1Numerical solution for dynamics of pneumatic DTH hammer system显示文摘The pneumatic down-the-hole(DTH) hammer is one of the efficient equipments used in medium hard to very hard rock drilling frield,and any change in its structure design affects all performance parameters of a pneuamtic DTH hammer directly.Yet,owing to the complexity of the dynamic interaction among the components in DTH hammer systems,until now it has been difficult to obtain reliable estimates of the design parameter affects.Thus providing an design parameter optimization and the layout of dynamics behavior of DTH hammer is of great importance.This paper documents the development and solution of a computational model for the dynamic response of a pneumatic DTH hammer.The model consists of rigid piston dynamics equation and chamber thermodynamics equations.The resulting model represented by a set of coupled nonlinear differential equations were computed in Visual C++ program.The developed solutions are used to perform a parametric study to illustrate the inffluence of the piston mass and supply pressure on the impact performance of DTH hammer system.QU Yegao,BU Changgen,LIU Baolin,Lian Yinjun(China University of Geosciences,Beijing 100083,China) 2009探矿工程(岩土钻掘工程)2009,36,S1:2

7Investigation on two-phase flow-induced vibrations of a piping structure with an elbow显示文摘The dynamic behaviors of a horizontal piping structure with an elbow due to the two-phase flow excitation are experimentally investigated.The effects of flow patterns and superficial velocities on the pressure pulsations and vibration responses are evaluated in detail.A strong partition coupling algorithm is used to calculate the flow-induced vibration(FIV)responses of the pipe,and the theoretical values agree well with the experimental results.It is found that the lateral and axial vibration responses of the bend pipe are related to the momentum flux of the two-phase flow,and the vibration amplitudes of the pipe increase with an increase in the liquid mass flux.The vertical vibration responses are strongly affected by the flow pattern,and the maximum response occurs in the transition region from the slug flow to the bubbly flow.Moreover,the standard deviation(STD)amplitudes of the pipe vibration in three directions increase with an increase in the gas flux for both the slug and bubbly flows.The blockage of liquid slugs at the elbow section is found to strengthen the vibration amplitude of the bend pipe,and the water-blocking phenomenon disappears as the superficial gas velocity increases.Heng SU Yegao QU Guoxu WANG Zhike PENG 2022Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,11:1

11Design and experiment of an adaptive dynamic vibration absorber with smart leaf springs显示文摘An adaptive dynamic vibration absorber(ADVA)is designed for lowfrequency vibration suppression.The leaf springs are applied as the tuning stiffness elements.The principle of variable stiffness is analyzed to obtain the effective range of the first natural frequency variation.A classic simply supported manipulator is selected as the controlled system.The coupled dynamic model of the manipulator-ADVA system is built to obtain the maximum damping efficiency and the vibration absorption capacity of the designed ADVA.An experimental platform is set up to verify the theoretical results.It is revealed that the ADVA can adjust the first natural frequency on a large scale by changing the curvature of the leaf springs.The amplitude of the manipulator is reduced obviously with the installation of the designed ADVA.Finally,based on the short-time Fourier transformation(STFT),a stepwise optimization algorithm is proposed to achieve a quick tuning of the natural frequency of the ADVA so that it can always coincide with the frequency of the prime structure.Through the above steps,the intelligent frequency tuning of the ADVA is realized with high vibration absorption performance in a wide frequency range.Xiangying GUO Yunan ZHU Yegao QU Dongxing CAO 2022Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,10:0
