1Effect of the layer orientation on mechanics and energy evolution characteristics of shales under uniaxial loading显示文摘The uniaxial compression tests were conducted on the cylindrical shale specimens with bedding plane inclined at 0° and 90° to the axial loading direction, respectively. Effect of the bedding orientation on the mechanical property and energy evolution characteristics of shales was revealed. The failure mechanisms of the specimens with layers in 0° orientation showed splitting failure along weak bedding, while the specimens with layers in 90° orientation were failed by shearing sliding. The values of compressive strength, elastic modulus and shear modulus of samples at 0° were higher than those of samples at 90°and there was little difference of Poisson's ratio between samples at 0° and 90°. The analysis of the stress–strain energy and acoustic emission(AE) energy indicated that the growth rate of absorbed energy density and elastic energy density at 0° was significantly faster than that at 90°, hence their final values at 0°were relatively larger than the latter. Moreover, higher energy release was observed for specimens at 0°.The energy release and rapid growth of energy dissipation also appeared more early at 0°. The stress ratio63% was a critical point of energy distribution at which differences started to arise between samples at 0°and 90°. These results indicated that the failure of shale at 0° was more violent and devastative than the failure of shale at 90°.Hou Peng Gao Feng Yang Yugui Zhang Xiangxiang Zhang Zhizhen 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,5:9
2Follicular hyperandrogenism and insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome patients with normal circulating testosterone levels显示文摘Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is a common reproductive disease with high heterogeneity. The role of excess androgen in PCOS etiology remains disputed, since around 20%-50% of PCOS women do not display hyperandrogenemia. The microenvironment of the ovary critically influences follicular development. In the present study, we assessed the role of androgen in PCOS by investigating whether excessive follicular fluid androgen was present in PCOS patients with normal serum androgen levels and influenced by follicular fluid insulin resistance(IR).Follicular fluid samples of 105 women with PCOS and 105 controls were collected. Levels of steroid hormones, glucose and insulin in the follicular fluid were examined and compared with data from serum biochemistry tests. We found that 64.9%(63/97) of PCOS patients with normal serum androgen levels displayed abnormally high follicular fluid androgen level. The follicular fluid androgen level was positively correlated with follicular fluid IR within a certain range and follicular fluid estrogen-to-testosterone(E2/T) ratio was significantly reduced in these patients. These results indicated that there existed a subgroup of PCOS patients who displayed excessive follicular fluid androgen and IR despite their normal circulating testosterone(T) levels. Our study highlights the importance of ovary hyperandrogenism and IR in the etiology of PCOS.Andi Li Lu Zhang Jiajia Jiang Nan Yang Ying Liu Lingbo Cai Yugui Cui Feiyang Diao Xiao Han Jiayin Liu Yujie Sun 2018The Journal of Biomedical Research2018,32,3:2

9Weakened interlayer coupling in two-dimensional MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations显示文摘The screw dislocations are intriguing defects that are often observed in natural and artificial materials. The dislocation spirals break the reflection and inversion symmetries of the lattices and modify the interlayer coupling in layer-structured materials, inducing additional complexity in layer stacking and thus novel properties in materials. Here, we report on the interlayer coupling of two-dimensional (2D) MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations by atomic force microscopy (AFM), Raman spectra and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. By controlling the supersaturation conditions, 2D MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations are grown on amorphous SiO2 substrates by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). AFM measurements reveal that the interlayer spacing in such 2D MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocation is slightly widened with respect to the normal AA- or AB-stacked ones due to the presence of the screw dislocations. Raman and PL spectra show that the interlayer coupling is weaker and thus the band gap is wider than that in the normal AA- or AB-stacked ones. Our work demonstrates that the interlayer coupling of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) flakes can be tuned by the induction of screw dislocations, which is very helpful for developing novel catalysts and electronic devices.Xiangzhuo Wang Huixia Yang Rong Yang Qinsheng Wang Jingchuan Zheng Lu Qiao Xianglin Peng Yongkai Li Dongyun Chen Xiaolu Xiong Junxi Duan Guangyu Zhang Jie Ma Junfeng Han Wende Xiao Yugui Yao 2019Nano Research2019,12,8:1

