| 1 | Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in chemotherapy-sensitive lymphoblastic lymphoma: treatment outcome and prognostic factor analysis显示文摘Objective: The study evaluated the effectiveness of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(AHSCT) in the treatment of lymphoblastic lymphoma(LL).Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data from 41 patients with chemotherapy-sensitive LL who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT) from December 1989 to December 2009 in a single institution.Results: HSCT was conducted as first-line consolidation therapy and salvage therapy in 36 and 5 patients, respectively. The median follow-up was 97.1 months(range, 24.6-173.1 months). The 5-year overall survival(OS) and event-free survival(EFS) rate were 64% and 47% for the initially treated patients, respectively, and were both 20% for the relapsed ones. | 2 | A high strength pH responsive supramolecular copolymer hydrogel显示文摘Constructing high strength pH sensitive supramolecular polymer hydrogel remains very challenging due to the unavoidable network swelling caused by ionization of acid or basic groups at a specified pH.In this work,we proposed a simple and very convenient approach to fabricate high strength pH responsive supramolecular polymer(SP) hydrogels by one-pot copolymerization of N-acryloyl glycinamide(NAGA) and 2-vinyl-4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine(VDT),two feature hydrogen bonding monomers.In these PNAGA-PVDT SP hydrogels obtained,the hydrogen bonding of NAGA was shown to play a dominant role in reinforcing strength,while the hydrogen bonding of diaminotriazine served as a pH sensitive moiety.At pH 3,the mechanical properties of PNAGA-PVDT hydrogels decreased to a different extent due to the breakup of hydrogen bonding;in contrast,the hydrogel resumed the original strength while pH was raised to 7.4 because of reconstruction of hydrogen bonding.Over the selected pH range,the PNAGA-PVDT hydrogels exhibited up to 1.25 MPa tensile strength,845% breaking strain,69 kPa Young's modulus and 21 MPa compressive strength.This novel high strength pH-responsive SP hydrogels may find applications in biomedical and industrial fields. | WANG Qing ZHANG YinYu DAI XiYang SHI XiaoHuan LIU WenGuang | 2017 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2017,60,1: | 6 |
| 3 | Influence of temperature on the microstructure of V_2O_5 film prepared by DC magnetron sputtering显示文摘V2O5 films were prepared on silicon wafers by DC magnetron sputtering and post-annealing under various conditions. The influence of depositing and post-annealing temperatures on microstructure of V2O5 films was studied by XRD and Raman scattering measurements. The results reveal that sputtered V2O5 films show preferred growth orientation along (001) planes and the c-axis is perpendicular to the silicon substrate surface. It is interesting to find that both the V2O5 film deposited at temperature of 511 ℃ and the one annealed at 500 ℃ exhibit desirable layer-type structure of orthorhombic symmetry. | 5 | Response of broomcorn millet(Panicum miliaceum L.)genotypes from semiarid regions of China to salt stress显示文摘Salt tolerance of crops is becoming more and more important, owing to the constant increase of salinity in arid and semi-arid regions. Broomcorn millet(Panicum miliaceum L.),generally considered tolerant to salinity, can be an alternative crop for salt affected areas.To assess genotypic variation for vegetative-stage salinity tolerance, 195 broomcorn millet accessions from a core collection were evaluated for germination percentage, shoot length,and root length during germination in 8 m L of deionized water(control) or 8 m L of a120 mmol L-1salt solution(treatment). Six genotypes with different levels of salt tolerance were selected based on the growth parameters and ion concentrations in plant at the seedling stage and used for confirmation of the initial salinity response. Substantial variation for salinity tolerance was found on the basis of salt damage index [(germination percentage under control- germination percentage under salinity) / germination percentage under control × 100, SDI] and 39 accessions exhibited strong salt tolerance with SDI lower than 20%. The salt tolerance performance of the genotypes was generally consistent across experiments. In the seedling growth study, seedling number, root length and belowground biomass were adversely affected(showing more than 70%, 50%, and 32%reduction, respectively) in sensitive genotypes compared to tolerant genotypes(35%, 31%,and 3% reduction, respectively) under 160 mmol L-1Na Cl treatment. In general,whole-plant salinity tolerance was associated with increased Na+concentration and Na+/K+ratio, and salt-tolerant genotypes often had higher root and