| 1 | Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in chemotherapy-sensitive lymphoblastic lymphoma: treatment outcome and prognostic factor analysis显示文摘Objective: The study evaluated the effectiveness of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(AHSCT) in the treatment of lymphoblastic lymphoma(LL).Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data from 41 patients with chemotherapy-sensitive LL who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT) from December 1989 to December 2009 in a single institution.Results: HSCT was conducted as first-line consolidation therapy and salvage therapy in 36 and 5 patients, respectively. The median follow-up was 97.1 months(range, 24.6-173.1 months). The 5-year overall survival(OS) and event-free survival(EFS) rate were 64% and 47% for the initially treated patients, respectively, and were both 20% for the relapsed ones. | 2 | Soluble protein and acid phosphatase exuded by ectomycorrhizal fungi and seedlings in response to excessive Cu and Cd显示文摘Fungi and their symbionts can alleviate heavy metal stress by exuding soluble proteins and enzymes. This study examined the role of soluble protein and acid phosphatase (APase) exuded by Xerocomus chrysenteron, an ectomycorrhizal fungus, and the seedlings of its symbiont, Chinese pine (Pinus tabulaeformis), under conditions of excessive Cu and Cd. The growth type showed that this poorly studied ectomycorrhizal fungus was capable of tolerating high concentrations of Cu, and may be useful in phytoremediation. X. chrysenteron grew well at 80 mg/L Cu, and the EC50 for Cd was 17.82 mg/L. X. chrysenteron also showed enhanced exudation of soluble protein in both isolated and inoculated cultivations under the influence of Cu and Cd. Soluble protein exudation, however, differed under Cu and Cd stress in isolates. In mediums containing Cu, soluble protein exudation increased with concentration, but in mediums containing Cd the content of soluble protein increased to a comparable level at all concentrations. This study demonstrated that soluble protein was related to heavy metal tolerance, although the different ions played different roles. While APase activity in exudates of fungi and seedlings decreased under Cu and Cd stress in comparison to the control, the APase activity in seedlings was maintained by inoculation. | 3 | Determination of Heterotic Groups and Heterosis Analysis of Yield Performance in indica Rice显示文摘To compare the heterosis levels among various groups of parental lines used extensively in China, identify foundational heterotic groups in parental pools and understand the relationship between genetic distance and heterosis performance, 16 parental lines with extensive genetic variation were selected from various sub-groups, and 39 hybrid combinations were generated and evaluated in Fujian and Hainan Provinces of China. The main results were as follows:(1) The 16 parental lines can be grouped into 7 sub-groups consisting of 1 maintainer sub-group and 6 restorer sub-groups;(2) Mean grain yield of the restorer lines was higher than that of the maintainer lines, and mean yield of parental lines was higher than that of the hybrid combinations;(3) The two best heterotic patterns were II-32A × G5 and II-32A × G6, moreover, the order of restorer sub-groups according to grain yield, from the highest to lowest, was G7, G6, G5, G4, G3 and G2; High specific combining ability values were observed for combinations of II-32A × G5, II-32A × G6 and Tianfeng A × G7;(4) Hybrid combinations derived from II-32A crossed with 13 restorer lines had higher yield trait values(mid-parent heterosis, better-parent heterosis, standard heterosis over check and specific combining ability) than any other combinations;(5) Genetic distance was positively correlated with panicle number, grain length and length-to-width ratio(P < 0.05) and negatively correlated with grain width, grain yield, seed-setting rate, as well as mid-parent heterosis, standard heterosis over check, and specific combining ability for grain yield(P < 0.01). | 4 | Transcript Profiling Reveals Abscisic Acid,Salicylic Acid and Jasmonic-Isoleucine Pathways Involved in High Regenerative Capacities of Immature Embryos Compared with Mature Seeds in japonica Rice显示文摘Induced pluripotent cell mass plays a role in genetic transformation mediated by Agrobacterium. Mature seeds are more recalcitrant to the induction of suitable calli than immature embryos in rice, but the exact molecular mechanisms involved remain elusive. In this study, the morphological structure of calli induced from mature seeds and immature embryos were observed under a scanning electron microscope using a paraffin embedded technique. Meanwhile, a total of 2 173 upand down-regulated genes were identified in calli induced from mature seeds and immature embryos by RNA-seq technique and furtherly confirmed by quantitative real-time PCR. The results revealed the remarkable morphological differences in calli induced from mature seeds and immature embryos, and plant hormone signal transduction and hormone biosynthesis pathways, such as abscisic acid, salicylic acid and jasmonic-isoleucine, were found to play roles in somatic embryogenesis. | 5 | Research on Financial Support for the New Types of Agricultural Management Entities from the Perspective of the Rural Revitalization Strategy显示文摘Both the escape from the predicament of traditional financial support in rural areas and the cultivation of new types of agricultural management entities underlie,at a micro level,the improvement of a new-type of agricultural management system,and offer an important guarantee for the implementation of a rural revitalization strategy.In reference to the demands of carrying out reform,activating factors,invigorating entities and stimulating markets during the implementation of this rural revitalization strategy,we are applying a financing preference theory that infers and analyzes the excessive preference for new-type agricultural management entities(family farms,specialized farmer cooperatives,specialized large family farms,and modern agricultural enterprises)regarding government subsidies(quasi-equity financing).Our analysis has identified crucial factors in the issue and predicts that government subsidies(quasi-equity financing)will crowd out financial support funding(quasi-debt financing),and we offer empirical proof obtained through statistical modeling.As our results indicate,financing costs,free cash flows,and the perceived income adequacy(PIA)of new-type agricultural management entities all have significant influence upon decision-making for debt financing by such entities.Therefore,with the concrete contents of the formulation of policies concerning the financial support for rural agricultural strategy,one not only needs to consider the further decrease of financing costs,but also should take into account both the designing of cash flow mechanism in the process of paying both principal and interest,and the improvement of bankruptcy rules for agricultural management entities to accelerate the transformation of family farms,specialized farmer cooperatives,and specialized large family farms,towards modern agricultural enterprises.Meanwhile,upgrades to the supply chains of the agriculture industry,improvements to the construction of the rural financial information system,building an accounting system that meets the requirements of the rural revitalization strategy,and giving full play to the policies for financial support,which assume an important role in activating factors and markets during the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,are also anticipated. | Wang Rui Zhou Yingheng Huang Deyuan(翻译) | 2020 | Contemporary Social Sciences2020,5,6: | 1 |