16A novel long-term intravenous combined with local treatment with human amnion-derived mesenchymal stem cells for a multidisciplinary rescued uremic calciphylaxis patient and the underlying mechanism显示文摘Calciphylaxis is a rare disease characterized histologically by microvessel calcification and microthrombosis, with high mortality and no proven therapy. Here,we reported a severe uremic calciphylaxis patient with progressive skin ischemia, large areas of painful malodorous ulcers, and mummified legs.Because of the worsening symptoms and signs refractory to conventional therapies, treatment with human amnion-derived mesenchymal stem cells(hAMSCs)was approved.Preclinical release inspections of hAMSCs,efficacy, and safety assessment, including cytokine secretory ability, immunocompetence, tumorigenicity, and genetics analysis in vitro, were introduced. We further performed acute and long-term hAMSC toxicity evaluations in C57BL/6 mice and rats, abnormal immune response tests in C57BL/6 mice, and tumorigenicity tests in neonatal Balbc-nu nude mice. After the preclinical research, the patient was treated with hAMSCs by intravenous and local intramuscular injection and external supernatant application to the ulcers. When followed up to 15 months, the blood-based markers of bone and mineral metabolism improved, with skin soft tissue regeneration and a more favorable profile of peripheral blood mononuclear cells.Skin biopsy after 1-month treatment showed vascular regeneration with mature noncalcified vessels within the dermis, and 20 months later, the re-epithelialization restored the integrity of the damaged site.No infusion or local treatment-related adverse events occurred. Thus, this novel long-term intravenous combined with local treatment with hAMSCs warrants further investigation as a potential regenerative treatment for uremic calciphylaxis due to effects of inhibiting vascular calcification, stimulating angiogenesis and myogenesis,anti-inflammatory and immune modulation,multidifferentiation,re-epithelialization,and restoration of integrity.Lianju Qin Jing Zhang Yujie Xiao Kang Liu Yugui Cui Fangyan Xu Wenkai Ren Yanggang Yuan Chunyan Jiang Song Ning Xiaoxue Ye Ming Zeng Hanyang Qian Anning Bian Fan Li Guang Yang Shaowen Tang Zhihong Zhang Juncheng Dai Jing Guo Qiang Wang Bin Sun Yifei Ge Chun Ouyang Xueqiang Xu Jing Wang Yaoyu Huang Hongqing Cui Jing Zhou Meilian Wang Zhonglan Su Yan Lu Di Wu Jingping Shi Wei Liu Li Dong Yinbing Pan Baiqiao Zhao Ying Cui Xueyan Gao Zhanhui Gao Xiang Ma Aiqin Chen Jie Wang Meng Cao Qian Cui Li Chen Feng Chen Youjia Yu Qiang Ji Zhiwei Zhang Mufeng Gu Xiaojun Zhuang Xiaolin Lv Hui Wang Yanyan Pan Ling Wang Xianrong Xu Jing Zhao Xiuqin Wang Cuiping Liu Ningxia Liang Changying Xing Jiayin Liu Ningning Wang 2022Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2022,14,2:1
17Contact modeling and prediction-based routing in sparse mobile networks显示文摘Mobile ad-hoc networks(MANETs)provide highly robust and self-configuring network capacity required in many critical applications, such as battlefields, disaster relief, and wild life tracking. In this paper,we focus on efficient message forwarding in sparse MANETs,which suffers from frequent and long-duration partitions.Asynchronous contacts become the basic way of communication in such kind of network instead of data links in traditional ad-hoc networks.Current approaches are primarily based on estimation with pure probability calculation.Stochastic forwarding decisions from statistic results can lead to disastrous routing performance when wrong choices are made. This paper introduces a new routing protocol, based on contact modeling and contact prediction,to address the problem. Our contact model focuses on the periodic contact pattern of nodes with actual inter-contact time involved,in order to get an accurate realization of network cooperation and connectivity status. The corresponding contact prediction algorithm makes use of both statistic and time sequence information of contacts and allows choosing the relay that has the earliest contact to the destination, which results in low average latency.Simulation is used to compare the routing performance of our algorithm with three other categories of forwarding algorithm proposed already. The results demonstrate that our scheme is more efficient in both data delivery and energy consumption than previously proposed schemes.GUO Yang QU Yugui BAI Ronggang ZHAO Baohua 2007Frontiers of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in China2007,2,3:0
18Molecular dynamics study on the effect of temperature on HCP→FCC phase transition of magnesium alloy显示文摘To explore the effect of temperature on the phase transformation of HCP→FCC during compression, the uniaxial compression process of AZ31 magnesium alloy was simulated by the molecular dynamics method, and the changes of crystal structure and dislocation evolution were observed. The effects of temperature on mechanical properties, crystal structure, and dislocation evolution of magnesium alloy during compression were analyzed. It is concluded that some of the Shockley partial dislocation is related to FCC stacking faults. With the help of TEM characterization, the correctness of the correlation between some of the dislocations and FCC stacking faults is verified. Through the combination of simulation and experiment, this paper provides an idea for the in-depth study of the solid-phase transformation of magnesium alloys and provides reference and guidance for the design of magnesium alloys with good plasticity and formability at room temperature.Chun Xue Shuai Li Zhibing Chu Qianhua Yang Yugui Li Lifeng Ma Leifeng Tuo 2023Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,10:0
