| 1 | LAMOST Experiment for Galactic Understanding and Exploration (LEGUE)——The survey's science plan显示文摘We describe the current plans for a spectroscopic survey of millions of stars in the Milky Way galaxy using the Guo Shou Jing Telescope (GSJT, formerly called the Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope - LAMOST). The survey will obtain spectra for 2.5 million stars brighter than r < 19 during dark/grey time, and 5 million stars brighter than r < 17 or J < 16 on nights that are moonlit or have low transparency. The survey will begin in the fall of 2012, and will run for at least four years. The telescope's design constrains the optimal declination range for observations to 10 < δ < 50 , and site conditions lead to an emphasis on stars in the direction of the Galactic anticenter. The survey is divided into three parts with different target selection strategies: disk, anticenter, and spheroid. The resulting dataset will be used to study the merger history of the Milky Way, the substructure and evolution of the disks, the nature of the first generation of stars through identification of the lowest metallicity stars, and star formation through study of open clusters and OB associations. | 2 | VNF-FG design and VNF placement for 5G mobile networks显示文摘Network function virtualization(NFV) is envisioned as one of the critical technologies in 5thGeneration(5G) mobile networks. This paper investigates the virtual network function forwarding graph(VNFFG) design and virtual network function(VNF) placement for 5G mobile networks. We first propose a two-step method composed of flow designing and flow combining for generating VNF-FGs according to network service requests. For mapping VNFs in the generated VNF-FG to physical resources, we then modify the hybrid NFV environment with introducing more types of physical nodes and mapping modes for the sake of completeness and practicality, and formulate the VNF placement optimization problem for achieving lower bandwidth consumption and lower maximum link utilization simultaneously. To resolve this problem, four genetic algorithms are proposed on the basis of the frameworks of two existing algorithms(multiple objective genetic algorithm and improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm). Simulation results show that Greedy-NSGA-II achieves the best performance among our four algorithms. Compared with three non-genetic algorithms(random, backtracking mapping and service chains deployment with affiliation-aware), Greedy-NSGA-II reduces 97.04%, 87.76% and88.42% of the average total bandwidth consumption, respectively, and achieves only 13.81%, 25.04% and 25.41%of the average maximum link utilization, respectively. | 7 | Highly efficient removal of perfluorooctanoic acid from aqueous solution by H2O2-enhanced electrocoagulation-electroflotation technique显示文摘Electrocoagulation(EC)technique was used to investigate the removal performance of aqueous perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)with relatively high concentration as simulating the wastewater from organic fluorine industry.A comparison was done with the similar amount of coagulant between EC and chemical coagulation process.PFOA removal obtained was higher with EC process,especially for Fe anode.Several factors were studied to optimize the EC process.At the optimal operating parameters including 37.5 mA/cm^2 of current density,initial pH 3.77,and 180 rpm of mixing speed,93%of PFOA could be removed with 100 mg/L of initial concentration after 90-min electrolysis.Furthermore,the remove efficiency could be obviously improved by H2O2 intermittent addition,which removed more than 99%of PFOA within 40-min EC.It could be attributed to that H2O2 facilitated the oxidative transformation from ferrous to ferric ion.In addition,the adsorptive removal of aqueous PFOA on Fe flocs during EC was also verified by fourier transform infrared spectra. | Bo Yang Yanni Han Yunpan Deng Yingying Li Qiongfang Zhuo Jinhua Wu | 2016 | Emerging Contaminants2016,2,1: | 2 |
| 8 | An algorithm for preferential selection of spectroscopic targets in LEGUE显示文摘We describe a general target selection algorithm that is applicable to any survey in which the number of available candidates is much larger than the number of objects to be observed. This routine aims to achieve a balance between a smoothly- varying, well-understood selection function and the desire to preferentially select certain types of targets. Some target-selection examples are shown that illustrate different possibilities of emphasis functions. Although it is generally applicable, the algorithm was developed specifically for the LAMOST Experiment for Galactic Understanding and Exploration (LEGUE) survey that will be carried out using the Chinese Guo Shou Jing Telescope. In particular, this algorithm was designed for the portion of LEGUE targeting the Galactic halo, in which we attempt to balance a variety of science goals that require stars at fainter magnitudes than can be completely sampled by LAMOST. | 10 | Adjustment of precipitation measurements using Total Rain weighing Sensor(TRwS)gauges in the cryospheric hydrometeorology observation(CHOICE)system of the Qilian Mountains,Northwest China显示文摘Precipitation is one of the most important indicators of climate data,but there are many errors in precipitation measurements due to the influence of climatic conditions,especially those of solid precipitation in alpine mountains and at high latitude areas.The measured amount of precipitation in those areas is frequently less than the actual amount of precipitation.To understand the impact of climatic conditions on precipitation measurements in the mountainous areas of Northwest China and the applicability of different gauges in alpine mountains,we established a cryospheric hydrometeorology observation(CHOICE)system in 2008 in the Qilian Mountains,which consists of six automated observation stations located between 2960 and 4800 m a.s.l.Total Rain weighing Sensor(TRwS)gauges tested in the World Meteorological Organization-Solid Precipitation Intercomparison Experiment(WMO-SPICE)were used at observation stations with the CHOICE system.To study the influence of climatic conditions on different types of precipitation measured by the TRwS gauges,we conducted an intercomparison experiment of precipitation at Hulu-1 station that was one of the stations in the CHOICE system.Moreover,we tested the application of transfer