lower shoot Na+concentration than sensitive ones. | 6 | Mechanism underlying the retarded nuclear translocation of androgen receptor splice variants显示文摘As shown in our previous study, two alternatively spliced androgen receptor(AR) variants, which are exclusively expressed in the granulosa cells of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome, exhibit retarded nuclear translocation compared with wild-type AR. However, researchers have not yet determined whether these abnormalities correlate with heat shock protein 90(HSP90)and importin α(the former is a generally accepted co-chaperone of AR, and the latter is a component of classical nuclear import complexes). Here, these two variants were mainly retained in cytoplasm with HSP90 and importin α in the presence of dihydrotestosterone(DHT), and their levels in nucleus were significantly reduced, according to the immunofluorescence staining. The binding affinity of two AR variants for importin α was consistently decreased, while it was increased in WT-AR following DHT stimulation, leading to reduced nuclear import, particularly for the insertion-AR(Ins-AR). However, the binding affinities of two AR variants for HSP90 were increased in the absence of DHT compared with WT-AR, which functioned to maintain spatial structural stability, particularly for the deletion-AR(Del-AR). | 9 | Hydrothermal synthesis of vanadium oxide nanotubes by a facile route显示文摘Vanadium oxide nanotubes were synthesized by hydrothermal treatment from V2O5·nH2O sols as precursor and dodecylamine as structure-directing template. The morphology and structure of the nanotubes were characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD, TG-DTA and FTIR. The experimental results reveal that the duration of the hydrothermal treatment is of importance for obtaining VOx-NTs which have a layered structure. TG-DTA study indicates that V5+ cations in nanotubes are partially reduced to V4+ cations. The results from FTIR spectra indicate the difference in V-O vibrations between before and after hydrothermal treatment. | 11 | Associations of Residential Greenness with Depression and Anxiety in Rural Chinese Adults显示文摘BACKGROUND Depression and anxiety are top contributors to non-fatal health loss globally.Several studies have indicated the association between residential greenness and mental health.METHOD The participants(n=27,366)were recruited from four counties in Henan Province,China during 2015–2017.Symptoms of depression and anxiety were evaluated using the Patient Health Questionnaire-2(PHQ-2)and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-2(GAD-2)in the baseline survey.The level of residential greenness during the 3-year period before the baseline survey was assessed using the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI).The mixed-effect linear regression model was applied to examine the associations of residential greenness with depression and anxiety.RESULTS The results of adjusted models showed that the score of PHQ-2(Dscore and 95%confidence interval[CI])decreased by-0.024(-0.041,-0.006)and-0.022(-0.038,-0.004)with an interquartile range(IQR)increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius,respectively.The score of GAD-2(Dscore and 95%CI)decreased by-0.024(-0.040,-0.006)and-0.028(-0.044,-0.011),in relation to an IQR increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius,respectively.CONCLUSIONS A higher level of residential greenness was significantly associated with lower risk of depression and anxiety in rural areas of Henan Province.Improving residential greenness accessibility may help to promote the mental health of rural populations. | Niu Di Shanshan Li Hao Xiang Yinyu Xie Zhenxing Mao Jian Hou Xiaotian Liu Wenqian Huo Boyi Yang Guanghui Dong Chongjian Wang Gongbo Chen Yuming Guo | 2020 | The Innovation2020,1,3: | 1 |
| 12 | The effects of person-organization fit on lending behaviors:Empirical evidence from Kiva显示文摘Donation-based crowdfunding,as part of impact investment,plays a vital role in promoting economic development and alleviating poverty.In order to enhance the lender's enthusiasm for lending behavior,some platforms,for example Kiva,have introduced groups to facilitate lending.This study examines how the group environment can affect the lenders’behaviors in crowdfunding.It has been found that lenders who join groups contribute 1.2 more loans(about$30-$42)per month than those who do not,but the theoretical mechanism of these differences is unclear.To understand in depth how the group environment affects lending behaviors,we introduce and develop the PersonOrganization fit theory and Free-rider theory in this study.Combining machine-learning techniques with empirical analysis,the results show that the matching degree of motivation between group and lender has a positive effect on the lender behavior,i.e.,lending to loans,and this relationship is weakened by free-riding in large groups.In addition,the group openness can have different effects on lenders of different group sizes.Our research enriches the existing crowdfunding literature and fills the gap in the research on new lending models in crowdfunding,and it will also be useful for crowdfunding platforms in setting the rules for building groups. | Hongke Zhao Xiaopei Liu Xi Zhang Yinyue Wei Chunli Liu | 2022 | Journal of Management Science and Engineering2022,7,1: | 0 |
