| 1 | Decoding Cortical Glial Cell Development显示文摘Mouse cortical radial glial cells(RGCs)are primary neural stem cells that give rise to cortical oligodendrocytes,astrocytes,and olfactory bulb(OB)GABAergic interneurons in late embryogenesis.There are fundamental gaps in understanding how these diverse cell subtypes are generated.Here,by combining single-cell RNA-Seq with intersectional lineage analyses,we show that beginning at around E16.5,neocortical RGCs start to generate ASCL1^(+)EGFR^(+)apical multipotent intermediate progenitors(MIPCs),which then differentiate into basal MIPCs that express ASCL1,EGFR,OLIG2,and MKI67.These basal MIPCs undergo several rounds of divisions to generate most of the cortical oligodendrocytes and astrocytes and a subpopulation of OB interneurons.Finally,single-cell ATAC-Seq supported our model for the genetic logic underlying the specification and differentiation of cortical glial cells and OB interneurons.Taken together,this work reveals the process of cortical radial glial cell lineage progression and the developmental origins of cortical astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. | Xiaosu Li Guoping Liu Lin Yang Zhenmeiyu Li Zhuangzhi Zhang Zhejun Xu Yuqun Cai Heng Du Zihao Su Ziwu Wang Yangyang Duan Haotian Chen Zicong Shang Yan You Qi Zhang Miao He Bin Chen Zhengang Yang | 2021 | Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,4: | 2 |
| 2 | Population transcriptomics reveals a potentially positive role of expression diversity in adaptation显示文摘While it is widely accepted that genetic diversity determines the potential of adaptation,the role that gene expression variation plays in adaptation remains poorly known.Here we show that gene expression diversity could have played a positive role in the adaptation of Miscanthus lutarioriparius.RNA-seq was conducted for 80 individuals of the species,with half planted in the energy crop domestication site and the other half planted in the control site near native habitats.A leaf reference transcriptome consisting of 18,503 high-quality transcripts was obtained using a pipeline developed for de novo assembling with population RNA-seq data.The population structure and genetic diversity of M.lutarioriparius were estimated based on 30,609 genic single nucleotide polymorphisms.Population expression(Ep) and expression diversity(Ed)were defined to measure the average level and the magnitude of variation of a gene expression in the population,respectively.It was found that expression diversity increased while genetic Resediversity decreased after the species was transplanted from the native habitats to the harsh domestication site,especially for genes involved in abiotic stress resistance,histone methylation,and biomass synthesis under water limitation.The increased expression diversity could have enriched phenotypic variation directly subject to selections in the new environment. | Qin Xu Shilai Xing Caiyun Zhu Wei Liu Yangyang Fan Qian Wang Zhihong Song Wenhui Yang Fan Luo Fei Shang Lifang Kang Wenli Chen Juan Yan Jianqiang Li Tao Sang | 2015 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2015,57,3: | 1 |
| 3 | Simple self-assembly of 3D laminated CuO/SnO2 hybrid for the detection of triethylamine显示文摘Tin dioxide is important gas sensor material and has wide applications in the detection of toxic gases and volatile organic compounds.Here,we synthesized a 3D laminated structural CuO/SnO2 material possessing p-n heterostructures.The morphology and structure were characterized by XRD,SEM,TEM and XPS techniques and the sensing properties were investigated for the detection of triethylamine(TEA).The results indicate that 3D laminated CuO/SnO2 material,assembled by lamellae consisting of ordered nanoparticles,exhibit an enhanced sensing performance compared with SnO2,and notably,CuO/SnO2 with size less than 1μm has obvious high selectivity in the detection of 100 ppm TEA.Particularly,it has a high response and stability to 1 and 5 ppm TEA(S is 8 and 33),and that is higher than SnO2 material,suggesting 3D laminated CuO/SnO2 is an effective ca ndidate material served as sensor platform to detect low-concentration amines. | Yangyang Shang Wenqiong Shi Ruihua Zhao Md.Maruf Ahmed Jinping Li Jianping Du | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8: | 1 |

| 5 | Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of the GhIQD gene family in upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)显示文摘Background:Calmodulin(CaM)is one of the most important Ca^(2+)signaling receptors because it regulates diverse physiological and biochemical reactions in plants.CaM functions by interacting with CaM-binding proteins(CaMBPs)to modulate Ca^(2+)signaling.IQ domain(IQD)proteins are plant-specific CaMBPs that bind to CaM by their specific CaM binding sites.Results:In this study,we identified 102 GhIQD genes in the Gossypium hirsutum L.genome.The GhIQD gene family was classified into four clusters(Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,andⅣ),and we then mapped the GhIQD genes to the G.hirsutum L.chromosomes.Moreover,we found that 100 of the 102 GhIQD genes resulted from segmental duplication events,indicating that segmental duplication is the main force driving GhIQD gene expansion.Gene expression pattern analysis showed that a total of 89 GhIQD genes expressed in the elongation stage and second cell wall biosynthesis stage of the fiber cells,suggesting that GhIQD genes may contribute to fiber cell development in cotton.In addition,we found that 20 selected GhIQD genes were highly expressed in various tissues.Exogenous application of MeJA significantly enhanced the expression levels of GhIQD genes.Conclusions:Our study shows that GhIQD genes are involved in fiber cell development in cotton and are also widely induced by MeJA.Thw results provide bases to systematically characterize the evolution and biological functions of GhIQD genes,as well as clues to breed better cotton varieties in the future. | DOU Lingling LV Limin KANG Yangyang TIAN Ruijie HUANG Deqing LI Jiayin LI Siyi LIU Fengping CAO Lingyan JIN Yuhua LIU Yang LI Huaizhu WANG Wenbo PANG Chaoyou SHANG Haihong ZOU Changsong SONG Guoli XIAO Guanghui | 2021 | Journal of Cotton Research2021,4,1: | 0 |
| 6 | Morphology evolution of ZnO by controlling solvent and electrochemical sensing of hexagonal nanotablets toward amines显示文摘Organic amines are important solvent and raw material in laboratory and industry,as well as releasing from cigarette smoke.It is significant to detect low-concentration amines for environment and public health.Here we reported that as-synthesized zinc oxide is an effective electrode material of electrochemical sensor for the detection of amines.The characterization results reveal that the ZnO morphologies experienced a change from hexagonal bowl-like microparticles,cones,prisms to nanoparticles by adjusting the reaction time,temperature,solvents and additives.Interestingly,ZnO material possessing hexagonal shapes and different sizes exhibits distinct electrochemical response in various amines solution,suggesting that there is a better dependent relationship between different morphological ZnO and amines detection.Particularly,regular hexagonal ZnO nanotablets exhibit a detectable electrochemical response and selectivity to ammonia,implying it can be serve as electrode material for highly effective detection of organic amines. | Md.Maruf Ahmed Ruihua Zhao Bayram Hayytov Yangyang Shang Jinping Li Jianping Du | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8: | 0 |