functions recommended by the WMO-SPICE at this station using the measurement data from a TRwS gauge from August 2016 to December 2020 and computed new coefficients for the same transfer functions that were more appropriate for the dataset from Hulu-1 station.The new coefficients were used to correct the precipitation measurements of other stations in the CHOICE system.Results showed that the new parameters fitted to the local dataset had better correction results than the original parameters.The environmental conditions of Hulu-1 station were very different from those of observation stations that provided datasets to create the transfer functions.Thus,root-mean-square error(RMSE)of solid and mixed precipitation corrected by the original parameters increased significantly by the averages of 0.135(353%)and 0.072 mm(111%),respectively.RMSE values of liquid,solid and mixed precipitation measurements corrected by the new parameters decreased by 6%,20% and 13%,respectively.In addition,the new parameters were suitable for correcting precipitation at other five stations in the CHOICE system.The relative precipitation(RP)increment of different types of precipitation increased with rising altitude.The average RP increment value of snowfall at six stations was the highest,reaching 7%,while that of rainfall was the lowest,covering 3%.Our results confirmed that the new parameters could be used to correct precipitation measurements of the CHOICE system. | ZHAO Yanni CHEN Rensheng HAN Chuntan WANG Lei | 2022 | Journal of Arid Land2022,14,3: | 1 |

| 13 | An Adaptive User Service Deployment Strategy for Mobile Edge Computing显示文摘Mobile edge computing(MEC) is a cloud server running at the edge of a mobile network, which can effectively reduce network communication delay. However, due to the numerous edge servers and devices in the MEC, there may be multiple servers and devices that can provide services to the same user simultaneously. This paper proposes a userside adaptive user service deployment algorithm ASD(Adaptive Service Deployment) based on reinforcement learning algorithms. Without relying on complex system information, it can master only a few tasks and users. In the case of attributes, perform effective service deployment decisions, analyze and redefine the key parameters of existing algorithms, and dynamically adjust strategies according to task types and available node types to optimize user experience delay. Experiments show that the ASD algorithm can implement user-side decision-making for service deployment. | 15 | An Investigation Report on Production Conditions of Sugarcane in Guangxi in 2016显示文摘To predict and assess production conditions of sugarcane in Guangxi in 2016,by using methods of field survey and data collection,the seedling situation,breed structure,planting area,planting period,plant diseases and insect pests of sugarcane in six major sugarcane producing cities of Guangxi were surveyed. The results show that the overall situation of sugarcane seedlings in Guangxi in 2016 became slightly worse than that in 2015,but there were enough good sugarcane seedlings in 2016. The dead heart rate of sugarcane decreased in most sugarcane regions from 2015 to 2016,that is,the comprehensive control of borers gave initial results; the smut infection rate of sugarcane rose from 2015 to 2016 and tended to increase. The situation of decrease in the planting area of sugarcane in three consecutive years was controlled,and the planting area of sugarcane increased slightly from 2015 to 2016. Due to the construction of ' double high' bases,the breed variety of sugarcane in Guangxi was improved further in 2016. | 17 | Cytokine storm promoting T cell exhaustion in severe COVID-19 revealed by single cell sequencing data analysis显示文摘Background:Evidence has suggested that cytokine storms may be associated with T cell exhaustion(TEX)in COVID-19.However,the interaction mechanism between cytokine storms and TEX remains unclear.Methods:With the aim of dissecting the molecular relationship of cytokine storms and TEX through single-cell RNA sequencing data analysis,we identified 14 cell types from bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of COVID-19 patients and healthy people.We observed a novel subset of severely exhausted CD8 T cells(Exh T_CD8)that co-expressed multiple inhibitory receptors,and two macrophage subclasses that were the main source of cytokine storms in bronchoalveolar.Results:Correlation analysis between cytokine storm level and TEX level suggested that cytokine storms likely promoted TEX in severe COVID-19.Cell–cell communication analysis indicated that cytokines(e.g.CXCL10,CXCL11,CXCL2,CCL2,and CCL3)released by macrophages acted as ligands and significantly interacted with inhibitory receptors(e.g.CXCR3,DPP4,CCR1,CCR2,and CCR5)expressed by Exh T_CD8.These interactions formed the cytokine–receptor axes,which were also verified to be significantly correlated with cytokine storms and TEX in lung squamous cell carcinoma.Conclusions:Cytokine storms may promote TEX through cytokine-receptor axes and be associated with poor prognosis in COVID19.Blocking cytokine-receptor axes may reverse TEX.Our finding provides novel insights into TEX in COVID-19 and new clues for cytokine-targeted immunotherapy development. | Minglei Yang Chenghao Lin Yanni Wang Kang Chen Yutong Han Haiyue Zhang Weizhong Li | 2022 | Precision Clinical Medicine2022,5,2: | 0 |

| 19 | Formation and Bioactivity of SrTiO_3 Nanotubes on Titanium by Modified Anodization and Hydrothermal Treatment显示文摘SrTiO_3 nanotube films with good adhesion strengths to Ti substrates were fabricated by using a hybrid approach with a modified anodization and a hydrothermal treatment(HT). The effect of Sr^(2+) concentration in HT solutions on the morphologies and phase components of the nanotubes were investigated,the SrTiO_3 nanotubes formation mechanism was explored, and the adhesion strengths, hydrophilicity and apatite-forming ability of the SrTiO_3 nanotubes were also evaluated. The results demonstrated that with increasing the incorporation of Sr^(2+) into the nanotubes, no obvious changes of the lengths and outer diameters of the nanotubes were observed, but the wall thickness and the crystallinity of SrTiO_3 in the nanotubes increased. The accumulation of Sr at the inner tube wall indicated that the reaction of Sr^(2+) with TiO_2 mainly occurred in the vicinity of internal surfaces of the closely arranged nanotubes.