| 13 | Heterosis in root microbiota inhibits growth of soil-borne fungal pathogens in hybrid rice显示文摘In nature,plants are colonized by various microbes that play essential roles in their growth and health.Heterosis is a natural genetic phenomenon whereby first-generation hybrids exhibit superior phenotypic performance relative to their parents.It remains unclear whether this concept can be extended to the“hybridization”of microbiota from two parents in their descendants and what benefits the hybrid microbiota might convey.Here,we investigated the structure and function of the root microbiota from three hybrid rice varieties and their parents through amplicon sequencing analysis of bacterial 16S ribosomal DNA(rDNA)and fungal internal transcribed spacer(ITS)regions.We show that the bacterial and fungal root microbiota of the varieties are distinct from those of their parental lines and exhibit potential heterosis features in diversity and composition.Moreover,the root bacterial microbiota of hybrid variety LYP9 protects rice against soil-borne fungal pathogens.Systematic analysis of the protective capabilities of individual strains from a 30-member bacterial synthetic community derived from LYP9 roots indicated that community members have additive protective roles.Global transcription profiling analyses suggested that LYP9 root bacterial microbiota activate rice reactive oxygen species production and cell wall biogenesis,contributing to heterosis for protection.In addition,we demonstrate that the protection conferred by the LYP9 root microbiota is transferable to neighboring plants,potentially explaining the observed hybrid-mediated superior effects of mixed planting.Our findings suggest that some hybrids exhibit heterosis in their microbiota composition that promotes plant health,highlighting the potential for microbiota heterosis in breeding hybrid crops. | Mengting Zhang Yinyue Wang Yuanyi Hu Huacai Wang Yawen Liu Bingran Zhao Jie Zhang Rongxiang Fang Yongsheng Yan | 2023 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,4: | 0 |

| 16 | One-Dimensional(NH=CINH_(3))_(3)PbI_(5)Perovskite for Ultralow Power Consumption Resistive Memory显示文摘Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites(OIHPs)have proven to be promising active layers for nonvolatile memories because of their rich abundance in earth,mobile ions,and adjustable dimensions.However,there is a lack of investigation on controllable fabrication and storage properties of one-dimensional(1D)OIHPs.Here,the growth of 1D(NH=CINH_(3))_(3)PbI_(5)((IFA)_(3)PbI_(5))perovskite and related resistive memory properties are reported.The solution-processed 1D(IFA)_(3)PbI_(5)crystals are of welldefined monoclinic crystal phase and needle-like shape with the length of about 6 mm.They exhibit a wide bandgap of 3 eV and a high decomposition temperature of 206℃.Moreover,the(IFA)_(3)PbI_(5)films with good uniformity and crystallization were obtained using a dual solvent of N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF)and dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO).To study the intrinsic electric properties of this anisotropic material,we constructed the simplest memory cell composed of only Au/(IFA)_(3)PbI_(5)/ITO,contributing to a high-compacted device with a crossbar array device configuration.The resistive random access memory(ReRAM)devices exhibit bipolar current-voltage(I-V)hysteresis characteristics,showing a record-low power consumption of~0.2 mW among all OIHP-based memristors.Moreover,our devices own the lowest power consumption and“set”voltage(0.2 V)among the simplest perovskite-based memory devices(inorganic ones are also included),which are no need to require double metal electrodes or any additional insulating layer.They also demonstrate repeatable resistance switching behaviour and excellent retention time.We envision that 1D OIHPs can enrich the low-dimensional hybrid perovskite library and bring new functions to low-power information devices in the fields of memory and other electronics applications. | Xuefen Song Hao Yin Qing Chang Yuchi Qian Chongguang Lyu Huihua Min Xinrong Zong Chao Liu Yinyu Fang Zhengchun Cheng Tianshi Qin Wei Huang Lin Wang | 2021 | Research2021,,1: | 0 |
