-modified diamond/Cu composites was less than 4 g cm^(-3).The W–WC–W_(2)C@diamond/Cu composites have a thermal diffusivity as high as 331 mm^(2)s^(-1),and their thermal expansion coefficient is as low as 1.76×10^(-6)K^(-1).The interface coherent structure of the gradient layer-coated diamond/copper composite can effectively improve the interface heat transport efficiency.Wenjie Dou Congxu Zhu Xiwang Wu Xun Yang Wenjun Fa Yange Zhang Junfeng Tong Guangshan Zhu Zhi Zheng 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,12:0

16Toxic Effects of Four Commonly-used Agrochemicals on Arma chinensis and Picromerus lewisi显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the toxic effects of four different agrochemicals on Arma chinensis and Picromerus lewisi. Cypermethrin·phoxim,imidacloprid and fenvalerate had higher toxic effects on A. chinensis and P. lewisi. After the application of the agrochemicals,the released stink bugs could not well survive and propagate. Though the herbicide( glyphosate ammonium) had no direct toxic effects on A. chinensis and P. lewisi,their survival and propagation were affected after the application of the herbicide into natural environment. 17M-LFM:a multi-level fusion modeling method for shape−performance integrated digital twin of complex structure显示文摘As a virtual representation of a specific physical asset,the digital twin has great potential for realizing the life cycle maintenance management of a dynamic system.Nevertheless,the dynamic stress concentration is generated since the state of the dynamic system changes over time.This generation of dynamic stress concentration has hindered the exploitation of the digital twin to reflect the dynamic behaviors of systems in practical engineering applications.In this context,this paper is interested in achieving real-time performance prediction of dynamic systems by developing a new digital twin framework that includes simulation data,measuring data,multi-level fusion modeling(M-LFM),visualization techniques,and fatigue analysis.To leverage its capacity,the M-LFM method combines the advantages of different surrogate models and integrates simulation and measured data,which can improve the prediction accuracy of dynamic stress concentration.A telescopic boom crane is used as an example to verify the proposed framework for stress prediction and fatigue analysis of the complex dynamic system.The results show that the M-LFM method has better performance in the computational efficiency and calculation accuracy of the stress prediction compared with the polynomial response surface method and the kriging method.In other words,the proposed framework can leverage the advantages of digital twins in a dynamic system:damage monitoring,safety assessment,and other aspects and then promote the development of digital twins in industrial fields.Xiwang HE Xiaonan LAI Liangliang YANG Fan ZHANG Dongcai ZHOU Xueguan SONG Wei SUN 2022Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2022,17,4:0
18Minimising non-selective defects in ultrathin reduced graphene oxide membranes with graphene quantum dots for enhanced water and NaCl separation显示文摘Reduced graphene oxide(rGO)membranes have been intensively evaluated for desalination and ionic sieving applications,benefiting from their stable and well-confined interlayer channels.However,rGO membranes generally suffer from low permeability due to the high transport resistance resulting from the narrowed two-dimensional(2D)channels.Although high permeability can be realized by reducing membrane thickness,membrane selectivity normally declines because of the formation of nonselective defects,in particular pinholes.In this study,we demonstrate that the non-selective defects in ultrathin rGO membranes can be effectively minimised by a facile posttreatment via surfacedeposition of graphene quantum dots(GQDs).The resultant GQDs/rGO membranes obtained a good trade-off between water permeance(14 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1).MPa^(-1))and NaCl rejection(91%).This work provides new insights into the design of high quality ultrathin 2D laminar membranes for desalination,molecular/ionic sieving and other separation applications.Shi Yuan Yang Li Ruosang Qiu Yun Xia Cordelia Selomulya Xiwang Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,1:0
