2Evaluating Suitability of Multiple Precipitation Products for the Lancang River Basin显示文摘Global reanalysis precipitation products could provide valuable meteorological information for flow forecasting in poorly gauged areas, helping to overcome a long-standing challenge in the field. But not all data sources are suitable for all regions or perform the same way in hydrological modeling, so it is essential to test the suitability of precipitation products before applying them. In this study, five widely used global high-resolution precipitation products—Asian Precipitation Highly Resolved Observational Data Integration Towards Evaluation of Water Resources(APHRODITE), National Centers for Environmental Prediction Climate Forecast System Reanalysis(NCEP-CFSR), Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Station Data(CHIRPS), China Gauge-based Daily Precipitation Analysis developed by China Meteorological Administration(CMA) and Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project based on the NASA Modern-Era Retrospective Analysis for Research and Applications(AgMERRA)—were evaluated using statistical methods and a hydrological approach for their suitability for the Lancang River Basin. The results indicated that APHRODITE, CMA, AgMERRA and CHIRPS were more accurate precipitation indicators than NCEP-CFSR in terms of the multiyear average and seasonal spatial distribution pattern, all of the CHIRPS, Ag MERRA and APHRODITE perform better than CMA and NCEP-CFSR at the small, medium and high precipitation intensities ranges in subbasin11 and sunbabsin46. All five products performed better in subbasin46(a low-altitude region) than in subbasin11(a high-altitude region) on the daily and monthly scales. In addition to NCEP-CFSR, the other four products all presented encouraging potential for streamflow simulation at daily(Yunjinghong) and monthly(Yunjinghong, Jiuzhou and Gajiu) scale. Hydrological simulations forced with APHRODITE were the best of the five for the Yunjinghong station in capturing daily and monthly measured streamflow. 3Unraveling the morphological evolution mechanism of solid sulfur species in lithium-sulfur batteries with operando light microscopy显示文摘Solid-liquid phase conversion between various sulfur species in lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries is a fundamental reaction of the sulfur cathode.Disclosing the morphological evolution of solid sulfur species upon cycling is of great significance to achieving high energy densities.However,an in-depth investigation of the internal reaction is still lacking.In this work,the evolution process of solid sulfur species on carbon substrates is systematically studied by using an operando light microscope combined with in situ electrochemical impedance spectra technology.The observation of phenomena such as bulk solid sulfur species can form and dissolve independently of the conductive substrates and the transformation of supercooled liquid sulfur to crystalline sulfur.Based on the phenomena mentioned above,a possible mechanism was proposed in which the dissolution reaction of solid sulfur species is a spatially free reaction that involves isotropic physical dissolution,diffusion of molecules,and finally the electrochemical reaction.Correspondingly,the formation of solid sulfur species tends to be a form of crystallization in a saturated solution rather than electrodeposition,as is commonly believed.Our findings offer new insights into the reaction of sulfur cathodes and provide new opportunities to design advanced sulfur cathodes for Li-S batteries.Jingqiang Zheng Chaohong Guan Huangxu Li Yangyang Xie Junxian Hu Kai Zhang Bo Hong Yanqing Lai Jie Li Zhian Zhang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:1
4Synthesis of a Kind of Temperature-responsive Cell Culture Surface for Corneal Sheet显示文摘In this study,acrylic acid(AA) and 4-azidoaniline were used to modify poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(NIPAAm) in order to fabricate temperature-responsive surface for corneal epithelia cell adhesion and detachment.First,NIPAAm was copolymerized with acrylic acid.Then,the copolymer was coupled with azidoaniline to synthesize AzPhPIA,derivative of p(NIPAAm-co-AA),which possesses both thermo-and photo-sensitivities.Second,the synthesized copolymer was characterized by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) and a CHN analyzer.The thermo-sensitivity was characterized by temperature reducing experiment,contact angle measurement and low critical solution temperature(LCST) testing.Third,the derivatized copolymer was immobilized by photolithography on a polystyrene plate,and then the surface characterization of AzPhPIA-coated polystyrene plate(PSt) was measured by electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis(ESCA).The thermo-sensitivity and cytocompatibility of the AzPhPIA-coated PSt were investigated by corneal epithelial cells culture.The results revealed that the AzPhPIA-coated PSt exhibited good cytocompatibility and cell detachability when temperature decreased.Yanqing Guan Zhibin Li Xin Wang Xiaoli Ni Aini Yang Junming Liu 2010Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,12:1
